Exquisite service and knowledgeable representatives. It’s rare that a manager comes out and thanks you for your business as Mr. Brown did. Over all very impressive service.Second time purchasing from them and it keeps getting better and better.
TL;DR High quality furniture. Below average payment and checkout process Horrendous delivery, including multiple errors made.Details:On Sunday 6/5/22 purchased a floor sample bed. The representative who helped us was knowledgeable about the products but was not competent in writing up the order and collecting payment. She had to reach out to me later in the day to collect "...the full balance because it’s a clearance/final sale item..." despite charging my card for a deposit while I was in the store.6/14/22 Stickley called to say delivery is ready to be scheduled but I need to pay the balance. Turns out they did not charge the full amount despite charging my credit card 2 different times on the day of purchase.Fri 6/24/22 11:18AM Stickley called & said delivery was scheduled for Sat 6/25/22 between 9AM & 1PM.Sat 6/25/22 8:41AM Delivery Co. called to say they had to reschedule delivery because they could not locate my bed.10:00AM 6/25/22, I arrived at Stickley to find out where my bed is. I spoke with Kenny the store manager & explained what had transpired so far.10:02AM Delivery company called and spoke with Kenny. They told him that they had to reschedule because of mechanical issues with the delivery truck. This not what they told me earlier that morning.After a few minutes talking w/ Kenny the delivery confirmed that they couldnt locate my bed. But at approx 10:10AM they located my bed.We asked if they can pick up the bed at the warehouse and deliver it to me. For 20 minutes the CSR has us on hold. At the same time Kenny reached out to his superiors at Stickley.Then the CSR said theres nothing the company can do to get me my bed Saturday. Kenny & I discuss different options and decide to reschedule delivery for a later date.Kenny & I were finishing up the details of the rescheduling and I was about to leave when at 10:54 the del. co. called and said they found a driver & truck and will deliver the bed between 4-7 the same day.Approx 3:30PM the delivery van arrives. At my front door one worker was there with the headboard and footboard which were not wrapped in any bubble wrap or protective paper. The other worker brought in the rails and a box from the van. They wanted to lean some of these pieces against walls or doors of my house while they carried up the other pieces. I told them not to do that because I did not want the bed or my walls to be scratched.We took apart my old bed & the workers set up the new bed.Immediately I noticed a white mark on the right headboard bed post that was not there when we saw the bed in the showroom.Then the workers opened the box and took out the bed support slats. As they were laying the 1st one in place, one worker realized it was too short. He said they gave him slats for a full-size bed, not a queen size bed. They were willing to take the bed back but I thought it unwise. It risked more damage to the bed by them or Stickley and based on the events that transpired so far, I was not confident the bed would not be successfully re-delivered.After waiting a few days for the warehouse to locate my bed support slats, on 6/28 Stickley sent via UPS new bed slats. They arrived Thursday, June 30.On July 1, Furniture Networks Solutions contacted me to set up the installation. The earliest date available was Wednesday July 13. Another 12 days without use of the bed we paid for. On July 13 Furniture Network Solutions arrived at my house and completed the installation of my bed.Kenny was professional & understanding. He answered my calls & emails. But the level of incompetency post purchase was something not seen by me in a long time. For a store that charges the prices they do, it is not expected or acceptable.I requested a $$$ credit and Stickley refunded approx 15% of the price as compensation for the inconveniences but it was not enough for me to ever shop there again. If you do shop there do not buy anything that needs to be delivered.
Outstanding experience at Stickley. Worked with Matthew Perreira on ordering a new bed today. He was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and went out of his way to track down the bed in a facility upstate, which turned out to be discontinued and not easily available. He was also an absolute pleasure to speak with, and full of helpful design advice -- he has a masters in furniture history and it shows! I would not hesitate to go back and work with him again.Editing to add: Matthew was so excellent, and we liked the bed so much, that we went back two more times to find additional furniture for our bedroom.
I want to compliment the store manager Kenny. I had an issue with my parents order from over 10 years ago, and Kenny took the time to find the order and tell me what they purchased and next steps. He was so patient and attentive during this stressful time. He is an asset to your company!!

