2022-10-22 😔 you never leave someone sitting at the bar with an empty beer on the ledge especially that it was not a bit crowded and attempted to get the bartenders attention twice that I needed one, to no avail. I think the chicken was missing in my dish as well. Sadly a little more disappointed tonight. It’ll be awhile before we go again. We still gave a 25% tip which is less than what we normally leave since the “ pandemic “.2-6-22. Once again not disappointed. Great service & the best mussels around. Beer is always cold. Of course we always go around out 5. Thanks again.10 -2-2021. It had been a little bit since we came back here but AMAZING SERVICE & FOOD. We wanted to wait for the heavy summer traffic to leave. Mussels are the best around for sure. Both of our dinner sandwiches were yummy as can be. We even had leftovers and not been disappointed. Had a nice conversation with another patron, Adam, as well as the bar attendant and the guy bar attendant was on top of our empty drinks.THANK YOU for being here and wishing you the BEST. Time to bring the grandchildren to the arcade area. 😊 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
I had a great time here with my 7 year old daughter. Very kid friendly during the day
The atmosphere was amazing especially when they started playing music! Erica, the manager was awesome when we had my friends going away party there, very accommodating and friendly!!! I cant wait to go back!!
Its for kids for the most part... they serve alcohol and all, food etc, but again definitely not my scene.
A unique, gotta see it for yourself, place. Cheesesteaks were great! Plenty of retro arcade games to give a try. Skip the nachos, not very good. Sit in the bar (hightopand try your hand at a Nintendo or Atari retro game while you wait for drinks.
Great place to play old school video games. A couple pinball racing and fighting games. 3 or 4 shooter games. New and old school. Pool table. Golden tee etc. Food is bar food but good. Staff is nice. They definitely are catering to the 30-50 age group. We went on a Friday evening they played old school hip hop music. Great time
The food was amazing and the waitress was super awesome. There was a variety of games and inexpensive. The games were old and brought me back to my childhood. The statues around the restaurant were awesome!
Very cool place! Food was good and well priced. Arcade games were very cool. It’s all 80s themed. I absolutely love it. The staff is we’re amazing too.
Cool place to go to , drinks were good , 10 yr old son loved playing the games but the flatbreads pizza tasted/looked like microwaveable .. deff would go to again
Always an option when its rains. Arcade and memorabilia. Boozy milkshakes and a decent happy hour.Kids allowed before 9pm.
Fun place... has personal video games at each table. Food was good, all things considered. What we ordered is not what we received. In her defense, I think the music was too loud for our server to completely hear/ understand what we asked for. Also they stop serving "take out" at 9pm. Even when I said I would be ordering a drink while I waited, I was told no. I had to sit down and order, than ask for boxes as soon as the food came
Bryan, Scott and the staff were so kind! It was my sons birthday and he had such a great time playing games as well as enjoying great food. Thank you also to everyone who made his 10th birthday rockin!!!
Nice atmosphere. When Ive gone to karaoke, their service is all over the place. They do bring your food in a fairly timely manor, but they take forever to give you your bill. I seen and heard people walk out without paying.
Great place to enjoy some retro games and bar food. Prices are reasonable and the beer selection is too. We had apps and beers only, but the rest of the menu sounded good too.
Really unhappy. Your website said you were open on Saturday’s at 11:30 am. Wasted my time driving there and you didn’t open till 4 pm. Seems basic to have correct hours on your website
Had a wonderful experience there this week while on vacation. Food and drinks were great along with the prices. Mike our waiter was outstanding. Definitely a must go back place.
Mike is awesome, tonight was our first time there, food was excellent prices were reasonable. The staff (Mikewas on point., Mannerly, friendly and very helpful.
Would love to give more stars since this place has so much potential. Awesome decor and design for retro game lovers but unfortunately over half of the games were defective, unplayable and would frequently steal coins. I talked to the staff about it and they are aware, but none of the broken games are flagged out of service. So everything there is play at your own risk. Needs severe overhaul, maintenance, clean and just general tlc. Love the concept of this place and I had high expectations for it but me and my girlfriend felt ripped off severely disappointed. Might be a good spot to sit and drink but dont except a good arcade experience.
My son and I went to karaoke night! It was a blast! We didnt eat but had a great server bring us a couple of ginger ales! Nothing like karaoke at the beach! Well be back!
Old school games brings back memories . NBA jam ,NFL blitz , Street fighter 2 turbo, mortal Kombat 1 exc. I dont drink so I cant speak about the bar.
Alicia was our server at this great bar and grille. Top tier service, absolute great atmosphere. I cannot commend the service enough. She made us feel at home and welcomed into a foreign territory. Greatest place weve been to in decades.
Sweet little arcade bar and grill with classic arcade, 1 small pool table, many pinball machines, a huge bar, and nerdy nic-nacs from various movies and comics.Great staff, attentive and helpful. Plenty of tvs for sports watching too.
