I cannot share enough great things about Goddard! My daughter was home for 2.5 years and I was very nervous about her starting a new school. My husband works from home and we were both home with her for the entirety of her life, so she is very close to mom and dad and has a lot of secure attachment. We initially had our daughter join another school, but quickly realized her first week there that it was not a good environment for her to thrive and grow, as she was placed in a classroom full of kids that had yet to learn to talk and my daughter was already having full blown conversations with us. Goddard appropriately selected a classroom that is a perfect fit for our daughter. I am so pleasantly surprised at how well she has been adjusting! The school truly cares about enriching their students’ lives and providing a safe environment for them to learn and grow! The facility is super clean, the teachers are so lovely, and the director, owner, teacher, and administration team have truly made this a warm and welcoming environment. They pay keen attention to detail and safety. Special shout out to Jackie, Vicki, Katerina, and Sarah! You lovely ladies have made Goddard a safe and welcoming second home for our daughter and we are so grateful!
The place was a nightmare my child experience was horrible they fabricated a lie on my daughter even question her illegally and never spoken to me. They also went against their communication policy and called CPS for no reason. Becareful with these young teachers and directors with your child. Even during the graduation I heard parents saying my child is not coming back here.
My daughter has been here for just over a year, she started here because my niece was here for 4 years. From the day we walked in to get information, everyone was super sweet. When I started back to work, I was a nervous wreck and they made the transition very comfortable. I got pictures throughout the day and I was able to call whenever to see how she was doing and she was ALWAYS HAPPY! Everyone knows her name and says Hi. She is loved by everyone there. I couldn’t imagine her going anywhere else. I’ve heard so many horror stories about other places and I am so glad that my daughter is safe and happy here. I couldn’t have picked a better place for her to be.
Hands down an amazing school! I love the teachers and staff. They communicate well and always available when I have questions. They go above and beyond to make sure all my son’s academic needs are met.
My son has been attending The Goddard School of Sicklerville for almost a year. My son is enrolled in the Pre K Jr class and I must say I am so pleased with the staff at Goddard. They’re very thorough with their health/safety protocols. Their communication with my sons weekly performance and activities are impeccable. I am very thankful for the staff, they go above and beyond for my child. The Goddard School of Sicklerville truly show and stand for their values of integrity, inclusiveness and diversity. I highly recommended! 5 stars 😊
I have always loved the Goddard School, from when my oldest son attended from infancy until Preschool. Recently my positive experiences have began increasing with Gooddard, when my younger son who has a speech developmental disability, began to attend in September 2021. Having him attend the school was the best experience he could ever have. Developmentally he began making progress with his speech and social interaction’s, increasing his vocabulary and displaying more positive behaviors in regards to decreasing behaviors of frustration due to inability to express himself. His teacher’s from the Toddler Room to the Preschool Room have been so friendly and have engaged with him in such a positive manner that he wants to attend school everyday! There have even been times when I have picked him up earlier than expected and he doesn’t even want to leave! There are not enough words to express just how grateful I am for him to be able to attend Goddard, they are all amazing people and I am glad that they make my son feel special and cared for each and everyday! His smile speaks for itself! ❤️
I love it here for my daughter. She transitioned so well and she is always excited when I bring her. The entire staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend to other parents.
This is the absolute best school. All of the staff is so loving and caring. Always ready to make your child feel right at home. It has been nothing but a great experience and I couldn’t be happier with this school
Great and Welcoming Place!! My daughter has had a rough time transitioning from being home to in daycare and when i tell you the staff has been nothing short of amazing! They have been so patient since day 1. My one year old started in September and the staff has been great. From the amazing people in the front office to her teachers in the back. I really appreciate the time and patience they have with my daughter. I’ve seen her growth. She verbalizes more and knows a lot thanks to their teaching even at such a young age. Great place!! ❤️❤️
We had our son with family for the first two years of his life and then knew he was probably going to attend public preschool and needed before and after care. We started him full time there and he and my husband and I quickly felt like Goddard was like a second family. I can call to check in, they send photos, they are always so welcoming! He asks to go to school every day. He LOVES Ms Vicki and Ms Sarah at the front and they always reassure mama when the mom guilt is strong lol. He loves his teachers and the director Ms Jackie is so involved and present! They get him on and off the bus, they always communicate! I know he is safe and in good hands. They also sometimes do late nights so parents/guardians can have a date night!!!! We did that this past weekend and he LOVED it!
