Clean place.. Good food, friendly people

it is a Japanese fast food joint. I like their sushi rolls, they are rolled to order and their chicken dumplings are awesome.

Food is good.I always get the poke bowl. Runs about $12.00.

Astonished that this place gets good reviews. Its a very poor attempt at Asian cuisine, even for a quick service restaurant. Lots of better places in the local area. Ingredients arent fresh, food is greasy, and flavorless.

People work here rude . VERY RUDE THEIR EMPLOYEES. They cheap with the meat they give u . They charge you for extra but they do not put extra. . THEY GIVE YOU ALOTT OF RICE SO THEY DONT HAVE TO PUT ALOT OF MEAT........

i have ordered twice from this restaurant and both times was upsetting. first time i order through uber eats and i waited an hour and food never arrived. i called the restaurant and they didnt try to resolve anything. they just told me to get a refund from uber eats... like thats fine i can get a refund but that means i still have nothing to eat for lunch at work. that means i waited an hour for nothing.the second time i ordered they sent me the order with 2 of 3 items missing. i only received one item. i called the restaurant again and they said they mixed up my order with someone elses and again just said to get a refund from uber eats even though this is their mistake and not uber eats mistake. if they sent me someone elses order then they should send me my order that is still at restaurant.... they should have tried to fix it by actually sending me the order i already paid for?? doesnt that make sense.... but no they just said to get a refund from uber eats....

Chill music and chill kind of environment even tho doesnt like it from outside haha I order a Chiken teriyaki obviously and an Californian roll.. The teriyaki was good enough but I think I could have more strength in the flavor.. The roll was a you know a roll nothing good or bad to say

Bad customer service I ordered 3 foods and they took like 25 minutes just to do my order while others customers got theirs on 5 minutes maximum even the people how was eating inside where done with their food.after all the employees was only looking at me and later they where asking me again what did I ordered 😡understand that take time but cmon they had like 10 customers and everyone is gone with their food I suppose to be the second in line and I was the last person in the restaurant... they apparently only care and only does Delivery service

I place two orders, both orders was smashed together in the same dish. Doesn’t look good at all. Killed my appetite.

I always come here for the bento box. I like that it has a bit of everything I like. But now theyve replaced California rolls with Spring rolls. I dont care for spring rolls. I asked if I can still get California rolls as a substitute. They said no, I can buy it separately for like $5.50. That wasnt the point.I asked why they replaced it and they said that they didnt, it was always spring rolls. That is not true, Ive been getting it for years. Even the poster of it on the wall has the spring rolls photoshoped in it, and you can tell.Its unfortunate because they messed up the item Ive been coming here for. Now I have to find a new place.

I like the food, and is not pricey, the place is very clean.

The flavor went down hill since the Pandemic. I and several of my friends had the same experience @ different times. Very disappointing

Dont order the so-called seaweed salad. Its like 20 percent seaweed salad and 80 percent lettuce with some cheap dressing.

I tried the shrimp tempura sushi and it was so good, and I got my food so fast I thought it was gonna take a long time

Went on a beautiful spring Saturday afternoon. Indoor dining was closed, but the space is very large, so probably will have plenty of seating available once it reopens. Only one group ahead of me to order, around 12:30 pm. I ordered three rolls: eel, salmon avocado, and spicy tuna. Those non-fancy rolls are about $6 including tax for 8 pieces, so pretty good deal. It was a lot of sushi for under $18 with tax. I do wish they had a maki combo or something though.Order was ready in 5-8 minutes or so, even though they were preparing 2 other others ahead of mine. Quality was good, and the salmon rolls in particular were kind of overstuffed, which is nice. Since I ordered to go, the crunch on the spicy tuna wasnt particularly crunchy anymore when eating, but flavor was there.Overall, definitely a thumbs up, and will be back to try the bento and other items like fried gyoza. Boba would be a huge draw for me, if they added it to the menu.

They have very friendly staff but the language barrier can be a bit difficult for communication. Most importantly though the food is delicious and the price to portion is very good. Since there are very few Japanese restaurants around its definitely a must if you want something different to eat. As far as time goes you dont have to wait very long👌 If youre around the area give it a try the only thing is that there is no indoor dining yet unfortunately.

I used to love this place but lately they don’t cook right the chicken. Several times they gave me my chicken not well cooked and you can notice because the texture is disgusting like if it still raw and it’s pink inside. Please fix that I love this place but I’ll stop coming because that’s a big problem and people can get sick because of this.

Absolutely love this place. My favorites are shrimp tempura roll and salmon avocado roll. The poke bowl is also amazing. Their specialty rolls are all great. Prices are on point!

Teriyaki One is one of my go-tos when Im craving a break from home made food. Waiting time is usually short, even on relatively busy days and the food is always great! One of the biggest things for me with food is consistency, I know sometimes cooks can have a one off and the food comes out different than usual. Amazingly, the food from Teriyaki is always delicious and it hasnt changed, except maybe for the better. I highly recommend if youre looking for a quick, inexpensive bite!My suggestion: Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box; white rice, Teriyaki chicken, spring rolls, dumplings, and the perfect amount of salad with a dressing that leaves me wanting more every time.

