Left a piece of dental instrument in my gum when doing a crown had to have the tooth pulled and they didn’t refund for their negligence

If I could give this place a zero star I would. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I will start by saying the only person in this office who is professional kind and just does her job is Arianna, I’m sure I spelled her name wrong. She is the only reason I gave this place another chance and didn’t write a bad review the first time. The staff are rude they argue with each other in front of the patients. You wait for hours for simple procedures. They interrupt and rush the dentist while they are working on patients. When you ask a question everyone answers you in the most annoyed response as if you have no right to ask them anything. This current visit Im on right now I arrived on time and was the first one in. Of course made sure they took my money first. The lady at the front desk put someone in front of us who came in after then tried to debate to say she was not the first appointment. They put her in the chair and proceeded to take three others in front of her. I finally went to ask the ladies at the front desk could someone update me on what’s going on I received a response of I don’t know go ask them I can’t. So I went into the room where my daughter was as they took the fourth person into and ask for an update. The ortho and his assistant both responded I am putting the braces on you have to ask them up front they are the ones who schedule the appointments like what do you want me to do. I went back up front and stated what was told to me as no one seems to want to be bothered by me. I watched as the lady upfront asked one of the techs to speak with the ortho and she ignored her and me. The lady went in annoyed came out and said he doing your daughters braces. Five minutes later the fourth person walked out….the experience here is not good and each time has not been any better, this is just some of the things I have time to mention.Being here from 10am and just now leaving at 12:23pm. Teresa is horrible for the front desk. After speaking with my daughter she told me they had her just sitting in the room while they did all of those other patients. I am livid. I haven’t seen Arianna in a while but I hope they keep her she is the only good thing here. I am going to look into seeing if I do not have to come back here this I horrible! I know this review is not going to matter but if you do not have to come here I do not recommend it at all!

Had my kids seen and couldn’t be happier. Dr. Robert is great, talks to the kids and explains what he is doing so they aren’t scared.

I’ve been going to these people for years and I just had to change my dentist because they are absolutely disorganized, uncaring people that overbook and don’t take care of their patient. Not only did they reschedule me over 5 times and have me hanging for almost 2 hours after making me numb, they told me it was my fault I haven’t taken care of my teeth when I have been there for all of my appointments and have told me to leave. They also told me that they couldn’t save 2 of my teeth and they would need a root canal post and crown. When I went to my new dentist he said that those teeth don’t need it and that he could just do a big filling. Not only did they not know what they were doing there and had so many patients that they couldn’t manage their day, there’s a woman there who I guess manages the place and she treats the other girls like absolute trash in front of the patients. They fight all the time in there and talk bad about other patients. That blonde is so unpleasant. I feel bad for the girls and the dentist that has to deal with that horrible woman. I also had to delete my previous review because she took my phone and said I could get a free whitening (that I never gotif I gave them a good review. I’m warning people now not to go there. I waited there for HOURS waiting to get work done and my new dentist sees me within the few minutes I get there, gets me numb, does the work and I’m out. DO NOT GO THERE! If you do you’ll realize everything I’m talking about. I go to Encore dental and they are the best. Please divert from going to this terrible mismanaged place.

Place is so disorganized. They schedule all of their services at the same time and keep patients waiting hours on end. The poor dentist doesnt know if they are coming or going.Today was the straw the broke the camels back. They took me in 30 minutes late for my checkup and cleaning and then they left me sitting in the chair for 30 minutes waiting on the dentist who never showed. When I confronted the front desk I was told the dentist had an emergency patient. BS, she went to lunch she wasn’t even back there!!! And even if she was the hygienist told her 3 times I was waiting and had another appointment to get to. You don’t leave patients just sitting in a chair and not inform them of anything. I won’t be going back there ever again. An hour and a half just for a checkup and cleaning. Should take no more than 30 minutes!And they had the audacity to call patients asking to come in earlier today when they can’t even accommodate the ones that were there and on time! Never again.

The Doctors and staff here are outstanding. Warm, friendly and very professional, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you are confident and comfortable in all your dental care needs and decisions. Excellent office, I would certainly recommend to family and friends. 😁

What was told to us to be a month to a month & a 1/2 job turned into a 4 month job. Reception “ladies” are a joke with absolutely no respect, compassion, patience or professional manner to answer a direct basic questions from a patient. Constantly being called the last minute to come in early. Constantly overbooking and having people wait hours for their appointments! Then bad mouthing and slandering patients to others!

This was my first appointment here and it did not go well so I will not be returning. The office called me to ask if I could come in early so I did, and then I sat there for 2 hours waiting to my cleaning. I asked when I would be sent and they told me it would be at least mother 20 minutes so I decided to just leave. And while I was waiting around for my cleaning I could hear the staff arguing with each other and just being unpleasant, the whole experience was every unprofessional and I will not be going back.

I watched the owner of this facility cause a scene at Theresa South in Bay Head. Yelling at young kids, over what probably was 100 dollars. Wouldn’t give him your business or maybe ask him to comp your teeth cleaning, he might yell in your face with his wife.

