Delicious food and beautiful people who provide it! Highly recommend soups, salad bowls and açaí bowl-mahalo!
Really good acai bowl. Vegan and vegeterian options!
Excellent service, good acai bowls
Delicious acai bowl and drinks. Highly recommend! Best acai
We loved this place. We got great drinks here (ginger cane juiceand the owner was very kind and friendly.
Amazing açai bowls, the best I have had
The gentleman that waited on us was the most friendly and pleasant man! The acai bowl was fabulous!! After hiking, stopped back for "the best smoothie in Maui," absolutely was the best!!!
Best food I had in Maui! My kids and wife aren’t vegan but loved the soups and açaí so much we had to come back and get more.
🥭🍍🥥Beautiful🙌and delish😋 food☆Awesome, fun people! Thank you for the smiles!
Açaí bowls were so good we had to go back for a second meal. Awesome honey, granola and fruit topped off these delicious bowls. Also, they have the friendliest staff - such a welcoming, happy crew! We will definitely be back.
Great service, fast and these bowls are so good and healthy. I love the options. Go local !!
First time going in and the man working was so rude. I asked where the menu was and he acted like I had interrupted his day and that it was such an inconvenience to even ask and not know what I wanted. When “shown” where I could find the menu, I was asked if I had been there before, which I said no. I was going to check the menu out on my phone but he was so rude about me wanting a menu that I just left. Why bother having an establishment if you don’t want people to come and support your business and food? You do know that newcomers come to try out a place and this is the treatment? So unprofessional.
This was honestly one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. And Ive had a lot of sandwiches. The staff were so nice too, have us so many recommendations for other vegan places to eat on the island. Couldnt recommend Farmacy enough!
This Farmacy Club is the best vegan sandwich on the island. However, its much better than the other options Ive tried on their menu, including a smoothie, juice, and another carrot-based sandwich. I will go out of my way to just get this sandwich again.
LOVE this place, staff is amazing and the açai bols are incredible!
We were highly suggested this place from some friends because they said they had some really solid açaí bowls... and I am always looking for some really good açaí bowls! From all the past places we have visited for açaí in Hawaii, I have been pretty disappointed, but we were told that the açaí here was some good stuff. At first, it was very confusing on how to order, and what was available, but the super pleasant and nice gent behind the counter helped us through everything. We got a wai side bowl with mango, pineapple, and bananas, and then a cacao bowl with pineapple, blueberries, and bananas. The amount you get for the price is really good, and they really pack in a lot of amazingly tasty, juicy, and big pieces of fruit! The fruit was also insanely fresh, and I could eat the fresh fruit all day any day. The other fixings in the bowl were also really fresh and really solid. Now, the actual açaí, the star of the dish was not bad at all. Ive had a few açaí bowls prior to coming here, and I was highly disappointed in those, but the açaí here completely blows out the past açaí I have had on the islands. The açaí has a pretty good consistency, even though it was more on the watery side, it was still somewhat thick and has that sorbet consistency that I love. The taste itself was pretty good too, and I could definetly taste a little açaí in the mix.Overall, I wasnt disappointed, and this was by far the best açaí we had on Maui. I love the quantity of what you get, and I love the amazing fruit on it. Definetly if you are in the area, you should give this place a shot, because they also have a wide variety of other meals as well.
Tasty place for a vegetarian meal. Quick service. No indoor seating just a small bench outside. A little grossed out because i saw a roach but i know thats common in tropical climates
This use to be my favorite place. I had the saddest acai bowl I’ve ever had today. Were out of the ingredients that make the acai bowls so special and delicious. And the guy working there was insanely insanely rude! As much as I wanted to support this local business, I just can’t anymore. I would tell all of my friends and clients to go here and now I can’t after this experience!
I had the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my life today from these guys. A tofu egg sandwich on home made bread. For emphasis, I haven’t written a google review in years. It was that good.
Tasty açaí bowls but the fresh pressed juice was just alright. Could use some recommended options instead of just allowing you to choose whatever you want.
Very delicious. Very kind who work there. Will be back again and again.
