This was the greatest experience I’ve had in 15 years!!!! The price is awesome, the service was over the top inviting and my nails are gorgeous!!!! You have definitely made me a customer for life and totally worth the 45 minute drive. Thank you ❤️

BEWARE, My wife had her nails done there yesterday and ended up in the emergency room with MRSA on one of her fingers. THIS is obviously not a clean salon. Wow

She did fantastic. Would have wished they were a little shorter. But overall was very happy. Would go back again

Quick great set of nails

I got my nails done yesterday, and decided on a matte black design. Shortly after I left, the polish started chipping.. so I went back and they removed the polish and did a different design free of charge, they remained polite and easy to work with, working me in during a busy time. I go there all of the time! Definitely recommend!

The owner is very rude ! . They do not take their time on doing your nails . They literally don’t check to see if your nails are the same size . I told the owner nicely if he can fix my nails because one nail was longer than another . Worst nails I’ve ever had very crooked as well . Do not recommend!

Most of the time this is a good place to go. They don’t always acknowledge you when you walk in the door. The gal that did my nails was nice and she did a good job.

The owner was very rude, I asked how long was the wait and he said he don’t know wait your turn. I’m not used to such rude behavior. I’m new to this area and someone recommended me to them. I decided not to get my nails done there.

The lady who did my nails was nice enough but did a poor job on my nails; the paint layers were visibly uneven, especially around the edges, and she left a gouge mark in one of my fingernails. Probably will not be coming back to this place again.

i will give minus star if i could, this place dont even deserve one star. just received the worst service i have ever had. the lady who did my nail had really bad attitude and keep using her phone, rudely tell me “ go wash your hand” and when i came back i have to sit there for 30 seconds waiting for her to finish on her phone, she ignore me when j ask her opinion on the color and can’t even put the stone in the middle, i have to ask her if she could push in a little bit. the job is also sloppy i will never go back and wont recommend this place either. feel like i have been robbed for the price and service.

I went to them for my birthday.and the same day the nail polish started to pell off.so I went back to them and it happened again.then I went to them on September the 3 and I had just gotten my own nails done and it peeled off the same day.waste of money.im never going back to them ever again.😥💔😡😣😔

I walked in, hoping to get my nails just polished & jelled. I love the white tip look. Had to wait a little while, like 40 minutes. Its a busy, busy place today, on Thursday. They do such a great job.. There the best, in Mason City, Ia

It was my first time getting my nails done professionally and they made them super uneven. They kept switching between people and they were just rushing through it really fas and on the first day I had them done they started to feel loose right away. They forgot to top coat one of my fingers so one looks Matte and the others are shiny. The are Really rough on your nails. They just tug and pull and didnt even cover with nail polish all the way. Never going back. Worst experience 😪.

High dollar for crooked nails..used to be a decent spot for nails so not sure what happened. Girl rushed doing my nails and really didnt seem intrested in even doing them.. went back to get filled after a week(!)had a guy do them, he fixed the crooked one that was the worseout of the 3 bad ones,, he did great, very nice kid, however, couldnt shape nails to save his life..

I went in and my nails turned out nothing like what I asked for, I asked the girl to fix certain things three or four times and every time she said I’ll do it later and never did, got the colors right but way longer than what I asked for, not the shape I asked for, and not even close to the design

I wanted a professional elegant look. Great for the summer. Happy she took her time and made them look good.

I love this place so much! Always very gentle and kind and I took my sister here, (she has autism and dyslexiaand the nail tech she had made an effort at communicating and laughed at her story and jokes. I’m not sure who she had but her nails looked so pretty for 4th of July and we were both very pleased. I am never disappointed with the acrylics I get here and overall love it.

I went in with a picture of Matt black coffin nails and I ask if the girl if she could do red and silver rhinestones on the middle finger and she said yes and she did a freestyle on it and it made the look of the nails 100x better,she was very professional about it and I live them and theyre cheap

Bad communication!I came in only asking for something that would be 20 dollers ended up paying almost 40. For a simple french tip. I dont get my nails done at all so I was treating myself but they where rude and did not care about my experience. I will not go there again and would not recommend.

I love 💕 going here ❤️. They joke around a little bit, but I always leave amazed at how great my nails look❣️ The owners and the technicians really take pride in what they do, and the prices are reasonable too!!

I went there to get my acrylics off, I asked the lady to soak them. She said she would soak them and then grabbed a tip and used it to rip my acrylic nails off. My nails are extremely damaged. It cause layers of my nail to rip off, on one finger, it nearly ripped off the entire top half of my nail off. It was very pink and tender. She tried to make them look better, put nail polish on. It ended up costing me $46. My nails are extremely sensitive now, and extremely thin.

I went in with my 3 friends and only had an appointment for 2. They kindly sat us all down right away . My friends had hard designs and they did the designs so good & asked for a good price ! I’ve been before and i’m definitely going again .

Great place. Did my nails beautifully. I didn’t really have much of an idea how I wanted my nails this time so I just picked my color and let the tech get creative.

Seriously love this place! They take a little bit longer than expected but they took their time I have the prettiest set of nails I have ever had!!! They even create 3-D flowers with acrylic! If you know nails this is a particularly hard detailed skill!!! I recommend this place! And the price! I seriously told the lady shut up on accident when She told me the price. I just couldn’t believe it. I wish I could post a picture of my nails but it won’t let me. The nail tech said bring me any set and I bet I can do it so I’m going to take her up on her offer

Went in for a full set acrylic with gel and was in and out in 15 minutes. She did a very fast, sloppy job. There is glue all over my nails. This place is not very sanitary. I would not visit again. The service was below average. They are not very friendly, barely said hello and did not say thank you or goodbye. Very dirty and unsanitary. The male who did my acrylic set had way too long of nails that duh into my skin and he did my nails- very painful

Rarely do the workers speak to you. The nails look nice. They upcharge without asking if you want the extra service.

