What an amazing view to the past!

Interesting, not sure if it is worth a special 1.5 hours drive to and from. Gave an additional view of the natzis activities and the way they slaved prisoners in the Ural mountains.

At first I thought this will be just another system of caves and tunnels with some weird history but it turned out to be one of the most interesting places I have seen tied to important and little known events from WWII.

It was a nice experience, but if I knew what it was beforehand, I wouldnt go. Its a little underwhelming, although its well maintained and cared for as a tourist attraction.

Very interesting place! Did both tours. The "special" tour is only in Polish and will take you through the flooded part of the tunnels. Its approximately 200m in the dark but you get a flashlight along. This is the only extra compared to the normal tourThe normal tour is with an audio-guide in English, French, German or Czech. Together with the guide youll walk trough the illuminated tunnels. At every stop he tells something in Polish and as a non Polish person you can listen to the audio-guide.Both tours take app. 50 minutes.The guides speak a bit of English so you can ask them for some extra info.After the tour is finished you can walk up the mountain to see the casino and the ruins. An intense but nice walk.

Must see when youre in the neighborhood!The local guides dont speak English, so definitely rent an audio guide. Tip: bring your own stereo headphones (normal mini jack).Do combine it with Gross Rosen!

An adventure and a mystery. We were guided for over an hour through the underground tunnels built to unknown purpose in the WWII. I enjoyed the stories told by our guide - clearly passionate about the topic.

Another architectural marvel from the Nazis tucked in the vastness of Sowie Mountains in the Sudetes. The sheer brilliance and location of the underground location is a testimony to the fact that they were way ahead of the time. But the atrocities inflicted upon the enslaved people is way beyond our comprehension. Osówka is one of the complexes of project Riese initiated by Hitler during WWII. The location of the underground complex says it all, and there is no way you can even see it from a distance. Its amazing. Dont miss it when you are around

Sławek was a great and passionate tour guide and Osówka is a mysterious and historically interesting place.

Unbelievable place. The tour guide was not very good though,lack of passion,he talked so slow it was hard to follow him.The place deserves more explanation,passion and questions that tourists might have.The tour guide seemed uncomfortable with that. The Polish actor from the multimedia presentations is amazing.

Its an amazing place to spend one hour, make sure you take a jacket and proper footwear. The audio guide comes at $1 and is a must if you dont speak polish.

Place full of secrets and legends. During 1hr excursion,for just 24pln, professionally guided by stuff, you will feel fully all the atmosphere of the object.

History and mysteries, my favorite combination. Take a look, youll like it (dress warm, its really cold down there).

Fascinating but sad as well because of so many people suffered to build this underground city..

History galore. Make sure that if you require an English guide, that you pick one up at the ticket booth. We were told they would be available at the entry point and they were not. I was able to translate from polish, but even then quite difficult to do on the fly quickly. Audio guides are just used in several spots, markers along the way. Depending on your guide you’re experience will vary - our guide wasn’t the greatest, but luckily lots of pre-reading I was able to provide plenty of information when translating.

The complex itself is worth to see. The main reason of the loss of stars is the audio guide - it says 3-4 sentences at each stage and then you just stand there while the guide talks for an extra 10 minutes in Polish.

It is a great experience to visit this structure. Walking under ground and see what the prisoners had to do. Now I know why the call it the Giant.

Our tour guide Luskas was amazing coming from the United States its not easy but well worth the trip!

Horribly underwhelming. The “extreme” tour itself was only different from the regular tour because you have to wait 20 minutes to go on a small boat that floats in knee-deep water. This boat ride is for less than 1 minute and then you walk on a few soggy planks suspended in water. The normal tour is better because you don’t have to wait for the boat.The rest of the tour also wasn’t very interesting. This “underground city” was very, very far from being built and basically consists of several rocky tunnels and 2-3 small bunkers. Most of the actual exhibits are posters of weapons (unrelated to the tunnels themselves besides the fact that they also were used in WWIIand life sized “models” (also postersof tanks. It feels like the entire tour is trying to convince you how impressive these caves would have been if they had actually been anywhere close to completed.If you speak English and insist on going, make sure you get the actual English tour. The audio books don’t tell you much.This could be worth it if you’re less than a half hour away, otherwise this would not be worth the cost of the gas to get here.

Amazing and mysterious military construction by 3rd Reich. Good restaurant but there is no need for table service (takes timeand my favorite gripe: you pay for your toilet. Its 5 star anyway.

The place in general is amazing. Beautiful location and vews, but food in the restaurant is horrible. Ive been there twice and the first time was amazing! (It was like month agoThe food was delicious! But now Its very badly spiced and almost inedible. Plus the person behind all of this has no idea how to run the restaurant. I would love to go back here in the future but if the food doesnt change Im afraid I wont.

