Great traditional Margaritas and good food we had the stuffed jalapenos, and they were to die for..gets booked out so that says something

The burrito was fantastic! Tried a Tommy’s and passion fruit margarita, both great! I just wish I could order something off the menu with whatever meat I wanted and not already selected as I don’t eat certain meats and I had fewer choices because of that.

Every dish was well done, perfect salsas with house corn chips, tacos and delicious lime corn

came here for a family dinner on tuesday night and everything was so yum! only a few vegetarian options but the tacos were super delicious. good portion sizes, quick service and such lovely staff who were enthusiastic with food and drink recommendations. delicious margaritas and all round lovely experience!

We have previously dined at Tres Salsas (in October 2021and loved the service of the attentive waitress assigned to our table, the quick delivery of meals and the delicious food so much that we returned last night (25th September 2022to repeat the experience. Unfortunately our second dining experience at Tres Salsas was anything but enjoyable. We understand that the kitchen was under the pump (I’m guessing due to being understaffed), but there were quite a few things that stood out to us in comparison to our previous experience:- food taking 40+ minutes to get to our table, without any indication from the waitstaff serving us that it would take this long (my 1 year old son was with us so it would have been nice to be notified so we could have the choice of cancelling our order and leaving earlier)- having to repeatedly request for water to be brought to our table; at one point we even had to go up to the bar to ask even though there were waitstaff moving around the dining area- our food being of such disappointing quality. Everyone in our table who ordered the nachos couldn’t taste anything apart from the pineapple habanero sauce which had been slathered all over the tortilla chips and completely overpowered the dish

Very stylish little diner, drinks were great, but the seasoning on food is REALLY off.Seafood skewer: good presentation, nice cook on scallop and prawn. HOWEVER the seasoning is horrible: It was really salty, I couldnt taste the sweetness of seafood at all. In fact, I had to have a whole glass of water to rinse it down. What a shame. Love the idea of adding pineapple to salsa but it tasted old, salad tasted like its been sitting there for a while too.Fried jalapeno: love the idea, nice crispy and light batter, but again its quite salty. I personally dont think much salt is needed for this dish as jalapeno itself is salty. I suppose it would be a nice snack to go with some beer though.

I was very satisfied. We were able to eat even without reservation (Sun evening, school holidays). Staff friendly. Reasonable prices and great taste. I had tacos - carne asado (beefand it was absolutely amazing!!! I really liked the combination of fresh and tangy ingredients. Parking directly in front of the restaurant. The only negative - dirty seat but regardless totally recommended. (Visited Sep 22)

Excellent food. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced. Very flavourful. Will be coming back.

We had a table of 12 on a busy night, staff were really friendly and hard working. Food was delicious, came back again a few days later.

Ordered some vegan Nachos, presentation was absolutely awful, never seen such poorly put together Nachos, looked like they were shaken then given to me. Taste was disgusting, I don’t mind spice but the chilli was the hottest I’ve ever tasted, could not eat. Also ordered fish tacos which were good in both presentation and taste. If you can’t cook Nachos take them off your menu. Very disappointed.

Sadly the experience of today (Father’s Daywas rather lacking. The staff didn’t talk even when placing an order or when they collected the plates. the food looked great but it was missing that Mexican zing!

I absolutely ADORE this place!! Never once have we had a moderate meal there, everything is so delicious! Staff are incredibly friendly and warm, and we always thank them every time we go there. Their meat is always really tender and saucy and delicious (HIGHLY recommend the beef tacos!and you’re always well stuffed afterwords.

We booked for a birthday party 2 weeks in advance and confirmed on the day. When we arrived they told us that the table was not available for another 15minutes despite our booking. Meanwhile our disabled 86 year old was told to just stand on the foot path. After 15 minutes the table was still not available. I asked to speak to the manager and was rudely told she is not available and if you don’t like it you can always go somewhere else. So much for looking after loyal locals, destroying a long held awaited birthday reunion. Don’t go here if you expect service and quality staff. Do go here if you want rude staff and disappointment.

Table was reserved by phone. After ordering the entrees and drinks we were informed they had another reservation for our table and we had to move to an outdoor table (cold and noisy). Unprofessional waitress with a patronising attitude. We left.

