Tiana did my curly hair cut/style. She was absolutely amazing. She shaped my wild curls and told me what products and why they would help my hair. I highly recommend Tiana for anyone but most definitely if you have naturally curly hair.

A lovely boutique style salon and spa overlooking and in the middle of Hyde Park Square with a nice variety of services. Schedule some salon/spa time with a friend, and then head out to the square for lunch dinner, or happy hour. Their shampoo bowls are the BEST!

This place is average to poor for the price point of a mens haircut. They constantly lose staff and every time your hair stylist moves on, the staff doesnt try to help you find someone of similar quality and cost at the salon. Sometimes they dont even notify you until you show up. When one of my stylists left , I went from a $25 stylist to a ~52$ stylist. The $52 stylist was great, but it was double the cost.Place is clean and nice looking. Quality of stylists within the same price point are drastic. Some will chop your hair up bad like Im getting a 15 min cut at a discount place and others have the quality of the stylists in the $50+ area.

Tanya,A true professional, she has a wonderful vision of perfecting hair and makeup. She did my hair and makeup way back when I got married 6/24/2000. I moved away from her salon after that. But if you want a perfect highlight using up to 3 shades of blonde, and a perfect haircut her salon is the place to go. The thing about Tanya is she won’t let you out of her chair unless the color and cut are perfect. I went to her for years before she even had her own salon. And every single time her work was flawless. She’s a true perfectionist and her staff is wonderful as well!Jill Eyrich

Erica has been cutting my hair for four years now. I have always had a very difficult time finding a good haircut for my very fine hair, but Erica has finally helped me find a haircut that I love. Everyone at the salon is incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating. I am so grateful that I found this place, and would highly recommend them!

I live in another state but travel to Hyde Park a couple times a year to visit family. I time my hair cuts to see Lindsey to get her Diva Curl cut, which is out of this world. Wished she loved near me! Plus this place has great customer service: complimentary drinks, head massage, hand massage w ring cleaner... this place is the best.

Do not be fooled to think that Tanyas is only for women. Great cut, great environment, personalized treatment, you leave Tanyas looking best and feeling great! Highly recommended.

If you have curly hair, I highly recommend Kelly. She listens, understands curly hair and gives amazing advice on how to maintain a diva cut.

I do not recommend for curls! I know it can be difficult to cut curly hair but it would help us all if stylists could be honest about their skills. The stylist I saw did cut my hair dry but she did so in a similar fashion to how youd cut hair wet. The result was completely uneven and messy. Curly girls be warned! Youre better off to cut yourself than go here.

They have really nice people working here and they make me feel welcomed. Ive had three ladies do my hair here and Ive been very happy about their hilites and lights (foilsplus jewelry cleaning and a hand and arm massage which is wonderful ❤️

I got my first Deva cut six months ago by Kelly and it was a make over for me. So today I decided to get my friend who has really beautiful natural curls to get her first Devacut. She was styled by Rachel and we are really happy and impressed by the results. This salon is really warm and welcoming to customers. They also know what theyre doing with curly hair. Ill be going back again.

Elle did a great job with my deva cut and highlight! Super happy with the outcome and her knowledge on products. She even shared trying a new product I had been wanting to use, which I purchased and will continue to use.

Natalie did my makeup and Samantha did my hair for a black tie event and I feel so pretty. I cant remember the last time I felt like this. Thank you!

Everything was great...Erica is not only a great stylist but a really fun person...since she needed to be with me for 3 hours that was greatly appreciated... Everyone one there was friendly and welcoming.....

The top notch salon around.........the hair stylists are superior and individually trained by the owner herself. If there are any problems Tanya immediately steps in and resolves the problem.

I just had a very bad experience. This is supposed to be a salon that specializes in curly hair. I saw Kelly Morgan for a haircut. What i told her was that i wanted a cut that i could wear straight or curly. She showed mea few pictures and i told her what i liked. I told her that i did not want it too short. I actually told her this three times. Not only is it way too short and will take four months to grow out, it is incredibly uneven. She has no talent for curly hair whatsoever and should stick to straight hair.

