I came here with my little sister tonight to swatch some makeup and smell some new fragrances and I was treated horribly and left feeling awful. I was as quiet as can be and I could not have been more respectful to all of the employees there yet, we were not greeted when we came in even though everyone else was. Immediately as we walked in I felt the energy change and it wasn’t a lighthearted laid back vibe it was now a high alert and all eyes on me feeling as if i was a threat to the store. I was followed by 3 different women at every corner I went to and they would stand next to us everywhere we went and would stare at us. I would get an attitude every time I asked questions and they would pass in front of me as I looked at products without saying excuse me. Just because 2 brown Hispanic women came in the store it doesn’t mean we are threats or thieves. Racially profiling is not ok and I will be calling corporate. If you want customers to come to your store and spend money, I suggest you treat them right and make sure they have a good experience first. Also it wouldn’t hurt to hire more black and brown girls that can help in Spanish for those who need it.

I would highly recommend going to Christina at the salon! She recently did my hair aside from it coming out amazing, she was a delight! Nina is also great, as she helped style it as well! Highly recommend these wonderful ladies!

I have been coming to this store since theyveopened. Employees have always been kind, helpful, &friendly. The last couple trips Ive made here withfriends, weve all left the store agreeing that thewomen at checkout have been catty, condescending,& rude. Im assuming management has camedown on them about their credit card sign ups but theway these women go about asking you to sign up hasbeen ridiculous. No = no. No need for the bad attitudeand the pushiness after the first no. In addition tothat, while I was in checkout the other day, I overhearda cashier named Jillian, speaking to a young girlabout getting the credit card. The girl looked about 16at most. She was with her other young friend. Jillianwas pushing this girl to apply for a credit card. Shewould ask in a high pitch, "sweet" voice, "are yousure? You could get much off your purchasetoday!" Going on and on, as the young girl stood therereplying with "uhhh I dont know.." in a very nervoustone, not sure what to do. Almost too scared to sayno. I was going to say something to the young girls,but luckily she said no. Is this what Ulta teachers theiremployees? To take advantage of young girls with noparental supervision? I was disgusted. If a customervery clearly looks under the age of 20, they should nothave to ask them to go into credit card debt. I was inanother store that offers store credit cards and thewoman told me, a woman in my mid 20s, that shewasnt going to ask me about getting a store creditcard because I looked too young and doesnt want megoing into credit card debt. Of course this sweet woman didnt know I was old enough and alreadyhave credit cards, but it was a wonderful, ETHICAL,thing to think. Hopefully Jillian and the Ulta team willrethink their moral standing. Even if you think "well ifshes 16 she wouldnt be eligible for a credit cardanyway," its the principle of it. Do better Ulta. I workedretail for many years, I know it isnt easy, but youremployees at this store need an attitude fix. "Its notwhat you say, its how you say it.

My fiancé and I went in to get a birthday present for a friend- each paying separately. The cashiers would not stop HOUNDING us for a number for an account stating it was in case anything needed a return. I stated nothing would be returned, we don’t even shop here but she kept on “does your grandmother have an account, does your sister have an account, does your aunt have an account”. Stop wasting my time, take no for an answer and let my pay. Next time I’ll order any make up products online through the manufacturer because that was ridiculous.

Went in to buy something for mom was in a hurry and approached cashier and she wanted my phone number to look up my account I made it clear to her that Im in hurry and not interested in signing up either so she tells me that I cant make a purchase if I dont sign up I was upset and a manager approached us and I told her what was happening and I expected manager to make things right and instead she was also trying to FORCE me to sign up. Smh are u kidding me. They both said in order to return a item I would need to have a account Wrong because if I have a receipt it shouldnt be a problem. Bottom line ulta staff should never force or mislead their customers to sign up for nothing if the customer doesnt want to. Point blank. I am Very disappointed on how they treated me today and I will never go to this store again

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of the store while I was here however okay good great review. I wanted to get a couple last minute things for my daughter did all my shopping online which was very simple and an easy process. The website was super smooth and very detailed to figure out what I want it. Once I place my order I got an email and text message immediately telling me about my order being placed, not long after that I got another one following up saying my order was ready for pick up. I went into the altar that Hamilton crossings off of Route 222 in the process for pick up was super easy. Prior to grabbing my order I just walked around the store and noticed that it was definitely a very clean environment, staff was very friendly and helpful and everything just looked well placed and laid out. From a pricing perspective I don’t normally shop at these types of stores so I couldn’t tell you comparatively to something else what it was like but I bought four large bottles of Paul Mitchell conditioner and shampoo a bottle of Aveeno body wash lotion and two Neutrogena make up remover wipes and I think I paid $97 for it all. Overall great experience from a large retailer and would definitely shop again.

