Always good food. Steak and eggs topnotch, tender thick sirloin
Good healthy prepared food, loved the Brussel sprouts and the Ruben sandwich. Servers are always friendly. Its not open daily so I would suggest calling first.
We chose to come here for the first time for a birthday lunch and were very impressed. There is ample seating inside and on the spacious patio outside. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the sunshine. (Bonus: music, and some people watching!)Steady Eddies has a large and varied menu to satisfy any taste and dietary requirement. I had freshly made cherry boba lemonade, a grilled chicken club with (perfectlyroasted Brussels sprouts and it was all superb.Service was friendly and attentive.A heads up: Since the restaurant is attached to the farmers market, check the opening days/hours before you go.We will definitely be back regularly!Update: Weve been here many times since and both food and service has been consistently excellent every time!
Best Place To Eat With The Best Atmosphere!!
Went to lunch with a friend and my daughter.I had 1/2 of a chefs salad, huge portion.Daughter had 1/2 of a club sandwich and their cheesy cauliflower soup. She said the soup was delicious, so she had to order more to go!Friend had a simple kogels corndog, since she is a very light eater.Waitress was very sweet!Nice quaint place with outside eating area.
Great antipasto salad and awesome service.
Flints greats restaurant. Nice staff, friendly atmosphere, and by far my favorite place to drink coffee.
The staff did not listen to my needs, and were very dismissive.
Quality service, quality food, quality experience 🫶🏾
Food is great! I eat here a lot. customer service is always great! Great vegan options my only critique is I wish they were open later/more so I could eat there more often.
The food and service are fantastic! Nicole and her son make a wonderful team. The Sean with jalapeño cream cheese was perfect! Homemade soups are also a favorite of mine. There is occasionally a short wait, but it’s worth it for the quality, fresh food!
Great vibe at the Farmer’s Market and a great place for breakfast. Nice to be able to eat either indoors or out. Their awning kept the early afternoon sun from being unbearable. A good selection of food both breakfast and lunch. We Cho’s a couple of omelettes, the California and a Ham and cheese. The eggs were fluffy and filled with plenty of fillings. The home fries were crisp and flavorful. Good selection of beverages from coffees to lemon aides. Will be back for lunch next time.
My group was seated outside. Not sure if its different inside, but we were definitely forgotten about. I asked for water at one point and didnt receive it until 30 minutes later. The food itself was well cooked and tasty.
Great food in a relaxed atmosphere we sat on the porch and had a wonderful birthday brunch for my wife. Food is extremely fresh and lots of options on the menu.
Pleasantly surprised!!! Diamond in the rough, farmers omelette was fantastic and devoured. Double cappuccino on a Rancilio cap. Machine was great too!!! Quality all around!!! Cali was amazed!!
i dined in , had a little wait and ended up getting the meal free but besides that the food was great , the service was great and the vibes was even better. this place is a must try
The energy was awesome the owner was so nice and sweet the food was great I had a dragon fruit lemonade and that was great also you guys must check this place out
Great food and the fresh lemonade was delicious. Sandwiches are always amazing.
Wish it wasnt like that. Its a shame, it took 15 min to get 2 burgers,2 fries, and had to remind them about the 2 drinks. They take the order on one side of the building now and have you pull around to the other side of the building to pick up the order, um, not convenient or efficient. People dont know this so they pulled up in the pickup line... Only 2 people working... people drove off rather than go around the building to the other side. Sad to see this building go down to the point where they will just close it, its definitely heading in that direction ⬇️
Excellent!!! These people take pride in every plate.
Absolutely love all the staff & vegan food options! Vegan breakfast burrito or veggie melt are my go tos!
Beautiful spot to eat outside, can see a large part of downtown and around the Farmers Market. Vegan Breakfast Burrito is soooooo good, youll never know it wasnt meat or eggs. Thai Soup is the best youll ever have! I buy enough for the whole week. Staff is super friendly and will treat you right. The chef is a genius, everything he makes is unique and delicious.
Im bumping down my review from 5 to 4 stars. I have loved this place, but Im so annoyed and disappointed that twice, Ive suddenly gotten a waffle instead of a biscuit when Ive ordered biscuits and gravy. Just not cool. Please update the descriptions on all of your menus when you make permanent changes.
Vegan breakfast burrito was delicious. First time stopping in this Cafe and I am so happy I did. Little bits of fresh fruit on the side was a delightful surprise. I will be back.
I have never had a bad meal here at Steady Eddies. The food is inexpensive, relatively healthy, seems to be made from actual food rather than processed garbage, and is generally just great. Presentation is a huge thing for me, and they are never sloppy when plating anything that comes to me. The employees are all very nice and have started to recognize me when I drop in, and that is always nice.If youre reading this, you should try Steady Eddies if you havent already its great! (Get the veggie club!)
A nice contemporary restaurant with a great view of downtown Flint. If you eat outside, beware the wasps.