Fantastic salon! They are so inviting and kind. I had the best dry cut I’ve ever had, and my hair now feels so much healthier. I highly recommend it!You can also get a manicure while your hair dries, it’s quite a wonderful experience.

I had never been to a salon before or had a Deva Cut. I did not really know what to expect going into the appointment, but Rachel took excellent care of me. She listened to what I wanted and also gave recommendations of what she thought would look nice. I got a little more off the length than I thought I would, but it looked great and really gave my curls life! Totally recommend!

Ive been going to Tanyas for a few years now and I really love it. The staff is wonderful and I also leave loving my hair. Kelly matched my hair color to my extensions perfectly - which isnt super easy to do! highly recommend

A small business gem in Hyde Park with skilled professionals who will make you look and feel fabulous! Ive been there for 5 visits within the last 6 months. Whether its a color or a cut, Ive always been elated and I walk out of the salon with more confidence than when I walked in. Tanya remembers you and asks what youve been up to and I personally love Kerice and her work. Her attention to detail along with her friendly, sincere and kind demeanor is worth any trip to the salon!

I went in for a deva cut with Courtney, and she absolutely butchered my hair. I called the desk when I made the appointment to make sure she had experience with super curly hair and that she knew what she was doing. They said she was great, had just done the refresher course and even reccomended her over another stylist.When I got to my appointment we discussed what I wanted, and I showed her pictures of the shape I was going for, and a picture of my last haircut. I told her my last cut was a little too short for me (it was about half an inch above my shouldersand that the number one most important thing was to keep as much length as possible. She then proceed to cut off all of my hair and now it isnt even chin length.During the cut, I said it was making me nervous that she was taking so much length, and she said she was just cutting the upper layers to get the shape. The worst part is that not only did she chop all of my hair off, she did a poor job of it. Its different lengths on the sides, and she left a chunk of hair totally uncut so it hangs below the rest. Its the worst haircut Ive ever had. Great Clips would have done a better job. I walked out of the salon in tears, and wouldnt reccomend Courtney for ANY curly girls.

Beautiful salon. I went here because i recieved a free haircut when I moved to the area and didnt expect it to be such a nice salon. I had an amazing hairwash, which is always the best part, and an arm and hand massage during. I only got my hair cut and styled but it was a great experience overall.

I absolutely enjoy my experience every time Im here. I see Elle, she is always asking if I want my hair to look like this, or like that based on pictures I show her. Taking her time to make sure I get EXACTLY what I want. They have water, coffee, tea and snacks in their waiting area as well. I randomly tried this salon 4 years ago and its now the only place I go for cut, color and styling!

My experience at Tanyas is always excellent. I have been going to Tanyas since she opened the salon....I have always gotten A plus service from every stylist I have worked with over the years..... Also have had an exellent experience with Pat, Lauren, and Gena..... you are all THE BEST Im currently in Florida and will not have the same experience down here as I have the nine months we are in Cincy.......

I have been going to Tanya for more than 15 years and I have my appointments booked for the entire year of 2016. I think that says it all. It is always a great experience to go there. You will not find me in another salon

Had a great experience at Tanyas! I recently came back after my last few cuts at a salon closer to home. I had forgotten what a good quality cut does for the self esteem! I quickly realized the value in a high quality cut where the stylists are able to give practical tips on styling and products. The complimentary snacks & beverages, hand and arm massages, ring cleaning (yes, they can clean your rings and get them sparkling!), hot towel conditioning treatment, and super comfy shampoo chairs are just the icing on the cake! Tanyas is worth the drive and a great value for such high quality.

I was referred here by a friend from work, which meant that I got 10% off my haircut and my friend will get a 20% discount the next time she visits. I thought the atmosphere was casual and relaxed, yet professional. I was greeted by the receptionist and explained that I needed change for the meter and she kindly obliged. She even offered to have one of the salon girls feed the meter for me! My stylist was awesome. Shes friendly, easy to talk to and she did a great job. I only had the haircut, but my friend gets her hair colored there and really likes it.
