Food is always delicious!
It was Above Average but could Definitely do a better job with quality Deserts on there Buffet!! There Fried Chicken 🍗 was really good.
Perfectly done Prime Rib today and attentive and friendly service
My wife, daughter and I had been looking for a decent sit down meal in Shipshewana, none to be found. All buffets and sandwiches. Not exactly what I had in mind. So we found Tiffanys up the road. Well worth the drive. Daughter had the buffet and we had traditional meals. Very good food, great portions and friendly service. Impressed!
Very reasonable. The Manhattan was great
We had a scrumptious breakfast with homemade biscuits!
Great restaurant! The Beef Manhattan was a pleasure to eat. I did not partake but the pies looked delicious. If ever in the area again a must stop.
My family has been here multiple times. Its a great alternative to essenhaus and blue gate. But much cheaper. Also less touristy. I usually get the buffet, but the chicken meals come with bread on the regular menu. Their bread is delicious. Highly recommend.
UPDATE: Back again. This time I tried the Beef Manhattan. So good!! Now I will be torn between the chicken or the Beef Manhattan. Wonderful restaurant slightly off the beaten path but worth it. Dont miss this place!Small buffet approx $12 per person at this time, but everything is so much fresher and tastier than the big buffets close by that charge a huge price. Save your money, fill your tummy with foods that fresh and tasty and make your tummy smile. The buffet desserts are awesome. My favorite is the Caramel tapioca pudding with Snicker bars in it and the spice cake fluff. Yum
The food was luke warm. Was not amish cooking to me. It was not good for $41 for 2 buffets and 2 drinks.
Good place to eat. Good home-cooked food. They were very short staffed so the service was a little slow, but it wasnt the waitresses fault. She did very good to think that she was pretty much the only waitress they had that night.
Still great Pizza Burgers, just not quite the same as 20 yrs ago. Maybe my memory isnt either, or maybe the recipe has changed?? Lol
We have gone here for over 20 years and always felt it to be a great value for what you get for the price. I called in recently to see what they had on the buffet and the lady told me the Buffet was now $18.99. For that price we will got to Essenhaus or Blue gate. Food was fine for $12 but not for those prices.
Food was very good. Got the buffet. Server was kind. 🙂
Food was good as usual. Service was slow.
We just left Tiffanys after getting carry out. Be advised, they have two sets of prices. Their online menu has one price but when we paid it was way higher. For 3 of us cost $45! Were talking breaded tenderloins and Cole slawd here... I addressed the situation while still at the restaurant, to no response, nobody cared. That is very poor business practice. The price on the menu is what you should charge. I guess they charge extra if it looks like youre from out of town.
They offer the option to scan and pay from receipt and then chase you down in the parking lot and accuse me of not paying. Dont offer that option if you do not have procedures to approach customer about paying their bill. How embarrassing.Food was way overpriced and not the best either.
Nice home cooked style food. Quick service.
Pretty good place to eat and good Amish cooked food
Fried chicken is Delicious!
Several years ago this was an awesome place to eat. Not so much anymore. Very limited on food choices, poor quality and selection. Way over priced. for the same money you can go to Blue Gate in shippshawa and have triple the selection plus way better food. Very disappointed. Not going back.
We had the best time at this place. The place is so humble with humble and joyful pple. Will definitely revisit
This is the place to go if you want home cooking without the mess to clean up. Friendly workers, good food, daily specials and cheap prices! Love the small hot food buffet also
Absolutely spectacular food and kind service! Love it!
A nice but small lunch buffet. The food was excellent.
Good food and service. Menu was a little small tonight. But we had the buffet and it was really good.
This place use to be someplace... They had made themselves a name. Now, if you go for dinner its a joke. Last time I went the dinner options were the salad bar, the hot bar (only had chicken on it), and 2 of the specials, that was it.. couldnt order off of the menu or anything from the grill, as they told me it sent down at 2pm. So sad to see such an icon to be diminished to nothing
I was excited to go to this place on the way through on a business trip. However, it was a huge let down. Only reason its getting three stars is the food was good however, service is HORRIBLE took our order delivered one set of drinks and disappeared. Never returned.. Didnt even bother to bring out the hot sauce husband asked for buffet. We couldnt even get our bill cashier had to find our order. Doubtful we will ever return.
I dont know what happened to this place. The menu was extremely limited (Im sure to lack of staff my family did the buffet. The chicken was cold, the lettuce for salads was brown, the buffet itself was grimy. The price was insane for the options. It used to be a great place.
This place has really gone down hill. I know the pandemic hasn’t helped but it wasn’t the greatest before that either. Service was so bad the last time I just walked out. I’m a local and would never recommend this place to anyone.