Wow Wow Lemonade used to be my jam for acai bowls, but for the price and quality, Farmacys bowls are superior. The Country Cacao Bowl is bliss. The Farmacy burger was also very good and they do a decent BBQ jackfruit. Great location in downtown Wailuku. Highly recommend.
I got the BBQ jackfruit sandwich on focaccia with cheese, and lentil potato soup. They were both absolutely delicious.I was actually heading to a different sandwich spot down the road when I walked past this place. It smelt so enticing, I ended up eating here instead. The person at the counter was pleasant and helpful. I asked him what he recommended and he suggested the BBQ jackfruit sandwich. It was a little pricey but its pandemic times and small restaurants are going out of business so I think the price is appropriate to keep places like this afloat. It was also very filling so it lasted two meals which made it a lot more bang for my buck (and I have a large appetite!).I was only in town for a shopping trip so Im sad I wont be able to buy food from here more often but if youre in the area, its definitely worth a try! Healthy and delicious.
If youre interested in healthy or vegetarian food, you may be tempted to stop here when youre in Wailuku or Pukalani. Let me save you time, money, and frustration by suggesting that you choose something else. This place has never had their game together even before pandemic regulations made it even worse. Now all ordering is done online, slowing down the already sluggish service. They messed up our drink order(so I paid 8 dollars for a limeade I didnt order), and the food left a lot to be desired. It was garlicky even for me, and I love garlic, the salad dressing is nothing but blended garlic and oil( seriously). We waited a half hour for 2 sandwiches even though we were the only people foolish enough to patron this place at that time. We dropped 50 bucks plus tip,(2 sandwiches and 2 drinksand werent filled or satisfied by this meal. To sum up, the menu is uninspired, the service is lousy, and the price is disproportionately high. We wont waste time or money here again.
Everything here is delicious! Ordered bbq jackfruit sandwich and health shot. The focaccia is house made and it is amazing! Got to chat with the owner for a moment and he is super friendly. Would recommend ordering online ahead of time, it’s cheaper than ordering in the store but it takes a couple extra minutes. Can’t wait to come back!
i love this place- the food is so good and I really feel better energy after i eat here- Ive been going here for years and i never get tired bc there is always new food and its always completely different flavors! the smoothies (Maui girl (so goodand the jack fruit tacos & the roaster are my current favorites - They ARE open during the shut down! thank you thank you!
We literally arrived when they were technically closed, but they still let us place an order. The food is ALWAYS fresh, healthy, and most importantly taste amazing. Thank you for the option of yummy food in Wailuku. Much appreciated.
Words cant describe my experience here. The warmth of the staff, the flavours of the food (Pono bowls and burgers with vegan cheese...and the best acai bowls Ive had on the island. The menu is simple and delicious. Go eat there.
Made the trip to Wailuku to try out the food at Farmacy.Polite and friendly staff who were patient and helpful in my indecisive mood. Food was tasty and fresh. Fresh Coconut water with lime and ginger was great but my sister got a juicy beverage which made me jealous. Starfruit is now my favourite! Thank you from London, UK.
No lamb or venison???? I was pleased to see they use compostable or biodegradable bowls etc. So few places do so its really nice to know its possible on Maui! More places should so kudos for that! I sought this place out because word of mouth it had fantastic reviews on the lamb and venison (knowing they were veggie primary). However this is apparently only at the up country location due to pressure from the vegans(?Disappointing. I dont judge them... they can eat how they want. I like having a choice that includes avoiding too much soy and getting a filling meal without resorting to a massive amount of carbohydrates. I settled on a pono bowl. It involved coconut cauliflower soup with quinoa on the bottom and a salad on top. The salad was nice with a dollop of goat cheese but the soup and quinoa were too bland for me. I do tend to enjoy more seasoned / zesty meals though. I asked for hot sauce and got a little container of something that resembled pink applesauce. It was seasoned but doesnt count as hot sauce. Peppers are a vegetable right? I was also confused by the menu which seems to list the meat items even though they are not available. I asked the staff why they did this - instead of maybe graying out the items that are NOT available. Apparently the owner prefers the menu to be confusing. Will try the upcountry location when if i can.
