Excellent displays. Information boards and short videos about all aspects of the rabbit industry in and around Texas. Very informative and something for everyone. Akubra hat making video also excellent.
Great experience. Full of old memorabilia. $10 per adult. Only open on select days.
Fascinating, extremely well done
Please. Let me see my dad again.
Amazing to learn all about the rabbit industry. This museum is well worth the $10 entry fee.
Was very very interesting, have told other people about it since.
Very interesting place to visit and see about the rabbits and how acubras are made
Very informative place to learn about the rabbit plaque in the 1930. Would highly recommend visiting
A well preserved piece of history. If you have the chance to see it, take the chance, its an amazing story... :)

Awesome local museum and a credit to Texas town.
Very interesting, well worth stopping for to check out the history of the area.
A lot of history in the old building. Researchers have done an amazing job to gather displays and information.
Great history
A must go and see
Nice piece of history, well presented. Very interesting, and well worth a visit.
This is a truly a hidden gem. So much history. To think people used to do this for a living.. meat was sent to the UK, the pelts used for hats and the skins were sent to the USA.. well worth a visit...
It is informational and good for people who enjoy watching little rabbits get slaughtered.
Great place to take the kids. Learned alot about the rabbits and texas
Authentic and well presented display of a little known part of Australian history when the schoolkids could earn more then their teachers monthly salary by spending one weekend catching rabbits and selling them to this local rabbit factory for export. If you are interested in Australian history it is a must see and is like a time capsule. Very well presented with friendly staff and volunteers.
Amazing place to visit, so interesting
Very interesting. My grandfather was a rabbit trapper & used to take my mum during the depression.
Well worth a visit
Very interesting and well presented
Its ok. Only open a few days of the week and not on the days we visited! One of the significant landmarks of the town and if you have any interest in the towns history it is a must view stop. The building looks interesting but when shut there isnt much going on. Parking out front on the grass.
What a great display. Well worth seeing. Would recommend it. We spent at least an hour and a half. Could have spent more time there.
Very interesting and informative. Lots to see. Amazing time in history.
Would highly recommend to anyone..very informative... a great bunch of people work there that are happy to answer your questions.. AAA 👍👍👍
An excellent experience in the awesome little town of Texas QLD.
Loved it
We were blown away by this simple but significant part of Australias history about the rabbit...introduced at Winchelsea VIC, not far from where we live! The whole Rabbit Works has been preserved and added to with visitor experiences like videos, displays and story boards.Make sure you find out the whole story of our rabbit exports....and watch the Akubra Hats story...amazing!
Great place to visit. Brought back a lot of memories for my husband who used trap rabbits as a young boy. Well laid out & nice & clean.
Amazing ..fantastic piece of history