Was from Out of Town, attending The Frieslan Fall Classic Horse Auction and decided to go across the street to eat at Tiffanys Restaurant. Sat down at the table and ordered Ice Tea and the Buffet, so I got up and fixed My Plate. After I ate, the waitress gave Me My pay out slip cause seen I was ready to go. I got up and left a tip and walked up to pay at the cash register, I pulled My wallet out to pay, and she said "Your Meal is payed for Sir, Thank You for Your Service, cause I had My Vietnam Veteran hat on. So I Thanked Her again and walked out the door stunned, and Very full from the Meal. The Food was Great and a Very Nice atmosphere and The Help was Very Nice and Clean. Want to THANK them again and hope when anyone that goes thur Topeka, Indiana, they stop by Tiffanys Restaurant and ENJOY Their Foo asI did. My God Bess Everyone Well.
Nice, friendly atmosphere. They have good food choices on the buffet, and my favorite thing to order from the menu is Turkey Manhattan.
Update: Had the buffet on 10.8.21A good deal for the money. A good selection of salad, fruit, and desert along with chicken, noodles, a vegetable, and potatoes and gravy.Had coffee and sugar free pie for a meeting there.Always good service!
Chicken was excellent, homemade mashed potatoes were delicious, service was outstanding. We drove 45 min. And will gladly do it again.
Used to be the best home cooked food around. Not anymore. My husbands pizza burger had to be sent back as it was rare. Nothing like the ones they used to make. My beef Manhatten was very good. Although you couldnt enjoy your food because the air wasnt working. When it is 92 degrees outside you dont enjoy sitting in an unair-conditioned restaurant.
Food choice was beef Manhattan or turkey Manhattan or Swiss steak or buffet . No grill order because not enough help. AC was not working very warm . There was me and a 1 couple in there . There were about 6 employees running around 1 older amish lady was they only one I saw doing any thing . The rest were either chit chating or horsing around be loud . Very sad
Delicious, homemade Amish cooked food with a fresh salad bar and homemade soups and desserts. Well definitely be back for the dinner and supper buffets! Must try if youre In the area. They also have homemade Amish breads and desserts, pies that are baked fresh daily.
Yummy and delicious inexpensive food. Customer service was very pleasant. I had a ham and cheese omelette. But, it had American cheese. Ick... I asked for some cheddar and she gladly brought some. We would definitely go again!
Really good buffet ($12.95on Friday night. Delicious hot bar with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, noodles, chicken dressing, fried fish and much more. Really good salad bar with cole slaw, broccoli salad, apple sauce, etc. There was soup and desserts too
First time eating here at Tiffanys Family Restaurant. I ordered the Lunch Pork Tenderloin, it came with the peas/carrots , slice of homemade bread (which was really good), and i ordered the waffle fries as my potato and cheese sauce on the side. The waffle fries were really good, however the pork tenderloin was just plain and kind of dry for my taste. The cheese sauce also came cold, not sure if thats normal or not, but thought I would at least mention it.Overall I would come back and order something else.
The food was delicious. I had the noon buffet and there was lots of good food. Our waitress was very attentive. I wish I knew her name because she deserves to be recognized for her good service.
The food and atmosphere were pretty good here. The only thing is is that it took 35+ minutes to get my order. They mixed it up once and gave my order to another person once.
The Fried Chicken buffet was great. Love the noodles. Lots of choices on the salad bar, and loved the Chili. I messed up, though, and didnt leave room for pie.
Home-cooked flavor. The Beef Manhatten and pies are my go to items. Very reasonably priced
Amish authentic go for the pie , service is great
Regular, weekly guest for lunch and never have issues. Good food, decent service and fantastic salad bar.Now for their weekday breakfast.. Oh, breakfast. Shame to think of breakfast as a struggle. I have visited twice and will not be fooled again. Unless youre an older individual within a group AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Both times the place was slow with a few people (5 tops).. both times it was 5 mins plus to get drinks and order taken. Took 20 minutes for my order to show up incorrect (eggs, potatoes, toast.. no potatoesand the staff didnt seem to mind my answer of everything was "fine". For service industry pros, fine=not good. Trust me, stop in for lunch but keep on driving if you want a cheap, easy, and quick breakfast like it should be. Try Corn Crib Cafe in Shipshe- A++++++
Good food, pleasant attentive staff. Deserts are fantastic. Didnt care for their homemade ranch dressing. Could just be me. Salad bar was very fresh and good.
The weekend buffet is pretty good. If the place is busy they have a hard time keeping it supplied. Do not get the fish dinner. Its just not worth it. Their Manhattans are a full meal.
Stopped in while on vacation to place a take out order which we were told would take 20-25 minuets ended up taking just over an hour. Nobody seemed to know what was going on or when our food was going to be ready when we asked several workers. While waiting we also saw a waiter spill a pile on napkins on the floor to which he picked back up and put on the counter to roll silverware and also saw a dirty menu go into a piece of pie that they then brought out to a customer. The manager was informed we were unhappy about our food taking 3 times as long as we were told and also about the unsanitary things we noticed and didn’t do much of anything about it. He offered 10% off. Very unhappy and definitely wouldent recommenced this restaurant!!
Outstanding food at a great price. The pie was unbelievable (better than anywhere in Shipshewana). Had the Manhattan which was delicious and more than what was expected. Defiantly a go-to for lunch/dinner. I will be back to try the breakfast soon. Service was great too.
