My daughter who has never liked water or swimming is learning to love it. She doesn’t cry in the bath or shower anymore and isn’t afraid of getting her head wet. I feel like swim labs has been worth every penny so far and the teachers are wonderful!

My kids have been going here for a few weeks now and they absolutely love it. Their instructor Callie had them doing things the first class that I hadn’t been able to get them to do with years of trying. I was blown away. The individualized little pools are perfect too, and you can watch your kids through the windows or on the TV screens in the lobby. Love this place!

We love Swim Labs! My 5 year old is way more confident in the water and he looks forward to coming every week. I have a VERY stubborn 2 year old who doesn’t want to do anything in the water, but the instructors, particularly Abby, have been SO patient and encouraging with him. We love Swim Labs!

If you care about the safety of your toddler and want them to swim safely (finding the edge, flipping onto their back), this is NOT the place to go.Weve been going here for six months so our 3 year old could learn these skills but there were THREE separate instances where our son Awas dunked without warning or Bslipped under water because the teenager "instructing" wasnt paying attention to all of his students. Cwasnt kept with the same instructor (building confidence in the instructor). When we cancelled our classes, the teens didnt care for the reasons we were cancelling or making it right.Look elsewhere if you want your child to learn the fundamentals of staying afloat and enjoying the water.

My kids are in the the SwimJam program and they learned more in the first 4 days from Brody than they did in months of swim lessons at the rec center. Totally worth it to pay a little extra for the lessons. In the long run it would end up being cheaper than sticking with the rec centers!

First time there and the 3rd place I am taking my toddler to learn how to swim. Place is not too big or too busy. Personal friendly but had some communication problems which were resolved after I asked them to double check. They have 4 small pools. The place was cozy . It was hard to see inside as the pools are high. They have everything you need for a place like this lobby, changing area, a little store, restrooms and showers.

The teachers, staff and small class sizes. They focused on techniques and kept the kids engaged. I’m grateful for what my child learned and how it provided her a foundation to move on toward her goal to be part of a swim team. Thank you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Bringing my 9-year old, competitive swimmer, to Swimlabs for weekly private lessons has been the single BEST decision Ive made for him!!Words cannot  accurately express just how much he absolutely LOVES this program! He speaks of his coaches with so much love and enthusiasm. In fact, after his last meet he literally told everyone how his coach Kyle from Swimlabs was going to be proud of him!  His excitment in wanting to include his Swimlabs coach in his success made this Mamas heart burst!! 💖His focus, stroke technique, and race times have improved greatly.   But more importantly, his confidence in himself and in his ability has absolutely exploded!! 💥I have tremendous respect and gratitude for the time, energy, and passion the coaches put into their coaching here at Swimlabs.Needless to say, we absolutely LOVE this program and recommend it to all swim-team kids. 100%!!!

Today was my kids’ first semi-private lesson. We checked in at the desk and were immediately given a tour of the facility. While we waited for our lesson time, my kids enjoyed watching Disney videos. When they were called back for their lesson, my son and daughter were instructed to place their towels, masks and flip-flops in the cubby area and then rinse off in the shower. The pools are warm and comfortable. From the waiting room, I could tell my kids were having a good time.My daughter met me afterward and said, “Can we come back? It was so fun!” My son enthusiastically agrees. Thanks, Henry, for a great first lesson.

If you are looking for group lessons to teach your child how to swim, Swimlabs is not the best option. Overall it seems like they pay more attention to their competitive swimmers than those trying to learn the basics. We have been going for 2 months and here are cons I have noticed1no way to track progress- there is no communication between teachers and parents and when I spoke to the staff about finding out how my child was doing they said they would speak to the teachers for me but only if my child had a specific need2different instructors each week - even if I could speak to the teachers, my child is with a different instructor every week and about half the time they look very overwhelmed trying to figure out what to do with 4 kids3actual quality swim time in lessons - the lessons are 30 mins but because there are usually 4 kids the time the instructors spend focusing on teaching seems like 5 mins at most. The last 3 weeks my daughter has only been approached by the teacher 2 times during the whole lesson to review what she already knows4they have the parents watch behind windows - at first I thought this would be a good thing because they have tvs over each of the pools but the tv screens are never turned on so I can’t hear how things are going and seeing things is limited through the windowsThe pros of Swimlabs is 1)nice clean facility 2)pools are warm and they have mirrors at the bottom 3friendly staff but sadly I don’t think we will continuing lessons after this month.

