We had tried to sell our property with several different Real Estate Brokers over the years and had even listed with a Broker from a larger market out of town. Years had passed, and we were so disappointed to have no offers even after a price reduction. Then, we called Sam and Deborah. They put up their Auction Sign and the bidding began. We received a bid price we wanted and closed on the property in less than 6 weeks for cash. It was an easy and simple transaction and they took care of everything.
After trying to sell our house by owner for about 6 monthsWe got a contract that fell through. We were so disappointedand exhausted. We First met Sam and Deborah in 1992 and our plans changed and decided to keep our house a while. We called Sam and Deborahback and they put us in their auction program. In 2 days we receive a bidthat was what we needed and closed in 10 days for Cash! No Home Inspection. We sold as is. We Were So happy and at ease!We highly recommend Swift Real Estate/Swift Auction Specialists! It felt like working with Friends!Randall and Sarah Moxley
Wonderful people to work with, always willing to help and give advise.
I have been trying to reach this business since January 27th. I first spoke with Deborah on the 27th briefly in which I told her I was interested in a property they had listed in Dobson. She told me she was driving in traffic and would return my call "after dark" that evening. I never heard from her so I called again on January 31st and left a voicemail. I called a second time the afternoon on the 31st with still no answer. I called and left another message on February 4th with still no response. I called again today February 18th after still never hearing back. FINALLY my calls were returned today and she told me she did not know what I was talking about and that she didnt recall missing any calls from me. I tried to ask questions about the property we were interested in and received very demeaning and brief answers. She spoke to me as if I did not know what I was talking about and would not give me any helpful information on the property. This business gave us a very bad experience and has lost the business of a cash buyer who was prepared to make a cash offer on the property. Very bad experience.
Miss Deborah was very cordial and helpful with all my questions. Definitely recommend her or her husband for your real estate needs!
Sam and Deborah are like family to me and my family. With all of the stress and grief that happens as we get older in life, Sam and Deborah stepped in and took over helping us prepare the house to be market ready and stayed with us through the entire process, updating us often. We greatly thank Swift Real Estate for their dedication. We highly recommend their services.
Due to some economic hardships in the family, we ended up with a house that we didnt intend to have. Not knowing much about what to do, we called on Swift Realtors to help us. They suggested some simple and affordable updates and changes to insure a fast turn around. We thank the Swifts for their knowledge and expertise and helping us deal with our situation quickly and professionally.
Deborah and Sam Swift were wonderful to work with. They understood completely what we were looking for and worked professionally and diligently until my dream house was found.Once found, they were there though every step of the negotiations and inspections. Truly wonderful, caring people and superior realtors.
in addition to the review by Hannah I was looking at the contract that sam wanted me to sign and make an offer on this property and while the seller was there i started reading the print and asking how was a 15% buyers premium going to add any value to the property and i ask sam just how much was the seller paying to list the property and he told me in front of the seller it was none of my business. we refused to sign anything and left ,then he told the seller that we didnt have the money anyway. Two days later Deborah called and was demanding that i fill out the bid form and I horse laughed at her demands let her finish with her demands and threats of suing us for looking at the property under false Prentice. The next day i called my attorney and as soon as i told him who i was dealing with he said that is just how she gets people hooked and that if she called me again that we would file our own charges. The problem i had was 15% buyer premium that ADDED NO VALUE TO THE HOME!And then the disrespect i received from sam cause i ask him infront of the seller Just How much are you making from this sale for doing nothing? I would be embarrassed too charging a seller almost 25% for doing nothing .People do some research a good realtor doesnt have these BS auctions that run over and over resetting them selfs over and over. With the swift system the online auction just keeps starting over till someone meets the reserve then comes he buyer premium, if you have an extra 20-40k that you do not need then swift will be glad to take it.Please do yourself a favor and go with a realtor that does not use this auction, and be ware of the 2 year evergreen self renewing contract that can get slipped in for a seller .october 30 we closed on our dream farm and the thanks goes to Basin creek and wilkes homes not deb the bull dog
I just read the previous review and couldnt disagree more. Deborah and Sam sold my Elkin house in record speed and I have found them to be fair, polite and caring people. My current house is also listed with them. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
I dont even want to give this person ONE star. Everyone had warned me that she is TERRIBLE to work with. A friend I have known for years had a property for sale and my husband and I were looking for a property. He told me he had signed a contract through Swift and I would have to contact Deborah or Sam. We had been working with our own realtor. Deborah refused to let OUR realtor show the property, and told us all she would NOT split the commission with him. Instead she said she would show us the property. Our realtor understood and agreed he would rather lose money than deal with her. He did tell us to read the fine print because they are sneaky. That turned out to be more than accurate. We get there and Deborah doesnt even show up, instead sends Sam. They dont even have the key. Property owners uncle shows up to let us in to view. Sam tries to push us to sign paperwork, thankfully we had read, where they would be our realtor for purchasing a home (remember we already had a realtor). Then they say this property is up for auction until the end of the month. We were very interested in the property, but (thankful for reading fine printfound out they were charging 8-15% buyers premium, wanted a check THAT DAY for 10 % I believe, for "lawyer fees" that would be made out to Deborah. Lawyer fees are never that expensive! Also was going to make 8% commission from seller. We simply told them we would wait until the "auction" was over at the end of month. She called us at 9pm, was degrading, had told the owners that we "didnt have money anyway" and was threatening to sue us for "viewing a house under false pretenses" and then yelled at us for calling her at 9pm... when she had called us. I do NOT recommend this realty company, if she even has her license anymore. This is 100% true, I have records and witnesses and I guarantee she will threaten AGAIN to sue us. All has ended well for us though, we bought our farm and are living happily, and the best part is this troll didnt get a penny from us!
Very helpful and very caring
