Uncle Ronnie's Red Tavern in Providence County

Interesting place, we walked in on a busy Saturday evening and the hostess sat us right down. Perhaps she didn’t tell the server because we waited a while before we saw her, she apologized for the wait and was very nice. The food was excellent my wife had the Buffalo chicken wrap and I had the prime rib. We were ready to go and the server was nowhere to be found… waiting again. Finally got the bill and paid.

Uncle Ronnies is such a great old-time Rhode Island restaurant in Burrillville! The owners are always there to make sure things are running well. The food is fantastic and I LOVE the chicken Parm!

Good food but very poor service.

Portions were huge, Id go back for the huge potato. Waitress was fun. Kitchen didnt make one person at our tables food and my food was personally bland and chewy. Everyone else seemed to like it. I will go back for a loaded sweet potato and apps though.

While the food is decent, you should prepare for a 2-hour time commitment if you opt to dine at Uncle Ronnies. This place simply cannot get their food out to customers in a reasonable amount of time. This has happened to me too many times to be anything other than the rule, rather than the exception. Weve been offered a different excuse on each occasion. The cuisine simply isnt good enough to warrant sitting around waiting for 2 hours.

We arrived at 6:30 looking forward to a great meal. Instead after 1 hour we were still waiting for our meal, and told that it could take another 30 minutes. We ordered. Simple meal, club sandwiches and it was going to be an hour and a half wait for the meal.

This place is awesome!! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. You get generous portions so you can enjoy round two the next day! Our waiter was super friendly and kind. We will definitely be back soon!

I ate here for dinner the other night and the food was amazing! I got the breakfast burger and it was delicious. Our server was really funny and super friendly. I was very impressedWe went back again today and the outdoor seating was so nice. The food and service were also excellent, as usual.

Yuck, havent tried in years. Tried it last week and just yuck is all I can say. House salad dressing so spicy even after eating, brushing my teeth and gargling still was tasting it. Scrod was very small and dry. Chowder was mediocre. I hate given bad reviews, but sometimes I just cant not

Great menu selection, you will always find something youre in the mood for, there is a dining room if you bring the kids or lounge area with entertainment on the weekends, huge drink selection, served by friendly, drink knowledgable bartenders, hats off to the waitstaff and the chef, fantastic meal every time, restrooms are clean and well stocked,poop worthy if you must.a 5 star restaraunt for steak or seafood.

Just made it home and my husband threw up. He had prime rib and it was tough and didnt taste right. He told waiter and was offered another piece...no thanks. We brought it home for dogs, but through it out. I had a lobster roll that was okay but was spicy. Not a typical NE lobster roll. Wont go back.

The food was very good. We were charged more than the price on the menu. They charge you more if you pay with a credit card. Seems like they just nickel and dime you. One and done. Gave 3 stars for the food quality.

It had been quite a while since we went to Uncle Ronnies. Their clam cakes and chowder are second to none, and I highly recommend them. Our server was efficient and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves. Glad to see that theyre still in business.

Been living in Burrillville for 5 years now and today was the first time I went to Uncle Ronnies. Always thought it was more a bar than restaurant like the rest of the area but I was mistaken. The dining room is small compared to the lounge and bar but that didnt impact the service or food. Waitress and staff were attentive and really got a family feel from them and the other diners there. Everyone was laughing, saying hi. That small town feel Ive come to expect from Burrillville in the last few years. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back! Also much bigger selection of seafood than I ever expected, way more than most inlad restaurants!

Today was my first time coming here and everything here was excellent! The food was perfect, the service from our waitress was amazing, and the building was very clean. Cant wait for the next time I get dinner again from here!

St Patricks day, ordered corned beef and cabbage, given a large portion, dinner was very tasty. Service was good.

Place is really good one day and the complete opposite the next time. Depending whos cooking the place is really hit or miss. They used to be really good all the time until they remodeled and made the place 80%bar room and 20% restaurant. Now all they seem to focus in is the drinks

First time and had a great experience. The food and atmosphere was perfect. Definitely will visit again soon.

We went for thanksgiving dinner. I’m not really sure what I was expecting as I’d never been. We had a group of 9. We were not given a drink menu. They did provide a special menu for thanksgiving. Which had higher prices then what I was quoted on the phone when I made the reservations in October. The food was very good. Very generous portions. Enough to where some of us took home enough for a whole other meal lol. Service was not very good. I’m guessing maybe because we were a large party?? Idk I just wasn’t feeling the welcoming feeing and felt rushed and like the waiter didn’t really know what they were doing. As I said maybe because of the size of us. It looks as if it’s mostly a party of 5 or less type of place. Smaller inside but nicely done. I’d go back as a couple with my husband and try it again.