I was visiting out of state for a family party and had extra time to get a mani/pedicure. It cost $41 for normal nail polish. The nail technician did take her time when doing these services but didnt talk, which is fine. There were a few mistakes on my nails polished but it wasnt that big of a deal to make a fuss over.Very clean environment. The male manager wasnt the friendliest guy nor very welcoming. Seems more popular for acrylic nails to be done.

I have gone to this nail salon a couple of times. The first time was good and I had a nice pedicure. The second pedicure that I had there, the young man providing the service was very rough and did not seem interested in his job. He did not speak to me the entire time. The most recent visit is the most concerning. I had a previously gone to another salon (I wasnt happy with the results and did not want to go backand I had gotten a gel full-set which was completely intact. I asked the owner of the business to cut the nails down and thin them out which she did. She was wearing a particularly striking halographic nail polish that I wanted to try. The price board at the store read $25 for gel fill. The nails looked really nice but the owner charged me for a gel full-set (which she did not provide), an additional $10 for the halographic nail polish plus a $1 fee for using a debit card. I stupidly tipped $4 which means that my gel FILL cost me $50. If you like price gouging, this is the place to go.

Have been a customer for 2 years. Go once a month for a fill or new nails if they feel I need them. I get Complement from everyone who sees my nails on how nice they look and where I had them done.

They were busy but were amazing! I absolutely love going there because they do amazing work everytime and theyre super nice!

This is the only place that makes sure my nails are exactly how I want them and are happy to make them look good whereas the other places made it obvious they did not like doing the shape I like-I highly recommend!!!

When I got my nails done, they turned out beautiful. This is only after about 2 weeks and they are all still on.

I waited for an hour in the chair for a pedi that took 20 minutes. They didnt even get the dead skin off my feet even after I made a point to say they really needed it. Dont believe I will be coming back here ever!

I walked into the store and someone asked me if I had an appointment (I didI said yes and he said okay. I stood at the door waiting for twenty minutes with a large line building behind me. I was then told to pick out a color and sit down. I waited for an hour in the lobby chairs, then I sat down in the chair where they would do my nails. I had to wait for another half hour while I watched three women around me walk in and get immediate service. I watched the one chair go through three women before someone even started my nails. They were very rude, I will not come back here ever again.

Terrible experience. I was never told a wait time when I walked in and told them what I wanted. They told me to pick a color and sit in the chair. After waiting an hour with a 3 year old who was very excited to get her nails done, I asked how much longer. The women told me it would be another hour. I asked why she didnt tell me it was that long a wait when I first arrived, she responded very rudly and did not take fault. I walked out after that. I will never give them my service again.

I had a very negative experience here. The man doing my nails appeared exasperated at having to do my nails, sighing and otherwise not speaking or jumping on his phone at every break. They turned out ok but $30 appeared over the normal gel mani price. Wont go back.

Poor sanitary practices. The job that was done on my $40 pedicure is something my great niece could’ve done at 6yrs old and that would’ve been free. Plus, RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!!

I wish I could rate zero stars, but I will settle for one. I get my nails and toes done regularly, so when I came to Mason City to visit a family member in the hospital, I decided to get my nails done. I scheduled an appointment for myself and a few of my nieces. My appointment was at 11 am, but I had my sister take two of the girls first, since it would take me a few more minutes to arrive from the hospital. My sister walked in at 11:03 am, but she had been in the parking lot since 10:45 am. There were at least 5 people getting pedicures, and a two people getting their nails done (they had stated that they open at 11:00 am when we made the appointment). When I arrived at 11:10 am my sister was waiting since the place was full. We asked how long it would be, since I would be leaving for the airport and they didnt look like we would even be serviced within the next 45 min. The nail tech (and possibly the ownersaid he didnt know and if we wanted service, I should have been on time. I stated that my sister had been there, and three of them could have been started already. They clearly shouldnt have made appointments if they were full, and they had to have known in advance, because the place had customers before the time it was advertised to open. He made a few rude comments, and my sister asked him why he was so rude and why he would treat customers that way. I could not believe the horrible customer service and the comments that were coming out of his month. I told everyone we were leaving and that I would never give my business to someone so rude. I had heard from a friend that place was known to be rude, and had heard of negative experiences, but I went here because they were the only place I found advertised to be open at 11 am on a Sunday. I will not make that mistake again. Listen to people when they tell you about bad experiences. It is worth it to spend your hard earned money on a place with good customer service. This was the rudest I have ever been treated at a nail shop. I will never come to Tips and Toes again.

Will never go back! I get shellac on my real nails. Tried going for the first time here and they about ruined my nails. They filed them down low and made them thin. Two chipped before a week and went back to get fixed, the young girl was rude and just hurried to do them and they ended up lumpy and terrible! Nope Anas nails for me!!

Always get great service! Smiles, and perfect nails! One time my daughter smudged her toes after we left . I took her back to get them redone knowing I was going to pay her again, it was my daughters fault. Tried to pay her and she chased us out wouldnt take our money . They are wonderful! ❤

Got a full set...everything looked great. Came back for a fill and a lady did a horrible job. Owner herself tried to fix them, still didnt look great. Gel started peeling off 2 days later(which gel is supposed to last longer), and 2 of my nails broke off within a few days
