Been going to this shop for a while now and Andrew gives the most pristine, consistent haircuts I have ever had. Very focused and attentive to detail, and can hold the most genuine conversation at the same time. You are in good hands with any of these guys here.

Ive been going to this place for the past 2 years and dont plan on changing any time soon. To call these guys Barbers, is a major downplay to the profession. These guy are Artist...Best in the business...and they take pride in what they do. Ive yet to see a dissatisfied customer after getting a hair cut.Andrew Pipe is surprisingly good and knowledgeable when it comes to African American hair. In the 2 years that Ive gotten hair cuts from him, Ive never had any razon bumps or any ingrown hairs on the back of my head. Andrew has also given me one of best beard trims Ive ever had. One day I went into the barbershop and asked Andrew to give me a high taper fade, with a straight crisp line up. Without looking that up on his phone, to figure out what that is (like what all of you are doing now), He got it done and made it look great. Then there was another time where I asked Andrew to give me the same hair cut, that Wesley Snipes had in the movie "Blade"...even when I offered Andrew a very generous tip to get it done, Andrew refused to do it. His reasoning was simple and fair..." It wont look, Im doing you a favor". If your Barber doesnt stop you from getting a bad haircut, then your Barber doesnt have your best interest in mind.Overall, I really enjoy going to this place. It a great place to unwind, relax and just forget about all of the stresses that life has to offer. Thanks for being awesome, I am customer for life!!!

I’ve never seen a grown man (the ownerbehave like an absolute child the way he has. He absolutely berated a customer for they way they parked and screamed obscenities at her like a psychopath for about 5 minutes. So trashy. Unbelievable.

I got a haircut here from Chayse and it was the best cut I’ve had. He obviously knows what he’s doing and has earned my business for as long as he’s here.

Hands down the best in the state! Amazing atmosphere, highly skilled, professional barbers, and always a good laugh. Ive been coming back for years, never felt rushed or left disappointed. Quite the opposite. Books fill quick, but once youre in, you wont go looking somewhere else ever again.

Hunter did a great job on my hair. He listened to what I wanted, and spent a lot longer on my hair getting the details right than many other barbers Ive been to.

I’ve been going to this Barbershop since they were open in downtown slc. Chayse is by far the best barber I’ve had. He has great attention to detail and does an amazing job at making sure my hair looks great! There’s a reason why I followed them to their new location. It’s not convenient for me but they are the best so its worth the travel.

I found this place by accident but it is a great place to get your hair and beard taken care of. Jake took his time and made sure I was happy and satisfied. Very interesting bunch of people hanging out there. Great atmosphere and very skilled barbers. You cant go wrong with anyone there.Jake has moved to Oregon so I am having Chayse cut my hair. He is a great barber. He is great at making sure that you are comfortable and satisfied with your hair cut and other amenities that they have.

Andrew did a awesome job straight razoring my head and beard. Also, my beard trim looks sharp. The atmosphere of the shop is laid back and professional with barbers who create good conversation and are very personable. I highly recommend checking them out. Once youve experienced a good barber you will never go back to a regular hair cut place like great clips, sport clips, etc.

Ive never had a better haircut in my life. My grandma used to make fun of me, constantly shouting things like "nerd" and "loser" when I walked into the room, but ever since getting my haircut at throwback things have changed. Not only have the constant insults stopped, my grandma will actually spend time with me in public, on top of all that shes actually started introducing me to some of her friends, I actually have a date with one this weekend. Life couldnt be better, thanks throwback, in particularly Andrew for the sick new cut and the brand new life.

Andrew has been my go-to barber for years. Add in the relaxed, nonchalant nature of Throwbacks and frankly, I wish my hair grew faster. Everyone is great and good fun to chat with. You definitely feel like family.

The best spot to have your hair or beard done! I have a duck dinasty style of beard and could not find a shop that could handle it. I was blessed to find throwback. I have been going there since last year and the guys at the shop are awesome. Jake is my go to guy for beard, but all of them are just solid ! Cheers!

Bruh.... If you have not checked out Throwbacks Barber Company, you are missing out. Wyatt gave me the best beard trim. He cleaned it up nicely and it feels so much better. The vibe is nice too. The old school feel and fresh cuts makes this place hands down, best barber in town. I will be back soon.

Amazing service I feel fresh and clean after every cut! I’ve been going Wyatt for several months and his attention to definitely is incredible. All the guys are super chill and friendly. Making and canceling appointments online is very convenient.

If you aren’t going to Throwbacks to get your hair cut you’re wrong. Luke is an absolute wizard on the clippers/scissors and will have you looking fresher than you’ve ever been before. He takes his time and truly cares about every cut and beard trim. I’d never trust anyone else with a razor against my throat but his steady hands are a cut above. Go see Luke at Throwbacks for more than just a cut, it’s an experience.

I’ve been going to Throwbacks Barber Company ever since I moved to SLC 3 years ago. I started at their down town location and followed them to the current location on Redwood Rd. Excellent service and a rad group of barbers, I typically work with Chayse but all the barbers here are good. Please show them some support and tip your barber!

I scheduled an appointment with Wyatt Hull and Andrew Pipe to cut my dad and brothers hair. We have been trying to find a good barber for a long time. We have definitely found our barbershop. These guys do a great job. Its an old style barbershop that has a very unique atmosphere. They cut great hair and we will for sure be back. Give them a try you wont regret it, best barber shop in town!

After going to 5 different barbers since moving here a year ago, Im happy to say I found my place. Andrew Pipe gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. 10/10 recommend! All the barbers are amazing at thier craft. Jay always does amazing with my haircuts and beard trims. I will always recommend others to come here over other barbershops. The shop itself is nice and relaxing and looks great. You wont find better barbers or a better shop in the valley.

Love this place. GREAT haircut and beard trim/shaping. The guys stayed late and took good care of me. Made me feel like I was the 1stCut of the day. My only complaint is theyre a little far from Huntsville, AL, so getting another cut isnt going to happen soon!

Throwbacks is an awesome new barber in slc, the shop it’s self is a great atmosphere. You can pop your head phones in if you want to just chill or there’s always some good conversation to have with any of the staff or clients. I highly recommend, also it very easy and convenient to make an appointment and are great at trying to work in same day appointments! I recommend chayse but honestly everyone is awesome

This is a top notch barber shop with a very skilled, friendly and experienced staff! They cut hair, trimmed and shaped beards for many famous bands including Bring Me The Horizon. I have been to many barber shops in Wyoming, Washington and Colorado, this is by far the best one I have ever been too. They are very fair when it comes to price especially for the unmatched service and quality you receive. They do it all including straight razor shaves with hot cream. If you want to look and feel your best this is the place to go.
