They were very nice and accommodating and the food was delish
Big fan. Been going here for years at this point and it never disappoints. Whether you’re a huge fan of Thai food or have never tried it, I think Thai Thai would be a great place to go. I’ve taken friends here that have never tried Thai food before who ask if we could go again before we even leave. Really great. If you’ve never had Thai before this would be a fantastic place to start
Can never go wrong with Thai Thai. Ive never had any bad food from here. Everything Ive ordered is delicious. Even their water is super crisp. But I prefer the Thai tea.
love the Tom yum soup ! and the beef salad!
Great menu and a excellent staff. Service was fast and food was well prepared. We all tried new dished. From Fish cake appetizer to salads and dinners. Everything was great with enough to take some home.
the service was amazing and the food was the best thing Ive ever had. Definitely recommend it!
We were here tonight and omg the food was so delicious. Never had Thai till today and I can say its oh so good. Will be back. ❤️ and the staff were so friendly too. 🙄
Loved their curry, wonderful blend of sweet and spicy, plenty of food to satisfy. The Thai coffee is pleasant and smooth, and is something to come back for.
Great service and food!
Food was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING and the service was equally EXCELLENT! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend you attend! Get the Thai Spring Rolls and Pad See Aew!
Good food at affordable price. The restaurant is clean and very welcome. I definitely recommend.
We visited Thai Thai around 6:30 on a Friday night, and there was plenty of seating available. Our server was very pleasant and wasnt afraid to engage in small conversation. The Thai Dumplings was a unique and pleasant appetizer which featured steamed wontons filled with crabmeat, pork, chicken and shrimp, with a sweet black sauce. The Tom Kha Gai was a spicy soup bursting with a variety of flavors, to include coconut, lemon, lime and chili, among others. The Pad See Aew is a soy-based dish with flat noodles and your choice of beef, chicken, and pork, along with Chinese broccoli and egg. The dish was delicious and VERY filling! The Drunken Noodle dish included flat noodle with your choice of chicken, pork, beef. The plate also included broccoli, onion, tomato, bell pepper, egg, chili, basil leaves. The meal was ordered with medium spice, which had enough heat to make it enjoyable. You can ramp up the heat if you so choose. All in all, a very enjoyable dining experience. The menu has many unique and appealing meals, which makes a return here inevitable.
Always great Thai. Very friendly staff. BYOB
Pineapple fried rice is too expensive, but I only saw few pieces of pineapple 🍍. The rice is not good. And its too sweet for me.
OUTSTANDING! A comprehensive selection of perfectly prepared Thai dishes, wonderful atmosphere, and great service. In downtown W-B???? What a gem!
Great service and food! I came here for my birthday today and the staff was amazing, and the food was delicious. They brought me the best fried ice cream while they sang and had me dance with them!
I love this restaurant! One of my favorite Thai restaurants ever! You cant go wrong with the food and everything Ive ever eaten there is phenomenal!
We had a group of four.. hardly anybody was in the restaurant service was slow and the food was cold I thought this was such a good place but I dont think I will return.
Great place to eat amazing staff and the food is delicious
Dude, this food is incredible. My dad and I get lunch here once per week for like the past 2 years, and not once have we been disappointed (Ive tried just about everything on the menu). The workers are the sweetest people too, and they know me by name. Their yellow curry is now my favorite food and the most delicious thing Ive ever had the pleasure of eating. Im not joking, its a game changer. Apparently they dont sell it in gallon jugs which is rather unfortunate ):
Absolutely delicious! Staff was very nice and the portions were pretty big!
Lovely place and food is excellent. The staff is so sweet and proud of their restaurant as they should be. They also accommodate well for people with gluten allergies but I would be careful if you have penut allergies because that food naturally has a lot peanuts involved.
Very nice atmosphere, great Thai food. Service was quick and attentive. Drunken noodles were cooked perfectly and so tasty. My red curry with shrimp was excellent. This place is great to BYOB. Overall, I highly recommend.
a great place always. found it by chance, my wife has medical people nearby we live an hour away. but everytime we come down here we stop for a meal. they are so nice here and the food is fantastic. one of the happiest restaurants Ive ever been in.
Delicious! The noodles and soups was great.Salad from the chef was not so good, but I tried new sauce, that why I not regret .Was a little bit expensive for our family. For 3 people $100.
Nice atmosphere and fantastic service!! First time having Thai cuisine but, luckily we had a veteran Thai diner with us to guide us. All the food (we ordered multiple appetizers and soups as well as a few dinnerswas fantastic. Even the deserts were unique and delicious. All for a very reasonable price. Couldnt be happier!!
We ordered takeout from Thai Thai in Wilkes-Barre, and the only positive aspect of the meal was how quickly the food was ready. We ordered the Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry. It smelled like dog food! We each tried our own meals and tasted each others meals to be certain. The Pad Thai was bland. The Massaman Curry had a strange taste and the rice that came with it was tasteless. But again the biggest issue was the smell, and we just could not get past it to eat the food. We love Thai food and know this is not standard. We ended up throwing away $30 worth of food. We will not be ordering from Thai Thai again and would not recommend it to anyone.
I dined in here with my daughter and my mom. Their orders tasted good but the pad se ew I ordered was super sweet 🤮, it was terrible. Pad se ew is my favorite Thai food so Im really disappointed , I wont go back.
I had the Emerald Salmon and it was so wonderful. The sauce was just awesome, and the whole dish pretty perfect. Great service too. Thank you!
