Tutor Time of Sewell in Gloucester County

Only issue I have with the staff is the constant kissing of children that aren’t their own . Especially in the infant room . It’s very weird and with Covid still being a very real issue I don’t understand why managerment doesn’t have it a rule to not kiss the babies

My son started out in Toddler 1 class and we initially had a great experience. Once he was moved to Toddler 2’s the issues began. He came home with the same diaper he went to daycare with ( over an 8 hour day!Just a week ago he was scratched and bit to the point of the the other child breaking my sons skin! Today he came home with another deep scratch on his face made by the same child who reportedly has a behavioral one on one yet the issues continue to arise. This center is greatly understaffed and slow to respond to parent’s concerns. I’m currently seeking to remove my son from this center asap for his safety and well-being.

I absolutely adore this daycare and learning center. From the directors to the teachers, it really feels like a family to me. My children enjoy attending and are learning so much. It’s hard to find places that truly care for your kids and Tutor Time staff absolutely do!

We switched our daycare facility at the start of the pandemic as only a few opened to essential workers. The teachers and staff have been absolutely wonderful and made the transition for our two children seamless. My children are excited to go to school in the mornings and love their teachers. Meals are provided (healthy and well balancedas well as diapers which is something we werent used to at our previous facility and it has made our lives so much easier. We receive constant feedback through out the day via pictures, notes, messages and the staff is very responsive to communication via the brightwheel app. My girls have learned so much since starting here in April. The directors are very involved and truly show an interest in the children and parents. Absolutely recommend this daycare!

The staff at WT Tutor Time is always helpful, compassionate, and thoughtful. They care for my daughter as if she were family and I do not have to worry while I am at work. My daughter learns new things every day and enjoys spending time with her teachers and classmates. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

I love this daycare! The staff is awesome and the teachers are very professional! My children are always doing age appropriate activities and learning so much. They are very attentive to all of the children’s needs. I am so happy that I choose Tutor Time of Sewell. They also have security cameras and controlled access, which is very important to me. Both my infant and toddler are loved by the staff and I really appreciate that.

Managment is very money hungry.. everyother day they lose my sons cup,sheet,clothing, and ect.Last week my child caught hand, foot and mouth disease. When i questioned sam about why this happened ,she said in the most passive aggressive way that my child was to blame....even though she told me a day prior that my child was the 3rd case to be reported. I cant speak for all managerial staff, but sam is definitely a peice of work. Sam (who is the leadcontinuously hounds me for payments, even if im only a day or two late.( i get paid on friday and so im hard pressed to make the dealine each timeYou would think she would give more leeway seeing as my son was not able to go to daycare for 3 days because of there improperly cleaned facility,but that isnt the case at all. I even asked her if we would be reimbursed for my sons lost items, she reponed with a open ended answer and no solution .just recently she emailed me saying i couldnt bring my son to daycare unless i paid 2 weeks in advance..so with that being said i wouldnt recommend this place unless your ok with with your childs possessions being lost, constantly being honded for payments, and your child possibly being exposed to infectious diseases.. i can not stress enough that Sam is a passive aggressive person , who gives backhanded apologizes, and only cares about the money being profited off your childs enrollment

My daughter loves it here!!! The teachers are always so nice, and greet me and my baby with welcoming smiles. When I walk in I see other teachers she doesn’t have yet and they always talk to me. I feel as though I leave her with family when I drop her off. Thank you all for an amazing experience!

My son attended this place of about 6 months, and within the 6 months he was there he went through 5 teachers in one class. The staff change was very unprofessional in my book. Overall the school is nice as far as what they have to offer but that new director and assistant director are very unprofessional. They are very snappy and just not the nicest towards my son. If you have a active 2 year old this isn’t the place for them. The school isn’t diverse at all their are very few people of color (African American, Hispanic & etc). The way the children get treated showed within the last week my son attended. Since Jess left the place hasn’t been as welcoming. They don’t tell you everything they let things slide until it becomes too much for them to deal with instead of fixing the problem head on.

My child has been at Tutor Time since 3 months old (now 3.5 years). Staff and management here are wonderful. They are like family to us! Parents are well informed on everything- from daily operations, curriculum, staff training, to most importantly...your own childs progress. Lines of communication are ALWAYS open and clear from everyone- management to teachers & assistants. They are all there for your child and their development. Facility is immaculate, stimulating, state-of-the-art, and welcoming. Im proud of the milestones my son has achieved thanks to their stimulating curriculum. Our family loves Tutor Time- Wash Twp!!

I thought I was on a Tutor Time commercial when I received a phone call from Jessica Slaven, the Director, regarding my infant daughter, "almost falling asleep, her eyes are getting heavy as I rock her..." I was laughing because I thought it was a joke. It was my childrens first day, I had a rough morning & of course, when you get a call from school, your heart skips a beat & you think, what now?...but no..my experience has been surreal! Jessica genuinely cares for the children, not about getting the attendance up so she can get a nice bonus! Ive been at a couple places before & none can compare to this school! My prayers were answered & I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a caring, loving, nurturing, educational & dream come true school! Miss Desirae, the Infant teacher, actually teaches a curriculum to my 1 year old! They dont just change diapers, feed her & do an acitivity once a month. I love getting pictures of dress up & the activities they do. Miss Joyce is the Pre-K teacher, she is also a gem! Caring, understanding & takes the time to answer all my inquiries about my son-- if he actually ate, show & tell, etc. I love that they stick to their food menu! They dont switch things around because they ran out. What the food menu says, is what they get for the day so when I ask how lunch was, there is no confusion with my son in the car on our drive home : My son doesnt want to come home, he has so much fun with his friends & they all say "BYE CHRISTIAN" when he leaves the class; it feels like family. One of a kind, consistent, compassionate, organized, well-trained & most of all... relentlessly in pursuit of making YOU happy.... a HUGE heartfelt thank you to the teachers & staff of Tutor Time @ Washington Twp! Our daughter Juliet has been attending this Tutor Time for the past 2 and ½ years ever since she was 2 months old. The school provides a genuinely warm environment. The place is always clean and in order no matter what time of day you drop by. There is always a friendly face greeting us with a hello at every drop-off and pickup. The staff is flexible, well-trained, patient and kind.The staff communicates well with family members as we have always received a phone call as well as a boo-boo gram if an incident or accident had occurred. They are great at updating and notifying parents regarding changes, projects, activities and or health issues plaguing the children. They have a daily circle / song time, crafts projects, various skills building toys/activities, and sufficient and regular outdoor play in a well kept area in the back. They do a wonderful job teaching infants and toddler’s social skills and how to be independent and we love seeing the pictures of all the activities that they do every week. Most importantly, the staff members really care about the kids. We are extremely happy with our choice and do highly recommend this school! Thank you to the teachers and workers there for being so awesome!!
