Did lunch there with some old work friends. Service was quick, price very reasonable, food was great.
Always a good choice.Have been often and never had a bad experience.Great service
*****THEY KNOW HAVE DELIVERY VIA DOORDASH**** so happy about this. Been ordering all the time. ( dont listen to anyone saying its not authentic. They dont know been to Thailand many times. Their dishes are amazingSuper delicious!!!!! Absolutely blown away this food is amazing. Ill be back many times!
Food was tasty service was excellent wil be going back again
Friendly servers, large portions and delicious food. Great lunch specials too.
Lots of options on the menu, and the food was pretty good. Attentive staff. Avoid getting the mojito though!
I like Thai food and it’s usually good but I’ve found none better than Bangkok Bistro in Georgetown, DE. Tucked away in a strip mall along US-113, you will find yourself enjoying a delightful dining experience. The Green Mussels appetizer was out-of-this-world with an herb sauce to die for! The Chicken Satay was good and the fresh rolls could not have been any fresher! Their luncheon specials are a great bargain – a very large plate of food for about ten dollars. They offer five levels of spiciness (none, mild, medium, hot, and “Thai hot”on their entrees. It’s probably better to go on the milder side then spice up your plate to your own taste with the condiment tray that comes to the table (crushed red pepper, jalapenos, Thai chiles, and a spicy-sweet-salty relish).
The food is always fresh & hot. The restaurant is very clean. The best part is the staff are so friendly.
Chicken Panang curry was fantastic. Steamed dumplings were also very very good. We will return again.
Delicious food red curry was delicious I may have added too much spice But was banging definitely recommend
Steer clear of this place. It was awful. We were visiting from out of town and wanted Thai. Big mistake. Everything was watered down, overcooked and scarce on the vegetables and meat. The spring rolls and dipping sauce were decent.
Ive eaten here several times and never been disappointed. The Pad Thai is very well done. They have a great variety of Thai and Curry dishes, soups, noodle dishes etc. Sometimes the service can be a bit off, but never rude. My kids also love the food here so thats a huge win.
The food was some of the most bland tasting food ever. Americanized thai with no flavor or care. Overpriced to the max. The atmosphere of the resturant and the service was reasonable but the food was bad.
First visit to Georgetown and found this great Thai restaurant. Great people and food is even better. I had the green curry with eggplant & tofu (added mushroomsand it was fantastic. Wish this place was in Wilmington.
The Thai Food by far is the best Ive eaten in this whole state of Delaware. The restaurant is very clean. The wait staff are very friendly and the food is fresh, tasty ,hot and served on nice plates. Thai Tea is good, but needs a bit more flavor, but I wasnt here for the tea.We had Pad Thai, Green Curry and Thai Basil all cooked to perfection. We are definitely coming back. Another plus is next door is a Mexican Restaurant that sells very good Mexican Sweet Bread we will have for dessert 🍪🍪100 Stars!
Excellent waitress. Relaxing environment. Delicious food. Great experience even after a bad day at work!
Beautiful & clean restaurant. Food was well prepared & very delicious.I will be back !!C. Dietz
Delicious meal! We had Thai fried rice vegetable with tofu and chicken Thai fried rice. The food was fresh. We asked for medium spicy and it’s hot. We will definitely be returning! The place is big and clean.
My husband and I travel from Baltimore to Ocean City every week and decided to finally stop and try this place. We were pleasantly surprised! Papaya salad, clear noodle soup, a catfish entree and tofu pad Thai was our order. Everything was really good! The catfish was a small portion. Service was friendly and fast.
The food was well proportioned, unfortunately not made to the correct spice level. I had to order something at a three-star level but it came out with basically no added spice.Additionally we ordered some vegetarian dumplings but they brought out meat dumplings initially. They resolved the issue.
Practically empty when we arrived which was so nice and quiet. Food took a little time to come out but was very worth it! Snapshot delicious pad see ewe! There was only one waitress but she was so friendly and kind she did a wonderful job.
Delicious meal! Super impressed. Just moved to the area and decided to give this a try with lower expectations. Coming from NYC, I was a little nervous. However, very pleasantly surprised. I had the Pad Thai which was perfect - flavorful and a solid amount. The fried wontons were a little overfried, but still good. Service was also very prompt and friendly. We will definitely be returning!
Service, food, and atmosphere were all great. We stopped for lunch on our way home to Virginia from New York. We will definitely stop on future trips through Delaware
This place is a gem! Clean and food is fresh and you can see prepared with detail. I had the dumplings they were got and fresh not dry and crumbly. The pad Thai noodles was cooked to perfection I have no complaints. Thank you
This place is much nicer than one would expect for the shopping center it happens to be located in. We havent had everything on the menu, but everything weve had has been fantastic. Sometimes we get take-out, but oftentimes we dine in. Very neat and clean with friendly staff. Large portions; I always take leftovers home.
Pretty disappointed, this is the third time ive tried this restaurant and im just flabbergasted at how it can have even a 4 star review.1st visit I got one of the eggplant entrees and the flavor was almost non-existent.2nd visit I ate in, the rice mold was cute but their hot duck BARELY had any duck & the curry was so watery3rd visit today the pad thai is dry with no taste, drunken noodles are also dry with an overwhelming bell pepper taste which actually is the only thing I can taste in this dish. Tom yum soup was supposed to have SHRIMP in it and all it had were mushrooms? This honestly tastes more like a sweet and sour soup than an actual tom yum soup.Ill probably never go here again. If youve had ACTUAL thai food, dont bother stopping by and just drive across the bridge for real food.