This is a long review but PLEASE READ!!!! I waited for my daughter (now 2to be at the school a full year before completing a review. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THIS SCHOOL!!! We absolutely LOVE the school. My daughter loves the school as well. She is so excited to go to school and has loved all of her teachers. She started in the First Steps classroom (when she was about 15 months)and was completely obsessed with her teacher Ms. Emily "Emmy". My daughter would ask to see pictures of her and "Emmy" (via Tadpolesall day long. My daughter then went into the Toddler classroom where she, again, adores her teachers! She talks about all three (Ms. Karen, Ms. Tori and Ms. Jordanbut especially loves Ms. Tori! My daughter, from the time she was a baby, disliked being around anybody besides her parents and grandparents and I was absolutely shocked by how attached she became to all of her teachers, which shows how caring and loving they are with her. My daughter has learned sooooo much since being at the school. She counts out loud with everything that she does and is starting to count in numerical order. She knows all the main shapes and colors and does sign language. They do so much more during the day then just coloring and even when they do arts and crafts is educationally driven. The school utilizes the Tadpoles App where they post multiple pictures every single day, along with extremely detailed reports of what the kids did that day and how it applied to education or fine/gross motor skills and daily reports of what they ate and how much, how long they napped, and all diaper changes. With Covid-19, they have taken every precaution possible to ensure the safety of all the kids. The entire school is always very clean and organized. They teach the kids, very young, to wash hands before and after and snack/meal (my daughter constantly wants to wash her hands at home because of how well they have instilled in her the importance of washing hands). There have been very few Covid-19 incidents in my daughters class and each time my daughter tested negative and its never turned into an "outbreak" at the school which attests to their commitment to cleanliness. They even adjusted the tuition when my daughters class had to quarantine (which I know they didnt have to do). The Directors are equally as amazing as the teachers. Ms. Vicki and Ms. Sara are always bubbly when I speak to them on the phone as well as see them every day, they know every childs name and you can tell they are super involved (not just sitting at the desk). The owner, Jackie, is there a lot as well and you can tell she is hands on and supports the teachers and directors. You can tell that all three ladies are invested in the children and truly care for them. I really could go on and on about how great this school is but this review has already became a Novel lol. This was not for any promotion, no tuition discount or anything like that, just a very honest review. Yes, its expensive but not any more expensive than any other school of this caliber in the region. Im so glad we chose to send our little girl here, from the very first tour, I knew in my heart and gut that this was the school for her. I never worry about her safety or well being while she is there. You cant put a price on that type of piece of mind!!
The staff and owner of The Goddard School of Sicklerville are welcoming, professional, and very helpful. I have been familiar with this establishment for many years now due to friends and family sending their children here. I have only heard positive remarks from these families. Having recently become a parent myself, I was looking into sending my own girls to Goddard. My husband and I met with Vicki and we were impressed by her professionalism and kind personality. She was able to explain the schools curriculum to us and showed us so many positive things that the school was starting to do. We were fortunate to see all the beautiful renovations that the new owner had made to the school. Instead of having a "business" feel, this Goddard actually feels like a school should- welcoming and comfortable. We saw so many families coming in and out and most importantly, we saw the smiles on the childrens faces as they showed off their work to their parents/guardians. I can recall one little boy wanting to visit his old teacher before he left. To me, this shows how loved the staff are by the children and this is so important. I love seeing all of the activities that the school does with the children (via social media and email). There are theme days and special activities. The staff are doing their very best to make things "normal" for these children during such a difficult time in our world. Due to our own personal reasons we are not currently sending our girls to daycare/school but The Goddard School of Sicklerville is still our top choice for when the time is right for us.
My family and I will be moving this coming January and I am over the moon to be sending my son to the Goddard school. We toured the school this week; not only is the school extremely clean, everyone is so friendly and professional.I am a bit of a helicopter mom, so I was relieved when the owner sat with me to answer every single question on my list... On top of the few that I thought of later and called the school to have those answered, too. It’s comforting to know there are people working there that care about your children as if they are their own. That is so hard to find. I also loved how the classrooms are filled with kids of all backgrounds! It is so important to me that my child learn inclusion and traditions from other families, not just ours. I was nervous about moving and switching schools, but all that stress has been completely removed. I can not thank the Goddard School enough!
