Trevino's Barber Shop and Shaving Parlor in Stanislaus County

I walked in 20 minutes before closing and I was welcomed instead of being turned away. I sat around for a few minutes waiting for my turn and enjoyed the decor which adds a lot of character to this Barber Shop. After a few minutes I was greeted by Tony and he did an amazing job and got me setup for the start of my vacation which was next day. I highly recommend this place for haircuts and beard trim/fades.

First time I went to Trevino’s Barbershop it was one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten from Leslie. She took her time and made sure it was perfect. It turned out so well. The second time around was the complete opposite. I was so disappointed with my haircut from Jacob. It seemed like he didn’t care to be there, didn’t have the basics skills of fading, and only spent minimal time on my hair which was evident in the final result. It sucks cause both costed $40. One was well worth it, the other was not.

Great staff that will have you looking like a million bucks after your cut.

Coolest barber shop Ive seen in a long time. Parking isnt the best but, its downtown so thats to be expected.

I had an appointment for tomorrow that I made a few days ago and I just got a text saying they’ve cancelled my appointment. Apparently they don’t keep appointments guess I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

First beard trim. Nice, clean place. My barber was exceptional, she did a great job.

Awesome looking shop. Very relaxing and an amazing hair cut, beard trim and hot towel shave. Easy to miss shop on 10th but good barbers. Will visit again.

Needed a last minute shave so I just walked in. Theyre usually booked til christmas so I was pleased they would take on the spot. Leslie took good care and encouraged me to take advantage of the full service; hot towel and what have you. Im glad I did. It was a pleasure and gave me a confidence boost for the function I was to attend.

Clean environment, barbers respect the pandemic by wearing masks. Quality hair cuts and beard trimming. Left looking and feeling refreshed. Good atmosphere you can tell they take pride in their work at Trevinos. Highly recommended

Made an appointment on website was very easy to navigate. Barber was very attentive and did a very good job with the cut and also with discussion while cutting. Overall was an awesome experience I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back again.

I have had the pleasure of having Kevin cut my sons hair a couple times, and he has done an amazing job , very thorough, and makes sure its blended perfectly and he takes his time. My son loves how his hair looks after he styles it and puts pomade in it , also my sons hair is very thick and wavy so it’s hard to cut, and there have been no mistakes when Kevin has cut his hair, he will be getting his hair cut by him regularly ! I highly recommend Trevinos, everyone there is so talented and extremely friendly !

These other reviews have to be family. I have been rebooked twice the lady on the phone has no customer service skill. They took so long to see my son and husband at the end just my son was the only one how got a hair cut, because the owner left wouldn’t take no one else the other man wasn’t aware of the appointment for both my son and husband and had to take who was next on his list. After that I don’t know why we stayed my sons hair cut was rushed and his line up was messed up. The other shop fixed him up for free thank you THE VIBE FAKE REVIEWS Should not be allowed the only positive thing it has going for it is that it looks cool that’s it

Ok I was looking for a new place to get a haircut and decided to try this place. I showed up right at my appointment time and walked in nobody says a word to me and the lady I had an appointment with proceeds to take another guy waiting when I had an appointment. What happened to customer service? in search of another barbershop. Wont be back!

Great staff of barbers. They know what theyre doing. Walk ins are always welcome, however, you should setup an appointment online to avoid waiting for an opening.

They don’t take walk ins. Like the website says they do, the sign out front says they do, but they don’t. If there is no possible way that anyone could take a walk-in for hours, someone should say, hey man, don’t wait, it’s not gonna happen. 2 chairs were empty with no one working, maybe add someone to work walkins? I will say, nice place, nice selection of products. I hate it, I had been looking forward to it for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately my work (medicalschedule doesn’t really allow me to keep appointments.

Have been going to Trevino’s when the shop was just a single chair with lots of potential!Proud to have seen and been in the chair of someone as talented, genuine, and hardworking as Tony Trevino. The results of his skills are undoubtedly the greatest and I’m grateful to call the man a brother of mine. You won’t be disappointed giving up an 1/2-1 Hr of your day in this shop. The vibe is always great, the other barbers just as skilled, and most importantly, it’s our own small business that should be supported.I’ve been in barbershops all across Northern California, and we truly have a gem for all that’s offered here in the valley!

I booked a few weeks out for Fathers day. Was a great time chatting and seeing wall and skateboard art. I Live in Sacramento. But will be traveling here for a long time.Downtown Modesto has alot of cool places to go to while your waiting to go get cleaned up at Travinos barber shop. Go you wont regret the full barber shop old school way!And music while you fall asleep with the hot towel!!

This rating is for the haircut I got 1 year ago. I drove 70 miles back to return a year later to get a great haircut again, arrived Friday morning 30 min before they opened, sat outside the door and waited for the barbers to arrive. When they arrived I was informed by the barber who cut my hair last time they were booked with appointments and could not fit me in. I was very disappointed because I drove so far and was given the money by my brother as a gift idea because I told him so many times how great the haircut was last time, as the barbers where I live dont cut hair as good as Trevinos. I found out the hard way, dont expect service without an appointment.