Decided to do my first triathlon in my 30s. Never had formal swim lessons as a kid but was involved in 3 season sports in high school. I was trying to learn on my own but knew I needed help after a couple of self lessons. Swim Lab was AMAZING! The feedback could only come from an expert eye to correct me while swimming in water. Their capability to educate was wonderful and very easy to understand. Their ability to describe the purpose of movement, usage muscle groups and what it would "feel like" while properly swimming makes their teaching technique multilayered. My technique improved greatly in my first session and my confidence in myself and skill even more.Highly recommend SwimLab!. Worth every cent!

First, the good. Both instructors we’ve had at swimlabs have been very good with our 3 kids in private lessons and the kids have made improvements on their swimming. We did a session last year fromJanuary-April and everything seemed to run smoothly. We had a 1 month credit on file we didn’t use from the last sessions we paid for and decided to start lessons again this January-March 2020. The instructors and lessons my kids received were good. However it’s been nothing but a headache dealing with the billing, front desk staff and owner. We had an injury to one of our kids that prevented them from swimming in February. In retrospect, I should have canceled our lessons and walked away. They billed my credit card almost triple the dollar amount I was quoted over the phone for March for my other 2 children to continue lessons . After inquiring what the discrepancy was, I had a text conversation with Andrea, the owner, telling me I was given the wrong information by her staff and that we should go over the billing in person. I was not happy, but agreed to go over it in-person. I had asked to go over it during my kids’ lesson on Saturday morning to which I received a response of “yes, we can go over the billing at your kids’ lesson.” The next Saturday came and Andrea was no where to be found. We left a voicemail for her and texted her personal cell phone to see if she planned to show up. I received a text back saying that she never agreed to meet with me on Saturday. I told her I would send screenshots of our conversation to which she said she wasn’t sure who sent the message but that her staff had misspoke again. I said I was extremely frustrated at this point and needed to know an exact day and time we could meet to discuss the billing. She said she would get back to me shortly. 5 days later, I still had not heard from her. I sent another text saying that her not responding in 5 days was completely unacceptable and that they had still overbilled me but at this point it wasn’t worth the effort or frustration. I also expressed that it was clear we weren’t valued as clients nor did it seem our business was important to them and that after our sessions (that we were over billed forwere done, we wouldn’t be returning. The only response I received is that I would receive an update regarding covid-19 later today. No apology or taking responsibility for not following up. So while the lessons are decent, I can’t recommend them to anyone for lessons based on my interactions with the owner.

As a former swim instructor/competitive swimmer and an HSAR (Helicopter Search and Rescue Tech/Swimmer), I am critical of finding high-quality swim instruction for both my kids ages 2 & 7.My wife and I had gone through several other swim schools before discovering Swim Labs when they first opened. We have been with Swim Labs for over 3 years and have been extremely satisfied with their customer service and strive to be flexible and understanding. The level and quality of the instructors and the commitment of Swim Labs to seeing our swimmers continue to grow and improve is unmatched by other local swim schools. As a parent and swimmer, I would highly recommend Swim Labs and their staff to help your little swimmers.Chris SmetanaIA MEDCEO / HSAR Tech

Updated review:The instructors have been great with my 4 and 2 year olds. The kids have grown in skill and confidence in the water, which is a huge win for our family. The scheduling has been inconsistent but they’ve been willing to work with the issues and resolve any problems as they arose.

