Star Crest Motel in Tioga County

Dont get me wrong the people running it seem very nice. It was a great price compared to $100-250 places near by. But at $60 I still expected a bit more. It seemed "clean" I didnt see any bugs but it was late when I got in. The towel was clogged and they didnt even have a plunger in the bathroom. Its kinda in bad need of a renovation, bad. Bed need replaced but I slept fine. WiFi was absolutely terrible. Like bare min of wifi. But if your by yourself, need it cheap and just wanna sleep and go. Should do the job.

They may be rare in Pennsylvania but I killed two brown relcuse spiders in the bathroom a few blood stains the sheets smelled disgustingly dirty pillow covers fell off the pillows the pillows had brown stains all over them they dont do house keeping the ac didnt work other than that it was horrible there was also some mold on the walls Im reporting this motel

I felt like someone was going to wind up dead here. So basically most American independently owned non franchise hotels.

If you are tired of hustle n bustle just want peace n quiet & dio not want disturbed unless you ask to be~~this is the perfect place to stay!! Is our "2nd home"!! Very friendly & attentive should we need anything!!! I like being here.

Beds was hard as a rock. There was holes in the walls. Cigarette holes in the bedsheets. They cleaned the room yet forgot all towels and wash clothes. When they brought them 30 mins later they had stains all over them. Then when I checked out they proceeded to say”I didn’t tell them I was bringing my children, which I clearly did”. The cleaning man was very sweet.

Very run down (needs to be remodeled soondark and dingy inside the lock on the door was difficult to operate inside and out! They wanted $60 first then dropped it to $55 +TAX! It was still over $60 I dont know what the. hotel tax is in this county? Will we stay here again probably not! They keep saying the price was "For The Area" "For The Area" I know the Area very well I used to live here! Its actually Dying like most rual towns in America lots of homes for sale, some becoming Abandoned :( its definitely not what it was prior to Marshala Shale coming in and Fracking for Natural Gas. It used to be like a protected National park they used to have Horse Drawn Sleigh rides down main St but its all disappeared ! You would think when the diverted rt 15 and built a wide highway things would get better but no people are now just passing the small towns! This is what happens to RT 66 the Interstate killed main St USA. So yeah I know the area! Very well!

Nice place a little. Old looking but nice in rooms and clean

This is a some what nice place the people here are wonder full they have help us out a great deal the old man who works here has he is a nice man

The rooms are of good size, basic cable and Wi-Fi arw available for free.

Its ok cant get fresh towel only first thing in the morning. An only one at that.

Im not saying its a five star hotel but Im giving it a five star review. If youre looking for a great place to rest and rejuvenate while traveling, this is it. The owners were extremely nice and friendly and the place felt like you were at your grandparents house. Id stay here again in a heartbeat. It was the most quaint, small town vibe place Ive been to in awhile. Thanks for the hospitality! Id love to stay again.

I would not recommend this motel to anyone. It has bed bugs all over the bed. The white towels aint even white anyone. I ended up leaving that place and got a hotel instead. And my entire company that stays in this motel has said that they have been getting bite by ticks and bed bugs. They also mention that the owners are really rude. It is cheap for the night but its the most disgusting motel Ive ever stayed at.

Slightly unfriendly and there was blood on the bathroom wall.... we asked for them to clean it and never did

Ok, flat screen HDTV, WISH, rooms are must, but ok.

The manager just banged on my door while I was undressed, while I had a dont disturb sign. He started screaming at me immediately and I became afraid he was going to become physically violent. He was screaming asking if I had a cat, screaming about other people smoking in their rooms, screaming about a small amount of dirt in the walk way, telling me to get out if I dont like it. I just placed all the furniture I front of my door and am waiting for a ride to get out of here.

$40 a night not bad. tv that worms not bad. nasty ass beds with piss stains all over the blankets. the rooms we not heated and they kept turning the heat off when we would leave. the bathroom was falling apart. the beds were as hard as a rock. spend the money to stay somewhere nice.
