We loved our burger bar experience. Great meals. They came out super fast and delicious. Very well priced for the area. Really friendly attentive staff!

Burger was delicious, 10/10 recommend the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon, I just wish I had known that I couldn’t order takeaway at the restaurant and had to do it online! I’ve done a lot of walking this weekend already!

Great burger!

Tasty small burgers but too expensive when two vegetarian burgers, two schooners, and some deep fried cauliflower with dipping sauce to share, costs nearly $100 - when compared to other restaurants in the area.

Amazing ribs and burgers! Tied to get a table on Sunday night, but ended up getting takeaway as it was super popular (get in early or book ahead!).The ribs came with chips and coleslaw and got devoured by my kids. My wife had the blue-cheese burger which was pretty special and I had my fave bacon burger 🙂Only issue was that one of my takeaway beers was wrong (they gave me a cheaper one), but Ill excuse them as they were super busy and I didnt check what I got until I was home.

I actually had the ribs here rather than a burger. After receiving 5 little bones with meat on them and the rest of the plate filled with fries and slaw, I wish I did order a burger. Having said that, the slaw was delicious. Here it is assumed you will pay with a card so they automatically add the credit card surcharge to your bill. If you pay cash, you may get asked if you want your change as we did. The burgers did look good!

The staff is so friendly and charming. The food is epic! Overall such a amazing experience! Definitely will be there again! Totally made my day.

Fair Dinkum burger felt like a fair dinkum rip off: 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of beetroot, fake letuce, rock hard patty, blonde bacon...for a fair price of $27. You also have to order online, and you cant add additional items like tomato or beets to their BB burger. Which we tried to explain to a gentleman on the phone, who was very quick to dismiss us. In the up side, chips were nice. Giving it a miss next time.

Horrendous customer service. Staff were super rude, didn’t clear tables. Chicken wings served with no side plates for bones or Serviettes.Margaritas are make with premix and are the worst I’ve ever had. The burgers are overrated. Mine was well over cooked and my youngest boys burger was raw inside. The only good thing food wise we’re the chicken wings - they tasted great, just something to put the bones in and somewhere to wipe your hands would be nice 🙄

Canadian vibe burger restaurant. Very extensive and dietary inclusive menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. The burgers hit the spot, personally nothing mind blowing.

Just ordered some burgers take away as we were staying up the road. Great burgers, and the staff were super helpful. Would go again!

Quite frankly, this was a little disappointing. The food was good but overpriced. what was most unpleasant was you were rushed to eat your food so they could turn the table over in 1 hour 30 yet they took 45 minutes to send you your main.

I would highly recommend the truffle (beefburger! The beef patty was tender and cooked to a nice medium rare, dripping in the truffle aioli sauce. All their burgers are served on gourmet charcoal sesame buns. The skinny fries were fairly average and unseasoned - definitely order a sauce to go with it. My friend’s ordered sweet potato fries and onion rings, which were both better quality. Acidic and crisp, the dry pink lady apple cider paired nicely with the meal.One thing that my friends and I found ambiguous was the way the menu was written. It led us to believe that the side (of friescame with the burger. Instead of sharing between 2, we all got our own pot of fries. Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish it all and that led to a lot of food waste. I wish the waiter had pointed this out to us at the start.Definitely try to book in advance if you want to dine here for a weekend dinner. While it is not a cheap meal, nothing at Thredbo is. Overall, I liked this place and I would come back ☺️

The Burgers where amazing, full of flavour. We tried the Muffle, great vegetarian option, beef burger, BLT and the hot and spicy. All were very tasty.

They were ok burgers (not sure what was going on with adding coloring to the bunswith the meat done nicely (medium rare). The mull wine was good. Chips were shoggy, probably the container where they were served stacked didnt help. The fact that we could have some reasonably, ok food in Thredbo is in itself a feat, so highly recommended, even if their bar stools were very uncomfortable.

My husband and and I came here for dinner during our visit to Thredbo. Food was great and I really appreciated having the option to go bunless and have an open sandwich. Our only complaint is that the burgers don’t come with any sides so fries etc have to be ordered separately - for the price, we would have expected something on the side.

Super friendly staff and very vibrant environment. We first stopped for a takeaway only then decided to dine in and have a drink as well. Highly recommended.

Had the BB classic burger, with sweet potato wedges and cole slaw. Enjoyed everything... burger was really tasty with charcoal brioche. Happy with the choice.

These guys do a top burger (Firecracker was awesome), which is packed full of deliciousness and just the right size. And who can resist those perfect onion rings with a bottle of Koszi Pale Ale. 😁 Oh… and that patio on a summer’s day is such a great spot to chill and take in the mountain (and riverviews.

Really nice team! We had a mix up with the orders, we took Kellie but our order was for Elie, we called them and they were super nice about the situation and easily sorted it out for us. Cannot rate them highly enough! We came back two nights in a row we were so impressed. Can honestly say that they have the best service out of all the venues in Thredbo.