The instructors were great. The management and ability to communicate leaves much to be desired. I am most disappointed with myself for not moving to a different facility 6 months before I did. I saw the signs and only held on because they were located close to my daughters school. The longer I was there the less capable they proved to provide quality service. They passed my daughter into a higher level and then with no communication kept her in a lower level class for 5 weeks before moving her up to her actual level. They charged us the whole time, all because there were not kids to put her in a group class with. I am paying a ton for her to get the level education that she needs to grow.

I have mixed reviews of swim labs. First the good- my daughter has been at swim labs for over a year and is progressing in her swimming form and ability. She has liked all the teachers. It’s a unique system of swimming against a “current” which seems to be effective. They have flexible schedules and it’s easy to reschedule a make up class if you are not able to make it. But here are the things I don’t like- my daughter has never had a consistent teacher. I don’t even know the name of her teachers and it changes all the time. She is in the group classes, which will have a max of 4 students. But the teacher only works with one child at a time, while the other students sit on the side of the pool. So in a 30 minute lesson, she only gets <10 minutes of time from the teacher. And I think it is way too expensive for that about of teaching time. I have no idea how they determine a child’s swim level or how they monitor her progress. There is no communication between the teacher and parent. They have the parents separated from the pool area, with a window to watch from. They also have TV’s that are filming the students live, but half the time the TV’s aren’t working. But regardless of all the negative, I have chosen not to unenroll my daughter from swim labs because she is making progress and she is happy. So at the end of the day, that’s all that matter.

My experience with SwimLabs was excellent. I was an inexperienced adult swimmer that sought direction to accomplish an open water swim goal. Not only did Kyle help me improve my swimming exponentially, he showed me how to build confidence in myself. The coaching was physical and mental. The video analysis was so helpful and I really received the support that I needed. I highly recommend SwimLabs.

SwimLabs has a very friendly atmosphere and a great way with kids! My 4 year old was a bit scared of the water and shy and nervous at the first of the week and by the end of the week he was confident, doing things on his own and no fear!

So far we have only had one lesson but I was amazed at what our instructor, Chris, was able to do with my 5 year old and 3 year old. I can already see their confidence building and its still fun for them. I have also been impressed with the other staff members weve worked with. Some may say its expensive and yes I agree its on the pricey side. But I also feel it is worth every penny spent!! Thanks SwimLabs!!

My 2 and 4 year old boys had their first lesson this week. Andrea was AMAZING! My 4 year old learned more in one 30 minute lesson, than my older son did after 2 months at another popular swim school. She pushed the boys just enough that they were temporarily uncomfortable, but quickly learned to trust her. Neither wanted to get out of the pool at the end of the lesson. Above having fun, I want them to learn how to swim. I pulled my older son out of the other school after 6 months because, although he was having fun, they were not pushing him and he wasnt learning very quickly. I feel we will get the best of both worlds (fun AND learningat SwimLabs.

My daughter absolutely refused to be in the water... a real disaster. I cancelled the next lessons but then a week later while waiting for her brother’s lesson she asked to go in the water. She really connected with a teacher at the desk who was doing a lesson a few minutes later. The receptionist suggested to have my daughter try the lesson with another teacher if time allowed: It was a total different experience. My daughter loved her teacher. She was smiling all through the lesson, and all proud of blowing bubbles by herself and kicking her legs. I am so thankful of the advice given after the first week meltdown, as I would have just given up and not done lessons at all... even though I wanted my daughter to start leaving to swim.

Please do not take your children to this place. They put on a good front, but this place is not safe. The first time I took my kids for lessons here, my 7 year old son got in one of the pools and sliced his foot open on the glass inside. They have mirrors in the bottom of the pools! No one could explain to me HOW this happened. Was the mirror damaged? How could something like this happen? He wasnt doing anything wrong.Worse, the staff was incredibly belligerent and unhelpful. They werent particularly concerned about my sons foot (which needed TEN STITCHES!but wanted to shove us out the doors as quickly as possible. My kid was bleeding and in shock.Later, I came back to get my money back, and the owner came out to talk to me. She was rude and argued with me about the money, even though my kids had been in the pool for five minutes, and my son had needed a trip to the ER and stitches.Terrible experience. Id never come back here.