Stickley is pricey. But you cannot beat their quality. Their furniture should last a lifetime and it has good resale value. I found a bed that i really liked that was being discontinued. I spoke to Barbara B on the phone who was so lovely and she convinced me to come into the store. She really took the time to sit down with me and show me options (as the bed I really wanted was out of my price rangebut she worked so hard and stayed a half hour late (which it seemed her boss was a bit annoyed withShe worked so hard in getting me all of the information which had been incorrect on the website! I finally decided to go with the more pricey bed because she was really lovely and convinced me that this bed would never cross my path again and in my heart I knew she was right! if you go to the this store, ask for Barbara.Update: my bed has not arrived. I was originally told 20 weeks, then told end of September beginning of October- hurry up abd go buy your mattress as it takes 6 weeks. End of September I’m told by Stickley December or January and I was the one who called and asked about it. Very frustrating.
Excellent and careful assistance and follow through. Very good advice and took interest in my design project. Would be happy to work with him again at any time.
Everything about this experience was positive. I worked with Grace Murray who has a keen eye and is a wealth of information. During a pandemic when delivery times are exceptionally long, her honesty and willingness to go the extra mile was truly appreciated. She guided me during three trips to the store until I felt comfortable with my purchase. Grace tailored her advice to what I personally needed. Instead of being anxious, I finally got excited. She sent delivery men to do a "Survey" -- measurements to make sure pieces would fit in the elevator and through the door. This is a great service. We will wait longer than usual for delivery due to supply chain issues but so is the rest of the country. Visit Stickley Furniture/Mattress on West 25th Street. You will be treated well and their sales are amazing!
Alfred was very attentive and patient in showing us sofa and chairs. He answered all our questions and when he didn’t have an answer, promised to get back to us. Very professional and not aggressive in trying to finalize a sale.

She had wonderful suggestions and taught us about the important considerations when it comes to purchasing furniture. You cant go wrong with Stickley Audi & Co. their craftsmanship is terrific.

Our salesman, Al, was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in assisting us to decide on a console table for our 1889 home in Brooklyn. Because there were not many samples on the floor he printed out images of the tables we liked on the website to help us make a decision which we were able to do with his help.
Mr. Santana was very helpful in showing me what was available.But there was some confusion regarding price.

I have purchased lots of items in the last 2 to 3 years and always very happy. My salesman Alfred Santanahas always been very helpful and knows his merchandise very well. He also gave me great advice when I was looking to buy a new sofa. I decided to purchase a leather soft for the first time but was a little skeptical. I have twocats and thought they would destroy the sofa but they didn’t. Alfred assured me that wouldn’t be a problem and he was right. Would shop at Stickley Audi and Co again.Frances R.
Barbara Borkin went way beyond what people normally do for their customers. From the beginning she helped us with everything, which was a great amount because we are furnishing a new house. She knew just the right furniture that we would love. She was there for us and went the extra mile to find out about anything we needed and everything we asked. She is a gem!
I got rid of my television stand and an old couch and had room to purchase two couches. I looked at Stickley furniture and saw a lot of options. At this time, the Stickley stores were closed from the pandemic and had to rely on Ms. Abate as a liaison to walk me through pricing and options. With her help, I was able to settle on a leather Maitland sofa and a Cora Studio sofa. I had to wait until the stores were allowed to reopen, to select final options because there are a lot of options, like selecting the pattern of the pillows, and the choice of metal studs on the leather sofa. When I finally received the couches several months later, I was quite surprised about the quality. The leather was supple and the Cora sofa upholstery I selected in a burgundy/wine color made the living room come alive and was not at all garish. The salesman in Manhattan that I made the final selections with was professional and had a lot of patience. I dont know if I could buy all my furniture at Stickley because its not inexpensive, but its nice to have at least a few pieces of the best quality furniture that is high quality and will last for many years. Highly recommended!
Sheri was wonderful to work with. Very accommodating and friendly. We pretty much knew what we wanted so we didn’t need a lot of help but also appreciated that we were not pressured to buy anything else. There was a great sale which made our Stickley rug affordable for us. They have such beautiful things. Can’t tell you anything about the specific product because I haven’t received it yet.
In addition to having beautiful investment worthy furniture, Sickley has amazing employees!Over the years Ive always been happy with the assistance provided when shopping or browsing at the Stickley showrooms. Now, with the showrooms closed, I was especially impressed with the friendly, genuine and knowledgeable assistance I received online through chats and emails. New chairs for an old oak table? Harder than I thought it would be. Ended up with a quality set of chairs from Stickley Audi in NYC that were a great match. Much appreciation to sales rep Hank, who was super helpful, patient and had really detailed product knowledge. From reception to the delivery team it was a pleasure to deal with Stickley.