Really cool spot ....burger was good but my hubbys chicken cheesteak was really good and the drinks were on point! Definitely would go back
Awesome experience! What a cool place to hang out. The arcade is very cool with many retro arcade games and pinball games, as well as newer games like skee-ball, basketball and a pool table. The whole restaurant and bar is decorated with classic character statues like Boba Fett, Spider Man, Predator, Terminator and Batman. Cool 80s music playing. The food was great and the server was very nice. After 9pm no one under 21 years old is allowed, due to the bar. Highly recommended.
Great place! Me and a friend showed up much earlier than the rest of our group and still managed to have a great time! Then our friends showed up and we had an even better time. Definitely going back!
Outstanding atmosphere and classic arcade. Waitresss were outstanding and the food was great.
Staff working their tail off, but a LOT of the games are broken, eat your money etc. Food is decent, but if you are going to be an arcade bar, your arcade games should be in working order, or at the very least have an Out of order sign.
Outstanding experience if you love the 80s. The theme was awesome! Good was great and beer was cold. Ill be returning for sure!
A good place to eat and play!
this place sucks. every cabinet is in total disrepair. The street fighter 2 they have is some hack version like rainbow edition and the LK and HK buttons dont work on player 1. Every other cab I went on the sticks were totally jacked, loose and stuck on the last input you did. the stupid mini consoles they have at the tables dont even really work. all the controller buttons stick and are unresponsive. food was typical bar food wasnt that bad but nothing to write home about. They had 1 server when I arrived who was working tables and the bar and she was missing for the first 15 or so minutes. Eventually more staff did end up showing up and they were nice. so Im not losing my mind over that. not the end of the world. Then I guess the dinner rush happened and the place basically turned into a chuck E. Cheese. The young ladies sitting behind me were extremely loud and annoying. Hey McKayla maybe dont shoot spitballs at your friend until she is dry heaving extremely loudly and shouting your name over and over again while im trying to eat. Horrible experience.
My fiance and I finally had the chance to stop in and give the place a try. I have two issues with this place..1Its pretty dark inside. Not a whole lot of lights on in this place. 2Our food: I ordered a French onion burger while my fiance order the scrapple, egg, and cheese sandwich. My bun was so soggy it was pointless to even attempt to keep on the burger. My fiances scrapple wasnt on the grill long enough to crisp up. So, it was just warm mush that easily fell apart. Our biggest issue with the food.. it wasnt seasoned at all. My burger and her scrapple mustve missed the basic fundamentals of salt and pepper before getting tossed on the grill. Is what it is.On the plus side, the waitstaff was pretty nice.
I was highly disappointed in the manner in which their staff handled themselves. After ruining our time, falsely accusing a costumer, being rude, did not listen, and were unable to accept responsibility for their actions our time was ruined. This isn’t the first time I or my friends have gone here. I would not recommend this place and if able I’d give them a zero star review. The owner should be embarrassed by their employees and their lack on integrity.
Great spot! Conveniently located on Route 1 in Midway. They have so many arcade games and a pool table. My favorite is skee ball and the electronic beer pong machine. Requires tokens from the bar to play. The food was really tasty. Busy night and not a long wait. Attentive bartenders. Had the shrimp stir fry. Asked for extra teriyaki sauce and she suggested a wing sauce they use. It was perfect! Will return to play the free Nintendo and Sega games at the tables in the bar area.
I visited the Hideout on a Friday night when they were having karaoke. There were patrons of all ages and it wasnt too crowded. I sat at the bar and was served quickly. I ordered one drink, which lasted the entire 2 hours I was here because it was so strong! I also ordered fries, which were hot and freshly cooked and came in a large basket. The staff were all pleasant and attentive, and the karaoke was entertaining. The drink and fries cost $18, which seems pretty expensive, but they didnt scrimp on the drink and I couldnt finish the fries so I guess it wasnt too bad. Ill probably drop in again some time soon!
Absolutely brilliant grille and arcade bar.. the food is quality, I ordered the breakfast burger and within 10 mins the patty came exactly as I wanted it.. also highly recommend the milkshakes they are so good! The 80s and 90s are definitely captured with some great music, real old school arcade games, consoles and memorabilia.. cant say enough good things, 5 stars
While visiting from Philly, we stopped here on New Years day and had a blast. My kids werent impressed with the old school games, but I was. Food was great and the service was even better. The only downside was a few games didnt work. I get that the games were older, but put some "out of service" signs on the games so we didnt waste some tokens.I would definitely stop in again.
Hideout is awesome! Such a unique, fun, and casual bar and grill. They have a bunch of old-school arcade cakes, lots of pinball machines, and a pool table. They have great staff and bartenders or are prompt and fun. This is a great hangout spot away from all of the generic spots at the beach.
