Southwest Family Medicine: Jabel Juvenal T MD in Seward County

The receptionist told me I am considered a new customer because I haven’t had to go to the doctor in a few years and I have less priority than other clients and have to be scheduled out for a later date. Go here if you want to be penalized for being healthy.

I see Juvy when I go there and she is wonderful. She will spend the time needed to make sure you understand something and answer all your questions.The office staff, on the other hand, is horrible. Pick a reason…it’ll be accurate.

I come here for Dr. Laura Kane. If she ever leaves I will follow. This place is a joke when it comes to appointments and professional attitudes and common courtesy. They over book and even if you arrive early for your appointment you still wait for a minimum of an hour in the waiting room. My time is just as important and when my appointment time comes and goes, its very frustrating to say the least. What makes matters even worse is that they reserve the right to charge you for missing your appointment, for not cancelling in enough time, or if you are 10 minutes late. And heaven forbid you have an opinion or get frustrated and tell them, you run the risk of being dismissed as a patient. I think the entire office staff should be dismissed and some new professional and courteous people brought in.

I come here only for Dr. Laura Kane. She is wonderful! Aside from that, this place is an absolute joke. They overbook appointments and you wait for absolute ever. You wait on your appointment an hour or more each and every single time yet they charge you a fee if youre more than 15 minutes late to your appontment. If Dr. Laura Kane ever leaves this place I will NEVER come back!! The staff here is rude every single time you come in or call over the phone. Ive never had a decent experience with them at all.

They are very distrustful and when you least know it they charge you for something your insurance already paid or you already paid. It is pretty obvious that if you have an appointment THEY MAKE YOU PAY Before you go in and before you leave their office and you can’t leave if you do not pay. And the nurses are rude if you need assistance. Me and my family will NOT be coming here again period

I call to set up a doctor appointment and the receptionist was very rude

Horrible!! I stopped in to get 5 stitches removed. They said I needed to make an appointment. There was no one in the waiting room. At least 8 behind the counter wearing scrubs doing nothing. They told me they couldnt do it today and there were no available appointments. I have insurance and cash but no one wanted to assist in removing the stitches. Good thing I wasnt bleeding. Dont bother with this place! No one wants to do their job.

Between myself, kids and wife we’ve seen every doctor/PA in this office and we keep coming back! They are always good at getting us in short notice and take very good care of us! Heidi and juvy are great with kids and Doctor Jabel is very nice and informative.
