Great selection

Cannot stand this place and I know many people in town who feel the same way. Two years ago I tried to purchase liquor here with my new york state ID (from jersey and parents have a shore house in ortley but Ive lived in NYC since collegeand the worker WOULDNT LET ME BUY MY ALCOHOL BC HE SAID IT WAS FAKE. I was 23 at this point and the ID was very real. I begged him to have the police come verify that it was legit so i wouldn’t have to go out of my way to go to a different liquor store but they refused. I had to have my mom come bring my passport for the principal of it, but will not be giving my business to them ever again. so many other issues with them.

I rarely ever leave reviews for bad experiences, but my experience with the a staff member at this liquor store was horrendous. I walked in on 7/25/2022 around 5:30pm immediately greeted by a staff member who was male with a beard and bald. I informed the staff member it was pouring rain outside and I had to bike there so I went shirtless considering we are down by the beach and it would take me 15 seconds to grab the item I needed. The second I walked in this staff member was extremely unfriendly even after explaining my situation walking away from me and dismissing my reasons for the particular situation. I then had to walk to the Chinese restaurant next door who were generous enough to supply me with a trash bag to use as a shirt. Upon entering the store again, this employee refused to make eye contact with me and did not appreciate the extra effort I made follow their dress code under the ridiculous circumstances. Please fix this issue with this particular employee, because it made for a truly unbelievably awful experience in light of the situation.

Does what a liquor store should , they sell liquor. Joking aside they were very helpful.

Denied me for having someone with me that forgot their ID, then when I saw my friend inside and said hi, denied them as well. Absolutely trash

I was treated like a criminal for coincidentally running into someone in the store. Said person I ran into was denied because a member of their party did not have an ID. I CLEARLY did not enter the store with this person. Cashier was rude, fresh, and surly. I will never return to this Spirits and will take my weekly business elsewhere.

Not much stock lately .

Decent selection of beer. They have some IPA and craft beers. Nice selection of wine. Prices are fair. 4 stars

The male cashier was very rude and disrespectful. Gave me a hard time even after I presented a valid ID. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

absolute RUDEST women at the front desk. not sure how this place is even in business with that type of service. i will NEVER be going back and encourage whoever works there to reconsider who is the “face” of their establishment. rude, horrible, never again.

their policy was not on clear display which is the if anyone under age holds,grabs or carrys a drink it voids the whole purchase which doesn’t make any sense

Helpful staff, great selection

Guy told me to buy a 24pk because its cheaper than 2 12s. Common sense, but who knows in some States & Stores, so thats why I asked. I get to the front and the girl charges me almost $80 for 8-6pks. I told her you charge by the case because Im buying in volume. "Oh, idk, let me get my manager, " she said. I waited over 5 minutes then said loudly "ILL FIND A REAL LIQUOR STORE" then walked out. DONT BOTHER HERE, GO ELSEWHERE!