Really good food, and our server was super nice. Its a cool place to play same arcade games, eat, and relax. Only thing that held me back from giving five stars is the slow delivery of the food. The place was not crowded at all and it took a while for our food to come out.
On Saturday night around 12:40 the bartender rounded up my friends bill and mine. His was $19 and left a cash tip, mine was $14 and I left a $4 tip. He rounded them up to $20 and he had some sort of Mohawk hairstyle for Halloween. We went here a lot in the summer and it sucks knowing a bartender is willing to steal a couple bucks from oblivious people trying to have a good time. As long as that bartender works there I will not be going back.
Absolute fantastic service. The bartenders are friendly, quick and knowledgeable. The food and drinks are great too, my husband had a hard milkshake that was to die for. We came on trivia night but want to come back for karaoke. This place rocks. Good music, great vintage games and a kickass vibe. Would def come back. A must see near Rehoboth.
A very fun place to spend in evening with friends with friends grab a few drinks and sit at 1 of the gaming tables play old retro games whether it be nintendo Sega or playstation or a tarry you will definitely have fun have fun here there is an old arcade with many old fun games from the nineties lots Of fun times with great music And delicious food they have a great menu full of just about anything you could think of what you would not expect a bar to have it is definitely a place to hang out. I will be coming back especially for karaoke night. The drinks are always amazing and the staff is your staff is so polite and accommodating its a thing its unbelievable that they are a bar
Went on a Friday they had karaoke and it was incredibly loud and hard to talorate I had to walk out to make my ears stop ringing and there not sensitive to sound. Food was about what you would expect from a themed bar in my opinion the food deserved 7/10 but was way over priced IMO cost us like $50 ish for 2 adult drinks 2 entries and a app so like any bar food its a bit higher then a nicer sit down restaurant. I didnt try the games so I cant offer knowledge to prices or value.Over all if you dont mind mildly uncomfortable seating and are looking for a theme bar with bar priced food definitely worth a look Id leave a better review but honestly it doesnt really deserve one. On a side note our server was fantastic
Very fun place! The clams chardonnay is amazing! Great happy hour menu, tons of drink options, arcade games...Good times!
Perfect place to visit with kids during a rainy day on a beach vacation. Great for the type of place it is. The kids played on the arcade games while the adults ate. We came back later in the week for karaoke.
Real nice atmosphere. Wasnt my type of crowd. However, patron and staff were pleasant and friendly. The bar staff could work on their customer service skills. Drinks are on point 👌, not watered down. Arcade games. Pool tables, great selection of action statues to photograph with.
Such a fun spot for an adult night out. Kids are welcome up to 8pm. After 8pm 21 and up only. Lots of vintage games at every table you sit at. You can play them all for free. The other arcade games are between 50 cents and $1 to play. There are bar games such as a pool table, Darts, shuffle board. Some arcade games are free to play as well. This place has pinball machines, skee ball, street fighter, pacman etc. There are many games and lots of hidden gems. Even things hidden in the corner of the bar. The band was fun and upbeat. Cherry crush was playing this past Saturday and they did not disappoint. Drinks were a great price and between 4 drinks and a few games we spent no more then $25. There are also photo opportunities in here like sitting in the Barbie chair and posing with various character such as the terminator, Batman, Yoda, and a storm trooper. They do have food but I did not get food! They do dine in and take out. The staff were very up best and helpful!! They have plenty of TVs, games, drinks, love entertainment. Bring your friends and support a local business!!!
The food was hot and very tasty. We really enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries. The sweet potato fries and steak and cheese and definitely worth the visit. The children enjoyed playing the variety of 80 to 90s arcade games despite many not working adequately. The food was worth the few lost tokens. Kids enjoyed pac man and skee ball. They would stay all day if we allowed. My daughter love the barbie chair.
Went here with my kids for lunch and it exceeded all of my expectations. The website emphasizes thats an adult arcade, but they let kids in before 9:00 p.m. at most of the tables they have games that you can play for free from Atari and PlayStation, a lot of the old school games like asteroids.I ordered the tuna tacos and they were outstanding. My daughter and son got the chicken tenders and they were really good as well and came with a lot of fries.Afterwards we hit the arcade, and my kids loved it. They also have a lot of paraphernalia around the restaurant that adds to the ambience. The service was fantastic and we look forward to coming back.
Food was mediocre, played some pinball & 4 out of 4 machines need work. Flipper was stuck up on one, weak flippers on another making it impossible to shoot the ramp etc. They do have a nice sized arcade with 10 pinballs and about 20 or so arcade games. They have Karaoke some nights and a live band occasionally.
After a certain time they only have a fried food menu. They had a live band which was pretty good. They had tables with old systems so you can play games at the table. Fun place!