Delicious and healthy food. Good prices. Good for both savoury and sweet stuff. Very friendly service and they will kindly explain the ingredients if your not familiar with the food. Eco friendly place with provision of real cutlery or compostable ones.
One of our favorite places for Acai Bowls on Maui.
Fantastic staff, venue, and location!! The Farmacy is a great place to come and get the islands BEST Acai bowls, smoothies, and fresh grub!! I highly recommend this place to all!! I supplied photos to the updated menu, and articles!
TLDR; AMAZING ACAI Bowl, cute size names, Honolua Pretty Bowl is where its at, if you have an allergy stress it when ordering, Expensive (Pretty bowl $10 without tax and cost of blueberries.Let me start by saying, Im not really into Acai bowls but Farmacy has changed the way I view Acai Bowls. The worst part about having the best of something means that you can only come back to one place to get it again. Since I left Maui, Ive been really craving Acai bowls, but no where else makes it as amazing as Farmacy!!!I heard about this place from my friend the night before, but when we tried to go, it was sadly closed. I waited patiently for the next day to come to try it! There was plenty of parking on a Sunday afternoon on the side of the road. The store is a little small and has limited seating, but if you get there early enough, youll have a seat by window. The sizes small, medium, and large have cute names; Baby, Pretty, and Papa respectively. The size of the bowl also dictate how many fresh fruit toppings are allowed, like a pretty bowl allowed me 3 choices while the baby bowl only allowed me 2. The different sized bowls also means they are different prices, the prices in my opinion was a little expensive for an acai bowl, but I thought it was quite worth it. I ordered the Pretty Honolua Acai Bowl with blue berries, strawberries, and Lilikoi. Seeing as Im slightly allergic to Cashews (an Oral Allergy), I asked for the granola on the side and not to be put into my Acai bowl because it contained toasted Cashews. When I got my bowl, It ended up having granola all over the bowl. Dont get me wrong, the bowl was looked amazing and was ready for its close up. Being adventurous, I tried the granola and my reaction to the allergen wasnt so bad with the acai mixture. So I continued eating it, It was THAT good. My allergic reaction wasnt too severe, just an itchy tongue :(. Besides that mishap, the bowl was amazing!!! It was worth getting an itchy tongue for an hour! The acai mix at the bottom was really good and fresh not like the back of a freezer like some smoothies Ive had in the mainland. Its made with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, coconut milk, macadamia nut milk, aloe vera, and sugar cane juice. Their granola was fantastic, not so fantastic if you are allergic to it, but it was still delicious and really crunchy! The rest of the toppings, (Local Honey and Goji Berrieswere the perfect pairing with this bowl.I definitely plan on coming back the next time im in Maui but I will have to reiterate to have the macadamia nut granola on the side.
Great local spot. They had good acai bowls and very fresh fruit.
Club sandwich with popcorn tofu was savoury and delicious. Friendly family run counter service. They should start a chain!
Ingredients were so fresh and delicious! The young prince salad looked so good I ordered it for breakfast!!!! It was amazing! Clean, fresh healthy food! A definite jackpot find! We will be back before we leave the island!
Very friendly staff. We had some questions about beaches and the weather. They were totally open minded. When we were there, the weather was bad. So we decided to ask the staff at which beach the weather could be good. Afterwards the cooker phoned a friend of him to check the weather at a certain beach. That was awesome. In addition we were so happy that the bar offers just vegan food. So good! They offer gluten-free dishes too.