Tony and his barbers offer A+ customer service every time. Been going there for 4 years and its always perfection. Fun conversations and he has Dustbowl beers on tap! Cant beat that. Check them out!

Pretty cool spot. But the point of booking an appointment is to keep the customer accountable for showing up. I’ve had my schedule changed twice on me when I needed it the most. Bunnie did a great job before, but it seems like most shops around the area only care about you if you already know them.

Got my first beard trim today. The owner got me in on an appointment in an hour. Hooked it up proper. Definitely will be back. “Walked in lookin like Chewbacca, walkin out lookin like The Wolf Man” he says to me. 😂😂👌🏼🤙

I was pleased with my first visit to Trevinos. I was taken in right on time for my appointment and left on time too. I went in for a beard trim. Austin did a good job and cleaned things up nicely. I like that you can schedule a visit online. Two thumbs up.

At the level of precision and technique of a hair cut and a beard trim, we should be paying waaay more than what they charge! I just had my first haircut and beard trim at their Wylie location and was thoroughly impressed! Its no salon, its an old feel barber shop that makes a man feel like a man. Highly recommend!

The barbers are real kind and know what they are doing. The atmosphere is real nice to look around. My reason for not giving them a 5 star is because when I schedule my appointment for 1pm online I got there 15 minutes early and they didnt end up seeing me till 2pm ! It was absurd. They dont follow their schedule appointments so what are the point to them. So if you plan going there make sure you dont have nothing else going on cause you end waiting there longer than expected. They engaged with there costumers which is good but it just takes longer times to finish the job. I bet if I were late they would have cancelled the appointment on me.

It was my first time coming to a barber, I have been going to the same salon all my life but I thought it was time for a change. I liked how Ryan walked me every step or the way to see if I like how it was turning out and telling me what options I had for the hair cut I wanted. I loved the environment. I plan to go back when I need to get it cut again. The only problem is I dont know what was a "warm lather" because I dont think I got that. Other than that I really enjoyed my visit and Ill book again with Ryan.

I had a haircut by Jessica today and I have to say it was the best haircut that Ive ever had. She is definitely an artist and it shows not to mention the conversation was great. This place has a great atmosphere and good vibes. I look forward to going back. Thanks Jessica Brandon

First off I would like to thank Jesse. He did a fade cut and it turned out fantastic. So few issues but dont let that affect your decision. I checked reviews to see if this barber shop allowed women and I found a female review, so I scheduled an appt online for Jessica. A week later I get text and email cancelling my appt. I was thrown but decided to call. I was told it was a new appt service mishap. I show up for my appt 5 mins early and was greeted as I walked in. I told the guy I had an appt with Jessica. I was taken right away but not by Jessica instead by Jesse. It seems maybe my original appt was actually cancelled. But I was very welcomed by Jesse and though I was intimidated as this was my first barber shop visit I found the place was great and Jesse was very friendly. There was music and the shop was clean. I hoped to visit again in the future.

Thomas always looks forward to his haircuts with Tony and Lauren, Tonys wife always takes the time to fit Thomas in with his busy schedule.

Really a breath of fresh air with so many Barber Shops going up.And I have been to many "Barbers" in Modesto and Ceres.First, you want too make an online Appointment, otherwise they do take walk- ins but you could be waiting a while.Its good old fashioned service with a smile.My big thing about Trevinos, is that they keep the place clean and organized at every Barber station, and the whole shop.I see Tanya, but really all of them are great.Nice establishment.They take cash or card, using Square.

Best barber in the central valley. If youre looking for a REAL barber shop for a REAL haircut, this is the spot. Big shiny pompadours, clean crew cuts, shiny trimmed beards, they do it all, with class!

Ryan rocks. Seriously, damn good hair cut every time I have been in there and made me look good for an engagement shoot. I live in Reno and come down specifically to get my hair cut. So that should tell you how much I like their service. So go in and see these guys and they are all fantastic.

Alright Ive gone to 4 barbershops for my monthly haircut & by far this place is the second but they are really great. The inside looks old school/vintage... The barbers dress like professionals, they looked dedicated & know how to keep a good conversation. My haircut came out looking like The last James Bond. This place wont disappoint.

I love going here because I have a very complicated beard, and Tony handles it extremely well. He does such a great job with the clippers and straight razor and I enjoy the atmosphere. If youve never had a straight razor shave I suggest you see Tony ASAP!

Tony Trevino definitely knows what youre looking for! I have been coming to him for a little over a year, and I have never looked back. I frequently change my hair style, and he knows exactly what Im looking for even with the vague descriptions I give him. Hes a very humble guy that treats everyone with respect. I definitely would recommend him to any of my friends and family.
