Gabe and his team did an excellent job of preparing our new RV. The PDI went smoothly and he was extremely patient with our process for going over _everything_ before we drove off the lot.

I contacted them through their website about a repair. Two customer representatives called weeks apart to ask how the service department treated us. Their service department never called, even after they were made aware twice that I hadnt been contacted. If I could leave 0, I would.

1.Having a store of this caliber in my small town is a real bonus.2.I incorrectly diagnosed an INVERTER problem, the gentlemen behind the counter asked a few quick to diagnose it as a converter problem.3.They ordered the part, and I had it next day and installed.4.There price was very competitive with online retailers, and was worth the conversation.

Whether you need parts or service Specialty is the place to go. If you need service call ahead for an appointment and ask for Doug or Jason. For parts stop in or call and ask for Eric because you wont find a better book of knowledge then him. Get your camper ready for the 2022 season by visiting these fine folks.

Parts guys are always friendly and helpful. Been going here years for parts. Just bought a new camper from them and theres quite a few things that shouldve been caught before it got to me and fixed but kind of par for the course with a new camper. Youre buying a brand new fixer upper. Few of these things though tells me no one seriously looked it over....example...the solar charger was hooked up backwards and had a code flashing. Easy fix but shouldve been noticed. Several things like that.

All they do is lie and take your money.Would never take another rv back to them.Told me everything worked get home generator shuts off after 5 minutes call them they tell me they dont work on them. Then get looking at my bill have a valve leaking on the hot water heater.I talk to "Doug"he will call me back it has been a month no call.So if you want to give your money away give to a charity not them.

We bought a very nice, brand new pop-up camper from Specialty Sales in Canal Winchester in May, 2021. We decided to sell the motorcycle to buy a more family-friendly past-time... camping! The bad news is, we only got to go camping once before the misery began. The camper was at the service center for a grand total of 6 weeks throughout the summer and fall due to a continuous need for countless repairs. And each time wed pick up and try to go camping, we were returning the camper to the service department to get the same problem fixed. We actually camped only 4 times over the course of 6 months. Now the camper is winterized and stored. Im not even looking forward to bringing it out in the spring, fearful for what else has gone wrong since we parked it. Specialty refuses to take responsibility for the LEMON of a camper we bought -- only placing blame on the manufacturer. The service manager knows us by name and asks if we want a job when we bring in the camper. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!!

We purchased a new Vintage Cruiser from Speciality RV in Canal Winchester. This is our second RV purchased from them. We received a phone call from Griff while we were traveling asking if we were interested in trading our camper in. The best part is that we were discussing it and was very interested in upgrading. We knew what we wanted. We knew they had it. Griff worked with us while we were traveling. We had completed the deal on the road without even meeting in person. The trust between the dealership, Griff and us speaks highly of what we think of specialty RV. We are so happy to again make a purchase from them.Tom and Leslie Shover

We bought an Rv from specialty rv in canal Winchester (horrible idea)! 2 years later we brought our rv to specialty for service in Lancaster (which was a last case resort). We gave them a list of stuff to look at/fix using our "platinum warranty," and to not fix it if it isnt covered. 1 week later we pick up our rv. Nothing is fixed not because it wasnt covered, but because every excuse in the book. Parts they said they had "pallets of that just got delivered" they now said was on back order. They had fingerprints and stuff moved on things that had nothing to do with the issues. Lastly they left our stove on (which was not one of the issues at allwith propane leaking into the cabin of our class C, but of course they had "no idea how that would have happened." To top it all off they stole stuff out of our RV and are not returning calls now!

Trying to get a hold of anyone here is a joke. We left multiple messages and not once did they return a call. Once we contacted Coachman Headquarters, miraculously we received a call. This company shouldnt be dealing in Class As. They are lacking in knowledge on how the systems work.... especially the technology. We paid a prep fee and walk through, its just a way to grab money. There were repairs not addressed, even though they were written on the prep sheet. There was a leak up front... water running through the fan and onto our dashboard when it was turned on.... when we turned them on - on the day of pick up, they still leaked and one fan was burnt out- so obviously zero work was done on that. Shades only go down part way. So another issue not addressed. We will find another RV Service place that deals with Class A coaches to get the work completed. I wouldnt trust them to handle this type of work.