This is an awesome place to eat and drink the healthiest goodies on Maui. The staff is really friendly and helpful. You can go savory or sweet or anything in between. Tastes great and really good for you.Come for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Youll be happy you did. See ya there. The venison burger is the bomb... so Good and healthy. I washed it down with their alkaline water. Yummy
Love the play on words for this eaterys name. Also love their "Pay it forward" board where people donate $3 - $5 to give those in need free meals at the Farmacy.Love their acai bowls... and their hot sandwiches! So much to choose from... keeps me coming back! Also like the 5 star rewards program... accumulates your points for free various items (health shots, acai bowls, etc).I usually call my order in so that I dont have to wait a long time for the food.Heads up: do not park in front of the eatery... (loading zone)... if a cop drives by, they will give you a parking ticket.Food 5Service 5Decor & Ambiance 4Cleanliness 3.5
It is a wonderful intention to have more healthy food options, but there has been an issue here almost every time I go. There is one ordering area so if the person ordering is having trouble, asking questions, or taking a while to order the line just backs up out the door and they do nothing. Smoothies are very thin, not thick. Portions are small. If you have food allergies, like dairy, beware. They have put cheese on items when I told them I was allergic and they took some off the top and gave it back to me to eat with cheese still in the salad. I think the one in Pukalani is a little better than the one in Wailuku, but if you can, you are better off eating at home.
If your in search of the perfect Acai bowl look no further it has been created here! I have yet to have one anywhere that can top it. I highly recommend the Pono bowl that has a perfectly textured light layer of delicious Poi on the bottom establishing a yummy harmony 😋 tbt Im not even a Poi eater but after having it this way its a must or they just seems incomplete! Also their eggplant sandwich is scrumptious!
Amazing food. The acai Bowl was so delicious and so fresh with all the fruit aaand honey on top. Also had the homemade soup here. The soup of the day was Curry. That was one of the best Curry soups Ive ever had. Eric is super nice and I wish they had this place in So cal.
Note: Bring your own spoon because they use cheap wooden shave ice style spoons.I came here on my daily search for Acai Bowls because they have good reviews online and were the closest place to me on this beautiful and hot Wailuku morning. Parking is a bit hard to get around Main Street so I parked a few blocks away and burnt some calories in anticipation of breakfast. Walking in I thought the place had a very healthy vibe and was looking forward to my acai bowl. The bowl was just average to me, not hating on it or anything, I just expected more....The search for the perfect Acai bowl continues!
Had the roaster sandwich. Very tasty. Hippy laid-back feel of service you would expect, manager cared about good food preparation for clients. Sandwich was so good got a smoothy to go, cacao something also good not too sweet.
Love this place! We had the Paia and Pono sandwiches that were tasty along with Acai bowls and smoothies. All excellent!
we had a very delicious soup and creative acai bowl. the smoothie was very good as well. good atmoshpere inside but no possibity sitting outside. prices rather hight. but 5 stars for the food quality.
This is one of my favorite places to stop and get something yummy to eat! Wether its a wai side acai bowl, or some of their yummy soups! They never let me down. Of course its not a fast food restraunt so do expect to wait around 15-20 mins for your Acai bowl to be made, they take their time to make it perfect each and every time. You can always do a take out order if your in a rush, so you can just pay and pick it up. But other then that, always check out their specials! I had a green lentil vegetable soup and it was sooooo delicious! And was served with water and a slice of bread! They sometimes sell fresh fruits in their shop which is awesome! And do look into their "pay it forward" program! You can always do a good deed and pay for a meal for someone who needs one. And if your short on money, or living pay check to pay check, take advantage of the "pay it forward" program. Its so awesome what their doing! great food, and chill service!
I totally agree with Daniel happy land. Usually I dont write these kind of reviews, but Ive had the same poor service on multiple occasions ordering acai bowls. On this particular visit I was enticed to come back by an offer through their star rewards program. The offer said "bogo free any acai bowl" but at the register. I was only given a buy one get one half off deal. (I saved a screen shot but pics dont appear to be supported here). I even checked with the server before paying.... "I thought it was buy one get one free". Nope. Then we had to wait the customary more than 15 minutes for them to be made, while others who came in behind us were already getting their food. Its starting to be a joke among our friends that the service is European style. If it was one time I would ignore it but the last three visits have been disappointing. The food is healthy, fresh, and mostly local.... I just cant imagine why it takes so long to throw some cut up fruit and granola in a bowl. Please use clear language on your deals.
Really yummy healthy food. Service can be slow due to places popularity but counter gal is super friendly. Menu font is ridiculously small. Its barely legible... Just have them read you the choices. A solid choice for lunch.