Its still too early to tell if the higher cost for swimming lessons here is justified, but I THINK it is (so, you know, my confirmation bias is probably kicking in, but whatever). My kids love it and the classes are small. The biggest issue I have with it, is simply that the 30 minutes seem to FLY by. Ive never felt so anxious about getting to something on time except a flight, because even a few minutes is ultra expensive. But the facility is top-notch and I like how small the classes are. My kids are quite young, though, and they swim a lot in general, so I dont know just yet WHAT the classes have taught them. My sister swears by it, though, for her 4 kids. The people working here are helpful and polite and are pretty great at working with the complexities of about a billion schedules. So, hats off to them.

Swim Labs is a game changer for any competitive swimmer. Ive swam for 10 years competitively and have never received such great feedback or been able to truly change and improve my stroke dramatically. Dropped 3 seconds in my 100 fly and I attribute it all to some stroke adjustments and mind set work done by Kyle! Such an amazing place, definitely worth the money.

Fantastic equipment, perfect for refining your swim stroke! Ive done both the personal training visit and drop-in swims. Love them both. The drop-in swim allowed me to just swim and monitor my own stroke using mirrors and cameras. And the personal swim trainer found several flaws in my stoke that I didnt know existed. Im already swimming faster after only two visits.

My son is a competitive swimmer at Alta High School. His progress in the pool seemed to have plateaued and he really wants to qualify for State so we thought we would give SwimLabs and Kyle a try. I have been very impressed with the quality of the coaching and attention to detail. Its now up to my son to put what he has learned into practice. The region meet is in a couple of weeks. Hopefully he will see a podium finish!

My son walked in knowing how to float and came out knowing he could walk into competitive swimming. Before Swim Labs came I signed all my kids up for swim lessons and all they could do is float. They had the worst form ever. My daughter barely, barely made it across a short course pool. My son could do about five laps but he was exhausted. I knew from my own childhood as a competitive swimmer they were wasting so much precious energy on poor form. I tried to teach them but teaching swimming is not that easy. Swim labs has mirrors on the bottom of the current pools, and cameras on the ceiling. They also have a camera they can strategically place on the side if needed. The instructors, for the most part, are the same instructors for your kids the entire time. They remember what was taught last week and what they want to do this week. My littlest toddler would cry for the first few lessons but now says she misses Swim Labs and "when can we go again?" Best money spent. Well be coming back till all of my kids are looking like pros.

My daughter, a competitive swimmer, has been going to swimlabs since they opened back in May. The instructors are fantastic, especially Kyle, also the owner. He has really helped my daughter improve her stroke technique and helped her fine tune her freestyle. They video tape you while in the water and it helps tremendously for my daughter to be able to see what she is doing right and wrong. Highly recommend Swimlabs. Thanks Kyle for working with Jessica and helping her improve and reach her goals.

My child is 4 and LOVES her swimming lessons. She started with a terrible fear of water and very quickly has turned into a mermaid. She cant get enough of the water! Her instructor is very kind and patient and makes class so fun. My daughter just talks about how much she laughed during class and how much she learned. She has tried soccer, karate, ballet, tumbling, tap, and has never loved any of them, except for swimming! Its an incredible environment and an amazing facility. You can tell they love what they do and take great pride in it. The price is affordable and I would recommend SwimLabs Sandy to anyone and everyone! Try it out and youll see!

Weve absolutely loved our Swimlabs experience. My daughter has gone from not wanting her face to get wet to swimming back and forth across the pool by herself very quickly. Small class sizes mean she gets lots of one-on-one time and the small pools feel like a manageable amount of water for a nervous beginning swimmer. Friendly staff know us by name. Clean facility. So so glad we found Swimlabs. Highly recommended.

As a swim instructor at SwimLabs, I feel that the program curriculum is geared towards helping ANYONE improve their skills and find a love for the sport. SwimLabs differs from any other program because each level focuses on correct technique and progressing according to the swimmer and takes whatever time needed to master each skill. I love working here with the top notch staff who are here to help you!
