The Home Depot in Lowndes County

There was a young lady (I think her name was Staciethat went above and beyond to help me. I could tell that she didnt know much about the lighting area; but that didnt stop her. She refused to just turn me over to another associate and hope Id be satisfied. No, she found the answers to my questions and stayed with me, walking me all the way from the ballast, to the fixtures, to the screws.Thank you for having such an employee on your staff. I would think that shes an aspiring store manager. She definitely has the brains and heart for it.

Its never their department or cant find the person whos department it is and bring back some more cashiers the self checkout sucks

Youre changing me to a Home Depot girl! Ive always been more of a Lowes girl, but in my frequent home improvement store trips lately, Ive received the BEST customer service at the Valdosta Home Depot. This morning I came in to the customer service counter with a "complicated order" and Ms. Dee was so courteous and helpful. She went above & beyond to accommodate me and Im thankful for her assistance!

Went to Home Depot today to get a ryobi 4-tool combo kit to work around the house, we needed the tools today at last minute. Went to our local HD to find out they have 14 in stock, we proceeded to ask this associate (he was rudeif he can unlock it so we can get the 4-tool, but the box was defected, plus the rude HD associate directed me to the wrong product. So I asked can we get another one he directed me to the wrong area instead it was a 6tool kit not the 4tool. When we went to the cashier it was the wrong kit. So, I decide to ask another HD associate hes name is Micheal at Hard ware department, mind you he was so helpful that he searched the whole warehouse for me, Micheal is a good asset to HD, his customer service was so friendly! As for the other HD associate (didnt get his namehe was rude he even tried to confront Micheals good service even though Micheal assisted and problem solved my situation better than that other rude HD associate. Anyways, keep up the good work Micheal!

It is the better than the Lowes in town but corporate seam to be out of touch with its customers.At least they are consistent with being bad at getting products in.

This home depot is set up familiarly, although I wasnt happy that their selection of mulch was quite negligible

They dont carry things like vinyl fencing. It seems like its always something.

I really thought that this home depot would have muching and wood chip options. They really dont.

A lot of help from the staff. Traveling for business and needed some items. Had a staff member walk us from place to place to help find what we needed. Where is that level of service everywhere else these days?

Stuff everywhere, couldnt find what I was looking for. Asked one lady where the crocus cloth n emery cloth was. She acted like she had never heard of these products. Pointed me to the sandpaper. I didnt get her name, but she was wearing a large badge that said "Coach".Probably wont go back.

Thank you for helping me save over $700 on a new French door to my patio. This is including measurements and install. Thanks to Matt for making this anEnjoyable experience. He obviously takes his job very serious and it shows. I miss great not good customer service. He went above and beyond.

I go to Home Depot for Speedy hotdogs to go. They have the best hotdogs in Valdosta right now. Stop buy and try one or two.

You cant buy lumber here because there is stacks upon stacks of wood and merchandise in the way. I asked a guy for help and he said he was about to clock our but if he saw someone on his way out he would let them know I needed help well I guess he didnt see anyone because no one showed up I asked another person for help and they told me the forklift person had just left and the had someone else headed over to help me I waited patiently for about 30 minutes until I just left and bought my wood from lowes. I would also like to let you know that my bill at lowes was 1086.54

The staff was rude. The aisles were hard to get down due to the amount of merchandise blocking the way.

Im from Sunny South Florida. There has never been a time that Ive visited a Home Depot and they were on top of their stuff. This Home Depot parking are was in great order. There was ample parking, the baskets and dollies were in a visible organized location. The store was well stocked in the area I went in (Garden Dept). The had gorgeous plants. Somewhat costly, but look as though the investment would be worth it. As far as customer assistance, there was none visible to seek assistance. However, the items that I came for were well stocked. At checkout, the cashier was very help and courteous. I will return this this Home Depot again. 😊👍

Alexis and Dazah in the paint department at Valdosta ga Home Depot were very helpful and patient. They are good employees and good representatives for the store.

Though I prefer Lowes, this Home Depot location is nice. Its clean, well organized, and has great parking/entry points. Bathrooms are only in the back, but theyre well maintained. If you want Stanley tape measures, this is the place to get them.

Great...gentleman helped me get caulk, right color, and a caulk gun.....came home and fixed by back door....gentleman even told me to keep my finger wet and caulk would spread easier and make a nice line.....greatly appreciated.

Will not shop there again !! They along with Lowes do not give Military Discounts on wood. The only reason I ever shopped there. Hello Mackey Lumber...

Large store and has good collection of items. Visited this location multiple times, got what I needed most of those times. Most of the representatives here are great and knowledgeable, but I met at least one representative who wasnt keen on helping or attempting to help. Otherwise, overall a great location for all your home improvement needs.

Very pleasant and clean in the garden area except in the aisle I was trying to get to. It was full of pallets loaded with product to be shelved. I almost tripped and fell! Next time pictures for sure!

Typical big box store. Had an issue with a couple of online paint orders and the 2 different store managers I dealt with went above and beyond my expectations in resolving the issues.

