Absolutely horrendous service.We are frequent guests at Barking Frog BUT will never go back to the restaurant after our interaction with the Willows Lodge Spa. If thats the kind of poor service theyre encouraging, well spend our time and money at The Four Seasons in Seattle. The lady in their spa was disrespectful, curt, and not helpful. Its so disappointing because the restaurant is great. Totally a shame.

Incredibly poor experience - I booked 2 massages for Mothers Day. 6 hours before the massages, the spa director called to ask me if I would like to cancel both massages, as one of the massage therapists called in sick. When I inquired about booking different services or moving to a different date, I was blanketly told they were booked and could not offer any credit or discount off of a future service. The spa director was apathetic, never once acknowledged the inconvenience, and told me she could not discuss any options further, as she needed to call others to let them know of cancellations.Fast forward, the general manager of the hotel left me a voicemail later that day. 2 weeks and a number of phone calls later, I still cannot get ahold of him, nor will he return my calls. Safe to say, I will not be visiting the hotel, restaurant, or spa anytime soon.

I would give zero stars if I could! We reserved a couples massage for our honeymoon and when we made the reservation they guaranteed it would be in the same room, however, when we arrived today as newlyweds they had already given the couples rooms to other people. Jill and Kate gave us great individual massages, but The Spa at Willows Lodge ruined what was supposed to be one of the highlights of our honeymoon. You cant get that experience back!! Im so disappointed!!

Treatments at Willows have been a treat or special occasion experience I have always enjoyed with relish previously, but recently my experience with them recently has been deeply disappointing. After cancelling my appointment and notifying me that I had "requested it" (which I had notwhen I arrived, they made little to no effort to try to recover the experience. Efforts to communicate with them or even follow-up on rebooking have been met with unanswered emails and silence. I wont be going back, their prices are too high for the customer service to be so low.

I always wanted to splurge on a facial at this spa and I finally did it! Not only was the facial wonderful but Julie is so knowledgeable I feel like I had a spa treatment with a consult thrown in. Purchased some pricey but now beloved products and Ill be returning to purchase others in the product line. Furthermore the receptionist (I cant remember her name 🤦‍♀️was equally helpful and a pleasure to chat with while I checked out my goodies. Willows Lodge Spa really lived up to its reputation of offering a truly premier experience. Ill be treating myself here again soon.💜

I have had many massages over the years, at many different spas. I have been a client here for at least 10 years. The facility is well maintained and they have good products (which is why they have 3 stars). As other reviews suggest, it can take some time to receive a call back. Unfortunately, the work done by the massage therapists here is mediocre at best. Be prepared to have to keep asking for different pressure, etc, and even still leave unhappy. I will pay top dollar for a good massage, no problem. However, nothing is more frustrating then spending $300 for something that you feel your partner could do at home. I love the Hotel, the Herb Farm, and Barking Frog and will continue to visit. However, I will no longer be using their spa.

Update: June 2021 -- Not sure if things have changed since COVID. Unfortunately the last couples spa experience left more to be desired. "Waiting space" was in the hotel hallway while our massage room was in a repurposed hotel room. The music took a good 5-10 minutes to troubleshoot, cutting down our total massage time. The masseuses phone went off mid-massage. The whole experience was lack luster. Skip the spa and just enjoy the hotel. Not worth the $$$ high price tag in my opinion.

Usually quite good. Canceled my reservation the day before when I planned to bring my Mom for her Birthday. My Mom still got a massage while I waited with no solution. We booked weeks in advance. Disappointed that we didn’t get to enjoy the day together. She had a nice massage though.

Booked a couples massage three weeks in advance. They called me 24hrs before and told me they need to reschedule us separately. I said then it’s not a couples massage. The lady asked, “Would you like to cancel?” Ummm yeah...and I’m upset because now I have 24 hours to find somewhere else since it was to relax before a surgery. No offer to make it work or discount for separating us or rescheduling.

Had my first spa experience here courtesy of my friends gift card. Heidi and Hanika were great! Had an amazing and super relaxing facial and hot stone massage. Would definitely recommend to friends and family that want to relax and rejuvenate.

Was slightly hesitant to go with all the recent restrictions due to COVID, however the team is doing a fantastic job adapting! We had the most wonderful couples massage today. The spa was well thought out and put us at ease the minute they met us at the door! Perfect self care day!

