Pretty cool experience. Dress warm! Not recommended for small kids and strollers
I loved the historical facts and such but at times I felt the tour guides speech was dragged out longer than it shouldve been, Its cold so Id recommend a jumper. other than that its a wonderful place for WWII enthusiasts.
Super
Amazing museum of II War tregedy
An atmosheric place. Still not interesting for children. Guide was very helpful and nice, but lots of information delivered in a short time with no interactives, monotonic. Someone would probably like it, but for us it is 3 from 5 stars.
Brilliant experience. Great guide with a lot history background explained. Just be warned - its not a joyful tour but one based on human tragedies at that time.
How can I go there from Wroclaw? Is there any train or bus? I couldn’t find any information about transportation.
Great, interesting. Not a huge complex, wouldnt bother with the coffee from the shop, taste is unique. Take a jacket inside, its cold, tour lasts about an hour
Got there late and it was closed, still had good walk!
That is a part of Polish and German history. One piece of bigger complex that haven’t been finished.
You can take a tour with other languages than Polish
Good visit, a lot of history. The tour tape was great. It activated as I walked through the exhibits.
If you are around the area then I think it would be worth a visit but otherwise no. There are two caves and it takes about 45min to go through them, and I would say its a quite boring tour. They didnt speak English either and if you decide to come bring extra clothes, its cold and damp inside.
A bit boring compare to other one. Nice to see if you r in town but like that wouldnt go.
Very important to remember those who lost their life here. Never again.
Great place, you must visit "Włodarz" too
The purpose of this mine is still unknown and it’s really hard to say because no documents left about this place. But the main version says that Nazi had a plan to build net of tunnels for nuclear experiments or use this as a bunker to hide Hitter.
Its just ..WoW ,u need to visit this place.Entrance is around £5,time around ±45min inside, take warm clothing and waterproof shoes.
Great place to visit, full of mistery and 2nd world war hostory.
Nothing special, just some concrete walls in the caves drilled under the mountain.
Not worth visiting. Especially if you dont understand polish. Audio guide is not very informative and you have to wait for ages until the polish guide has finished his story. You will find all information on the Internet anyway
interesting place if u like history
Germans made thousands die while digging this place...
Very interesting place. The guide was great. The only bad thing is, that the groups of visitors were too big.
This is a must see! Very nice guide, interestingly tolds about all objects of the Reise project.
Interesting, but the dont offer English tours and the audio guide is a bit limited.
Very interesting part of RIESE. Guide took us inside to all 3 tunnels and explained everything (also audio guide in other languages). They have here some SPECIAL EFFECTS to take you back in time - very good idea and part of visiting. Even though they have no idea what was to be here you can see V1 and V2 models in 1:1 scale. Pretty nice!
Interesting place
Lovely little place with history.
Very impressive relict of WWII. Its one of the must seen when you are nearby. Remember to take thicker clothes because theres a little bit cold inside. The sights are great. Guides are talkactive and always willing to answear your questions.
Interesting place to go, something different. Be ready that it’s cold inside, also depends on the weather.
Great place for history lovers.
Very nice museum & hidden story of having army cave.
Great lots of history
Very good
Great tour, was able to get an audio tour in English, which is great because my Polish is non existent. Interesting bit of war history. The drive from Swidnica is very heavily trafficked by cyclists, so be careful.
Brilliant place. Again electeonic english tpur guide vas very helpful
Interesting place, but tunnels are not too long. You can also spend some time just walking around.
Great place if you want to learn about second world war. But unfortunately my group was overcrowded so moving around mines was slow and annoying.
Very overcrowded group. Very Good and thorough commentary by the tour guide. If you have an audio guide and you are at the wrong end of the group the audio will not play when needed. So there are a few technical minor issues. Worth seeing anyway.
A place that reminds you how bestial a man can be. An uncompromising lesson of history.
I havent been there because of not actual information on the official website and the Google page. It works now till 6 pm on weekend, but you need to get there till 5 pm, for weekdays you need to get there before 4 pm as they work till 5 pm.
Ok
Great place to visit with tons of historical significance. I do wish there was an option to look around without a tour guide though...
I think Osowka is better.. or Wlodarz. Guide was speaking polish, so tourist from abroad will miss a lot. There are some nice sound effects, like live scenes
WWII tunnel experience was pretty interesting. There is a large network of these tunnels around this area. The guide only spoke Polish. It can get very cold and wet underground in these tunnels (even in the summerso, remember to wrap up and wear waterproofs.
Lovely place. Excellent historical experience. Really worth to see!