We went down to Specialty RV’s Canal Winchester location to look at an older folding camper. My wife had made it quite clear to me that she wasn’t interested in owning another pop-up, but while open-minded, I knew it was the more affordable choice for our weekend events (we do not spend the entire warm season living in the camper like some folks do).So after looking at the trailer went down to see, she begged to look at small bunkhouse units, abs we opted to look at a two year old Cherokee Wolf Pup 16BHS which was a model on our shortlist of travel trailers if we opted to actually finance a newer camper. The finance and sales teams were very patient with us despite the unseasonably cold temperatures we were viewing these campers at. The temperature was about 17°F and Griff was completely supportive, he patiently waited outside of the campers to let my wife and I discuss what we liked about all of the options in each of the three campers we requested without complaint. My wife fell in love with the Wolf Pup, it was just as wonderful in person as it had appeared online and straight way said that was the one she wanted. The finance team worked on getting financing done and we ended up completing the process in a single day.I highly recommend Specialty RV, if I didn’t live so far away we would probably take our rig to them for all of its serving too!

Gabe and the crew at Specialtys service garage are great. I had a couple of warranty fixes and they handled everything great. No back and forth, they looked at the problems, said they would be covered and did the work. Repairs were done the right way, no short cuts. Will definitely take the trailer back to them in the future.

Over the weekend my family and I rented a travel trailer from Specialty RV. From the start Jason and the staff at the rental office were great. Picked it up at noon on Friday and was heading to the campground at 1230. Jason walked us through the whole thing and showed us how to set it up and tear it down. We will be renting again next year for another camping adventure that’s for sure and maybe even purchasing and trailer from this dealership next year.

Ill start by saying the salesman Kevin was very good at his job.. The problem we are having is that when we picked up our RV after traveling 170 miles one way is it was raining and snowing. The 30 day tag got soaked and blew off about 10 miles on 70 east. I called on our way home and was told they would send us a new one. Waiting a week and finally called and was told AGAIN they would send one! 3hours later my son was told they will not send us a replacement but we could drive all the way back there to get a new 30 day tag. Long story short we have a trailer that is sitting on expired registration which we never got any paperwork with a tag number on it! Now we have made payments on a trailer that we cant use.. This is written for Chris Baker and family! What a nightmare!! Very unsatisfied excustomer!

We were first time trailer buyers. You really find out about a dealer after the sale is completed, and with Specialty RV, we found that they are fantastic people who stand by their word and will do what it takes to make the sales experience perfect. We dont live in Columbus, but traveled a few hours to Columbus to do business with them because of their prices and the inventory they offered. The sales experience was very low-pressure. We were given the information and time we needed to make a good decision, and a price that was below what we expected to pay sealed the deal. When we came back a few weeks later to pick it up, there was a little exterior damage (through no fault of theirsthat we pointed out. They took care of it, and kept the trailer until we could get back to town again to pick it up. Kim did our walk-through with us when we were ready to pick it up, and did a wonderful job. She is great to work with, and does a great job teaching you everything you need to know about your new RV. In our case, when something wasnt right, she made it right. Overall, a five-star buying and service experience. When the time comes to "trade up," we will definitely be back at Specialty RV again!

I am a disabled veteran and I was interested in one of the low cost campers that they had for sale. Use to call cars and stuff the budget lot. But anyway I was working with Zach on one and I happen to contact them when they were going to the RV show event. But anyway first he said that he would stop by the dealership on his way to the event to see what worked and what didnt so that I would have an idea of what I was going to have to do to it to actually live in it. And I stressed that to him thats why I was going to buy it. Well, I didnt hear from him. I gave him 2 days and I called him he said that he was at the show and he would do it on the Mon. After the show well thats been almost 2 weeks ago and I still havent heard from him. If I could give them no stars I would. I know that he wouldnt make much commission off the sale of it but during this time of year a dollar is a dollar. Thats what my experience was like with Zach so as they say buyer beware but probably if youre going to buy one that costs quite a bit then your experience with Zach would probably be a lot better than mine.

