Clean, not bad for the price

We found this place because all the hotels in San Antonio were booked. It was clean the neighborhood seemed ok. Nothing too scary. Staff were super friendly. The rooms do have a retro feel but I love that. Decent restaurant next door that my family enjoyed. Will be staying here more often. Its outside doors so park in front of rooms. Too cold to use outdoor pool. Upstairs people had some kids so we heard the stomping.

Great people, great breakfast

We were returning back to Austin from Corpos christy and unfortunately our wheel got punctured which forced us to look for a stay. We got the motel reference while browsing and when we went there we had a feel of relief after a tiresome trip and it was tidy and clean with nice breakfast. The next day was a labour day and we didn’t get our wheel issue sorted out when we were in a dilemma what to do as we are not totally feeling good with traveling with spare wheel, at the same time Jaye Patel from the office offered a great helping hand to fix the wheel himself without any expectations. We always feel grateful to him and really thank him for the extended help

The staff is always wonderful. The room was musty like they cleaned the carpet and turned the ac off to soon but otherwise great.

Great staff and Breakfast.

This place was sketchy at best. We went to our room and the carpet was pretty nasty and I saw a couple spiders around but we figured we would make do, until I tried to turn on the light over the sink and in the bathroom and neither worked! So we went to the front desk and they gave us another room, which smelled awful. The carpet was worse than the first one, there was hair all in the bedding and make up smudged onto the pillow cases. We ended up leaving and going to the studio 6 in town, which was fantastic. For the same price you can go there and have good customer service and a clean room with a large TV and fridge.

Worst hotel ever ... they book you at one price and when you checkin they charge you $20 more for the night plus a $100 so called deposit that wont be back in ur card until after 10 business days ... never again am I staying here

Clean, decent pricing and close to everything you need including a 24hr convienant store.

The first room we had, 112, had a white stain on the bedspread & a pair of mens underware on the bathroom floor, behind the door! Our 2nd room 110, had to have the T.V. fixed, & there was dirt on the toilet seat. Both were fixed, & we had a very pleasant rest of the night.

Id rate just above a 3.5. Room was clean and didnt feel cramped. No issues checking in. Key card always worked (thats a small pet peeve of mine). Breakfast always stocked. Compared to the Microtel down the road, the Super 8 looks a bit worse in the outside but nicer inside.No elevators if youre on second level.

The room was affordable, clean, and plenty big enough for our one-night stay. We stayed here as an alternative to spending five times as much for a room in San Antonio. Its about a 40-minute drive into the city.

It was the worst experience weve ever had...Our room was apparently next to owners rooms, they burned a heavy noxious incense ALL NIGHT LONG..we stuffed tissue all around connecting door. It was in our hair, clothing. The pool was nothing but green algea slime, cement sidewalk to it was busted up..I took pics...we could not get a refund to go anywhere else. If u want to see them go to my Facebook ..RUN ...DONT look back.

The room was clean, the king bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and the hot breakfast was yummy.

We checked in close to midnight on the 17th, with an out of state id, paid cash was told they need a card or 100 deposit for incidentals, used my card as I planned on departing early. Got up and left before 8a.m. at 10:40 a.m. I received a phone call from them that stated, "why did you take our pillows? I am going to have to charge your card for them!"" I stated, oh no your not charging my card, I do not have your pillows, I will be back over there, she then took phone away and said to someone else, she is coming back." On my way I filed a complaint with corporate on my drive back. They stated it was franchised and couldnt offer any refunds, I told them I wasnt looking for one, but felt they were running a racket, out of state licenses, knew we pulled out early, extra monies in their pocket.,Upon returning my key was still activated I used it to open door went in and there were 4 pillows on the 2 beds, I was furious, they said there were to be 3 on each bed, I called local police department, they arrived, even police said there was no inventory list for customer to check, he would have thought 2 pillows for each bed was the normal.I went to office to return key, I wanted my card information they had copied she stated not unless I call corporate and tell them my complaint was a mistake!! No way,Wouldnt recommend if your from out of state unless your staying close for several hours after leaving, watch your charges, on all cards!!I also, showed the maid some filthy mud on foot board and dust ruffel of bed along with the back side of bathroom door, stains on carpet, but it was only room I could find, was dead tired, a lil dirt hurts no one. But bad customer service and communication skills with the owners wife leaves an awful taste for ever staying there again!

Great service clean rooms

The exterior may look older but the interior is beautiful. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The large wall paintings are beautiful. Nice colorful rooms. Peaceful. The grounds are maintained and the housekeepers do an an excellent job.

I was considering making this a go to place because it was a pretty comfortable stay. What refrains me from leaving a better review was the rude house keepers. We had a lot going on, quite a few things of luggage and our toddler. It was raining and because of the weather conditions our ride was a few minutes late past check-out. You would think the employees would be kind and want to give us an all around pleasant experience by letting us stay for what literally was five more minutes or mention the lobby to us but no. My husband asked the house keepers if it would be okay if we chilled inside the room just a few moments longer since our ride was delayed. And the guy straight up snapped at him rudely and said “no! You need to get out! Now!” I was appalled.We took all of our stuff out and had it on the outside of the room and then our ride came shortly after that. So it’s not a big deal that we had to wait outside. It was that we experienced an extremely rude response when reaching out and asking to wait in our room just a few more minutes after check out as opposed to waiting outside. So definitely not going back here again

Why can’t we give 0 stars. Very nasty room. There was blood all over the bathroom door and that area and blood on one of the pillows. Will NEVER recommend this place. Bathroom had mold on the the walls and smelt like raw sewage.

Great place to stay. Rooms are nice and staff is friendly. Love the beds. Overall its a really nice place for the price. Also, they have a ice cream vending machine out front. So awesome.

Rooms ok, internet not good. Pool is horrendous!!!!!! Algae covering the bottom, water green, and staff said it is working????

Beds are super comfortable , and staff is great i had reserved online and when i got there they did the best to help me get two connecting rooms. Only thing was room ac took a while close to 30 min to cool the room .

Very nice, very clean and accommodating. We were in a tight spot after hurricane harvey but they came through for us and we appreciate that.

Stayed overnight, the room was standard fare, nicely decorated, but there were bugs on the floor, and the tap water tasted funny.

Love the breakfast lunch and dinner that they provided when I needed directions to certain locations they helped me out tremendously I would highly recommend these hotels to anyone if they needed to stay somewhere but still feel like they would in there own home

Clean and Very Friendly Service!Our experience was very, very good. Very friendly and accommodating on check in. Allowed us to see a room before we stayed. Non-smoking room smelled very clean and fresh, carpets were like new, clean refrigerator, air conditioner ran very quiet. Wi-Fi worked well, Bed was very comfortable with pretty clean sheets.