When I order a meal that the menu description includes sour cream, and the waiter asks if I want sour cream, I assume theyre asking because theres a dairy free option. I dont expect to be charged an extra $2.50 for a tablespoon of (tastelesssour cream to be put on the side. Your food is only just worth what youre charging as it is.Dont do that. Its underhanded and dodgy.

Delightful menu with well prepared, delicious meals. Friendly staff and I can highly recommend the mojitos!

The complete package. We thought we would check it out not being certain if we would find something to our liking. The staff were helpful and friendly, there was plenty of choice on the menu and food was delicious. Highly recommended

An absolutely beautiful little place on the beach road, fantastic design combined with music give it a wonderful atmosphere. Our server Sandi was amazing, from the moment we got there. She made us feel welcome and relaxed, as a bonus also made the best margaritas we have ever had. The food was fast, fresh and fantastic. My girlfriend and I loved every part of all four of our dishes. This place is a must visit when in Hervey Bay.

Super friendly waiters, great environment and most importantly, amazing food! Our waiter called Sandy was an amazing, kind and friendly. I usually get burritos from zamberos but this place tops it buy 100%.100% recommend :)

Very well done! The chicken and beef was a bit dry in our tacos and burrito, but only noticeable when eaten separately. The corn beard was really great. The drinks even better. Loved they shake the margaritas to chill and not add it to a glass of ice! Lovely staff. Quick service.

Drinks, Entree, mains and dessert for 2 under $100, really enjoyable night, atmosphere was lively, service was impeccable, staff fit us in even when we didt have a booking. 10 out of 10

Drinks were awesome food was great.Prices were affordable.I had a chimichangas were to die for and my partner enjoyed a mushroom quesadilla.Highly recommend.

Amazing food and service! The seafood skewers were my favourite but all the food was great. Drinks were just as good too, definitely check out Margarita Mondays only $10 each! Great location, beautiful decor inside, will definitely come back when we revisit Hervey Bay

Absolutely exceptional food and service. Great menu options. Staff were so friendly! I have an avocado allergy, I know, its very unfortunate! But they made sure there was none on the plate and kept it separate so my partner could enjoy it. (He can eat it, I cant). It completely wasnt a problem for them. Cant wait to come back and eat there again. Nice and close to the beach and good parking out front. Toilets out back.

I have eaten here twice now, unfortunately the good food cant make up for the poor service. Servers seem to be more interested in talking amongst themselves while pretending to polish cutlery than attending customers. Table water was asked for and never delivered, we where not offered a second round of drinks even with empty glasses on the table. Half our plates where cleared but the other half left to sit until we went to pay the bill. The first time I ate here it was incredibly busy so didnt leave a review as the service was the same but where cleary understaffed however after comijg again at a quiet time and still having the same issues I will not be back. Sad as the food is very tasty.

Great food, wonderful friendly staff and reasonable prices. Go on, use your fingers it was more tasty that way. Portions could have been a bit larger but they might be expecting you to have dessert.

The service was very good. The food was painfully slow., considering patrons were leaving. The nachos were stale & inedible. The chicken 🌮 tacos were ok, did not taste like Mole. Sour cream costs $2.50 for a container that held about 1 tablespoon. Extremely disappointed.😞 One of the worst meals I have had in recent times.Epic fail.

Amazing experience. Loved it from start to finish. Great vegetarian / Vegan options. Though paying money to take meat off and put veggies in was a bit odd but happy that were at least getting the option to do so. Service was professional and polite. Cocktails were lovely. We tried the chimichangas, enchiladas, jalapeno poppers chips etc. So good. The sauces at the table were amazing to add / alter taste to you dish. Definitely wouldve visited again if driving from Brisbane isnt such a pain. Thank you!

I come fairly often. I love Mexican food and the food here is good! Why 3 stars? The service. I was called love several times during my last visit. Its demeaning and rude and was said in a very condescending way. Its not cheap so as a paying customer I feel I would like to addressed respectfully. Wait staff need better training.

Amazing food and service! Loved it so much. Had an amazing waitress Jade but all of them were fabulous. We are vegetarians and the food was so good! Great wine list and the margaritas were awesome. A standout was the sliced jalapeno entree - so moreish and I dont even like jalapenos. Recommend highly.

