Great night at The Pines at the show upstairs. Laughed Neil our sides hurt!
Great location..nice staff and decor. Food taste had oysters rockerfeller..Great. they have special during off summer season.. cant beat it. Ill be back
Went to a showing of Rocky Horror and it was amazing. The staff were so kind and helpful. I am not only looking forward to next years showing but the other events they have throughout the week. I can not say enough how wonderful this place is. If you have not been I highly recommend it.
The drag show was amazing! It was hilarious 🤣! The most fun I had at a drag show in a while!!! The drinks and sliders were awesome!!!
Was able to get a last minute table and hit the jackpot. Great atmosphere, excellent food. While the service could have been quicker, I give 5 stars because every restaurant struggles with the lack of staff these days, and watching the staff, everyone was working their butts off to keep things running as smoothly as possible. This will be my first choice next time in I’m town. Especially for the crab & artichoke dip.
Went for Sunday brunch and drag show. Entertainers were great. Food, not so much.
We went for filet night on Monday and it was the best dinner I’ve had in a long time! All 4 filets were cooked perfectly & you can change the sides. We enjoyed a drink upstairs & were seated minutes before our reservation time. Ella our server was very good & checked back often, manager Cory very attentive. Great meal!
Attended the Miss Gay Eastern Shore pagent at the pines and had an amazing time. Great people, good drinks.
1st time here, going back for another show. Loved the young lady doing karaoke that Thursday night.
Fantastic food, fantastic service. Highly recommend the sexy martini and filet! We will be back.
Our bar tender/waiter definitely made us not want to come back / maybe needed a warm blanket
We are locals and generally go to this restaurant off-season. We actually went Monday evening for the filet mignon special and as usual, were impressed. The increase in activity and reservations has not negatively impacted their outcomes. Waitress for front porch was extremely pleasant and efficient. My steak was done more medium-well than the medium that I ordered but overall very good meal. Manager/owner stopped by the tables to check on all customers which is something I haven’t seen in any restaurant for years. Highly recommend. Oh, their burgers are exceptional too!
You want a place where youre not greeted at the table with a hello, rather than a "what do you want?" Come hereYou want slow and incompetent service? Come hereYou want to not even get the pleasure of pondering dessert because the server rushes you out because they want you to leave? Come hereYou want filthy bathrooms with toilet paper everywhere? Once again, come herePersonally, Im not into the aforementioned, therefore, i wont ever come back and if youre not into that, then i recommend you dont either; unless youre a glutton for punishment and poor service, if so, come here.
The six of us had a fabulous meal at The Pines! Among the dishes we ordered were the mozzarella sticks - OMG! Fresh mozzarella and panko breading - the best we have ever had. Pistachio crusted tuna, crab cakes, steak, soft shell crabs - all perfect. Jenna, our server, was lovely, helpful, and attentive. We sat inside, which was great, but in a little cooler weather would opt for an outdoor table.A terrific experience - highly recommend!
Great food and lots of fun. The crab dip, short ribs and salmon were all excellent. So were the martinis!! Service and manager/owner were very attentive. Great vibe too. We’ll be back when next we’re in Rehoboth.
Love this place! Service is excellent and food is superb. Super fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared. We always come here when were in Rehoboth!
Sitting outside on the porch is nice. The food was pretty good, we had the strawberry salad and beet salads that were both very ggood. The beef stroganoff was pretty good and contained a lot of meat. Service was good. Overall a good experience.
They have a side alley entrance. The atmosphere here is great and if I heard correctly they have a bar upstairs. The cocktail could use a little more variety and wine menu was decent. The lamb lollipops were great, the fried mozzarella was fresh, and the cheese board was good just make sure to ask for extra crackers theres only 6 total on there. For the main course main course my fiancée had the strawberry salad which is a favorite in our house but this wasnt great. They soak the strawberries in the vinaigrette which kills the strawberry flavor. She ate 3 bites and couldnt do anymore. I had the fresh catch, it was visually impressive but the fish was slightly dry. When paired with the sauce at the bottom it helped that out so Id give the dish a 4.5 out of 5. Overall the experience here was great. Thank you for the great evening.
We called ahead, and they were able to seat us for steak night about an hour before closing. We were delighted with everything, as usual. They cook a perfect steak, and dont forget to order a mac n cheese to share! We were there past closing, along with one other table. No one was rushing us out the door. Our server had just graduated from college, as had my daughter and friend. I love the way this classy restaurant is so down home. Top to bottom, front of house to back, they have it going. The menu changes seasonally, so chances are, you will always find a few classic staples and/or something new to try, always delicious.