Went for haircut today, I wish I could give them zero star, my haircut was done by Tressa , worst haircut ever, she showed me that she’s gonna cut an inch but she made my hair too short , moreover, she doesn’t know how to style them. Poor experience. I would never recommend anyone to go there and waste money.

Went in today and saw a eyeshadow kit I liked. Was walking around with it and the alarm on it suddenly went off. An associate grabbed it off of me and said I’ll take this up front. I received no explanation as to why the alarm went off. I immediately felt like I was being judged. I manage a retail store myself. I would have at least explained why the alarm went off. When I purchased it at the front, I asked the young lady what happened and she explained that the alarm goes off when a certain spot is covered.

I love this ulta. The staff is so informative and helpful, plus very friendly. Sadly they do not carry the one item that I went in for. They did however, have the exact shade of nail polish I needed. The store is super clean and the smell when you open the door is so delightful--sometimes I pop in just for that. 🙃

Wanted to get my hair dyed but didnt know I was bald until one of the associates at Ulta Beauty pointed out I didnt have a strand of hair on my head. This pandemic has really affected me so bad.Although I couldnt find a suitable hair dye color and being reminded I was bald - sealed the deal for me.Im currently working very hard at growing my hair so I can go back to Ulta Beauty soon. Pleasant staff will make you want to go back every time even if you are bald.

I have never had my hair dyed before, so I visited Ultas salon over the weekend and asked how much it would cost to have my hair dyed from dirty blonde to an icy blonde shade and showed the stylist a sample picture. She explained the salons pricing to me and scheduled an appointment with me this past Monday at 4:30 p.m. I arrived on time and waited for about 30 minutes as my stylist finished up her previous client (which I had no problem with - totally fine), and she started on my hair around 5:00 p.m. I showed my stylist the picture I have attached to this as a reference to what I wanted, and she replied, "So you basically want it white," and I agreed. She got started with coloring and washing my hair and got me back to the chair for a 45 dollar trim that only took a couple minutes to complete, but at that point I could tell my hair barely looked any different. I am now out almost 200 dollars and my hair looks hardly any different than when I walked into the salon. I paid in full with a full tip since 1. the pricing isnt my stylists fault, and 2. my stylist had been so nice to me, staying past closing time to try to get my natural hair colors to lift (plus it wasnt like she botched my hair), but for my first experience getting my hair done, I was really let down with the results. It was frustrating to spend that much money on something that really didnt meet my expectations. Having started my appointment late, I felt like I was being rushed out the door with sub-par results because the store was closed by the time we finished. Since we had a late start to my appointment, if there wasnt going to be enough time to work on my hair, I would have rather rescheduled to a day that would have given her enough time to perfect it to the shade I asked for.

I had a hair appointment with stylist Darlene. She had clients back to back that over lapped. She tried to push me to lighten my hair which i did not want as my hair takes color very well.. i asked for a color that did have a purple hue to it but specifically advised the purple cant not be to noticeable for the job i have.. she verbalized understanding of this.. she had me sitting longer than my mom who had a different stylist and they where not even done applying her color when i was already processing for a while.. she said it as because the center of my hair was virgin hair.. ( which is not true because iv been dying my hair since i was 14). She finally went to wash it out.. didnt even scrub my scalp.. come home to see my scalp is bright purple and the color is coming off on my hands.... cant even wear my hair up because the back of my neck and ears are purple as well.. iv been to this ulta more than once for the same service and never had and issue. She can not handle over lapping clients with passion.. she was very stand offish and you could tell he was over whelmed. My mom even mentioned to me how her stylist looked at me with a confused look on her face when seeing dye on my forehead.. very very disappointed. Also dye was not completely washed out as my scalp is itcy as anything. Washed my hair today wearing gloves so i wouldnt stain my hands..