Great Mexican food and loved the $10 Monday Margaritas special. This place is dog friendly outside.

Always brilliant. Ive been coming here since it opened and the standard has never changed. Fabulous food and great service and just terrific staff. Chef just so gorgeous. Hurry back Jem we miss you.

Loved this place. The staff were lovely and knowledgeable. The cocktails were on point. The food was fresh and full of flavour. Servings were quite generous.

Best little Mexican restaurant. Dishes are delicious and filling with wonderful choices. I try something new every time. It gets very busy and thier hours are a touch unusual so look them up or call and make a booking.

Great place for gluten free food. Ask for the gluten free menu! Food was great and loads of variety. They make a lot of their own tortillas and sauces and everything is very fresh. The corn tortilla was so light, fresh and crisp. Also be sure to ask for all the hot sauce varieties!

Definitely 5 star all the way. The most beautiful food Ive ever eaten. Cant 2ait to check out the full menu. Fully Licensed. People like Jade give the world a reason to keep spinning and make people want to come back to this place again.

Tacos are great, see picture below for fish tacos. but dont get the ceviche. Its one little scallop sliced in half for $15.

The service wasnt great and the Ceviche a big disappointment. It had 3 prawns that appeared to be split down the middle, and 2 scallops, sitting on a big salad that had no flavour aside from sour. However, the seafood enchiladas were fantastic with sour cream (which we had to ask for).

Good meal. Staff said there would be a wait on food (which there wasbut we were happy to sit chat, have a beerWhen the food arrived... simple and tasty, nothing trying to out do another flavour. Just nice food. I had the shredded chicken quesadilla.

Fantastic, fresh and delicious modern Mexican. The service was fantastic and the food came out hot and very quickly. The restaurant itself has an indoor areas and outdoor seating, including heat lamps - there’s also a beautiful mural of Frida Khalo. The bar has 27 different tequilas and a full page of cocktails (the jalapeno margarita and passionfruit margarita are particularly delicious). Tacos a plenty! They were all absolutely delicious, although a little bit oily. The chimichanga was fantastic too, but by far the most delicious dish was the ceviche salad - absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this restaurant as the freshest Mexican food I’ve had along the East coast of Queensland. 10/10!

I recently held a corporate event at Tres Salsas and it far exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere of the restaurant, the foods and the drinks where amazing! Jemima was extremely helpful in the organisation of the menu and the seating arrangement. Staff where awesome and the day went spectacular. I highly recommend this place and will be returning for sure!

My wife and I had an amazing vegan meal. We had the Vegan poppers, vegan tacos and a veganised quesadilla everything was delicious and full of flavour. Everything was so fresh perfect for a warm night. The staff were super lovely and more than happy to answer any questions we had do yourself a favour and check them out!

A reason to come back for a holiday,Having traveled to Mexico in 2015 I can tell you that this is a close as it gets to the real deal, food wise.Excellent service, generous servingsQuality ingredients. Excellent meals, has liquor license with popular beverages with a range of Mexican beer, cocktails and , even has Mexican soft drinks. Authentic Mexican food, best in HB

A laid back atmosphere compliments the authentic Mexican food on offer here.The highlight of the experience was the table service, where the person waiting on our table was genuinely entertaining and interacted with us with candid hilarity.The open space is relaxing, and the art work, lights and furniture blend in well with each other, so nothing seems out of place.They offer take-away!This venue is also licensed, naturally.Id highly recommend giving Tres Salsas a try.

We just went for dinner and we loved it so much!!! Honestly the best Mexican in town 😍😍😍 We had the Cucumber,Jalapenos cocktails... followed by the chorizo potatos and jalapeno poppers... OMG sooooo good.... followed by two of the same cocktails 😊 and 6 amazing Tacos wit beef,chicken and pork. Service is on point and atmosphere is relaxed... cant wait to go back!!! Thank you so much.... we loved it

Brilliant Mexican restaurant with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The food was amazing and from what I can tell the owner (a young ladyfeel in love with Mexican food and culture and brought it to Hervey Bay. I was extremely impressed by the quality and the quantity. Price is cheap but quality is outstanding. Thanks to the team for making my solo experience enjoyable. Also it was full by 6pm on a Wednesday so probably book. BYO alcohol.
