So much to choose from! But very expensive!!

I have the fondest memories of going here as a child (as do my sistersand on a recent trip back to WI we were able to bring our own children here and they absolutely LOVED their visit there. I talked with the owner and she was touched that we have new generations now visiting her shoppe and such happy family memories there. We love this place! It is a must do if you have kids!

Absolutely love the atmosphere. Had three people with who havent been to a candy store before and I loved it. My favorite was dancing to the piano!!!

Fun place with a huge variety of candy. A little pricey, but what isnt nowdays?

Theres a bit of a wait at the counters and registers since they are very short staffed, but everyone there did their best to keep up with the orders and maintain professional and cheery attitudes. This is not a good place to go if you have an appointment to go to afterward though since it is HUGE, and could easily take half hour to an hour or more to explore and see everything in there. And its a good idea to give yourself plenty of time every time you go, not just the first, because they are always getting different things in there. Wether candy or gift items, they undoubtedly have something for everyone who stops in there.

A must stop in Lakewood. Fudge is delicious. Unique candies as well as the traditional.

Its a candy store that seems to never end and theyve seemingly got it all. Taffy, hard candy, chocolates, ice cream, and more. My kids love it.

We have visited Sweet Memories multiple times over the years, and every visit has been wonderful! We recommend a stop here to all of our Airbnb guests; and without fail, they dont regret their visit! The selection of goodies is so abundant; the environment, very clean; and the atmosphere, such fun!

Looking for nostalgic candy, this is the place. They also have ice cream, homemade treats like fudge and truffles. And some gifts. The building goes on and on. There are 2 floors. Nice little stop for the family or while on a road trip (with the girls / guys).

Not from the area but it will be a must stop every time I go up to visit my family. They have it all candy ice cream 🍦 fudge and toys!!! Seeing my sons eyes light up when he seen all that offered was priceless.

Its just plain magic here. You have to walk around and take it all in. Its worth the trip just to walk around and see all the stuff you just cant find anywhere else.

Love this candy shop. I literally told my grandkids that it looks like Willy Wonka threw up in the shop. Then they were so excited about going and it is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We went up to our trailer on Thursday. Bummed wouldnt even cover it.

A lot bigger place then I was expecting! Many options of candy to choose from that brought back some great childhood memories. The drawback was the crowds of people that made it hard to see everything and the long wait time in lines. Great for their business, but not great for the customers trying to maintain social distancing.

Love this sweet candy shop. They have everything here icecream, handmade fudge, jelly belly jelly beans, truffles and chocolate, hard candy, taffy, sugar free candy, also old school hard to find candy, gifts and toys! Something for everyone!They also have a working classic Coke bottle machine that thats quarters ($2?).

This is a great store - sort of a hidden gem in the middle of the north woods. They have an amazing variety of candy, fresh chocolates, fudge and hard ice cream. Great experience to have with family from kids to grandparents. The everyday candy is a better buy at the grocery store, so I only get the candy here that I cant find elsewhere. If your in the area, you should definitely stop buy.

I have only been here once, but I loved the experience! There were so many choices of candy and sweets for very low prices. I totally recommend going there!

This place is a must visit!! You have to stop here when in the area! It is huge and has a wonderful selection of all sorts of candy from hand made chocolate to old fashioned taffy and they serve chocolate shoppe ice cream which is an added bonus. Expect to find a crowd and spend some time enjoying the large selection and different rooms filled with candy, fudge, chocolate, toys, games, handmade home decor and baking mixes. Highly recommend!

Been going here since I was a child. I have brought my kids here many times. Its grown over the years. You can find all types of candy here from old to new. Fudge and ice cream as well. Must stop if your in the area.

They have a wide variety of candy and chocolate. The staff are lovely people and very helpful. My favorite part was the ice cream. It was absolutely delicious. I wish I could get it in my home state.

This place has a ton of different candies! Lots of things youd expect to find, but also their own chocolates and fudges.Besides the candy, they also carry toys, puzzles, Christmas ornaments, and a variety of other things.Like most candy stores weve been to, the prices are kind of steep, but we have been to other shops with higher prices.Worth stopping in, but eat something first or you may lose all self control, lol.Theres a Pokestop here too, for the Go players.

Very cute place. Tons of choices in the candy and the kiddos and husband loved being able to pick our their own treats. The ice cream was also very good and not overly sweet. Will visit again! Any of the salted chocolates are a must try!

Visited 2 years ago with my wonderful family the staff was awesome. My 3 children also had a good time at sweet memories candy shoppe. There is lots of selections to choose from games for children and adults also gifts

Can you say love. Oh man... the ice cream is amazing and the walls are filled with candy. Staff is very friendly (especially the older woman who is behind the counter)! Its clean and the regulars are very nice.

This is a destination place in Lakewood. It is a real candy land. We cannot be in the area without making a pilgrimage there. They have a good Covid 19 plan in place. Felt safe.

I would travel up to lakewood with my aunt and every time we would come up there we would always stop at this candy store. My aunt passed away from cancer about a year ago and Im planning on coming back up there soon to revisit. I want to thank Sweet Memories for bringing my family closer togeather so that we could make happy memories ❤ I highly recommend this shop to anyone visiting Lakewood it is a very wonderful place!

What CAN you say about a shoppe filled with candy? YUM! Lots of choices to make...way too many to eat! BUT....worth every penny spent on all sorts of fun candies! Great memories! Saucers are still my favorites, besites chocolates and Jelly Bellies! Etc! Enjoy!

Not inexpensive, but an absolute must see if in the Lakewood area. Remember all the fun candies of your youth? Well, theyre here! Theres an entire room of Jelly Bellies, as well as home made chocolates, an ice cream parlor and just about every great candy you can imagine. A fun place for kids of all ages.

Wines are OK.I wish the people working there were more friendly to their patrons and would help you select some wines to try. We asked a few times "what do you recommend" and they would only tell us how many kinds of wine they had.

Love this place. Go out of our way to get there. It has so much to offer, so many different rooms and levels its an adventure for anyone, any age. And do they have sweets!!!! Looking for candy from the past, they probably have it!!!! It is truly worth the trip to go out of your way to visit 👍👍👍

Love this place! They have the candy we had growing up, the candy my parents had growing up, and the candy my kids had growing up... even Black Jack gum right now!They also have gifts, taffy, fudge, chocolates, toys, and ice cream.Its a wonderful place to visit for kids and grown-up kids!

I absolutely loved this little gem! So much to choose from and even fun toys for kids. I found many things to bring home to kids and grandkids. I really felt like I was in a magical place until I got to the cash register. I normally base my score, heavily, on how the customer service was. If I were to do that the score would be 1 star. I loved this place so much that I just cant rate it low. You need to check it out and just pray that the staff are feeling a little "sweeter" than they were when I visited.

Always a fun place to take the grandkids. They have the type of candy I got when I was a kid. Many choices. Several rooms of candy, fudge, chocolates, and ice cream.

There was an absolutely awesome selection of candies, treats, and souvenirs. We showed up thinking the store was much smaller than it actually was. We were pleasantly surprised. Delicious treats, fair prices, happy kids. Well definitely be back the next time were through Lakewood!

This is a very nice place. It was clean and the employees were very friendly. They are a little pricey but I expect as much. Our kids love going here and picking out some goodies! My son LOVE the train😊 we bought ice cream too. They had some interesting flavors to choose from. This place is huge, so make sure you check out the upstairs too!
