Staker Custom Hats in Weber County

I have received my hat, not what I was expecting it to be. Pour quality really thin felt, alot thiner then other felt hats I compared it to. While trying to reshape it after i received it I found was weak points on the edge of the brim where a knife slipped and crease marks in the crown. Im not impressed. Definitely not impressed with the fact others have not received their hats. I will not purchase from staker hats again. I have found someone els that takes pride and time in making hats.

Update: I legit had to order a hat off Amazon so i could have a hat for wedding. Will be going to store and either getting my hat or money back. Please don’t waste your money here he should shut his doors for treating customers so horrible. I have seen other reviews of hats ordered after mine that have been delivered. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUSI ordered a hat December of 2021 was told it was a 3 month wait I said no problem I can wait wedding I’m ordering hat for is in September. I have called, texted, done everything in my power to contact and the 1 time he did respond he said it would be a few more weeks then for sure been done. I’ve tried calling texting and messaging on Facebook since and nothing. So I had to go buy another hat from a big box store as the wedding is days away. The unprofessional nature of this transaction and the shear lack of communication is crazy to me. At this point I’m assuming I’ll never get my hat. Do your self a favor and literally order from anyone else.

I ordered a hat in February got it yesterday and I will say it was worth the wait . Spoke to him on the phone to revamp my ordered . Was very professional and made the adjustment accordingly. A custom ANYTHING will take a bit longer and if anyone has noticed EVERYTHING is on back order. Personally I’d recommend Staker hat co. Just be patient I’m sure he’s doing what he can .

Craig did an excellant job making my western bowler. Yes, he told me because of covid and ordering real beaver, that it would take at least 5 months to find any base. Well, he had it done in 7 months. It was well worth the wait. I love my cowboy bowler.

Dudes a joke, ordered a hat 3-20-22Nothing came, contacted him June 11 22, gave me a line he was waiting for hat bodies, that week, no updates since, made 3 contact attempts since than for a full refund, guy cant be reached ever! Emails fail, cant and wont answer the phone!! save your money he will rip you off! Hes a con! 300 dollars not well stolen!!! Do not buy a staker hat or even attempt too, Id give him a quarter star if the ratings aloud us too! Go else where for your hat purchases. Shame on you Craig Staker may Karma we with you

Tried calling with no answers. Emailed twice thinking the first one didnt go through, no answer. Based on earlier similiar reviews, may be better to try somewhere else. Im glad business is that good for them that they dont need to respond to new customers.

Ordered the Bohannan hat. It was a long wait due to back order and possibly among other set backs possible orders backed up but this deserves a five star review regardless. Obviously knows what hes doing, give it time and have patience.

I ordered a hat over a year ago and then suddenly hat to move and tried calling and emailing multiple times to revise my address so I could still receive the hat… well I didn’t receive anything until yesterday! When the email said my hat shipped. I’ll never receive it cause I don’t even live close to that address. Money lost to nothing

Placed an order for a buckaroo hat, paid a hefty sum for a quality hat. EXCEPT the hat never showed up. Sent a message; owner Read It And Never Responded Take your money elsewhere unless you enjoy getting screwed over. Plenty other honest folk who would love your business.

Ive now ordered 2 hats from Craig. I absolutely love them and will be purchasing more from him in the near future. Hes best/easily contacted in his brick and mortar store. Hes busy and the phones are busy a lot. Great guy, great quality, great price. Doesnt get much better than Staker Hats!

I ordered a hat from Staker Custom hats in March 2020. I was told the hat would be ready by September. September came around and I hadnt received the hat, which was understandable due to COVID. I called and emailed Staker Custom hats but received no response. It is now March of 2021 and I still have not received the hat or any updates. Be very careful about ordering a hat from this buisiness!