The service was excellent and the meal was very good. Tasty but not too spicy or too much heat. Ill be back for more.
I am impressed by this little shopping center Thai restaurant. The food is incredible, and the service is excellent. I love the lay out of the place, the soft music, and the atmosphere, its all relaxing and inviting. Food is hot and fresh when it comes out.
Best thai around! I’d stay away from mixed drinks. The wine prices are great and the meals are plenty and the best around. It was our first time here and we can’t wait to come back!
Enjoyed the sweet & sour chicken lunch special. Good flavor, not too sweet. Attractive presentation. Very relaxing, clean space and attentive staff. Quick service.
If you’ve been thinking about checking this place out, DO IT. ASAP. It’s definitely a hidden gem. We went for dinner on a Friday night and I’m honestly shocked that it wasn’t packed. Definitely try the Thai iced tea. We ordered (and lovedthe fresh rolls (amazing), Thai sweet and sour chicken, and the pineapple curry salmon. I’m going to dream about that salmon forever. The staff was attentive and the restaurant was clean. We will be back!
Food was perfectly delicious. Waiter was very attentive. Never felt rushed even though we sat out a thunderstorm in the dining room.
Menu with many good choices, Happy Hours with special prices until 6pm. Food was absolutely delicious with many Vegan entries available.
Tried it for the first time with drunken noodle with chicken, curry with beef and special lamb coconut curry. Coconut milk tin opened and poured into the curry destroying the flavors. The special lamb coconut curry was like a soup and just too sweet. The drunken noodles were good and the chicken curry dish was full of oil . Thai dishes are supposed to be bursting with flavor and spices sadly this food was not authentic to that level. Very average Thai food and not spicy at all. Having lived in Thailand this food is well below par and seems like it’s Chinese food trying to be Thai food or is the chef not from Thailand !
The best Thai restaurant in the area. The food is not the same as other places. They take care with the presentation and ingredients. We will definitely be back even though its out of the way for us.
Wonderful surprise to find this Thai restaurant off the highway in Delaware. Wonderful service and excellent food!
Delicious food! Wonderful service and great ambiance! Loved our stop. Due to covid, we ordered ahead and the food was served as soon as we sat in to dine...:Focus on custom experience was excellent!
A great place for good food. Good friendly service, clean dining area, great tasting food.I am making this my new goto.
Great food and service. First time trying the place and we were impressed . Tried the red and paneng curry and it was delicious. I will come back.
Terrific! After moving to Bethany Beach we have been looking for a Thai restaurant. This place is amazing. The service was great; fast and courteous. Food was excellent! We got the lunch portions and almost had leftovers. My wifes choice was as good as mine, so I finished hers. 😇 I cannot say enough good things about the place. Is it dinner time yet? We will definitely be coming back. . . ...often!
Really good food. Medium spicy was not very hot, but they do give you spices to make it more spicy. My only complaint is the ratio of food to rice. I got a teddy bear shaped pile of rice and it was cute, but I took up half the plate and was way to much. They then gave less of the main dish.
The food ranges from decent to good. However, the service needs to be improved upon. Our waiter wasnt rude, but it appears he never received training on how to do his job. Three of us went to lunch, one person order two appetizers instead of an entree. We asked that all of the food arrive at the same time, but the aps arrived before the rest of the food, so we sat and watched our friend eat his lunch. After he was finished eating, our food was delivered to the table. After we all had finished our food, the dirty/empty plates were never removed from our table. This place could really benefit from some adult supervision.
Delicious food. Nice atmosphere! Although its very quiet because of the pandemic.
Actually 3.5 stars because my gf didnt think the potstickers were much different than dumplings. I loved the yellow curry but medium isnt spicy. Its rather mild but they are in the middle of North Americans on the east coast. I loved the fresh rolls and mango sweet sticky rice. The service was beyond excellent, a young woman waited on tables on a not very busy Tuesday night before Valentines day.She was attentive and soft spoken yet fast to put in orders, answer the phone for delivery orders or perhaps take out. I was very pleased with my pretty large portions and my rice came out in the shape of a heart.I thought that was cute and a nice touch.
Came here while waiting for an appointment. The lady was very friendly and my food came out super fast. Clean, I ordered shrimp pad Thai. I wanted it hot but wasn’t hot enough for me😀. At 12.30pm it was very quite.
We were driving to OC and came across this place. It was so good we hit it again a few days later on the way back! The food was flavorful without being too spicy. The Curry Noodles with chicken was our favorite!
When I was here, there was very few people there. I cant figure out why, because the food was delish. It does not disappoint. This is the chicken pad Thai.
Adding this to my list of places never to visit again. (The waiter, though, was a respectful, awesome young man.Apparently, Thai Teriyaki Chicken simply consists of soy sauce poured over small pieces of breaded chicken. There also is no atmosphere indicative of the rich Thai culture. The owner, though present, never even acknowledged us (despite there only being 2 parties in the entire establishment). A horrible place run by horrible (businesspeople.
We are VEGAN and they served us SweetNsour Tofu with Pinapple and fried rice..SoooooooGooooood!
We have really enjoyed the food both times that weve eaten there. However, if you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. Both times weve gone it is taking a little while to get our food. The atmosphere is nice and if youre not in a hurry its not a big deal. However, if youve got young kids who are "starving" it would be nicer if the food came faster. With that being said, both my children love the food at Thai Bistro.