The server we had, which could have been the owner, were not sure, was extremely nice and helpful. Answered any questions we had, and was able to find out answers pertaining to items on the menu, and make changes if we wanted/were able to do so. The food was absolutely excellent, and the prices were reasonable for the items, including alcoholic drinks. Had tons of different types of food on the menu, had seasonal specials, and had things, such as bunches of crab legs, that Ive never seen/are unable to get, at other restaurants, including seafood ones. Had fresh, piping hot bread, that, surprisingly to us, had garlic baked into it, and it tasted great with the fresh, whipped butter it was served with. The food definitely hit the spot, and there was enough left over for further future meals. Considering well be moving into the area, we will DEFINITELY be regular patrons here! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! I cant wait to see what the future specials will be, and cant wait to go back and try all the different things I saw that I didnt have this first time. 😄

The prime rib was not only cooked PERFECTLY, but the broccoli and mashed potatoes were too! Truly tastes like real, home cooking and not processed food! I love how the food isnt over salted as well! Wait staff is also great too! Excellent night out on a rainy evening! Thank you ❤

Great service. Nice ambiance. However my Chicken Parm was like biting into a rubber ball. Others in party seemed just ok with their meals. Steak tips were very good.

Enjoyed a Saturday night out. Large menu selection with good prices. Food was excellent- large portions- took alot of leftovers home and had a nice lunch the next day.

Great food! Something for everyone! It was right on the way to our visit to the Conjuring house. They have everything from itialian to seafood! Would definitely visit again!

Its unfortunate because the seafood is fresh and the food is awesome... but the service is soooo slow. I waited 30 minutes for ketchup and my girlfriend finished her dinner before I could even start mind. They need staff. Food was great

Dont order the Texas toast grilled cheese cheeseburger...very little cheese in the grill cheese, the toast is barely toasted so gets soggy before it gets to you and the hamburger if not burnt is the sizeof a Ritz cracker with one piece of bacon added...not worth $15.00. The stuffies are bland ... basically soaked bread crumbs....very disappointed after hearing good comments about their food😖

Very nice and understanding staff great with kids. Food is also really good! I usually get the seafood plates and I have never been disappointed! The Prime Rib is also AMAZING! the warm bread that is served while u wait is also very good!

Followed a little sign on a pole and found this gem. Great menu, service, and the seafood casserole was delicious. Ill definitely be back to try more of the menu. Wish I could have gotten a "I got crabs at Uncle Ronnies" T-shirt. Remember to order 5Xs for us big boys!

I have NEVER had a bad meal here. The crab legs are sooooooo good and their steamers? Sweet and yummy. Mmhmm, this is such a hidden gem. Casual dress and the staff are always very nice!

Delicious food. Everything was cooked perfectly! Seriously perfect! The calamari was tender and melted in your mouth, not rubbery or chewy. The steak was med rare as requested, onion rings were super light and crispy. The baked sweet potato was HUGE and tender. Drinks were just right. Def suggest this place to anyone.

New place to go to. My girl had a good time. I had a good time. We went for the live entertainment and beverages. We were not disappointed at all. We will be going back for food and entertainment. The band was vanishing Breed. Good mix of music, mostly country. Some older country and some a little newer plus southern rock and a little rock mixed in.

Used to frequent this place 3 times a week. Food is pretty good but dont even think about sitting anywhere in the lounge area its reserved every day for band members and the staffs friends even during the week. How can a small band reserve a whole bar and lounge. So walk in customers cant ever get a bar seat? Makes no sense

Food was excellent. Wait staff a little slow. Not sure if they were short staffed or not. We didnt complain. The white sangria tasted more of orange juice than wine but the rum bucket was very yummy. The band was very good but would like to go back on another night when its not so busy and loud.

Went here on a whim with the grandparents. Atmosphere is old school tavern and restaurant. Servers were great personalities and attentive. The food is just a great deal. Good variety of everything including a bunch of seafood. The 2 for $30 special on Wednesday and Thursday was an unreal value. We got calamari, prime rib, haddock and clams, beers, grapenut pudding, soup and sald for $30. The food was excellent and of huge proportions. The meals at other tables seemed just as generous. Would definitely return.

We had the 2 for $30 special... EXCELLENT! Lots of food and every thing was delicious. Because of the bruins game, they were very busy, we were seated without a wait but, the food was slow to come out due to the large crowd. The waitress kept checking in on us and was attentive even with the heavy work load. The service was GREAT!

Food was great. Generous portions!! Wings are awesome, I loved the buffalo ones. Friendly staff very attentive. Specials are handy too. Id say expect to spend $20 per person with app, drink, meal and tip. Very reasonable for the quality and portion of foods!!

The service here was slow to say the least. The food was just alright and the watermelon sangria was amazing. We came for the entertainment which was awesome (Billy Harpin Band). Overall a decent restaurant and an enjoyable night.