Skip the spa. While the hotel itself was wonderful- welcome wine, great music, good food, and cozy ambiance, the spa was a huge disappointment. Hot tub was nice and we made use of the sauna- both of which located outside the spa and you can use while staying at Willows, even without a spa service. I have been to many high end spas and this was FAR from that. No beverages offered, snacks, or other amenities other than your service. These are all things I would expect from a high end spa with these prices. It is basically a walk in walk out $60 experience, but for $500. Our 60 min couples massage was even cut short for an unknown reason. The staff was friendly, but this place is no where close to being worth the money.

I booked a special spa treatment for me and my mom and the day we were scheduled my son fell terminally ill and was placed in the ER overnight. I called the spa to notify them and informed them i would provide a doctors note and because I’m a single parent have no option to come in. They told me I could book later and reschedule. Not knowing how long my son would be sick and in recovery I was not able to rebook right away. They were not authorized to charge my credit card and did anyways a week later for two full spa services at $280.00. I never received one service from them. I called the spa the day of the transaction and informed them of this.Michelle and Melissa were very hostile on the phone, using abusive language, and stated the spa manger would call me. I waited over a week for a call back never got one. And then called and left a message for the general manager several times and never received a call back. Then they passed me along to their food and beverage manager Anthony and we also took days for him to get back to me. I informed him of the situation and the circumstances and he was not compassionate what so ever did not take in any of the facts or any accountability on his staff. Said the reason why the spa manager didn’t call me back is because she was in an out all week why I called over 10 times and left several messages and no return phone call. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and not in the industry to provide quality customer care and customer service. I was shocked at the professionalism of the staff members there. This resort if I could rate it below one star I would absolutely awful customer service, not willing to listen to the customer and work with the customer and come up with a compromise whatsoever, and has no compassion or empathy. Did not even ask how my son was doing. Being in the hospitality industry I would think that you would want to build clientele work with people and ask important questions like how was your son doing. I can see why the spa is not rated very highly has a lot of poor reviews and it’s unfortunate that it’s in Woodinville. I have been a Woodinville resident over 20 years I will never in my life refer people to this facility. They should not even be a part of our community. He did not take the time as a quality manager to listen to the facts, present me with options, and and have any compassion or empathy for the illness of my son being that it’s flu and cold season and people die over the symptoms. Don’t waste your time, valuable resources and income, energy, at this lodge or spa they do not value the customer.

Honestly it was mediocre at best. The staff was nice and the place was clean and beautiful. The massage treatment left so much to be desired and after spending $400 for what was supposed to be a surprise anniversary gift made me wish I took my money elsewhere. I left upset and disappointed. Also if you have areas you dont want massaged be sure to tell the massage therapist as well because it was noted on the sign in information but it was not told to her. Will not be back sadly.

I went to Meika for a pricey hydro-facial and woke up in the morning with flakey dry skin. I called to complain and was told that it’s normal (from a hydro facial?). I would NOT recommend this treatment (my skin looks worseand was disappointed that they did nothing to help.

Just got home from a fantastic spa day. The spa is very clean! The robes were fantastic and the employees did an excellent job. Dusty gave a fantastic facial. Only complaint would be that while kind, the manager was very difficult to get a hold of for scheduling our group.

We enjoyed our experience here. This is probably not the best out here, but it cozy and intimate. The lounge was co-ed, which was ok, I suppose, because I did come with my significant other. But not sure how Id have felt if there were other folks around... I also noticed there were no changing spaces in the ladies area, just the bathroom with the toilets and the showers. Which was fairly odd. The services themselves were great, we did the body polish, the massage and facial. They used high quality products and the providers were very well trained and professional. The sauna and outdoor hot whirlpool was really nice and had plenty of towels stocked up. The place was very clean, well-maintained and the staff very helpful. I did find it odd that we asked for a couples massage and we were led off to separate rooms and didnt see each other till we were done and dressed.

When we called to make the reservation, we specifically ask if the amount disclosed on the website was correct.When we got our bill it was 1250.00. We were shocked!Our room was 599.99. There was a party there that went until 1am and we got to enjoy the sounds of the party all night.Terrible experience.The massage therapist gets a 5 star.