I have shopped Home Depot for years until I moved to Valdosta. I have tried this store several times and the isles are cluttered with boxes and pallets making it impossible to get through with a cart, the garden center has a assembled area that blocks 2 isles. I will be shopping elsewhere.

There on line order and home delivery is 2nd to none. They do a fantastic job. I order a lot and it gets here within a couple of days.

I had great service with what I felt was a confident, qualified service representative. Folks, that is what it is all about if you want buying customers and good ratings!

I was looking for hoses for my pool. Unfortunately they didnt have what I needed, but they staff we spoke to were very nice. Super helpful as well pointing us in the direction of other things that could work.

It is Home Depot and of course they have lots of stuff. Bought some paint and the young lady that helped me was very informative. Had to go back later for some more supplies to patch some holes and again, got the proper help. I like this place.

Like all the big box stores the only reason I go here anymore is the wide variety of home improvement items that they stock here. If you need assistance with anything that’s where it all goes south. With so much square footage where is all the help? Someone is obviously received all this product and worked it to the shelf. The second complaint I have with these folks is the garden center. There is a huge area outside where they receive plants from growers and if you go in the day the truck arrives you might find something interesting that is still alive. Beyond that you will find various stages of dehydrated and dead plants. These places used to care for these plants by at least watering them but not anymore. I would have only given them two stars but they recently started offering a veterans discount. In my humble opinion Home Depot could do better.

Great Staff Support! Female Assistant personally directed me to location of desired product in a very expedient and courteous manner. Male Assistant at Self Check-Out was quite pleasant and attentive. Truly appreciated!!!

After two days of working with her on flooring for our house, Ive decided that if every company had their own Ms. Marcia (Associate of 11 years), American business and industry would return to what it once was.She is thorough, kind and creative. The assistant manager Chris Frey, all the ladies behind the customer service desk & the Cashier Bailey were all AMAZING!!! HELPFUL, KIND & DETERMINED! Chris went above and beyond on Black Friday to find what we were looking for, when it wasnt in its usual spot he didnt stop there. He looked high & low, everywhere untill he found it. Excellent customer service experience

DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ODER ANY APPLIANCE FROM HERE EVER. I ordered and paid for a stove/oven over 2 months ago and Home Depot was too incompetent and lazy to deliver the product in a timely fashion and the customer service representatives are unable to even locate the product. I promptly cancelled my order, but Home Depot refused to refund the $800 that was stolen from me by not delivering upon the product I purchased. Fortunately I made the purchase using a credit card and was able to alert Chase Bank of the fraudulent activity Home Depot was conducting.Arthur Blanks company performs about as well as his football team does in the super bowl. Do yourself a favor and take your business to Lowes.

I wish I could give separate reviews for this location versus the delivery service that handles this locations appliances. The local employees are great. My problem is with the delivery and hallway service. They say theyre going to call half an hour before they arrive, they dont. When they finally got here, over a month later than the local salesman said it would be delivered, One of them started just walking around our house aimlessly and the other one realized after taking our old dryer out that he didnt have the products that he needed to install the new one. Then the two individuals loaded up the new washer and drove away leaving the old dryer in the middle of my laundry room. Very unprofessional and very hard to deal with.

Great Store Ms. Dee at the Customer Service desk is the hardest working employee in the store! She deserves a raise! Other employees just kept walking by while she did all the work while I was waiting for my pick up order! They need a dedicated person in in the Lumber department.

Customer service was excellent but the white Wood finish 2" blinds are always out of stock. 3 trips and there is still only one available.

Average Home Depot, but with above average staff. I was in the garden area looking for a new large flower pot and soil and was offered assistance 3 times, even though I was only in the store about 10 minutes. I didnt need assistance but its very nice to be asked!

Went in with my husband, the man working the plumbing section was very helpful! He helped us make sure we picked all the right pieces for my husbands job. The store was clean and we were in and out in no time.

Everytime I go into a Home Depot location I am greeted and asked if I need assistance. When I do need assistance it is by someone who seems to know what they are doing or they find someone to fulfill your request. Unlike the counterpart store that never seems to have knowledgeable staff nor friendly. I lo e this store chain and have chosen to drive well out of my way in order to receive customer service.

Id have to say its a pretty nice store, no hassle in the contractor check out, plenty of cashiers, the selection seems pretty good for laminate flooring. My only reservation is they have no stair nose for the laminate flooring, youve got to order it special. And then youve got to wait. And who wants to wait? should have at least one in stock of some kind or color. But other than that lots of nice people.

They have a lot more items that Lowes. I was shopping for a new light buld for our Kitchen and they have a bigger selection than Lowes here in Valdosta.However shop online just in case

I bought 2 very comparable lights, one from Lowes, the other from Home Depot. I chose Home Depots light because it was $9 cheaper, higher lumens, and higher CRI. I still prefer everyday shopping at Lowes because of their military discount, and personable checkout process. At Home Depot, there were 3 employees loitering by the registers, herding people into self checkout.

Very organized and employees are helpful and friendly!