Rather disappointing for foreign visitors. Nothing is written or said in any other languages than polish. Thw groups are formed too big to fit in small corridors, so there is a lot of waiting. The guide did not say a word in english, though it was not described in beforehand. Extra fee for parking and audio guide that was not very explicit. We had much higher expectations.Would recommend to Change attitude if aiming for foreign visitors as well.

Wow, what a place to visit and see the elaborate plans of the Nazis. Wonder what they were planning to do with the facility?! And how this network may link to Ksiaz Castle. Fascinating. With car parking, entry for two, and audio tour for one, cost only 51 zloty so was great value. Was a 1 hour tour. My partner received the polish tour which on a whole gave much more information than my audio tour (English guide unavailable on this dayso when possible get a guided tour - included in the general admission cost.Think to couple this trip with a visit to Ksiaz Castle.

Great piece of history. Highly recommended for WWII lovers. Our tour guide - Daniel, showed great knowledge and passion. He only spoke polish. On that day they didnt have an english speaking tour guide, we called before and asked what options we have. My partner is british so that time he had to take headphones. Information given on headphones where briefed. We thought he missed a bit of interesting information, which I had to tell him later. We recommend to always have a guide. We chose "history tour" option, but there are few more to choose from. Overall we loved it

Something different, no one knows for sure what the Germans planned for these bunkers. Interconnected at strategic points in Poland. Definitely worth a visit.

A fascinating place. With well organised tours.

The tour covers an hour walking through the underground city, and is dirt cheap. They have an educational path checking through most of the remnants, which is free and worth trying.

The site is interesting and its worth a visit BUT if youre a tourist and dont speak Polish youll have to pay an extra 15zl for the audioguide (ticket is 24zl so almost double the priceand said audioguide is poor, to say the least. While the Polish guide was talking and talking and talking we were watching around trying to understand something. Also youll need trekking shoes and a flashlight if youre going to take the extreme tour (which I suggest because its funny).Answer: we sent an email to you a day in advance asking for reservations and an English tour. You proposed to us the English audioguide. Nor in your website is written theres the possibility to have an English guide for the extreme tour. So its fine to have a general explanation for free. If I pay almost another ticket I expect to have a complete guide.

The visit is nice but nothing special. Moreover, if you do not speak polish, you will receive an audio guide, providing you insufficient information and for extra 15 pln, while the guide explains to group not understandable stories.To answer: Sorry but we wrote to you a day in advance to ask for an english tour and you said that there was only the audioguide. Neither in your website was specified otherwise. I think you should take a suggestion and give the audioguide for free or make it a bit better. Regards

Historical route is not so long and not too much to see but Daniel the guide made the excursion just awesome. Big thanks to him. The only one point is the place to eat -- its better to take some food you because meals in the restaurant are below average

I was expecting more. The audio guide in English is not worth to pay as the guide is not stopping in some of the points and theres not so much interesting info recorded. The guide (the human onedidnt say a word in English, not even to inform people when the tour was splitting between extreme and historical so non-polish speakers were completely lost.Reply to the owner:12.45 theres route in English Saturday and Sunday, the problem is that we couldnt make it at that time so we had to take it in Polish. We were not asking to have everything in English, but at least to say in English when the tour is splitting between extreme and historical. Thats it.We were turning the audioguide on when we saw the big information boards, but the guide is not stopping in some of them. By the way, board with number 3 is missing.

If you have ever been in adit, mine this place dont have too much to offer you. You can learn some history about Riese complex, see equipment used to built it, very short swim using boat and line and run through some chain bridge and wooden board. Great place if you are visiting with kids.

Very cold and wet down there, but we were prepared for it. Thank goodness for the hard hats. Very interesting history behind this place.

I like history.. so I was pleased to visit this place.. unbelievable history from WWII about Nazi plans.. Im glad that they didnt succeed.. but we need to know history.. there was dark times ago.. many things we dont know.. guide done well done job explaining all in English ..

Very cold, wet and dark place. Please remember to take a torch with you and a good boots. Do not take any pet wit you. Highly recommended for a family with kids over 12.

Interesting place but besides nazi mysterious tunnels there is not much to see. There are other tunnel complexes close by. Good idea for a whole day trip

Very interesting place! I think the standard tour is enough (you cant go in solothe extreme tour is just a short boat ride and then running through water with some wood planks... None of which is original. Its just been added to make the tours more interesting.

Historical place from WW2 place to see if you are intrested in places like this and what the germans did to pleople. Midle of the forrest very spooky place.