Great food and great service. The time between ordering and receiving the food was a bit longer than one would have liked, however it was no big inconvenience and it can easily be put down to limited staff due to covid

Really delicious burgers, especially the thick meat patty. Not so keen on the black bun though, it was a little bit too chewy. If there was an option for seven stars Id chose it. This place is excellent.Yes, the food is first class and the hospitality is welcoming and personal. I know many businesses in Thredbo are having a hard time just operating with the lack of seasonal staff thanks to Covid. The team at Burger Bar are obviously working super hard, probably longer hours than theyd like, but theyre still making it a really great experience for those that visit and I just want to say a huge thankyou for a fantastic evening at this place.

Where do I start. Its located near the tennis court so pass the shops and main area. Its at the Riverside Cabins. Its worth the trek! Hubby and I were ravenous after our hike to the top of Mt Kosciusko and this was a fantastic reward. We ordered the Blue Cheese burger and chicken buffalo bill with sides of sweet potato chips and red onion rings. We smashed it. It was soooo good. The best burger weve had in the area! We could not fault anything. My chicken was char grilled and I loved the taste of the char. Hubby said his burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned well.. Even the sides were spot on the onion rings were perfect just crunchy and soft and sweet inside and so were my sweet potato fries. We had a nice spot outside too with river view! Service was great too. Super efficient and friendly. It wasnt the cheapest but was satisfying. Will def be back! Thank you for the great food and service. Keep it up!

Great staff and great food. Went to the Knickerbocker on the first night of a holiday in Thredbo and was very impressed with how good the food was and how great the service was, shout-out to steve who served us. Went back 2 nights later because it was just that good. Highly Recommend.

Great burgers and service. Couldn’t ask for more. Lovely truffle burger on charcoal brioche bun. Kids enjoyed their chicken burgers with fries. Substantial size. Nearly the same size as adult burger. Nice atmosphere too. Will be back for sure.

Fantastic food, great vegetarian options, and friendly service. Moreover, amongst a sea of overpriced eateries this place offered genuinely decent prices for their food. Definitely recommend for anybody staying at Thredbo who doesnt want to spend $230 on a two course meal with drinks.

I went to Thredbo burger bar with my partner and stepson for my partners birthday. The staff were so attentive and even went to the effort of singing happy birthday to my partner, along with a brownie topped with a candle.The food came out so quickly. The onion rings, Mac and cheese croquettes and the shoe string fries were amazing! The only thing I would say is the burgers were on the small side. After completing the summit walk that day we were pretty hungry. The brownies at the end filled us up though 😇

Cosy and efficient, we went with our 11 month old daughter and it was so good not to stress about her getting upset the staff were so friendly, the lady who took our order said shes put our order before the table of 8 next to us because she knew bub wouldnt be that patient, she also recommended a good drink for me and when it come out incorrect she went and got the correct one and didnt charge us for the wrong one which she left anyway. Food was fabulous and staff I cannot fault. Will be back here everytime we visit Thredbo.

The Burger Bar at Thredbo might be my favourite restaurant. It’s absolutely perfect for where it is. Nothing like an amazing burger, awesome fries and delicious chicken wings after a day on the mountain. Add in a great wine list and finish it off with the epic service & hospitality from Steve and the team and you’ve got a great night out.

Takeaway on a really busy night, they were getting slammed. I appreciate the guy running the place getting me the beer that was part of my order, to drink while I waited, despite having a thousand other things to do! Potato and sweet potato chips were crisp and tasty. The burgers unfortunately were overcooked, dry and not very generously proportioned. But I was not going to go back after I got them home to the hungry bunch of boys. After reading other reviews, I think the staff were just having a bad night, and this place probably deserves another chance.

A delicious meal after a long day of hiking, just a short walk from the chair lift. Make sure to book ahead as it does get quite busy.

I went here a couple of months ago I cannot believe I forgot to leave a review.Absolutely blown away at their AMAZING burgers and service.I ordered the firecracker because I love a little heat. I was expecting it to be a tiny bit of a kick but they really delivered on their promise on the heat. Perfectly spicy. And yes it was HOT! Just how I like it.Some of the best flavour combinations Ive tried and the food tasted SO fresh!Quality service as well. I made sure to ask for the names of the servers so I could mention them specifically when I reviewed but unfortunately its been a while and I can barely remember. The young gentleman and the owner (I thinkwere on point with their politeness and responsiveness.

Loved the couch the food and the drinks. The staff were amazing ate the double cheesy a very tasty meaty patty. Whilst waiting for our takeaway they allowed a tab at the bar. Highly recommend on tap beers and the schnapps #devilstongue if you want to dine in highly recommend calling in advance for a reservation

Cosy, Comfort food. Perfect spot for dinner if you’re in Thredbo. Food was perfect, served quickly too. We had our 15 month old with us as well and it was all perfect. Well priced for the area as well. The staff were super friendly from the minute we walked in until we left.

Best hot wings (buffalo stylein Australia. Not kidding. And one of the best burgers Ive had in Australia for sure. We were extremely lucky to find this place as all the other restaurants here are well reviewed but not that good.Dont worry about the black bun, it tastes just like a regular bun (they call it a charcoal bun, its a popular concept here, but doesnt taste at all like charcoal).
