All of my family love lamb Paomo and Biangbiang noodle is special. Highly recommended!
My son really likes lamb skewers. And all the other dishes tastes very good as well.
Excellent, authentic hot oil noodles. Would recommend
Seattle- your Chinese food is da bomb! If youre looking for something from China at a reasonable price, I would strongly recommend this location. I had chili chicken with herbs and peanuts which was a knockout. The chicken was marinated in semi-spicy chili oil with an herb that made my mouth tingle! For the entree, I had a lamb soup which was delicious! It was the perfect of combination of savory and chewy texture- dont forget to add some chili oil on it! The waitresses were kind. Ill be returning.
It is great! Food and services are perfect~
Ill come back this restaurant..... I love the atmosphere in here and the food as well.
good service and good taste. From freshman to seniors, over 10 times.
We were a walk in party of 8 and they were able to accommodate us. The food was incredible, we ordered so many dishes and they were all perfect. Very reasonable price for a giant group, too. I will definitely eat here next time I am in seattle!
We ordered the tu dou si, qishan noodles, liang pi and oil pulled noodles. The best dish was the tu dou si—all of the noodle dishes were done poorly, wheat noodles over cooked, and liang pi noodles too chewy. Also, the door broke while we were eating making the restaurant very cold. On top of it all, the handyperson decided to smoke in the middle of the doorway while fixing the door, filling the restaurant with smoke. Will not be going back.
I’ve been a regular here for a year and I am overdue for a 5 star review. Food is consistently good and I had brought so many people in. Have never felt disappointed! Coming from another restaurant industry person who’s under the pressure of increasing food cost, their food is very reasonably priced, always flavorful & delicious! Remember that people who have great experiences don’t often leave a positive review. Make sure lamb skewers, squid kebab, green beans, spicy hot pot, all the noodles are on your order 🙂
The food taste amazing, the waiters are nice, and it’s a great place to eat. I highly recommend that you come and try it.
Best xi an food in the town. Came here every time when nearby. And the service from waitress is also good.
food and service are both good!
The best and most authentic Chinese food near the university. The service is good too. Toasted bun with pork is a must try!
Great decor and ambiance ! I was pleasantly surprised at the great homemade dumplings and noodles - it really tasted like home ! Everything was fresh and tasty , a very satisfying meal 😄😄💖🌷
Delicious food, great service, and very clean restaurant. Everything was very fresh and very flavorful too.
Great taste of Xian cuisines. I had a pork wontons in chicken soup and lamb paomo. Overall it was great but I personally think paomo was floury.
Lived in Beijing for 5 months. Great restaurant there that had very similar food. I guess it was Xian style. This restaurant reminds me of it exactly and has incredible dishes... Just much more expensive than China!
Have been here for several times and tried several different noodles already. All of them taste good and remind me of the time I spend in China. Highly recommend!
I ordered 5 dishes and only 2 dishes were decent. The dumplings and wontons in spicy wontons were over boiled, so wrapper skins were mushy. The wonton fillings were skimpy with oversized wrapper skin, so you mainly taste dough. They use the same wrapper skin for both wontons and dumplings, so there are no taste or texture distinctions between the two other than how they were folded. The chicken fried rice was way too salty and used too much soy sauce to eat, so we just left it. The chicken fried noodles was good. The mapo tofu did not look anything like the picture on the menu. It had large chunks of braised beef instead of ground pork, but tasted decent. We were a party of 5 and the restaurant automatically added a 18% gratuity to our ticket for average service. I do not recommend this restaurant.
You can’t believe I am paying almost $20 for lamb kebab just get only less than 10 pieces!!! Are you kidding me ?? Don’t ever come to this place again unless you are very rich!!!
Super friendly service but the liangpi was not that great for me
Got the hot oil noodles with tomato and egg. Absolutely no spice whatsoever. Also, the serving of tomato and egg was TINY. Just wanted some noodles…
We had late dinner here. Not authentic. Good stuff and wait wasnt that long. What is not happy with the stir fried noodle was way too spicy. The portion looks large, but only a few noodles with tons of cabbage. The lamb is a small portion. I wasnt a fan of what I ordered, spent more than $100 for 4 people, not worth it. Wont recommend to go.
Everything was delicious. I particularly liked the shredded potato. They hang the most complicated Chinese character, which refers to a relevant noodle, on a scroll on the wall.