Unprofessional, unapologetic, arrogant staff! Here’s a long story of everything that went wrong at Willows Lodge Spa. My boyfriend and I took the luxury spa package for 2 at the Willows Lodge on Oct 6, 2017. The package includes massage & treatments followed by strawberries & champagne.1Discrepancy in $$:At the time of the reservation (on the phone), I asked for a lunch meal upgrade vs. the champagne & strawberries. They quoted an $8 upgrade fee/person. My therapist casually mentioned the "champagne waiting for us", and I was surprised because I was expecting a meal. Not only had they forgotten about my upgrade, but now wanted to charge $20/per person. We needed to eat, so made no fuss and said OK.2Romantic lunch in a crowded hallway?Post massage, I expected to be shown to the hot tub, sauna, and showers. Instead, we were made to sit down for a hot lunch. It all happened really quickly. The massage therapist distracted me with a sales pitch, we were served our hot lunch in a hallway by the door. We were greeted at least 14 times with the passersby asking "hello, how are you? how is your food?" What was supposed to be a private, relaxing meal for the couple turned out to be a public viewing affair. We got uncomfortable and finished eating quickly. Nobody wants to go into the jacuzzi and sauna after a heavy lunch. They distracted us from using these services we paid for.3Knock knock while you shower, rude staff yells at you:This was the worst part of our experience. After lunch, we were shown into our shower rooms. I get setup only to see they dont have shower gel (but they had shampoo & conditioner). I dress again, go out and ask for shower gel. Front desk owns the stash, gives me some in a small silicone cup. A luxury spa playing these cost-cutting moves? 10+ mins later, I hear a loud knock at the door. I say "Im not done yet; Ill be out soon." Im trying to wash my long hair and all the oils from our treatment. 2 mins later, one more knock and a loud voice yelling at me from the outside. I gather my things, wear my dirty robe and open the door. A massage therapist "yells" at me with a reddened face -- "I have an appointment here! I need you to get out!", while the front desk staff stands and watches. My boyfriend got kicked out too. They had completely ruined a relaxed spa day for us at this point.5Apathetic staff:We still had to change so the staff walked us up to one of the hotel rooms. I said the rushing and knocking was not OK and asked, very politely, on what had caused such a terrible scheduling conflict. With a poker face and no apology, and goes "the shower rooms are for a rinse & change and not really to take a shower. Well add locker rooms (post renovationand provide hair dryers onsite." I realized if we werent shown to a hotel room, Id have walked out into the Seattle rains in dripping wet hair. Frustrated at that point, I just wanted to get it over with. We dress quickly. Knock knock again in 5 minutes; and this time we get the receipt for our spa day, insisting I give her my credit card then and there. I found that to be a very condescending move. Not only did they ignore my earlier question but were actually rushing us again. I then firmly said, "I need to speak with your manager and I wont pay until I do."6Charged my CC for $$$ without my consent:The spa manager "Martha" was on leave, so they called in the hotel manager, Matt. Matt listened, recognized the mayhem, and was the first person to apologize. I asked them to re-price my package for the services we didnt use and to compensate for the terrible customer service and staff behavior. Matt said he needed for Martha (the spa managerto look into it. Martha actually called back the same day - listened to me and offered to investigate more.Instead I found a $576 charge on my credit card bill! Ill be disputing. Please dont go to this spa - youll lose faith in humanity, let alone good customer service.

Oh boy, best massage Ive ever had! Took my wife here for her birthday and we couldnt have been happier with their service. The hot tub is very relaxing before your massage and staff is super friendly. Highly recommend.

Planned a surprise de stress day for my husband and I. Couldnt have turned out any better. The ladies at the spa were so pleasant, helpful, and accomodating. We enjoyed a facial first, and then donned our robes, slippers, and swimsuits, and headed out to the outdoor hot tub. We enjoyed a glass of wine, and then ordered a bite to eat from the Barking Frog restaurant. All delivered to the hot tub area. Lastly, we both had the Dvine pedicure in our own private area. Definitely was de stressing and we felt very pampered. Will definitely be back. The spa itself was clean, calm, and had all the ammenities one would expect from a top of the line spa. Thumbs up!