I came in yesterday with no real plan as to what I needed. I just knew my old makeup routine needed to change with my skin changes it was time to switch it up. A wonderful young lady with beautiful dark longish hair (can’t believe I forgot her namesaw me wondering around and asked me if I need some help. She got right to it, we talked about my concerns with skin texture,oil, darkness and small bumps. She respectfully asked what my budget was and brought me over to the Lancôme collection and started matching me by looking at bottles. She grabbed a coworker who was soo nice and bubbly and they matched me simply by looking at my neck, everything is taped to be covid friendly! But they assured me they knew these products so well. And I trusted them, their genuine behavior, even a few other girls working standing by said what will help with my routine and how they handled everything I could not be more thankful! I got hooked up with benefit pore primer, and dared to try a new concealer from benefit as well. All topped off with Laura mercier translucent powder and given the helpful tip to use a sponge under the eye(: ........ now after going home and trying everything.... can I just say WOW!!!!! I haven’t felt this absolutely beautiful since My wedding day makeup- and now I have my own personalized recipe at home to look that good everyday! I could cry<3 THANK YOU - THANK YOU!!! I can’t wait to come back for Christmas presents(:

I had a my hair done yesterday with Darlene and she really helped me fall in love with my hair again. I haven’t had a proper hair cut in years and I really hated my hair. I told her I wasn’t really sure what I wanted but I had an idea. Long layers, framed face, etc. She did an amazing job at creating what I was envisioning. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!! Thank you!

I have been in this store several times and I never ever get asked if I need any help. The sales people are always too busy talking to each other to bother. Once again I walked out yesterday without buying anything because what I came in for was not on the shelf. I wanted to ask if they had it in the back or a good substitute but nobody was around to help me. I searched and finally got frustrated and left. On my way out I saw a gaggle of salesgirls up front chatting with each other. I am a middle aged woman who has money to spend and was looking for an expensive eye cream. This is not the first time that this has happened to me there. I get very frustrated in this store and would rather make the drive to Whitehall and go to Sephora where they are always so helpful.

I would start by saying that I have always had great service at this store and hair salon. Unfortunately on my last visit to the Salon at Ulta I had my haircut done by Theresa. This was the first time she has done my hair. It would be an understatement that my haircut was bad. I have nice straight hair and when she was cutting off huge chunks of my hair I told her I don’t want it this short but she said she knows what she is doing. Despite repeated attempts to stop her at the end when I again told her I didn’t want my hair the way she did it ( bad layering she said it’s my fault and I should have communicated better.Now I am stuck with a haircut that I hate. I guess all I can do is wait for it grow out in the next few months :(

I normally dont leave comments when I post, just star ratings but, I felt compelled to share. I had become a lover of makeup later on in life. At first I discovered the people of the shop at Airport Road then the people at the shop off of route 222. These wonderful people will go above, beyond and over the top for their clients. Im disabled but, Ive never been treated like Im handicapped by any of these outstanding people. I sometimes have issues with application but, overtime theyve showed me how to manipulate my brushes when my hands dont want to cooperate. A simple no makeup, makeup look would take me close to an hour and now Im down to 15 minutes due to the tips passed on by a group of incredible people. If it was possible to post more than 5 stars, theyd get a million from me.

Variety yes, but I went in a few times after work since it was in the same area. Much of the staff seem to think they are supermodels and forget why theyre there. If you dont dress the part they will literally look down their nose at you (Im kinda short). They have no idea whats in your wallet.

TRANS FRIENDLY STAFF AND ATMOSPHERE. Ive been coming to this store since I first started my transition journey, and Ive never felt judged, condescended, or alienated, even when I had a five oclock shadow. The selection of products is great and theres always plenty of testers and applicators to let you play before you pay.It gets 4 instead of 5 because of price point. The designer brands are all market price, but the discount stuff is marked up high compared to other retailers in the area.

Usually I come in this location and it seems to bother staff when I ask for help with color matching foundations, and Ive purchased 2 different colors now that dont match,but today there was a girl named Sarah that worked what seemed the benefit brow bar area that actually took the time to help me and had me sit down and she was super helpful and polite, I will definitely ask for her again. Days like today I really wish she got commission because she was unbelievably helpful, everything I purchased to she recommended, thank you Sarah!!

Went to the salon for blonde highlights, came out with a whole head of silver hair. Salon manager corrected the silver tone the next day for free, which was nice, but my hair was still overall darker than when I went in. Not sure how you can mess up highlights.... couldve done them myself at home. Complete and total waste of $155, was happier with my color before I went in. Would never return to this salon.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Everything is well stocked every time I come in. I decided I would try out the salon here and I was not disappointed. Ariel was amazing and achieved the bright red color I was looking for. I already made another appointment to come back when it needs freshening up and to add some blonde. Super happy with her work.