I had the hot oil noodle (+ bean paste w/ pork). They weren’t kidding when they said there was oil - the whole thing was basically soaked in oil which made it taste great (but I also got full pretty quickly). The ordering process was cool, we placed them online. I was served pretty quickly, but the same cannot be said for my other friend, who waited 25+ minutes for fried rice… he mentioned he could have made it himself in the same timeframe 😐. Overall, good!
I ordered two bbqs from them, which costs exactly the same price. One of 10 lamb skewers, one of 3 lamb kebabs. The 10 lamb skewers was good and reasonable portion. Then I open my 3 lamb kebabs, which was put in a box for takeout. First the food tastes exactly like the lamb skewers, no difference whatsoever. Second, the portion is ridiculously small for $12 and completely different from their picture! The 3 lamb kebabs is just a scam and ripoff! If you want bbq from them, get the 10 lamb skewers. You get a larger portion and same quality of meat for the same amount of money you pay for.

The food was delicious, so I was surprised there were so few people there at lunch. Even for dine in, you order everything from your phone from QR code at your table. Three of us got different noodle dishes. Great flavors, perfectly cooked noodles. Our picky eater got something that was shredded pork on a bun and was quite satisfied.
Came on a Friday night. You scan a QR code and order on your phone. Its nice and easy esp for people who dont speak Mandarin.Had biang biang noodles with added mince pork, and also cold pigear salad.Noodles were pretty good, esp with the mince pork. The pig ear salad wasnt my fave, but my husband liked it.Soymilk was nice and refreshing too.
Food was so so good. You scan the QR code at the table and order through your phone. My mom got noodles in hot oil and it was so so fire. The cucumber salad was also really good.
The hot oil pulled noodle was probably the best bowl of noodles Ive ever had!!
The hand pulled noodle texture was fabulous. Lamb noodle soup had a nice light broth. Spicy seafood hotpot was pretty good, shrimp were overcooked. Service was fairly prompt.
We went to this place because Red pepper was closed and Little duck was too busy.Food and service was ok, only dish I really enjoyed was the a choy (chinese lettucewith garlic sauce so we took most the food to the hotel and left it there when we were on the way home.
Got the braised beef brisket w/ Mapo Tofu. Never had anything like it before but it was incredible, if we come back I’ll get a side of rice next time too. Good service as well!
Had the hand ripped noodles and lamb skewers here. Lamb skewers were amazing and I highly recommend them. Nice size for snacking, balanced fat content, and great seasoning. Noodles were quite good as well, but I have had better in Seattle. Perhaps it’s a small point but I wish they had better dishes. The light, plastic bowls and cups feel a bit cheap and bring down the taste. Especially for beer, I really prefer to have a real glass.
We were really happy with the quality of the food and service here. You order or request service from your phone and pay the normal way. Our cold appetizer came out within 30 seconds, i swear. The wide noodle and stir fry noodle were both wonderful. Not too spicy, but not too mild. We got chili oil sauce on the side, just in case we wanted an extra spicy bite. They lamb skewers are a must-order. Small amounts of meat and lots of spices grilled just right. We will go again soon!
This is my to-go place whenever I want Chinese noodles or BBQ. I think their noodles are the best in greater Seattle area. Even though this restaurant is not featured for BBQ, their BBQ is much better than other places that specialize: for Chinese BBQ. The skewers are so flavorful! My favorites are lambs skewers, pork feet and oyster. The restaurant is clean and staffs are very friendly. Highly recommend!
Literally love of my life. I came here 3 times within a month even though it takes me nearly an hour to get here. LiangPi( the Chinese cold noodleis my favorite, lamb skewers coming the next. Chinese burger is also really good. Haven’t had anything I didn’t like so far.
I’ve given this place a second chance last week and I think this time it’s better. Grilled oyster, Hometown Flavor Assorted Lamb Soup and Stir Fry String Bean & Eggplant is a must try!
Not as busy as I thought it would be, but food here is very delicious, the skewers 红柳羊肉串 taste great with right amount of fattiness and tendorness and the soup 胡辣汤 is also surprisingly flavorful, our waiters are also attentive and nice, the overall dining experience is just great.
