The first day I went to The Hess Agency was a great experience. Everyone from the front desk to the agent were so helpful and really walked me through the whole process. It reminds me of a small but big business that takes care of their customers with care. Thank you.

I took my car to the repair shop to get inspected and realized that I did not have the current insurance card with it. The card that I had expired two weeks ago. I emailed Sherri at 8:26am and asked her to email a current copy of the ID card, telling her that I need to get it emailed to the repair shop right away. She replied at 8:34am...8 minutes later with the info that I needed. I was able to forward it to the repair shop and did not have any issues regarding the inspection. This is just one example of the excellent service that I get from the Hess Agency and from Sherri! Very few places would provide that type of quick service!

They lie, the lady I had to deal with for my business insurance is rude an does not listen and does what ever she wants and then blames it on you.Purchased contractors insurance from them it was written in my personal name when I called about it I was told since the llc is a sole proprietor and it was correct. I am not an insurance agency when I needed the insurance I was told by Erie the business was not covered only me presently. I even questioned this when the binder was sent to sign. This lady did not care nor did she want to understand what was needed. When the rubber hit the ground there was no insurance coverage for my sole proprietor llc construction business. Then it was all my fault. Now they want to renew the policy and not add my business the same lady still with attitude. I moved all my rentals away from them and now I am moving by insurance 100% away. I had great service from them for my rental insurance that is why I called them for my business insurance. Never again. Coaching moment for the Company your only as good as your weakest link and she blew it for your company.

Nothing comes to mind at this time, it was quite a while ago.I do remember fast and courteous service when I boughtmy van and when I had to come in to cancel my momsplan(safter she passed away.

On 6/11/20 I called Hess insurance to get a quote off of the recommendation of my wife. My wife had informed me that we had previously used Hess to obtain insurance so naturally I thought it would be a good fit. Upon calling I was connected to Dawn Little and I specifically asked her for just a quote. What proceeded over the next 10 minutes of the conversation were pure evasion and confusion . Naturally this struck me as odd because again I only required a quote to get things moving. Dawn felt the need to express that she didn’t feel comfortable giving me a quote without adding vehicle insurance and several other things. To that I responded if she wouldn’t mind emailing me her requirements so I could obtain them . Her response was she was Very busy and didn’t know when and if she could get it to me. I politely asked Dawn maybe there is someone else who I could get a quote from possibly someone less busy and her response was that Everyone was busy. Again that was 6/11/20 today it is 6/16/20 and still no email or correspondence. I am writing this only as a courtesy to ANYONE who has urgent insurance needs this might not be your person to see. Also that same day within the hour of our conversation someone else had written our policy with no hassle very seamlessly and attentive. Please don’t PREJUDGE people or their needs.

This company is ridiculous! I signed up for 1 year of service for my college apartment. After the 1 year I didnt want their service anymore and received a letter from the Hess Agency saying that if I didnt pay again my service would be discontinued, um duh, thats what I wanted, 1 year of service only! I received another letter yesterday saying that I owed $36 for not calling to cancel. No where on the letters I received did it say anything more than if I dont pay my service will stop.I wouldve had a $500 deductible had I ever even needed their service, which obviously makes this insurance worthless to begin with since Im a college student whom barely has $500 worth of stuff in my apartment.Terrible business practice. Will not be working with Erie Insurance in the future. Would not recommend.
