Travelove in Praha 11

I came across the Travelove website one day before our trip to Prague, and assumed it was too late to order the tour kit, but I was wrong! They delivered two Travelove Kits to our hotel in Prague the next day for my niece and nephew, and the kits were there waiting for us when we arrived to check in at our hotel! The guides and activity books were perfect for our family! The adult guidebook has tips on restaurants and coffee shops along the route, perfect for a quick bite, break, or lunch/dinner, and provides a written description of each of the sites and historic landmarks. The “Day 1” tour of the streets behind and around Prague Castle was fantastic, and took us down less touristy quaint streets like Novy svet. As a family ranging from 3 years old to 61 years old, the self-guided style of the tour was perfect for us. Lucie and Katka from Travelove even emailed us links to the tours with all of the points mapped out, which you could easily open in Google maps to route your path each day (you have to click the little icon in the upper right hand side of the screen to open the map in Google maps after clicking on the link they email you). At first I was a hesitant about purchasing the kit due to the price, but I’m so glad I did! I highly recommend the Travelove guides to any family traveling to a city where Travelove offfers a guidebook (Prague, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona as of this writing). Even if you’re not traveling with children, and don’t need the crayons, activity book, sissiors, etc.), it’s worth purchasing the kit for the adult guidebook, walking tour itineraries, and maps! Our family is already looking forward to our next adventure..

We purchased the kit for our recent trip to Rome and it was the best money we spent! Not only did the Parent Book help us plan our days and avoid a whole bunch of potential mishaps, the Activity Book kept our 4 year old interested and active in what we did and saw. He loved taking pictures by the places mentioned in the book, the cutting and glueing activities were a huge hit, and I’m pretty sure we blew bubbles every single time we went out! It was such a joy to see him learning throughout the day. A must have addition to your travel plans!

Das Travel City Family Kit von Prag hat unseren Kindern sehr viel Freude gemacht. Durch die guten Tips, sowohl bei gutem als auch bei schlechtem Wetter die Stadt zu erkunden, haben wir uns lästiges Suchen im Internet erspart. So machen Citytrips mit Kindern Spaß !Es wäre toll, wenn es für jede wichtige Stadt ein solches Travelkit für Kinder zu kaufen gäbe...

Great kid-focused walks in Prague, with an excellent activity pack. It was nice to see some of the quieter parts of town, and the kids were engaged enough to walk the whole 3 km.

A beautifully presented box of activities for children. My children were really excited to try it out. There were lots of interesting facts and fun games. If you do not know Prague it would really help plan your trip. My elder daughter (9would have enjoyed more facts but for my younger daughter (6it was perfect. We did not use the plastic bag provided, but all the other accessories were quality items.

Thank you for the Prague Family Kit. We got it for our May trip to Prague and enjoyed it a lot. It was nice to get off the beaten path thanks to the tours in the Kit, there were parts with a lot less tourists around. It also explained how to use metro and trams, kids really liked using the public transportation. Another highlight for the kids was the treasure hunt during the first self-guided tour that takes you around the Castle. Wed definitely recommend the Kit to families traveling to big cities.

Katka is simply the most amazing contact person you could ask for to discover Prague with your family. She is very kind and thoughtful and the kit itself is a treasure of information and hidden places! Our children (and usloved it, it was as if it had been tailored for our family! We have been completely wowed by the city and will definitely recommend Travelove to all our friends!

We fell upon the travelove website whilst looking for things to do in Prague and we are so glad we did! Ordering was easy, we ordered around 9pm and Katka delivered the packs to us the next day early in the morning so we could get started that day. The Prague castle walk was our favourite. We got to do all the attractions with the kids leading us through the city. Having the art supplies to hand was very good as well as it meant we werent having to go and buy things all the time making the most of our time in Prague. We never would have thought of bringing anything to write on the Lennon Wall!In addition to this, we were lucky that Katka arranged a treasure hunt for the children in a park in Karlin which was matched to the ages of our three children (7, 3 and 2and they all had a great time! It was lovely to hear a bit more about Travelove. This looks like so much fun! I lived in the Czech Republic for a year and in Prague for another 3 months and Ive been wanting to go back with my kids.Thank you so much for the e-book. I love the idea of having such an interactive tour, where wed get to see the sites but also have it kid motivated -- as that always defines how fast and how far theyre willing to go! And you included some stops that were new to me -- I know my kids would love to go through the underground tunnels that are part of the old water treatment -- it reminds me of scenes from movies and would be so cool and unique.I also appreciate for the coloring and activity pages -- those should buy us a little café time at least! And what a great idea to have all of the artsy/crafts stuff with the backpack and activity book and guidebook, we look forward to getting one once our tickets are booked!