Since google will only allow for one review per email, I needed to add on to my other review (see below all of the suspiciously close together positive reviews and the review from the owner herself...). I wanted to add to my other review that if anyone is truly interested, they can check out the “response” from Goddard on their Facebook page to my review. It’s sad to me that the owner, Jackie S, felt the need to enlist in the recruitment of others (friends and staffto write positive reviews to push my negative review down the list. But I digress. Something else I wanted to add in addition to their response that was given on Facebook was that they stated that they “constructively extinguish unwanted behavior”. This is a joke considering that the student who modeled biting behaviors for my son is still enrolled at their school and is still biting.... funny to me that my child was kicked out, but I guess having a sibling that also attends is one way to stay in the program with no consequences.
The new owners have made so many positive changes. My daughter is 14 months old and in the infant room. Her teachers are all so sweet and she loves being there. I get pictures and emails of the things she did throughout the day, which I love. The owners, directors and teachers are always willing to go above and beyond. If your looking for a positive learning experience, Goddard in Sicklerville is the school!
What a wonderful experience weve had with with Goddard-Sicklerville. Weve had our son there since he was 4 months old and we know he is getting the best care. We get pictures and videos sent to us daily, showing us what he is up to all day. He gets SO excited once we pull into the parking lot because he knows hes going to have a fun day. He gets upset at pick up because he wants to stay! We feel so comfortable with the teachers and directors, we know he is getting the best care. Would highly recommend!
My daughter is a graduate of The Goddard School in Sicklerville. I loved it then and I love it even more now that my Granddaughter attends. The new owners have made so many new and wonderful changes! I highly recommend checking this school out!
Amazing school! Wonderful, friendly and caring staff. Our daughter loves it and so do we. We like it better than the Montessori school she used to attend. Wouldnt take her any other place. The teachers, front office staff, and owners are exceptional people that will make sure all your questions are answered and all your childs needs are met. Your child will not receive better care and love than at this school. Thank you so much to everyone for all you do.
I love everything about this school! Everyone is so friendly and the facility is super clean. My daughter absolutely loves it there! She gets upset when I pick her up each day because she doesnt want to leave! I have no worries during the time that she is there that she isnt in good hands! Shes been there so far for a month and Ive already recommended the place to others that I work with! Best decision that I couldve made for my child!
We love the Goddard School. Kenzie loves the environment there. It’s very clean, well kept, and professional. All the teachers take time to really get to know each kid. I would recommend it to any and every one
I love the hands on approach of all the staff. I’m always greeted and we always feel welcomed. The school responds quickly to emails and they don’t mind parents calling to check on their children throughout the day. Also, I can see exactly what my child is learning on a day to day basis; it’s reflected in her language skills, math skills, and social skills. Lastly, I LOVE the Tadpoles app that lets me see videos and pictures of my daughter throughout the day.
We withdrew our daughter from Children of America. She was very unhappy and cried every morning before the inevitable drop off. When we picked her up that afternoon, we could tell she had cried the whole day. After 3 days of this, we couldnt take it any longer. The first day we picked her up from Goddard, it was night and day. We werent being overbearing parents, Goddard is just that much better than the competition. Dont wait it out like we did.
Love everything! My favorite is the tadpoles app. I love seeing pictures of my son throughout the day and that he’s having fun while learning.
My daughter loves her teachers and so do we. They really take the time to understand her since she was very quiet and conservative when she first started daycare. She is finally breaking out of her shell and it’s really warming to see how excited her teachers are about her coming out and opening up. She is always talking about her teachers at home. I will never have to worry about the care she is receiving.
We love The Goddard School of Sicklerville! The entire atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The owners and directors make you and your child feel like individuals rather than just another number. The teachers are highly qualified and it shows that they take pride in their daily activities with their students. My child has been attending this school for 2 years now and I wouldnt even consider sending him anywhere else. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone! It is a place where you know your child will be safe and cared for while you are away for the day.
2 Stars is to be nice, I would give them less, the beginning was GREAT until we switched classrooms, always new teachers not sure why such a hi turnover, concerns were not addressed by the DIRECTOR after it was reported, I would get into details but it would be too disturbing.
They care more about money than your child
There are no words (in a good wayto describe this facility and the professionalism and kindness of the faculty of this organization. Ive brought my child here to develop his interpersonal skills among other things. The owner immediately embraced us and assisted us to develop these skills. He has developed many skills. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and understanding. I love the empathy that is always revealed also. I would recommend anyone to ENROLL in the THE GODDARD SCHOOL OF SICKLERVILLE. This is truly a one-of-a-kind place!