A great Thai in Wilkes Barre. Great food.
I mentioned my boyfriends birthday and they just smiled. Before we left, they shut the lights off and had great music playing as they sang a birthday song to him! All dishes, sides, desserts and individual personalities were amazing!
First time eating here and Ill be back for sure. Delicious food and a great open layout allowing for social distancing.I had drunken noodles and I definitely recommend it but listen to the waiter if they tell you to go light on the spiceyness.Ive always enjoyed spicey/hot things so I initially told the waitress give me a level 4 spiceyness (scale is 1-5).She immediately advised me of other patrons who had been telling her that the batch was poignant and suggested I go with a level three.I reluctantly went with the level three and graciously thanked her after I finished my meal. Level three was more than sufficiently spicey as my tongue screamed at me for the next 20 minutes.
Best Thai food in the Valley in my humble opinion. Staff and owner have always been superb. The place is super clean, food is always consistently delicious. By far, a gem. Glad I found this place several years ago. Always a treat eating here. 5 stars!
I ordered beef broccoli with fried rice after I bite the meat it was really dry and there was no taste of the meat. The rice wasnt even fried rice it was whole grain rice which wasnt my order, when I had a bite of that broccoli I just spit it out it wasnt cooked well. The cashier lady didnt understand and speak English that well so I spend almost 15-20 min explaining how my order should be. I actually felt bad for paying 10 bucks for a lunch that was horrible. I will never waste money or my time!!! I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!!
This place was open. Food was pretty good had a sweet and sour entree. Service was really good. Wife and I enjoyed a sit down dinner for once in a few months. The staff and attentiveness to social distancing and cleanliness was quite high. Its a shame that they may be operating at a loss due to Covid.
We came here for dinner while on vacation after reading about how amazing this restaurant was and I must say, they were right. The atmosphere is casual yet romantic and cozy, and service was extremely fast. Everything we ordered was delicious me flavorful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you love Thai food or want to try something different and authentic!
My fiance and I dont have much opportunity to get good diverse food, but Ive had Thai cuisine before and imma tell ya... this place was AWESOME!! And the employees/people that run it were extremely nice!!! Keep up the great work, Im hoping to get back very soon!!
Fantastic Thai food. The curry is just the right level of spicy. The pineapple fried rice was terrific. The Thai iced tea was like a desert.
First time experience! If I were ever come back to the area, I would make this a stop! Friendly staff. Great selection!! Pleasant atmosphere.
The interior design of the restaurant is very beautiful and it feels like a fine dining establishment. Staff were friendly upon our entry but then it took them awhile to take our order and we could see them just standing around. We got the gold triangles which were tofu and went well with the dipping sauce. I got the vegetarian red curry and the other person got the vegetarian kra pow. They did ask us if we wanted them to use fish sauce with it and we declined. I have never been asked that before when ordering curry, so I appreciated that. I thought that the food was good, I was so hungry I ate all of it. But I felt as though there is a different Thai restaurant I prefer. Also the street parking was a bit of a hassle but we made it work. Overall I would recommend this place for the Wilkes Barre area since my favorite one is in Scranton.
Excellent ribeye salad and mango sticky rice pudding.Pass see ew was a bit bland.Nice chili plate though with fresh pickled peppers.
I love Thai food! That being said, I am VERY particular. This place, ALWAYS, has friendly, accommodating and an ALWAYS smiling staff. Theyre knowledgeable and make menu and drink recommendations, if you need or ask. The atmosphere is GREAT! It gets pretty crowded here, at times, so make sure (especially on a Fri/Sat nightyou make reservations. Its NOT necessary, BUT they DO accept them. Itll help you ensure a spot/table. I remember, the first time I went here, it was packed, and we were asked if had a reservation. We were hungry & already missed 2 opptys to previously dine, so we seized the moment, spur of the moment. The ONLY table they did have was close to the door, but we took it. The chicken and shrimp Pad Thai (YES, they give you BOTH in ONE dish, for the price of what you pay for JUST chicken, alone!!Think its $12.99! The mango drink (non alcoholicis good. The Dumplings & Mermaid appetizers, also delicious, w/ great dipping sauces to compliment EACH! A MUST visit!
First time there. Food was delicious and staff friendly and helpful. We will be back.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, quality of food very good, presentation good and prompt service
Love this place! The staff is always awesome. The food is amazing. Its a little on the pricy side.
Visiting Pennsylvania from California this week and we decided to have lunch here and I had a wonderful time! They were very helpful regarding my vegan diet and made sure everything that I had ordered was vegan and animal product free :the pad see aew I had? 🔥🔥 so good, so much flavor!!! The best one Ive had and Ive had A LOT of Thai food 💖 I wish I got a picture but I started eating as soon as it came bc it looked so good and I totally forgotEdit: I went again today and got a picture!!! But the picture isnt posting :(
Great food. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was cozy, surprisingly quiet and elegant. Portions were perfect. Our order arrived promptly and as ordered. I recommend the Thai tea. You can bring your own alcohol if you like. A shot of Black spiced rum would be excellent in the Thai tea! We felt welcome the entire time and never once felt rushed. This place is recommended!
Extremely fast and amazing service. Food was absolutely delicious and is every time I come to this restaurant.
Nice staff and good food. The Thai Iced Tea was burnt.
Great service and delicious veggie pad Thai. I recommend also the Tom yum soup.