I brought my 2018 Grey Wolfe to Specialty RV in Lancaster on 11/4/19 for winterization and warranty work as the slide out was leaking. The seal from the slide out had gone off track because the track was bent on the rear side of the slide out. Specialty RV said the seal replacement was covered under the warranty and there would be a $50 deductible. Specialty RV had the camper for over a month. I received a call that said the warranty replacement was completed. There were also other minor repairs I asked to be done during the time Specialty RV had the camper that were not completed. The slide out continues to leak and appears the track for the seal was not replaced at all but was merely caulked at the very bottom of the side the leak is coming from. I’ve left a message with Specialty RV service to please call me back. Fingers crossed they will make this right. I am also going to call the warranty company to see if a Claim for the warranty work was ever submitted as the sv department claimed it had. Presently not a happy customer....

Dont buy anything from this company. Service is nothing to be desired. They have worked on my travel trailer and nothing was fixed . Screws missing from door found on the floor. Refrigerater wasnt secured back into its place. Found screws and plates on the floor that was never put back in there place. Ive been waiting two months for a call to fix other things. They are blaming forestriver for taking so long.

I recently purchased an RV from Specialty RV. The only issue I had was I had asked for something to be fixed before we picked it up but it wasn’t fixed. The person that did my final walkthrough with me got it handled for me very quickly and we were on our way.The only other suggestion I would have is to have a one stop shop where you can purchase, do your paperwork and pick up your RV not three different locations.

All good before and during the sale although no luck with anything after the sale. No communication, Broken promises, multiple warranty issues with not even a return phone call to resolve issues. No organization or internal systems to handle sales at this level. To top it off our new toy hauler flooded on our first use due to plumbing lines not even connected... . Makes you wonder why no one checked mechanical systems prior to selling the unit.

Absolutely pleasant experience from the moment I stepped on the lot to the time I pulled off the lot with my new toy hauler. Salesperson Michael was top notch. He spent quite a while assisting while I picked the right unit for my needs. Mark in finance was excellent. He had me financed in a flash. Sherry at the welcome center was awesome also. I couldnt ask for a more pleasurable experience from beginning to end. If you are in the market for a recreational vehicle I highly recommend this organization. Thank you Specialty!

Very nice facility, all units are behind a chain link fence. Staff are nice to speak with. Issue is I purchased a unit over two hours away (105 milesand needed warranty work to be done. I was told by Forest River corporate to go to this location. I called on July 9 and made a reservation for July 31. I called before I left my house with the camper and was told to bring the unit in. When I arrived, I gave my information and made sure they had the information from Forest River corporate. I was half way home and received a call from Specialty RV who told me they had no record of my appointment and then told me that the warranty is up to the dealer and not the manufacturer and they would not be able to work on my camper. I called Forest River and they advised if I have issues to go to Mid Ohio. I attempted to speak with the guy who handles the warranty at specialty RV however he had left for lunch.End result was me taking the camper to Mid Ohio. You might ask why I didnt go to Mid Ohio initially and that was due to Specialty RV stating they could get my unit in for repair a week earlier than Mid Ohio.Specialty RV has a nice facility however dont judge a book by its cover essentially.

Great people, very helpful Dan was our salesperson person who did a great job showing us the camper and Nick did our walkthrough, which was very informative this was our first brand new camper. The only complaint I have is theres a lot of little things that should have been noticed when it was being prepped for us to come to our walkthrough, that I didnt know about until we took it camping two days after I got it found out the refrigerator dont work right and im sure the problems are from the manufacturer the cover for the front window wasnt made correctly and will not Snap-on and the holes in the floor for wiring run through are drilled about an inch and a half too big a diameter and nothing was put in the holes to stop outside Critters from getting in.also several bolts that hold the window in the slide out appear to have been over torqued and the heads are broke off.. Had to make an appointment to get it in to get it fixed Im just hoping I dont have to leave it at the beginning of camping season, once again I dont feel that it was specialty RV fault I think it was a manufacturer taking shortcuts. But we will see how it goes on the repairs

This is where I bought my 2018 coachman chaparral. The wife and I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel the USA in it, and are loving it. The sales personnel here were great, and gave us a very good deal on our fifth wheel as well as discounted prices on the installation of our sliding hitch. As with almost all new fifth wheels and travel trailers, there are always minor warranty issues. Being in Texas, we have found their laws regarding dealerships and warranty repairs a little lacking, seeing that the earliest we can get it in for any repairs is over three months. I contacted Specialty RV and Justin S. Went out of his way to point me in the right direction and get me in touch with who I needed to talk to. Lippert went above and beyond, sending a new leg for the leveling system within days, and a dealership in carlsbad nm has scheduled our unit in for repair within weeks. Fantastic service from forest river, lci and specialty rv. Thanks heaps!