I am very pleased with the owners and directors and I feel like they do a great job of keeping everyone informed and keeping things running smoothly. I am overly impressed with the teachers (Ms. Vicki and Ms. Marissathat my son has this year. They have gone above and beyond to work with him on potty training in this room, and I am so pleased with the progress he has made. I know this wouldnt have happened without the continued structure at school and dedication they have to him, which is not easy feat considering the amount of kids they work with on a daily basis. They are top notch, and always keep me informed of the progress that hes making, and I feel like I can really talk to them and they listen.
Whenever i have a concern I feel like the management staff take the concern with serious consideration. They also communicate well with me.I LOVE my daughters teacher, Ms Kristina. In just the few weeks shes been lead teacher ive noticed positive behavioral changes in her. My daughter seems more Enthusiastic about what she is learning in the classroom.
My son is currently in the Infant Room at the Goddard School in Sicklerville and I could not be happier that I chose this school! The building itself is beautiful and safe! The owners, director, and staff are warm and accommodating to all of our needs. He is always excited when we pull up to school! He is learning so much at such a young age such as sign language and how to self-feed! I cannot say enough positive things about this school!
My son attends this school and he loves it. I love the school staff and teachers. This school also has a diverse environment in which I always look for in schools. The owners are hands on and very informative about any and everything thats going on at the school. The school itself maybe one of the cleanest schools Ive ever been in.
Great and friendly staff and daughter loves teachers.
Everyone is very dedicated to educating and nurturing the children. Our son has progressed so much since attending this school. He absolutely adores his teachers and the staff there. We like that he is taught with various techniques that help tap into his mind. We love the daily report card so we are able to see what he learned. I have already and will continue to suggest this school to friends in the area for their children. We absolutely made the right choice when deciding to enroll our son here.
After being home with my twin girls for over two years, sending them to school was a very scary thought...for ME. After searching the area for schools, I enrolled my twins at a school close to our home. Well after 3 weeks, I pulled my twins out of the school. They were coming home sick, but not cold sick, sick because of nerves. Every night they were having nightmares that caused them to vomit. This caused my husband and I much concern. We took them to doctors...even had MRIs too rule out tumors. Thankfully they were okay but we could not get them to stop vomitting at night. Perfectly normal during the day. After other isssue with that school, we just had to pull them out. I kid you not...as soon as we did, the vomiting stopped and my twins were back to normal, happy girls. I was very apprehensive about finding another school, but my husband and I needed to work. I always knew Goddard had a good reputation, but thought it would not be affordable. Nevertheless...I needed to find something. I went to check out the Voorhees Goddard and was very disappointed in the cost and school itself. It wasnt bright and cheery...the twins didnt like it either. The Sicklerville Goddard was not near my home, but I thought...it is worth a look. Well...I wish I had come here first. As soon as I walked in the secure, bright and very CLEAN school...I was in love. Of course I was thinking...I can never afford this, but let me look into it anyway. I was so impressed with the way I and the girls were treated by Tracy and Mary. I love the classroom...so big and bright. Their teachers are amazing. The best result...the twins. No anxiety, no sickness and they are doing great. And guess what...I could afford it. Goddard was no more expensive then the lesser school I was taking them too. If you are on the fence...just check out this school. The place is amazing. I will be keeping my twins at Goddard until we move too far away to bring them. I know my children are safe, learning and having a great time with their friends and teachers.
When my daughter was almost ready to start Pre-School, I did my research on which schools, locally, were the best in early learning. I visited a number of facilities and found Goddard School stood out above the other schools, by far. The curriculum, structure, group play, and experienced teachers are exceptional. I am so pleased with our daughters progress since starting Pre-School. She will soon be graduating from Pre-K and moving into Kindergarten with ease. All due to Goddard schooling! I would highly recommend Goddard School any day of the week. : )
We toured the local daycare facilities when my wife was going back to work and as soon as we walked into Goddard I knew that was the place wed use. Now, 2yrs later, my daughter still goes there and we couldnt be happier with our experience there. The faculty is terrific, very professional and caring, plus they take a real interest in our child. Another benefit is how well they manage to teach very young children. My daughter frequently knows new words or signs. They arent just a baby sitter, the kids really learn. Currently, im out of work but we still send my daughter 2 days a week because her time there is that valuable. There were other places that were cheaper, but in my opinion Goddard is WELL worth the extra$$