Super authentic Xi’an food. My favorite combo is varies BBQ skewers and a bowl of Biangbiang noodle, also try the soda 冰峰 or 北冰洋
I went with another person for Saturday early dinner. There were plenty of seats available.Food: we ordered 3 items (pictures attached). The hot and sour soup was more sour and less hot. It was oily, but the acidity kept it very refreshing. The noodles were fun, the peanuts were tasty, and the Sichuan peppercorn was pretty strong. I thought the lamb kebabs were kind of pricey, but they were big, cumin-flavored, and nice and chewy. The chopped pork dish we got had hand-pulled noodles in them, which were good, though perhaps not as good as at Xian Noodles. The potato cubes in the dish were slightly undercooked and kind of hard in the centers as a result. The pork was a bit dry. Everything else about it was good. A Xian classic that we did not order was paomo, which we were told is the outside of shredded bread in broth.Service: excellent. All of the servers would often refill water, and the noodle dish was plated into individual bowls for us at our table (which I was told is normal in a place like this when you get noodles).Decor: the kitchen was a long bar on one side of the restaurant and the dining area took up the rest of the space. The toilet was decently clean. The lighting was bright and cafeteria-like, but cozy. There were a lot of seats and and the tables had enough room for many dishes. The servers stood in front of the kitchen area, which was kind of awkward because it looked like they were just watching us, which detracted from the experience a bit.Price: I thought the prices were reasonable for what we got, but some Chinese friends told me that its actually a bit more expensive than you would usually find. All three dishes totalled less than $40, so I thought it wasnt bad.I would go again to try out some other dishes.
Wonderful food. Im from Xian and this restaurant has authentic Xian food. Very tasty. Really made me think of my hometowns flavor. We went around noon on a Monday and it has plenty of seats. Service was great and speed was very fast. The only thing Id say is that the amount of food could be more, given its price. We got two free Suan Mei Tang drink because apparently theres an offer that you can get one soft drink for free if you order more than $20. We spent more than $40 so we got two. Highly recommend this place. Will come back again.
Home made noodles are super long so great for my Chinese birthday meal. (long noodles =long life)The rest of the food was only meh. Probably not a repeat for us. Lamb sticks are good but pretty stingy on the portion size.
It’s decent.• Tried the pork bun (good), beef skewers (meh), and hand pulled noodles (great). The hand pulled noodles with hot oil is pretty much just noodles if you want that and the one with pork and spicy sauce has a bunch of veggies.• ambience was nice and the restaurant is clean• service was fast and helpful!
The food is delicious, good portion, and reasonablely priced. The restaurant is big compared to all other restaurants there on the same street. Sometimes there’s a line for a table but it moves quickly. The food come out fast and tasty. I’ve been here twice and will definitely go back again.
The menu was updated, some more dishes were added.推荐羊肉筋串,烤烧饼,凉皮,肉夹馍Its a new restaurant, and I had heard some bad reviews before I tried it today. Actually the food was better than my expectations especially the kebab. Id say it would be one of my favorite Chinese style kebab in Seattle area. The cold noodles and the pork bun were nice too. I dont really recommend the pulled noodles since they were too firm. The downside is all the dishes are pretty small especially the kebab which was kind of tiny. The service was good because I went pretty early, you might need to wait for a seat if you go at busy hours.
Nice selection of small plates, perfect for sharing. The hand pulled noodles were great. The highlight of the meal was the lamb spine hot pot. Maybe the most tender and flavorful lamb Ive ever had. They give you plastic gloves with it so you can eat with your hands, which was a nice touch. The fresh mango freeze was a perfect cooling beverage to have with the meal and doubled as dessert. Will definitely go back to try more dishes.
In short, what a disappointment. (Service was okay, polite).Generally felt, I gained so much calories by eat this ?!I felt like the need for Chinese food is great in Seattle, so great that the bar can be that low for any new Chinese resto to be popular.I really doubt if I would dine and come back to this resto if it were opened in China. The food itself is like your normal Chinese noodle dish near the Uni (the fact that they are near the Uni), cheap, salty and greasy. The noodle does have a chewy texture but still far from Qin up north. Besides that, just salt that makes up the majority of the taste.Went there during the first opening week. Maybe if I was a poor student that just finished a long night at the library, I would come. After all its cheap. But this is far from a decent Xian food on a normal 大学路 in China.I guess the soup offers the best value at $2.99. Cant get that in Seattle.Picture is Okra on a plastic bag.