We never go to Rehoboth without making dinner reservations at The Pines. The food is outstanding, the service is exceptional, and the drink menu is perfection.
We arrived in Rebohoth in the middle of a NorEaster late in the evening. Walked up to the bar and had the best time, we laughed and heard great stories from David and Bradly. The service was amazing and so were the drinks. Thank You. You saved our weekend.
Had the eggs Benedict. I know the website says menu subject to change, but this was kinda drastic, especially for the handsome price of $18. No crab, cake or otherwise and not on an English muffin but a small biscuit.Had a great time at the drag show though. Mona Lott was great as was the performer after her.
Superb service, fantastic vibe and atmosphere with excellent food and wine choices. Bartenders Tina and Michael are A+ and server Rebecca was spot on. Really fun shows in the upstairs cabaret as well. G/M Ryan should be very proud of whats being built here.
The food was very good. The salmon was well worth the $27 price, but the glass of chardonnay that was barely 2 fingers worth was a bit pricey at $16.
Just learned about The Pines. The food and ambience are great! Our server Rebecca was attentive and pleasant. I went to the Drag show and it was fun for the first hour. The performers were fun and talented. I just wish they would have performed on stage instead of walking between tables to get money. I would rather pay an entrance fee to see a full show.
Recommend the salmon was delicious, service excellent, entertainment very nice. The warm bread and herb butter to die for.
Just had a wonderful happy hour at the Pines and also tried the wonderful kanpanchi crudo appetizer special. Our server Karl was amazing too. Cant wait to come back!
It was amazing. Had a table reserved for the drag show and had dinner beforehand. Was a great experience. I wish the kitchen had been fully opened but there was a private party on the first floor so they had a more limited menu due to the event happening. Would go again 10/10. The ladies were funny and lovely!
We attended a drag brunch and flaming/dueling pianos here at Top of the Pines. The entertainment and the food were great. We enjoyed the drinks—heavy pours existed for us throughout Rehoboth. We had to figure out the service—everyone is short-staffed because it’s COVID and the off-season. I think everyone was doing their best (special thanks to Emma and Richardbut there just weren’t enough people to serve. I advise being patient and tipping well. I had the burger at brunch. Delicious, served with tater tots, and cooked medium rare (not to order). The frittata was with goat cheese and veggies and really good and cooked perfectly. The filet was a special at the piano event and it was really good—filet mignon is not my fave. Served over mashed potatoes with haricot verts. If you want a good time, definitely go here. If you’re in a rush, well, take a breath and stop being in a rush. Enjoy your life, drink a nice pour at Top of the Pines, and tip your cap to the kitchen.
Awesome food, drinks and service. The duck comfort food special melted in my mouth. Best duck I ever ate(sorry Victorias). Highly recommend. Parking will be very rough during season.
The Dueling Pianos show on Monday nights is fantastic. And the filet mignon meal, with a glass of wine, is a bargain at 50 bucks.
We were lucky enough to experience the first night of the new Fall menu for the entrees. Not wanting to let go of summer we started with the tuna carpacio with lots of sesame and some heat in some bites. That led to the Fall flavors of butternut squash and apple. The duck two ways was perfect atop the butternut farro and the perfectly seared scallops in the balanced squash and apple sauce was delicious.
Ambience and service was great. Halibut main dish was a bit on the dry side for my taste. Drinks were excellent. Fried green tomatoes were delicious. Dish presentations were very nice
My son and his new wife had their wedding their omg it was wonderful the food was great and the staff was just marvelous i can say they went above and beyond my expectations wonderful if you wont a great place to eat stop in. I will be going back just to have dinner
Awesome entertainment and delicious drinks! Ive been to Pamela Stanley on Sundays and the dueling pianos on Mondays and its so much fun. Staff is friendly and attentive. The place itself is clean and cozy.
A very upscale establishment with a fun atmosphere and a Vera relaxing vibe has an awesome balcony overlooking bottom were looking Baltimore Avenue and a cool breeze that travels through. They have live shows all week long week long with local artists and musicians that all bring their own unique brands and style to the stage. They have amazing high end food and very comfortable seating we had to call an advance for a reservation to guarantee a table but in the Winter months its not as necessary but to but to be cautious we will still reserve one
My wife and I had the fortunate opportunity to meet/work with Christopher Smith, the Event & Catering Manager at The Pines in Rehoboth Beach. Christopher could not have been any more helpful and always went the EXTRA MILE to ensure that every detail was not overlooked. He is a friendly/thoughtful professional who treats his clients with the utmost respect. Great guy !
