Great place to hike and play disk golf.
Awesome place great scenery peaceful and quiet great getaway to be making a big decision or making a memory with your family
Nice place to go on Sunday walk.
Frisby golf and some bicycle trails
Never have had a problem here while riding my bike on the trails. I had a flat tire before but no problems, lol. Good trail.
beautiful scenery nice trail for bike riding our long walks also has disc golf which is pretty cool
Great place to bike, walk, or play disc golf. Creek is accessible with a steep walk down.
Love this park for walks with the dogs and we discovered disc golf!
No bathrooms but great for outside fun
Great place to jog and walk and talk to God
Lots of liter, homeless camps but trails are clean and safe. Not much to see, plenty of disc golf ....
My husband and I went for a walk to this park and it was horrible watching how people dont respect the park and the people with dogs dont have them on leashes even tho they know their dog is aggressive and like to chase people and animals (other dogs, cats, squirrel, you name itthe little path is literally just dirt, and the part that has concrete on it is old and really bad its still holding on to life tho. The river was an ugly view because of all the trash (dont expect to see a clean river like in the pictures that people upload! You will be disappointed.
Great place to walk the dogs, the kids, bicycle ride, roller blade, etc. Paved and dirt paths.Lots of beautiful trees. Good parking at end of coffee road into scenic, as it dead ends into the parking lots. Walk down a dirt patch from the circle and cross the bridge, you are there.Bathrooms to the left a ways, tennis courts, play ground.
Not kept up or clean. Mostly done by the attention it seeks. No to good for dogs or children. ( yes there are homeless here)
Serene. A lovely place to bike or walk
Its a very nice maintain bike path walk path I enjoy walking that path when I get a chance
Wonderful place to play disc golf! Friendly people, bike/walking paths, playgrounds for children, tennis courts and bathrooms.
Lovely location to go for a walk with the family. Very clean.
Its a wonderful park to walk, take photos, bike ride, play frisbee games and the nature can be breathtaking at times! (Non drought timesBathrooms um I havent located any unless you travel east to La Loma park. Homeless is not too bad, parking is crowded on the weekends and sometimes during the week with construction going on next door. Wildlife consists of squirrels, ducks in the creek once in a while, and a rare occasion of a stray cat.
Nice way to start the day on a bike or walking this park. Stay on the path.. there are a few homeless but all are normally friendly.
Very good place to just sit and relax..the people are very laid back and the homeless people are always down to help you out.The scenery is good and the vibe is chill..the ambiance is tranq with mood altering things all around.
Took our BMX racers 1989-1994 practiceRode all over from Speckles BMX Park to Smyrna Park To 1000 Oaks to Modesto La Loma Dry Creek trails2012-2021
They need to turn the path lights ON!
A very refreshing place to go and get exercise while Praying 😊🙏🛐🙏💕
Nice trail but lots of homeless and trash
Great place for bike riding (road or trail), walking, jogging disk golf and anything else you want a park for.
The homeless issue is severe. They leave trash everywhere and have no respect for anyone.
Beautiful trail to run, walk or ride your bike on.
This park has been really cleaned up. Nice trails to walk can get a mountain feel in city
The park is beautiful and is used for disc golfing it appears. If you enter from the Scenic Road side, there is a small parking lot. However, beware of the homeless that camp there. There is a bridge that leads to the other side of the river. The other side of the river has paved walking and biking trails. I didn’t see any homeless hanging out on that side and it appeared to be more well kept. There may be a few scattered picnic tables but I did not see any barbecue pits. The river didn’t have any water right now, so I didn’t stay too long. Plus I wasn’t sure about the sketch people hanging out in the area.
Great place family friend and learn how to play Frisbee golf
Nice place to walk and just enjoy nature🌞
Great place for walk, run or just have some fun.
Great running and biking trails, tennis courts, disc golf, and a new playground!
Good place for physical activities. Theres a lot of trash around. The pathways getting destroyed or falling apart which can make walking a little dangerous.
Great place for a hike thats in town. And safely biking with kids. We started our walk at the bridge, went left all the way to Claus Rd and back. It was around a 7 mile walk. Felt great!
Great bike & walking trails..Tennis & basketball courts....
Great for walking or riding your bike or running good trail.
This is a beautiful park with a great walking/ biking. the bridge there is a bit rickety and the bolts are coming loose.. overall though it is decent.
Nice and easy hike.
Walked dogs here for 15 years.Rivers rim has little hills that are a fun little challenge.Walk from LaLoma Park toOld Oakdale Road or vice versa.Ive never had a problem.
The parks are beautoful this time of year, just choose a time that works for you and go to nature.I would avoid before 8am and after 8pm though.
Has changed a lot lived across the street from the dry creek since the 80s and I still remeber when there wasnt a bridge to get on the other side. We use to walk down to Oakdale rd or just cross the creek.Wouldnt get in that water now lol it sure has changed.
It was a wonderful trail to just go for a nice walk, bike ride or longboard ride.
Little bit of paradise for me...great paved trail and also side trailers though the majestic oak trees that line Dry Creek. I love the integration of the two disc golf courses...a nine hole and an eighteen hole course. I believe the playground is the works to get some new and better play structures for the kids. Great rolling hills and mowed meadows for picnics. A big covered pavillion. Tennis courts. A basketball court. Not too much vagrancy at this park that I have seen. tons of beautiful and shady oak trees for those summer days.
My dog likes it there...
Nice Tennis court, okay basketball court (at least it always has nets), and bathrooms with a water fountain. Grass is always green. Playground was taken out though. Used to be nice. Maybe theyll replace soon but until then its 3 🌟
Unkept. You would think since there is a disc golf course it would be better maintained. Alot of homeless people. Trash ,dog feces dead trees and dry weeds. Sad
Probably the prettiest place in all of Modesto. I would highly recommend walking from here along the Dry Creek Trail.
AKA Dry Creek Park is an Oasis in the center ofdreary Modesto. Great for long walks, biking, &all kinds of exercise. It runs thru the middle ofModesto from Claus to downtown. The entirewalk is alot of fun. Be especially cautious asyou get toward the downtown end...or whenyou are alone, for obvious reasons.
