Stringers Body Shop completes high-quality body work. However, they could be more transparent regarding their policies and estimated time of completion.

Have had work done here several times over the years. Always a good experience. Ed Stringer runs a tight ship. Very clean, professional, friendly business. Never had any issues with work that weve had done here. I highly recommend Stringers Body Shop.

I dealt with Ed about 12 years ago on a restoration with my rare Volkswagen and it was perfect.They currently have my White Jeep Grand Cherokee. I am expecting perfect work just like I had in the past. They are the best around. I will post my completed results on the local Jeep forums on Facebook. I will revise this review if needed.

I am from Orange County, New York and moved to Oneonta in 2012. The first time i needed body work living here was in December of 2017, and having not been from the area and was incredibly unsure of who I could trust to do this work. I also would like to point out I am incredibly particular about where I bring my business, I always take my time and try to scrutinize. Based on the reviews I took a chance on Stringers and will look no further. These people cover all the bases. Fair price, quality work, and warm service. My car was completed quicker than the estimate, for cheaper than it would have been anywhere else, and they were so pleasant and helpful along the way I was actually surprised by how friendly they were. In fact, my car had a cosmetic issue that was nothing related to why I brought it in and they did a patch job free of charge and it looks fantastic. And they did all of this the week between Christmas and New Years. Seriously, If you want to deal with someone who is going to care about you and your vehicle this is where everyone needs to go. You just do not find this level of care in a business anymore, and for that I award them the highest recommendation I can give.

Good old-fashioned business ethics... Courteous, friendly, reliable, quick, and efficient. I called them on a Monday, dropped my car off two days later, and picked it up in brand-new condition on Thursday of the same week. It doesnt get any better than that! Thank you!!!

Ed Stringer and his crew do absolutely fantastic bodywork. Ive had to take my car in twice for some work (retread on the highway tearing up the front end, and hitting a concrete parking bollard), and both times it has come back factory-immaculate! Eds is the only shop my wife and I will take our cars now.

These guys didnt even know us and they helped us out greatly! If you need any body work done they are the people to go to. The owner called us every step of the way and even called us a head of time to let us know it would be done by Friday. Just all around great people to work with!!
