Tourist Lodge in Sibsāgar

I stayed in the room no 1. Whicwas a VIP room. Large room with all amenities. AC , sofa wardrobe and everything. Excellent location.

Not a bad place for a budget traveller. Very near to the famous Shiva Doll.

It is at centre of the city. Rates are good. Canteen is good.

Good place to stay in Sivasagar. Its located at a prime location just next to the DCs residence facing the Sivasagar pukhri (Lake). And Siva Doul is also 200 mtrs walking distance. Very close to the market as well as peaceful.

The best place to stay in Sivasagar. Period. It is right at the capital spot of Sivasagar, on the Borphukhuri paar road. It is next to the Sivasagar pukhuri and the Shiva dol.The property is itself very clean and big, the rooms are very very spacious and comfortable. The campus is secured and spacious, no worries for parking.We only had breakfast there, which was delightful. But the guest have to walk over to the canteen right next to guest house. My stay was very homely there.

Very nice tourist lodge situated in the bank of Bor Pukhuri. A scenic view of Borpukhuri from the tourist lodge is mesmerizing.

Stayed 2 days, 25/26 December 2021. The location itself gives big advantage as Anand ram Baruah Park, Tai museum are on one side & Shiv Dol, Devi Dol etc are on another side. ASI office, CJM court, Deputy Commissioner residence & office etc are neighbors. Hence this place is secure & less crowded.₹700 for AC room, ₹600 for Non-AC room & ₹200 for dormitory is too economical. Canteen is available. Services are good. No online booking, thats a problem. Else there is nothing to complaint about.

Sivasagar Tourist Lodge is situated in Pukhuri Paar, opposite Borpukhuri near Shiva Doul. The Lodge gives u a majestic view of the Sivasagar tank. Situated in the heart of the town, You can get access to any nearby Archaeological sites and Historic monuments. Communication is good by rented E-rickshaws. There are rooms both Non AC (Rs650and AC (Rs770for twin people with attached bathrooms and closet. Rooms are Old fashioned Assam type but clean. There is a canteen attached which serves food at very reasonable prices. Outside food is also allowed.Bookings are done on call basis offline.Good for couples. The staff is good, they wont irritate you by unnecessary questions.A big Yes next time.

I am expedition cyclist from Slovakia(Central of Eueropetraveling around east-north India. I have been slept one night in this accomodation with the best experiences. Kindly and very helpfull stuff, nice garden, many flowers, great location (shiva temple very closed, lake on the oposite side, fruit market clese). I recomend this place special for travelers.

Very nice infrastructure & best location u can get But Service Is very Bad only 3workers one was on leave & could not even get extra bedsheets + the AC didnt work & other rooms so hot !! Only wish it had working AC in ever room

Situated at Borpukhuri par i.e. Sivasagar tank. A government guest house run by Assam tourism. Booking is done via old style via phone or putting a form. Till now no online booking.Rooms are good and building is of Assam type. Food is good too. Dont expect 5 star menu or services. Normal sarkari type not so professional.