If you’re looking for a great hometown diner, look no further. The owners are great, casual atmosphere at the market is perfect for a morning out, and the food is always good.
Grabbed lunch there and wasnt disappointed. Our food was good, service great, and didnt take long. The various lemonades are awesome too!
This was my first time going there based upon the reviews I read. I was extremely disappointed. The farmer’s omelette was small. The meat inside was processed. The eggs were bland. The home fries were decent but small portion. The coffee was not hot. If you like small portions of bland food then this is the place for you
Peaceful and delicious. Great spot!
Ive eaten here 4 or five times within a span of 3 years. I like the service, its like an aunties daughters and neice run and follow the flow of order round that joint! Food is good, mostly breakfast is my plate over there. Wish they had 7am starting hours. Low key but busy spot!
Food was wonderful and the staff was very nice. Portion sizes where large and the prices are low. Loaded mac and cheese was great! I would deffinatly recommend stopping in and giving them a try!
I would recommend. On the plus side: Food is Good if not great, breakfast burrito is amazing. The staff seem happy and to care about their job. Lobby was clean.Cons: food is a bit overpriced, $7 for a small burrito and a slice of apple. Only open until 2:30pm 3 days a week.
One of the best restaurants in Flint. Ive been going here since I was young. Their food is fantastic, the people who work there are always nice, and the atmospheric is laid back. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
We ordered 4 sandwiches for pickup. The service was very fast! I had the grilled chicken club and it had great flavor. I wish they were open on more days.
Ordered takeout while having a beer upstairs. Service was great- friendly and quick. The hand cut fries were great. However, I cant say that Id suggest the chicken and cheese quesadilla. For some reason, it was very greasy.
Very poor service. Walked in and yes it was busy so since we wanted liked at the menu and one of the waitresses was really giving my girlfriend mean looks. We asked for any breakfast sandwiches, but was ignored. The places the menu on the table said “Thank you” and walked away when the other waitress that was “serving us” oh sorry we do have breakfast.... but we were already at the door. SHAME ON YOU!
Great food. Good service. Glad to have them in Flint. Recommend the South of the Border Omelette.
Visiting hubbys hometown. Second time here. Food is great. We had the Mac n cheese special, with onion, bacon and jalapeno. Might be the best Mac n cheese weve had! Brunch is great. Great place to eat.
Delicious!! I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with the lemon chicken soup and mocha. Everything tasted fantastic! Well priced also. Definitely recommend!!
I go here typically once a month (but I wish it was more). The staff is very friendly and helpful. My pastor and I know we have friends here. Food is always fresh, hot and fast. I have never been disappointed in 10+ visits. Keep it up guys!
Great local place to eat breakfast or lunch. I always make sure to check the specials. They will make seasonal dishes. I fail to remember the ingredients in my omlet but it was delicious. The services is always friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
The best from-scratch cooking with vegan and vegetarian options. Fabulous omelettes and sandwiches.
Great laid back friendly atmosphere, eclectic style, mismatched coffee mugs, amazingly delicious food, what more can I say? (Thats rhetorical, I could easily keep going.Love the vibe at the Farmers Market and checking out all the various shops and this is our favorite spot to grab a bite while were visiting.
This is in the flint farmers market so it is only open when the market is. The food is good. Mainly sandwiches and breakfast. It is a small place so it wouldnt be a good place for a party of more than 4. The tables are set up for 4 or less. It is always busy. The waitress took good care of us. They also have vegetarian options.
Amazing local establishment. Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing prices. I can’t say enough good about this place. We have been here at least a hundred times and have not once been disappointed. They don’t up charge for gluten free bread. Their gluten free bread is really good too. They stock uncle bob smoky mountain sauce at each table (a local MI sauce). The kids menu is great and cheap too. Huge pancake, eggs and a drink for $3.99. Can’t beat it. This is our best local eat for our families dietary restrictions and doesn’t break the bank like others.
This has to be the best spot in downtown Flint for both breakfast and lunch. The food is consistently delicious, generously-portioned, photogenic, affordable, and it always comes out unbelievably fast, no matter how busy it is.Everyone who works there from the wait staff to the chefs in the kitchen are always smiling, welcoming, and friendly. They offer just enough options to please everyone from die-hard carnivores to tree-hugging vegans.Even though they are located in the Farmers Market, they are also conveniently open on non-market days.Ive eaten everywhere downtown Flint at least once, and this is the place Ive returned to the most and will continue bringing new people in with me.Flint needs more places as awesome as Steady Eddys!
Pretty much spot on. Tremendous food. Excellent presentation. Only thing missing is Benedict and poached eggs.Motivated a return visit to Flint.
Best hot coco, best breakfast specials in town. Everything is super fresh. And the cooks are awesome. The food comes out amazing every time!
Great sandwiches! We love eating here both for the food and staff and for the people-watching if youre sitting outside. There usually isnt a long wait even if the Farmers Market is busy.