It took over 2 hours for just an exam and nothing else. The staff had no idea what was going on and seemed to be arguing with each other the entire time I was there. An incredible waste of time and very unpleasant experience all around

Very nasty blonde at front desk. Went in for missing filling. In office over 2 hours and had x-rays and exam. My filling was not replaced. Tried talking me into things not covered by my insurance. Staff was fighting amongst themselves. Felt very uncomfortable

I had to get a root canal and was so nervous and anxious, but the dentist and staff were so great and made me laugh and eased my anxiety. Everyone is very professional and also makes you feel very comfortable. I love this place and would definitely recommend! Thanks so much!

First I want to say this place is very clean and organized. Which is a plus for me because I want to know the facility that I go to cleanliness is at the top of the list. They really do great work. The team they work with are friendly and funny. The dentist however actually puts a smile on your face. He is funny and he makes your trip to the dentist office seem extremely special. He puts a smile on my face and although Im in pain he makes me feel comforted while waiting. He is very patient with his clients and the idea he takes his time on getting the job done and they really get the job completed very well.. To finish with beautiful work. My smile has never been so confident and he works late to get the job finished so your not rushed because its closing time. The staff are POLITE and funny as well MY EXPERIENC HERE HAS BEEN GREAT AND YOUR ACTUALLY GETTING WHAT YOU PAY FOR FROM GREAT Service to EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants to change thier perspective of a dental office visit and make a positive experience. With amazing results.

I have always been afraid & very anxious at the dentists, so finding one I’m comfortable with was a must. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. They made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in.Everyone on the team is amazing, supportive and will explain everything to you step by step. I called to get clarification on my next steps/at home rustiness and Dr.Chen called me back immediately. She even took the time to explain everything in detail while I wrote it all down.If you are looking for a new dentist, this is the place to go.

Was always afraid to go the dentist till now what a pleasant place. Staff was accommodating, dentist was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend

If I could rate this dentist office negative stars I would. Every single communication and experience I had here was negative and absolutely not professional. It began on the day of my first appointment. As the kind woman was giving me x-rays she had to go in the other room to find a wire I believe. I have never heard a person being belittled so badly in my entire life. The dental assistant carried on and on about how “not smart” she was. “Open your eyes! Can’t you even see? Be a big girl, come on, you can do it.” I felt so bad for this woman I actually asked her if she was okay and how often this happened. She was utterly embarrassed and referred to herself as a saint (which I agree she isfor having to put up with this everyday. Momentarily a fight broke out in the main lobby because the practice charged a man for services he didn’t know he had to pay for. The yelling and carrying on could be heard through out the entire office for 15 minutes.however, I have no prior knowledge on what happened and therefor could not form an opinion of the situation. The kind woman unfortunately who did my ex rays did them all incorrectly (which took about 45 minutesbecause she was so flustered about being yelled at for so long. When the dentist came in to look at them, she was very confused. Every picture of every took was scattered on the page. Fast forward to my next visit. I was given 2 texts reminders, 2 phone calls and talked to the dental office confirming AGAIN the morning of my visit. 45 minutes before my visit I was called abs told the dentist had an energy and we would have to reschedule. After telling them I confirmed this appointment 5 times the receptionist left abs came back and said, “Never mind, you can come in.” When I walked into the office, after sitting down, I could hear the receptionist talking to someone on the phone discussing the prices of my fillings and crown. She hung up and I said. “I was listening to your entire conversation. I heard you saying that the price of my crown (at 50% covered by insurancewas going to be $450. I let her know that on my last visit I was given a quote of $350 that I wrote down. She then processed to call someone back and told me okay. I’m very curious to know what this was all about. She then had be pay before I got my services done. (Fast forward to the end of my visit- I didn’t end up getting the crownand they were unable to give me a refund. They told me to call back the next day for a refund. I asked why can’t you do it now? They said often times when they give a refund people are charged twice by accident. I said, can’t you write a note to cancel my charge? Why do I need to call you? She said, please just call for a reminder. When I called the next morning at 10:10 after they opened, the woman said she just walked in and needed to get settled. She couldn’t do it now, call back later. I told her I was a teacher and couldn’t call during the day, she said call after school. Going backward to my visit, the dentist seemed to have the wrong teeth written down that needed to be fixed. I will say this, the actual dentist herself was very nice and had a great temperament and did my fillings great with lots of great advice. I surely hope that she’s just hired to work there and this isn’t her actual practice. Fast forward 5 months and I called this practice to have my X-rays sent to a new office. When I called on a Monday morning I was absolutely harassed and told in a telling tone they must know exactly why I need these x-rays and where they are going. They asked numerous times if I was planning on leaving the practice, and must know what my plan is and if I will be coming back. Two woman told me they did not have any full set dental records. I actually had to call my insurance company who had to call them. I feel they only gave them to me because I threatened them. The entire experience was just so unbelievable and unprofessional every single step or the way. In my opinion, the practice should be shut down or receive an extreme business makeover.