Good food good desserts an awesome Colorado Bulldogs. Lots of great pictures here from different food we had
The food was excellent and Teddy is a excellent waiter, even though they were short staffed and after peak season.
Outstanding meal. The place is decorated wonderfully. The attention to detail from the space to each element if the dish is outstanding.
Food was great. Waitress, Paige, was very very attentive. Nice indoor atmosphere. However.....we walked in with our masks on and my wife responded to a question the gentleman host asked and in a nasty tone said "I cant hear you". Words and tone matter to a PAYING customer.
We showed up to the bar for a late dinner. The restaurant was packed full. They did an impressive job hustling during the busy rush. Our food and drinks were amazing and came out on time.. Definitely a great experience and I’ll recommend to anyone.
Had a delicious meal here, starting with a yummy Peach Caprese that was nice and fresh. We also enjoyed the Seared Ahi Tuna, which came in a delectable Thai-style curry sauce that had a nice kick, and the Day Boat Scallops, which were like butter and came with a nice orzo. We had the whole meal out on the patio, which was lovely despite the heat and offered great people watching… all in the fabulous gay-friendly part of Rehoboth we love!
If you are looking for fun place to drink and also enjoy great good this is the place to go. The environment is fun as well. You can sit outside the balcony or sit inside awesomely decorated interior with beautiful art pieces you can buy. We ordered four different types of cocktails as you can see in the pictures. Each of them were just great. The food we ordered our fried octopus to start, salmon, and scallops. They all were made to the top fresh taste and very rich in flavor. So, if you are in town and want to enjoy good food and service with great environment, then I recommend this place! Try them out =)
Went for July 4 Drag Brunch, and it was beyond amazing. The Pines’ service, ambiance, food & drinks are all incredible, and the performers are the best in the business and just incredible, inspirational people to be around. Don’t miss a chance to visit this amazing venue!
Details matter and at The Pines the bartenders, servers and kitchen staff make guests feel welcome and appreciated on each visit. Ive visited four times in the past two month and every experience was five stars.Drinks = SuperbFood = UnbelievableEntertainment = Fun and Brilliant
Our first time there and it could not have been more enjoyable. Their $25 steak special on Mondays is phenomenal, as are their shrimp & grits. Drinks were quite generous pours, and our server, Paige, was delightful. After dinner, we wander upstairs to finish our drinks and reboot the entertainment--dueling pianos! Truly, a perfect evening and first-time experience. Well be back!
Great place! Food was awesome.. lots of flavor.. NY Strip was amazing! Our waiter/bartender was super friendly and makes a great drink!
Love this place! Delicious food - the bouillabaisse is wonderful - combined with a great wine selection. The atmosphere is airy and modern, but comfortable, with outdoor dining on a wide front porch and warm and friendly staff. Upstairs At The Pines is a large vibrant cocktail space with a delightful wine tasting on Wednesdays. Great place!!
Came here with another couple hoping to find another great addition to the Rehoboth food scene. Instead, our dinner was underwhelming with nobody having had a great experience. We started out with drinks at the upstairs bar. The balcony area provides a great outdoor space with direct reviews of Aqua cross the street. They had a decent beer selection and there was a piano player doing the usual standards (Billy Joel, etc.)When we got seated downstairs (we had made reservations through their website), the first thing we noticed was that the place was very loud. Everything was brand new and looked amazing, but the place lacked anything that would dampen sound, creating an environment where everyone had to talk louder to hear each other. For appetizers we got the grilled oysters, which were very disappointing as they lacked any real grilled flavor. Not to mention, the plate only contained three oysters and there were four of us. Our waiter, who was not very helpful, said there are normally four oysters per plate. We also had the chicken wings which were interesting and tasty. Our friends have the asparagus salad and we had the warm Caesar. Both were good. Our main source of discontent arrived with the entrees. I had the seafood pot pie, which, aside from the top crust, ate like a thin soup. The amount of seafood in the pie was scant and the soup was quite bland. My wife and one other member of our party had the linguine with clams. Neither was impressed. The waiter warned us that the dish would be salty but he did not warn them that the pasta would be dry and that there wouldnt really be any other flavors in the dish besides salt. Any sauce that accompanied the dish must have disappeared during the preparation.Overall, we liked the menu and the decor, but the restaurant fell short in its execution -including both the kitchen and the service. There were several shareable entree options, which is a great idea, but didnt work for us based on our individual preferences and dietary restrictions. We will probably make it back to try their happy hour but I dont see us returning anytime soon for dinner due to the multitude of other great options in Rehoboth.
