Super 8 by Wyndham Oneonta/Cooperstown in Otsego County

The Super 8 was the only place with availability at the time, the Bed was comfortable and room was clean. My only concerns were the dimly lit parking lot set back off the road and walking on the old carpet.Staff was friendly and accommodating.

This place is very clean and the rooms are nice. Very convenient to college so perfect for visiting.

The handicap room I got for my parents was not as handicap accessible for the bathrrom/shower than I would have liked. There was only one handicap parking spot and a vehicle was parked in front of the ramp for my dad to use. That area should have painted lines/ no parking. The faucet to my sink was leaking (225).

Hotel was nice and clean, however upon leaving they charged us $2 for a tiny stain on a wash cloth! Haha, I guess they are hard up for cash…….bleach people, bleach. I would’ve given a 5 star review if weren’t for the ridiculousness of their request.

Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was limited

Dont let the name fool you. This was a perfect option for a last minute reservation. This hotel is located on a main road with a wide variety of restaurants. In addition to being situated right behind Dennys. The staff were cordial and helpful. My room was updated and clean. I was only in town for one night, but I felt comfortable. Due to Covid, no hot breakfast, just grab and go. If I have to come back to the Oneonta area, I will definitely stay there again.

Good clean hotel. Reasonably Priced even during peak season. No complaints. Gets the job done ✅.

Great place for an overnight stay. The bed was *really* comfortable. (Might be we need a change.)

Dont be fooled, place is clean and well kept. Towels are soft. Bed is comfortable. Place is a bargain and right in the middle of all of the stores. Right near the major highway and convenient.

This super 8 is clean with good/friendly staff. The room I stayed in was well kept, clean and stocked with the normal amenities you would find in a hotel room. I would recommend this hotel to any one.

Friendly staff, clean and comfy room with fridge and microwave. Storm knocked out power at my house during cold weather and they are one of the few pet friendly hotels in the area. Was able to bring my husky with me and get a first floor room next to an exterior door for potty breaks. Very happy with my stay. Kiana liked it, too!

Staff is super friendly and remembers you. You can see they are updating this hotel- beds are super comfortable- I’ll be staying here again and again when in the area. Close to many conveniences.

Do not let the outside appearance deceive you. Rooms have been updated and are comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The lobby needs to be updated, but it doesnt affect the comfort of the rooms. Internet worked well. Water pressure was good (better than most hotelsand the shower remained hot throughout. They are pet friendly and costs are reasonable. I recommend staying here if passing by the area and in need of a place to rest. Dennys right next door.

As always our stay at a Super 8 was wonderful. The women working at the desk at check in and checkout were both friendly and helpful when we had a question. We will continue to only stay at Super 8s for our trips, weve never had a bad experience.

I have never booked or never would have generally chosen to book at a super 8 , mainly because I am just unfamiliar with the brand and used to staying at larger hotels with more amenities but it was the only place that had availability (during college drop off weekafter we cancelled our previous room at The Clarion hotel right after check in because it was filthy and unsafe.So so glad we did. Super clean! Wood tiled floors throughout and basic room amenities. The bed was comfortable and clean as were the bathrooms. Shower worked perfectly as well. The location is across the street from the main shopping center/mall , there is a Denny’s right out front and many other dining options within the immediate area, SUNY oneonta and hartwick college are 7 mins away . We paid about 180 for the room including the taxes. This saved us 100 dollars on the room we cancelled at the clarion and Also felt like a good deal for a last minute booking at 6pm for the same day. Generally speaking That is a higher price point than should be for this hotel but was glad to pay it for a clean safe place to stay. Linda, the front desk manager could not have been more pleasant or helpful! We even booked here for our future family weekend stay!

I paid 212$ for a room here the bed was super uncomfortable have slept on mats in the county jail that had more cushion. Woke up tried to take a hot shower let it run for 15 minutes and at the most it got lukewarm I went to tell them about it and the employee who was working had to come check because apparently I cant tell the difference between hot and cold worst Wyndham hotel Ive ever stayed at hands down. The lady who checked me in was very helpful and kind on a positive note

Unfortunately I felt overcharged. There was a bad smell in the lobby and in the room. The staff was unprofessional in several instances, more senior staff laid into a new staff in my sons presence which made him feel uncomfortable. They advertise breakfast included but it was a bare bones continental breakfast, mini yogurt, mini muffins and fruit. I wish I only paid $50 a night for this room instead of $140.

Faucet had to be pulled with all your strength to turn on the water for a shower. Rooms smell musty/mildewy. Coffee pot in the bathroom is disgusting so we could not use it. Needs a wardrobe closet. Breakfast is a joke. Just go to Dennys. It also ends too early. The rate is robbery for the service and accomodations. Doors need an anti-slam mechanism.What was pleasant is the location shops and restaurants all around. Also, the workers are kind.

Good room and clean bathroom. Overall great hotel for the price. 2 issues that prevents a 5 star review.#1. Employee at desk was new and didnt even know how to assign the proper room, after about 20 minutes she had to call a manager to ask. After a long drive from Indiana I was ready to call it a day.#2. Room was cold when I went in. I know it saves electricity to turn off the heat when not occupied but it was close to freezing last night and wasnt in the mood to once again wait for the room to warm up to get a shower.All in all, no major issues and I would consider staying there again.

Ive always been extremely happy with all my stays at Super 8. This one was no different. Room was very clean as well as bed linens. Beds and pillows were comfy. My only issue is that it supposedly is a no smoking facility. As soon as I walked in to check in it smelled very strongly of cigarettes as well as the hallway leading to my room. Room did not smell at all. Overall I had yet another great experience at a Super 8 hotel.