I am giving them only two stars 🌟 because the chicken teriyaki is delicious and the location is very clean but the spring rolls are tasteless, I am very disappointed about it. I love Japanese food but I think they can improve their dumplings and vegetable spring rolls recipes.

I had salmon over fried rice, spring rolls and chicken dumplings. Tasted okay. About 48 hrs later, I experienced severe abdominal cramping, chills and a fever of 103. I have all the symptoms of food poisoning including blood. Got my fever down but Hoping I dont end up at ER.

Hands down the best Teriyaki spot in town. Had multiple orders delivered to perfection and even went to pick up and every time its friendly service and absolutely delicious food.

It would be a 5 star but today the chicken was horrible it was too white and barley had any sweet and my mother got a rotten shrimp.

Absolutely love this place and so happy to have them here in West New York! Im not a big fan of salmon or sushi, but judging by the quality of their chicken and beef teriyaki, I know its equally delicious and of top quality. The food is cooked in sight of customers, the staff is very friendly and the seating area is open and clean. They also have their soft serve open to the public for refill if needed.

The only bad thing is i cant keep up with my diet because as soon as i smell that chicken my mind tells me no but my body tells me yea unfortunately lol great food fast service employees are so nice and great at what they do

This place makes good food just need to make sure the chicken its cooked all the way and a heads up people who order trend to grab plates that dont belong to them so that tends to get annoying because someone might cough on it and it starts fights so beware

Best spot on bergenline hands down. The prices are banging and the food speaks for its self. Go and check it out then let me know if Im wrong. But you will definitely not be disappointed

NO Delivery Or Uber Eats?I Called In Asking For A Delivery And They Rudely Denied Me, The Person That Picked Up The Phone Sounded Bored And Like He Dident Care, I Asked How About Uber Eats? Not That Either Then They Hung Up, Poor Customer Service But Its Still Good Food, They Need To Get Uber Eats At Least!!!

The food is mostly very good here and the place is very clean. Price is slightly above average for the area, but not expensive by any stretch.I ordered the Shrimp and Salmon Bento Box. It includes a hefty portion of rice topped generously with eight medium/large shrimp and three pieces of salmon. The shrimp were cooked to perfection: firm and meaty, not hard, and abounding with a light teriyaki flavor. The salmon is cooked well done, again with a firm exterior. The three dumplings and two vegetable rolls were delicious. Both, however, were a bit greasy. They had a common spice in their filling that I cant quite identify. The salad was a little disappointing and consisted of a small pile of not the freshest lettuce along with two thinly sliced half slices of cucumber, and had no dressing. I should have taken a picture and posted it because the presentation of the food is quite appetizing. Anyway, besides the salad, the food was really quite good.A few negatives include that the employees barely speak English, and when they do it is with a heavy accent. It was difficult to get any of the staffs attention when needed, and they appear to be in their own world. However, I cant get too upset with them because the ventilation is so bad that the entire restaurant reeks of smoke. Im sure Id be in another world too. It really is not possible to eat in there without the smoke tainting the experience.All in all, I would recommend the food at Teriyaki One, however I would caution against eating onsite because the ventilation really is quite terrible.

Food is great and customer service is great as well. The interior of the restaurant is so simple. Very bland taste of style but they have everything like soda machines and drinks you serve yourself. Its a quick place where you can come and order and get freshly hot food on the go. The place does not have any type of AC for the hot days nor does it have any heater for the winter (Ive been here both seasons). Other than that, good place to eat.

Holy f-ing poop I love this place man , but I looked at my chicken and that was as black as I am and I’m blacker than the word itself. I took a bite to see if it was at least fine to eat and god damn that tasted like straight up culo. Don’t come here

Me and my uncle were hungry after a longgg session of playing uhh yea so we ordered teriyaki one and when it came it I opened it and that polo was as black as my African Muslims , I tried it and it god dammm cracked my tooth that sound was so god dam loud it reminded me of my uncles Polo in my culo .... I mean uhh rulo , but yea this restaurant great ave a good day

Always fast, and place looks super clean. I call ahead for pick up, and the food has ALWAYS been ready when i arrive which is pretty nice. Food is always consistent, and a good bang for your buck.🍗🍚

Nice Asian restaurant. Tasty food. Better than other Chinese or Japanese restaurants on Bergenline Avenue. Chicken is soft n taste s good quality. Noodles also soft. Yummy😋

These people must be on something to give it anything more than one star. The place smells horrible and burnt! The kind of chicken they use and sauce is gross. Seems half cooked. The rice is decent. I feel bad since the staff is very friendly. The food and smell turns my stomach. Good luck on your toilet.

Delicious food, good sushi, good dumplings, and nice place to have a bite. Been going to this place for a while now and they never dissapointed me so far, worth trying. Better than other shushi places around and good chicken teriyaki. Totally recommended.
