Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Mecosta County

I’ve been going here since it opened. The food is great, but in general, employees seem miserable and take it out on you. I’d also appreciate it if you guys could put the flatbread box flat when you place it in the bag. .-.

There was a piece of paper in my sandwich. Like a whole piece of paper. Unappealing,unappetizing.

Thought Id look for a quick bite, something that sounds good.....Random stop here and I had the Red Sangria Smoothie, a 3 cheese chicken queso with a Kale & Apple Slaw for under $13....... Amazing food, generous staff, and a cute chic dine in area, def with visiting if ever here, I will be coming back for sure!!!!

My smoothie was made quickly and as requested and was very tasty. Will be in again.

I always thought that tropical smoothie cafes were expensive (Ive never been to one until a few days agothe food was ok, its missing a spicy option for foods but the SMOOTHIES 🤤🤤 I sucked mine down in 20 minutes lol we will definitely be going back on occasion!

I ordered a smoothie that wasnt on the menu and the barista was happy to make it for me. Then, after it was made, I realized I could add plant-based protein, and asked him to do so for me. I had already explained that it was my first time in the restaurant, and the barista made me a second smoothie with the protein, and asked me to taste the one with protein, mentioning that if I didnt like it, I could have the first one with no protein added, at no extra charge.This particular employee went well out of his way to make my first Tropical Smoothie Cafe experience an excellent one!

Big Rapids tropical smoothie is absolutely AWFUL at putting meat in things that didn’t ask for meat in it. I’ve ordered a simple cheese quesadilla 3 times now and EVERY TIME IT HAS MEAT. I’ve wasted my time and money too many times. I’ve also ordered a simple grilled cheese online and it came with bacon, and got attitude from the worker because I returned it for a new one and pointed out that the online service says nothing about bacon being on it. So FOUR TIMES I’ve wasted my time at your store. Thanks.

They were so busy when i walked in, I was patient for about 5 minutes and they practically had the place cleared out. I was very impressed. Great work, great service, speedy, and delightful!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe was pretty tasty and sweet. Ive only been there once but have had their smoothies twice. Would recommend someone to try it out. I heard of T.S. from a family member

Love their smoothies. The bahama mama and mocha madness smoothies are definitely worth the trip. TSC is a bit pricier but you get your moneys worth.

I came to tropical smoothie at opening time and it seems like the worker is either late or isn’t showing up. I love the smoothies but the staff can’t show up on time so I’m giving this a 1 star.

There hours are a joke. Its 9am to 6pm. Cant go there before work, because there not open.

Its tropical smoothie, you shouldnt have to read a review, its always great. The smoothies are amazing and food is too, all for really good prices.Thats not the reason for my review though. Today is November 30th, 2020 and who ever was the guy and lady working went above and beyond for me. I ordered online at 5:45 pm and didnt realize that this location was temporarily closing early at 6:00 pm. I showed up at 6:05 and called and asked if they had my flatbread and smoothie, they said some one already took it. And even though the employees already closed up they stayed to make my meal.Super impressed with those two for going above and beyond, I wish I caught their names to thank them extra.Its also bad on my part for not checking temporary hours and ordering so close to closing time.

I ordered no sweetener in my smoothie and after I watched the employee put splenda in the blender and then tasted it to be sure, they tried to tell me I was wrong. This is now the second time I’ve ordered the same smoothie the same way and it comes out tasting like cold sweetened water.

When I was there Saturday June 20th 4 girls were working that afternoon. I was clearly disappointed by the lack of disregard to not wanting to wear their face masks correctly. They either had them around their neck or hanging off their ear. They obviously didn’t care about wearing them correctly to protect themselves or others. They made me feel a little uneasy about wanting to have them make me & my daughter flatbread sandwiches. I luckily I was wearing mine but they weren’t as my sandwich’s were being made. First time so far for me to see this since every business is supposed to have their employees wear them correctly. If this happens again I’m definitely not coming back here again even if I like the food.

Great for smoothies, surprisingly great for food too considering the emphasis on smoothies. All around wonderful experience; I regularly order and Im never dissapointed.

Go through staff so much, each time things are made different , not as great as it use to be , they never label things in your bag so 5 wraps and you have to guess whos, whos.

Staff is always friendly even first thing in the morning! Store is always clean. Food is consistently good! Just be careful of the added sugar in 90% of their smoothies. Ask for no sugar if youre watching sugar intake.

This location itself is 5 star, but the smootbie menu at the chain/franchise is mostly unhealthy. If you are really careful, you can pick a smoothie with greens, add some protein, and ask for no added sugar, youll be alright. Makes for a great healthier-option breakfast esp if on the road travelling. I will be back to order the Avocolada again soon!

Fast service, I had the omelet wrap, tasted great, they brought the drinks and food to our table. Nice place to go for smoothies and a quick bite to eat