Stopped into the Rockbridge Location for a Toyhauler. Spoke with Scott and went through 2 different trailers to see the quality of Forrestwind. They are for sure nicer trailers than what 2 other places had carried. Went around to 3 different places. Came back the next day for measurements and the third day brought the Side by Side with us there to make sure it could fit with some modifying of cabinets! 2 small rolls of carpet down on the ramp down(to keep cleanand BOOM it fits as PLANNED! Point being they worked with use to make sure we were getting what we needed. Went in and Talked with a man named "Grizz" which was a cool dude and fair. Came to an agreement on price which I am very pleased with because I wanted to give these fellas my business! 5 days later I went to get my weight distribution installed and to pick the trailer up. Darrell, Justin and Dustin I believe were there names were very helpful and knowledgeable. A few minor problems and readjustments needed but it was all handled the way it should have been handled and quickly! The people here made my buying experience very nice and non stressed.

We had no problems with the sales aspect of specialty RV except the Forest River brand they carry. Stay away from this brand. They have terrible customer service!! We took our RV into Specialty for extended warranty work on our 2014 Sierra by Forest River. One of the slide outs quit working. OK, this is pretty bad in itself for such a new RV. We took it in for service at specialty RV and after two month we are still going around and around about a simple part number. No one can seem to come up with a part number. Really?!?!? Forest River is absolutely no help at all. Everyone is playing the blame game. We are so dissatisfied that words cannot express. We are going into prime camping weather and we have No ideas when we will have our RV back. UNACCEPTABLE !!!

I saw some trailers online that I was interested in and sent them an email. They sent a super-fast and very detailed response. I planned a trip "Just to look" on Saturday. Jason showed us a few of the ones I was asking about, but then he took me to a Toy Hauler that I had overlooked. It was PERFECT! He explained all the features and walked us around, then we held our breath when he gave us the list price...and...WHAT? We could totally do that! He got set up with the financing side of things and I am now the proud owner of a Wolf Pack Toy Hauler!Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and I even got to play with a puppy while I was waiting for the paperwork to finish up, no promises that Pepper will be there when you go, but shes adorable!I got a great trailer at a great price and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Specialty RV!I pick up the trailer in a few weeks so I will update this review when I do to keep everyone informed of how that goes.

The salesman, Jay, admitted from the start that he didnt know much about RVs and that he was more into travel trailers. My wife and I bought a used motor coach that had some obvious water damage. The sales manager, Jason, assured us that the leaks had all been repaired. Long story short, the leaks were not fixed. There was a little touch-up done to the luggage area near the top of the ladder. The rest were hidden from the inside. After we got the thing home I did a closer inspection of the roof and found that most of it was rotten and the rubber coating was peeling away. I sent an email via the comment section on their website and Jay called me about it. He and Jason did not like my accusations. After about 30 minutes on the phone listening to how they paid their mechanic Andy, over 900 dollars to fix the leaks I told him I would send pics. As soon as I sent them I got a text saying to email them (finally I had a direct email address). Then I got another email saying they were sending the pics to Andy but that he wouldnt be in until the following week. When Monday finally came I had to call Andy late in the day who told me he knew nothing about the problem, had not received any pics, and did not charge them 900 dollars to fix the leaks. Andy proceeded to explain that they work for him and that he is not in the business of rebuilding used RVs and turning them into new ones. He told me to drive the RV back up there so he could see it and if he missed a couple he would patch them up. I promptly emailed that information back to Jay and told him I was tired of not being told the truth and that I will follow other channels. I also made it clear there would be no more communication via phone calls. All future correspondence would have to be done through email so I would have what was said in writing. Within 5 minutes they tried to call me. I havent heard from them since. About 100 dollars spent on the roof and it will get us through the rest of the season. Then it will need the Luan replaced and the roof re-coated. They have some fairly good deals. Just dont believe anything they wont put in writing. And do a very thorough inspection before buying.
