This is the most accurate locations of the South Obelisk Peak with the GPS coordinates recorded beside the geodesic marker and rock can. See Google Maps for the "south obelisk track start" position with the need to look around for some sign of a track just uphill from that point. The track is infrequently used but makes its way up the hillside without need for rock climb in step wooded terrain.