This has to be about the 3rd time I visited this location. I have nothing but great things to say about the warm welcome you get when you go into this ulta and the assistance. I will no longer visit the location on airport road due to lack of customer service they have and rudeness here. This store is newer the carry more prestige brands I use and the staff is awesome. Sarah whom works at this location is extremely sweet and was helpful to me today. She is the reason I will come here because of how awesome she was and the other staff.

Out of stock. Customer service seems reluctant. The lady near makeup always gets stuck talking forever about weddings, I hear about hers everytime and never get help. Cashier didnt instruct me to the best buying options when out of stock, thus wasting my coupon. Ended up going to Richland Crossings.

Darlene Juhasz ruined my hair not once, but TWICE the week before my wedding. I had had good results with her in previous visits but this past visit she did not dye my hair like the picture I showed her and when I pointed it out she dyed it BLUE and then blamed me. She proceeded to strip my hair - turning it green - and then asked me to come in again so she could fix it free of charge (after paying $363 for the blue incident). I go in the next time to have it fixed, show her a picture of a brown to blonde ombre, which my hair was close to if she got the green streaks out - and she proceeded to dye my whole head MAGENTA. I wish I could share pictures because it was horrible. There is no way it was not done on purpose. Another salon spent 5 hours with 3 employees correcting the significant damage. DO NOT go to this salon or to Darlene. Overpriced and vindictive hairdressers.

I needed a small travel size of hair product. It was difficult to find an employee on the floor to help me and to check if there was any available in inventory. When I asked if there was another area where they sold trial sizes I was informed there was not. On my way to check out, I saw a travel size grouping of the product i wanted and at check out there was a travel size section. I tried to pay for the items but ALL of their registers were down due to technical difficulties. Not a good experience. I couldnt even buy anything!

Darlene Juhasz damaged my hair, left it spotty with orange and yellow brass after she literally slapped bleach all over my roots. A color expert at UltaBeauty in TX had to do a color correction! He also had to remove 3 inches of my hair and was appalled that she would send me out of the salon like that! She also charged $192.0-0. She charged $300. the prior month when she messed up applying a high lift blonde as she didnt keep it on long enough. I believe her tactic is to get you in there and do a great job the first time. Then you come back and maybe the second time is fine but she will damage your hair eventually. its almost like Pavlovs theory as she earns your trust the first time. You return and she will blame that your hair doesnt like bleach when she overlaps and breaks it off at the roots. However, now she has your trust & you are just praying that your hair gets healthy again. A year later she did the same thing again and I am onto her and I am warning you that she is careless with bleach. She doesnt write down the toners used & has over toned my hair as well. Shes expensive and exalts herself and that may be the problem. Dave, the Manager only cares about making his store look good and as a Diamond customer you would think he would care about the customer meaning me. I will go to the BBB and the State Board as Im tired of these colorists who cant provide a service and feel its only hair? Bleach is a major chemical! Darlene made me wait 20 minutes when she took a client who didnt have an appointment before me. 4 hours to have my hair destroyed again by her!

Not only do you scatter what male products you have all around and make it impossible to find, the one person who did ask if I wanted help just pointed in a couple vague directions instead of showing me.Also the cashier asked "do you know someone with a loyalty account". Yeah, me. Not that Ill be using it at this store any longer.

I am beyond ANGRY!! DO NOT GO TO KATIE at the salon. She destroyed my hair. She made my hair into a choppy mess. I didn’t realize what a horrible job she did, until 2 days late when I washed out the curls. She can’t cut, color or style. I don’t know if my hair can be fixed. She claimed that she have 10 yrs of experience, I highly doubt that. She couldn’t answer the simplest of questions. Save your self the trouble!

I had a really bad experience with Darlene who was supposed to be the color specialist. I was trying to go platinum blonde, (I was already a dirty blonde). She left the bleach on my head too long obviously because my hair started to fall out and my scalp hurt for 2 weeks. At the end of the day I walked out of there looking decent. My hair had to be chopped (and I LOVE long hairand the blonde was darker than we had discussed.. almost a beige/blonde. I also had to pay $200 for what I felt like was a huge mistake. She called a week later to see if I wanted to come in again for her to fix it but at that point I no longer trusted her. I heard great things about Darlene, but I would urge you to look elsewhere if you are getting your hair colored.

Associates this evening very rude and not helpful. The 20% coupon can only be used once between now and Christmas. Really!! I have been there three times in the last week asked if I could return everything and do one purchase which she said I could so I guess I will. I asked about another promo on the philosophy and shes like I dont know our promotions. Hmmm..ok then.
