Really cool spot, drinks are reasonably priced, it was packed when we went but not insanely.

The bar is really nice, I enjoy the atmosphere. DJ was playing good music (not sure which DJ it was). Bathrooms are very clean too.

Dress up for this night spot. Has a mix of older and younger folks. Late night kitchen, I recommend the sliders.

Out of 3 of us we received 1 of our drinks and after waiting 25 minutes and finishing the average tacos we canceled the rest of the order and left. I get it was busy but isnt it the same every weekend? Yes it is so no excuses just slow service. May give them1 more try and if the do better Ill add another star.

My new favorite place. Walking in you see the warm decor. It feels secluded. Beautiful bar, huge comfortable seating, excellent service and unbelievably good food. It was a wonderful experience. Cant wait to go back and introduce my friends.

We were in there early and it was empty, which actually worked well for us, by the time we left it was busy and bumpin. Good drinks, good service, good atmosphere.

Quick service, and kind wait staff. I had the bacon wrapped stuffed grilled cheese and pasta Mac salad amazing! With a cheese fondue for two. Definitely coming back. I would recommend you do so too. Youre welcome.

I love the more upscale, not-too-loud vibe of Boardroom. The new small bites menu that changes from week to week has been delicious! Drinks are all top quality, fresh ingredients. Looking forward to how they bring back the nightclub scene!

The manager was rude; I was ignored. It was my birthday and I was going to tip over a 100 percent and I asked two bartenders to take shots with me and neither of them would. The service was not worth it.

Had a lot of fun here with good friends. Great music and the atmosphere was nice. Plus they have a patio!

Good music for dancing, but the crowd is very young. Not busy until around 10pm or later.

The music was good. It was way to croweded and was to hot. Not alot of ventaliation. The drinks were ok

Good music only down side is that its harder then other places to get a drink at the bar.

Accidentally forgot to pick up my card on a Saturday night with friends but I did close out my tab, I just forgot to grab my card. It was $40 dollars and I signed for and zeroed out the tip since I tip with cash when I have it available. After checking my bank statements and confirming, one of the bar tenders from that night refunded my $40 dollars then proceeded to recharge me again for $47.42 (original $40 plus a $7.42 tip). I was advised to come back to get this matter resolve once a manager was in later today which I will and I strongly hope something is done to not only fix this matter but fix it from ever happening again as this is considered theft to me! If you pay with card, check your bank statements people!

Nightlife is early 20s to 30s. Ladies dress up and wear heels and drinks start at $5 for beer. Guys are dressed up as well. Security checks ids and wands you with metal detector.

This comment is based on the security/ bouncers. Thier friendly and kind enough to walk the workers from the hair salon next door to their cars after dark when parked in the alley.

Great bar usually packed cant really get thru the crowd but if you like that type of atmosphere this is the place for you awesome bar and the DJ is usually decent go here a few times a month

Great music , but not much room to dance if you love to dance ,dress code in forced colour shirt.

Its fun, a little pricey, tight in space so it appears to be slammed. Not many options in modesto so if youre looking for a place thats a little nicer, this might be the spot for you.

Laid back atmosphere. Large setting with a DJ and dance floor. There is a dress could so dress to impress. Make sure you have your ID and the bouncers pay you down.

Good for dancing only after around eleven pm, then its not so good for talking. The bartenders are awesome.

I always enjoy coming to the Boardroom. Friendly staff, great DJs, and reasonable drink prices.

This was our first visit to the Boardroom. We headed to fundraiser for the shire community space, but found out it had been cancelled. There only IPA was Lagunitas and they didnt have any porter or stout. Our beers were served in the bottle and we werent even asked if we wanted a glass. Since there was only one other customer, he certainly wasnt too busy to offer us good service. Doubt well be back.

Great place for music but becareful with what you order; Crown Royal and 7up was under $10 but when I ordered hulk it was $25

Transport this bar to Hollywood or the French Quarter and they would be raking cash like Fall leaves but its in Modesto and the kitchen closes after lunch M-Th. Easy to walk to, drinks are pricey for again MODESTO, the Speakeasy a few blocks south is better if just for drinks.

Really nice place, very friendly crowd. The drinks are good to, you can actually taste the liquor in them.

Pretty good hip-hop music but the place is a little small so it gets uncomfortably packed quickly and the dance floor is too small for a crowd. Hip-hop crowd. Bartenders do their best to keep up but are sweating and running the entire time. Fight broke out while we were here but the security handled it ok but it was a little bit of a scene. Door security was nice and very watchful!

This used to be a popular place to grab a drink after work. Now days it plays depressing Elvis music while 6 people drink beer sitting at the bar.

Nice upscale night club for the 21 & up good DJs and bar tenders are interactive with the crowd.

I would like to be contacted by owner. The security was overly aggressive for the situation causing a bigger escalation. The men outside in jeans and badges are not Modesto police department officers after claiming they where, when asked for a supervisor they questioned why instead of contacting a supervisor. The real Modesto pd was called and the supervisor was talked to where we received the confirmation that the men where not Modesto pd. I will never return to this establishment, Ive been a repeat customers but have never seen this level of disrespect from security. This situation should have never happened it was close to closing and everyone was leaving. The amount of brutality happening around the nation is large an establishment should not give a reason to show themselves in the light of someone encouraging overly aggressive authority. Like said in the being of the comment I would like the owner to contact me or I will go out of my way to contact them

The Boardroom is a great place to enjoy a nice cocktail without all of the nightclub/bar drama. The crowd ranges in age from late 20s to early 50s. Very upscale place. Another plus is live music on the weekends. And, the music is not so loud that it interferes with conversation.

This is a great place for lunch, I dont know why more people havent discovered it. There is parking which is hard to find downtown. The fondue is to die for. Fresh salads, tasty little pizzas. I havent been to The Boardroom at night, when I suspect it is more like a bar, but during the day for lunch its a gem.
