I’m new here in Iowa Cedar Rapids please help me to find gym I love it if they are teamwork

Mercy Aqua Therapy staff at this location are incredible to work with.

This was my first time back in about a year, they have done a great job of cleaning up and refreshing.

Solid gym, has everything you need to be successful, friendly staff, and plenty of racks, machines and weight for everybody.

I joined this gym about 3 weeks ago I paid for a full year up front because they said they had a $200 disconnect fee if you disconnected prior to the first year, within a couple of weeks of starting, actually within the first use of starting their ellipticals bothered my knees. their ellipticals have a longer stride and their bit old and so they stick a bit and I have knee damage in both knees. I brought them a doctors note and asked them if I paid their disconnection fee and their first month can I have the rest of my money back. the elliptical to the only reason why I joined apparently the owners words were. You should have read the waiver better. I asked all my questions verbally and expected they would be reasonable. The website said friendly atmosphere. My old gym had a friendly atmosphere this one not so much. Maybe half friendly. The other half made me feel uncomfortable so I would hurry up scan and go upstairs where their Ellipticals are. I really had a poor experience overall. I was on one of their ellipticals and was approached by someone bothered by all its squeeking. I explained they were old. I had actually visited the gym 10-15 years ago in its former glory when everything was newer and those seemed to be the same Elipticals. Anyway I used a quiet er one the next time. They varied. They mentioned trying one of their trainers and I thought Im sure you want more money out of me yet. No thanks I have learned my lesson there. I wonder how soon can you sign the disconnect my membership paper. Will I need a lawyer present.

Honestly love everything about this gym. The staff is super friendly, theres a huge variety of classes offered all day, the equipment is well maintained and the price is perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! My fav classes are BodyJam (for all you dancersand BodyPump (lifting weights to music with knowledgeable instructors)

I go for Mercy physical therapy but the atmosphere seems great. I love that they have tanning and a pool too!

Rarely have to wait on equipment/machines....enjoy working out here and hitting the sauna after

I just signed up and started using this gym. It is big, has a pool, sauna, steam room, new crossfit area, cycling room, group workout area. Essentially they have everything you could want. Price is extremely fair they have a student and military discount! Overall I havent found anything i dislike yet!

Its an ok gym a lot of the equipment isnt taken care of but works every so often one of the machines gets broken but it takes him a ton of time to fix it. People there are ok, sometimes there are annoying people but not to bad.Try the gym out see if its for you just dont expect anything nice or special except it does have a big room in the back it did have a sled but I dont know if theyre able to bring that back because the room got hit by the derecho it looks like they are about to repair that room and open it back up soon.This is just my own opinion on this gym.

Has a hot and wet sauna, as well as a pool and sun tanning beds. Honestly if this was a 24 hr gym that would be awesome, but with the biggest membership you can go to the northland 24/7 gym which is smaller but gets the job done.

I go there for pt. And the therapist that has been working with me is tonally awesome.

If you like finding fingernail clippings all over the gym, crossfit room, and sauna then this is the place for you!

my husband and I cancelled our membership in person, was told by the employee she would take care of it. Seven months later and the cost was still being taken out of our account. When I finally got someone to get back to me was told they would only credit half of the amount. They said they couldnt find our cancellation paperwork. So their employee lost our paperwork and we get charged because of their mistake.

This gym got even better when Eastern Iowa-based Top Shape Gym took over (previously was Aspen owned and still decent, just felt like it wasnt a priority for the previous owner). Still retained a lot of the employees and free fitness classes while adding a lot more weight machines to the mix. Plus they have already made some needed renovations. Great place to workout and a fairly laidback gym atmosphere. Like all gyms can get busy during peak hours and after January, but thats typical.

Ive enjoyed working out at Top Shape South CR. There is plenty of equipment to exercise each muscle group. Its clean, and there is a great crossfit area, not to mention a pool. The staff is great!

The Gym itself is great! The New Owners however seem to be in it for themself!! Its too bad , Northland Gym management cared about their members, this Top Gym does not.

Clean, good gym with a ton of choices for working out. My bestie and I started out upstairs, using their ellipticals, and then later switching over to their treadmills. I love ellipticals! This one was clean and smooth, easy to use and adjust to the type of workout I wanted. The treadmill also was easy and smooth! Then, we went downstairs and talked to some of the trainers for a bit. They were nice, funny people that were welcoming and sweet. They recommended a few machines we could use, based on what we mentioned we wanted to accomplish. We went and used the machines, wound up getting such a great workout!! Then, the best part was going and sitting in the hot tub! It was comfy, perfectly hot, and easy to turn the bubbles back on.

Great gym. Has good equipment including leg extension leg curl calf raise. Large space great variety of equipment from machines to free weights. Highly recommend for both beginners to competition level athletes.

This is more then a place to workout. The Trainers are top notch wanting the best for us. As well the morning crowd people are helpful to each other and encouraging to o e another. Lots of equipment and great classes. Trainers go out of their way and go the extra mile to help people be happy and healthy.

Great gym all around

Love this gym. They are constantly looking for improvements. ..the staff is extremely friendly and the instructors call you by name after only attending class a few times! Do yourself a favor. ...try this gym if working out is an important part of your overall well being

Good variety of equipment, clean locker rooms and excersize areas, a wet and dry sauna combo, a pool, and a hot tub. They offer group training and tanning, locker rentals, towel service, and physical rehabilitation services. A very well rounded gym with (usuallyfriendly faces to help.

Sauna, Pool, Hot Tube, Classes and great equipment. Everything you need is at this gym. The employees here are welcoming and friendly.

Very clean and great value. Ive been a member of gyms in Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis... None of them match this place. Their experts like Nate will help you reach the level of fitness you are dedicated to attain.

Love the equipment and classes here. Plenty of options for everyone and theyre open late which is perfect for me. Wish the front desk team was a bit friendlier. Sometimes theyre buried in their phone or too busy chatting with each other to greet the guests. Not a huge deal but I notice it.

Went in for a tour and the staff where very friendly.Not for a beginner on the weight floor but they have a very nice variety of equipment.Tanning isnt worth the upgrade though and on top of your membership you have to pay to use a locker. Odd

Went for two years, and it was a great gym. Only left because I moved.

Really nice size gym, staff are friendly, never had to wait for a cardio machine, and things are always clean. My only issue is that its not 24hours and the price compared to other local gyms.

They have nothing special there to be charging what they charge. When you go to cancel your membership. They like to charge you for 2 months after the fact. EVEN IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR CONTRACT. Then they have the most horrible customer service I have ever witnessed. I will never refer this place to anyone I know. What a waste of money for a year!!!

Ive been at this gym for 4 years and I love it! Staff are friendly, classes are great, lots of great equipment. The only thing I dont like is Fox News on all day. It stress me out...but I try to ignore it.

The staff is very rude, they seem to be bothered by you most of the time. I was also lied to about the cost of my membership, and once I found out how much it really was I was informed I could not get a refund of over $400 i had already paid