I had an old stickley dining table refinished by stickley. The table was in awful shape right down to red glitter nail polish that one of the kids got on it. I decided to refinish and wanted to deepen the stain to match new dining chairs. What came back to me exceeded my wildest expectations. The table is gorgeous. More beautiful than when new. The darker stain not only matches my chairs perfectly but picks up all the lovely grains in the wood. I could not be happier.
I’ve owned Hubberton lamps for more than sixteen years, occasionally a three way switch will need replacing. All it takes to get a new one is a call to the Stickley Audi store of purchase and within days a replacement is sent directly from the factory. I couldn’t be more pleased with their caring and prompt service.

She has exquisite taste and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. So.... I went back and bought chairs for my dining room. This is furniture worth the wait. The quality of design and craftsmanship is what makes it really special. While its not inexpensive, it is fantastic quality. Also, Hank, the designer we worked with, was very patient with us and gave exceptional advice. Ive been a "fan" of Gustave Stickleys designs since I first saw his work in The Mets furniture gallery, and I so happy that I finally decided to splurge a little.
My experience at Stickley was wonderful. The product is amazing and the pricing is very reasonable for such high quality craftsmanship. Everyone was very patience and accommodating. Grace Murray was particularly helpful in working out my specific needs. After I left the showroom she followed up with detailed information that made my decision making process a breeze. I will be back for more!
I cant speak more highly of my shopping experience with Stickley in Manhattan. I needed to replace a well loved but 20 year old sofa from one of their top of the line competitors. I went to several different showrooms and probably sat in 30 different sofas. I wanted a sofa of a particular width but needed one of a specific depth and Hank was the only salesperson who understood my needs and guided me to the right type of models . He never tried to steer me to something that would not fit my needs and was very patient as I sat in and fussed about the choices. I was very impressed with the quality of the materials and choices and when I was ready to make my purchase Hank went over all the custom options and fabrics allowing me to create a unique piece perfect for my needs. My experience at Stickley was first class all around, even the delivery by Ronaldo and his crew. I could not be more satisfied.
Our entire experience has been 5 star. Initially we ordered a bedroom set and we were so pleased, we are now redecorating our living room. Working with Grace has been wonderful!

Customer service above an beyond...I was concerned about which stain to pick, knowing that the store studio lighting was much different from my home lighting, and the furniture would look completely different in another setting. A manager came to my home and showed me options and we came up with a design I was very happy with. I Bought two customized pieces in the Harvey Ellis line, and this upgrade was reasonable and everything I hoped it would be. The furniture is amazing. Extraordinarily well crafted. And even the delivery team was friendly and helpful. Setting things up exactly as I asked and seemed to take pride in their work as well.Well done, Stickley!
I got a new home and bought all my new furniture at Stickley. It was the best thing I could have done. The furniture looks simply magnificent; it’s the finest quality furniture in America.
Sherry from Stickley could not have been more helpful!! I was referred to Stickley from Bernhardt’s website, during my quest to find a replacement door pull for a 30-year-old armoire. While Sherry was ultimately not able to locate one, she conducted an exhaustive search and called me weekly with updates. It’s nice to see such old-fashioned customer service these days!! Highly recommended.

Overpriced and annoying salespeople that follow you around the store
I love Stickley. They will always be the standard for high quality furniture. All American made. Thousands of design options. Seriously, the fabric room is ridiculous. They also will design for you if you feel lost, and of course that service is complimentary.

I bought about $16,000+ worth of furniture here two or so years ago. Among my purchases was a couch, which has been a major nuisance. It has down-filled cushions in chenille, It looked so, so bad--crinkley, wrinkley--just awful. I called the shop to speak with a representative. She told me that I should hit the cushions against a brick wall to get them looking better. Chenille and down seem to behave this way. I invested about $400 to add Dacron to it and to have the cushions reshaped. It helped a tiny bit. This has been a super disappointing purchase--just three years--no kids--no dogs. When I purchased some outdoor furniture from Crate & Barrel and called to express dissatisfaction with it--they asked me to photograph it and picked it up and provided me with a shop card for credit. The Stickleys rep said that this was pretty much a learning experience for me. They dont stand by their products--I would shop where you can feel confident that problems will be resolved.
I had an amazing experience with Stickleys. They really stand behind their products. Their selection is great and love the staff there, including the manager. A class act.