The Perfect Smile was one of the best dental experiences i’ve had. The office was super friendly and clean. Dr Duggal was so nice and caring! Definitely recommend this office and periodontist!

Dr labruno was fast and wonderful. My first visit he had to remove a permanent wire retainer and fit me for an Invisalign my retainer came back less than a week later. Fast efficient friendly office

This office only cares about money. They don’t care about service. They gave me a root canal and never followed up with appointments for me to be seen. One time I was there and leaving after being seen, the receptionist was basically trying to push me to get a cleaning after I had been seen by the dentist and told me I’d have to pay out of pocket if I did it later. Some of the staff are very unfriendly. If I could do negative stars best believe they’d be getting -10.

Had an dentist appointment today at the Perfect Smile in Redbank. When I tell you I had the best dental experience in my life! It was truly amazing! From the customer service/ladies at the front desk all the way down to the Doctor! They were absolutely amazing! Ive never felt so comfortable in a medical/dentist establishment! I cant thank The Perfect Smile enough! Again Thank you to all that made my dental experience so exceptional!!

Wonderful and efficient staff, in a convenient location, right in Red Bank!Though I’ve never had to wait long, they’ve comfortable waiting room with refreshments and a tv (+ an xbox game to quiet troublesome little ones.In these cautious times, It’s good to feel safe. i appreciate things are being cleaned throughly and often especially when you can’t wear a mask. The reception staff also has been helpful with making clear what my insurance covers and doesn’t. Both prior points my former dentist did not satisfy, making me proud to have switched to Perfect Smile.

The staff is friendly however I arrived for my appointment at 4:00 and wasn’t seen until 5:00. They are overwhelmed with the amount of people they have to see. I was also shocked that there were no dental hygienists doing the cleaning. It was just the one dentist that was going to person after person.A simple phone call saying that they were running late would have been best.

I recommend coming here for any dental needs!! I have been a patient here for many years and was taken care of right away due to extremely pain. The staff and the doctor i saw today was amazing they made sure i left the office with no pain. Thank you perfect smile for saving my life.

IF ANYONE WANTS TO START OR JOIN A CLASS ACTION SUIT< PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! My boyfriend used this office relying on reviews which MUST BE FAKE!!! Office was dirty and definitely did NOT follow COVID protocol. NEVER received a plan or itemized bill. Many Appointments were cancelled and rescheheduled. Each time he went there was a different dentist. Office manager wanted us to pay for services before receiving them. They were going to put implants in while he still had an active infection. SO LUCKY we switched dentists before it was too late!

Need a few things done and have horrible dental anxiety. Went in for a root canal yesterday and it was painless. Even today I feel nothing. This place put me at ease and I recommend them to anyone in need of a dentist. Dunno what’s up with all the negative reviews because it was great.

I have been visiting the perfect smile for a couple of years now. First for general dentistry and I am now finishing up my orthodontic treatment. I could not be happier that I finally found a dentist that I can stay with for the long term. For the most part they can handle any kind of dental situation. I’ve gotten root canals, cleanings, fillings, and orthodontic treatment. My children and husband also come here. I love that they do not overbook and I am always taken for my visit promptly. Everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Valerie and Stacey in the office respond right away to inquiries and appt requests and go above and beyond to accommodate. Dr Roberts is so friendly and really puts you at ease. I never feel wierd for being 30 and having braces. The orthodontist makes me feel just as normal as if I was 15 and had them. I drive over 30 minutes to see them even though there are an abundance of dentists in my local area. Unless I move out of state, I would not leave this practice.

I struggle with severe anxiety and of course your regular fear of the dentist , i called the perfect smile and spoke to Valerie she was able to get me in for a consultation that very day! She worked her magic and was able to get me approved for a root canal within that week ! Dr. Robert’s Is so amazing and answers any and every question ! I love this place and I’m so happy i found them !!

My husband and I recently became patients at the Perfect Smile and so far our experiences have been really great! With a comforting and knowledgeable team, it really makes someone who is nervous (meabout going to the dentist a little less scary! Unfortunately I neglected my smile for some time and need some work done but Valerie made sure to space out appointments for me so I wasn’t overwhelmed and Dr Robert really does a wonderful job and let’s you know the game plan ahead of time at the start of your visit. The few hygienists I have met so far have also been great! And our first cleaning and X-rays were quick and painless! Very easy to book an appointment and to chat with a team member if you have any questions. I would recommend going to see them if you are looking for a dentist!Jessica D.

Staff is very unprofessional and miserable. My appointment was at 10 am as a new patient and the staff did not arrive to the office until 10 am. The dentist was seeing other patients in between seeing me. I was waiting so long in between that my anesthesia wore off and had to get injected again and wait again! Total time spent for 1 filling and a temporary filling was 4 hours!!!! I did not even get a cleaning. Worst experience ever and I would not recommend to anyone! All the 1 star reviews are accurate and 100% true because I had the same experience.
