Hey listen anyone on here works at the United States Post Office past or present can you tell me who is responsible for opening the processing center distribution bay doors the expediter or the truck driver? This is the bay doors to the facility not the truck whose job is it to open the bay doors to the manufacturing processing center for distribution for the Post Office

First time I’ve had a package immediately lost in transit after reaching a USPS office. Sure enough, I look up their hundreds of 1 star reviews and see this is just how they operate

I mailed a letter certified on the 8/18/22 and is still havent gotten to the location, customers dont use no post offices in west orange, (east orange both location Is especially 384 main street orange nj 07050 ,they never nothing, at the Kearny distribution center they need to fire the hold staff and bring in better management too much criminals working there

This is the third time w/in a one year period that packages we have sent havent been scanned upon arrival at Kearny & not delivered. It has been 11 days and counting. I had an Inquiry" form generated by someone in customer service 3 days ago. Im supposed to hear back from them by today... we shall see. Either way, this facility requires inquiry & workplace improvements! If I could give it zero stars I would, but I didnt because I have to believe that some of the staff show up & do their jobs.

I paid first class certified on 8/4/22 I was told that it would be delivered on 8/6 as of this moment my certified mail hasnt been delivered, no one can tell me were my letter is. This is the second time this has happen the first time it took 11 days. They are looking for it now , I was told that it hasnt even been scan in. This well cost me more money to fix this. If there was a star before this star I would check that one.

Avoid if you can, they always have long lines compared to other post offices.

I came in with very low expectations because its a USPS, but I was still impressed at how poorly run this post office was. If the line is literally out the door, open a second service window

Why you would trust the Nj postal office is beyond me. Liars, rude, and just incredible the mentality of people that work there. 100% a front. 100% involved in fraud and nothing can be done except AVOID THEM AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.

Kearny USPS Staff must be doing something with Mail we send out into their Drop Boxes. Ive had mailed returned to me half torn and opened with the stamps missing. Now im sure they know that its a Federal Offense to mess with our mail like that! Also missing mail is occuring when i ask the Reciever of the mail im sending them and theyre not getting what ive sent out. Now why is this Happening? Like i said earlier it is a Federal offense to tamper or mistreat any mail we are sending out so i advise you Kearny Postal Service to get it together now because i know ive personally lost my Patience. Its your job to take extra care of our outgoing mail to saftely make it to its Destinations.

Can you please for the love of GOD fire the mailman around the Windsor St. area..???!! every day I receive someone elses mail and when left in the mailbox because its wrong with an actual note on it stating that its the wrong adress..it gets left in there!! This is ridiculous and now I am left wondering how much of my mail is delivered to the wrong address as well.

the worst place I have ever called I called to find out if my package is there and if I can pick it up the lady interrupts me and tells me only Kearny residence can pick up I never heard that in any other usps in jersey this place is the worse and customer service is even worse

My package has been here since 12/11. Was sent out on 12/3.Keep getting text "will be late". Where is it, its only going to Howell. USPS is the worst and I paid for priority mail. What a joke!!!

Went for passport application appointment yesterday for my new born.I was first attended by a lady (forgot her nameshe was nice and verified my documents real quick and i had to fill our form again due to small mistake. After that i was attended by Jonathan and he did made process smooth and explained everything in detail.Overall it was good experience for me and my family

Horrible experience. Not reasonably possible to connect to an agent in any kind of normal length of time. This automated age we live in again proves why it is so often deplorable. My grade is F minus unless I can go even lower. Giving one star above is well beyond generous.

My package has been sitting here for days, finally got through to someone and they said "we havent recieved it" even though it says package accepted kearny njI guess Im not getting my engagement ring judging by the rest of the reviews. 🤗

My package has been at this post office for the past 5 days and I haven’t received any updates. When I track my package online it says that there is an “exception” and there hasn’t been any updates in the past couple days. I tried calling the post office to ask for updates on my package and I was unable to speak to a live representative.

USPS is trash everywhere. They are not reliable. There is no agent available to answer the phone when I call the general number and it is MEANT this way. You have to use a local office number to reach them which isnt very public, and you often get the general one when google it. I paid over $200 for my item but never got it. I dont believe they actually delivered it. I dont trust them at all. I got all my items that day except the one delivered by them. I heard USPS made false statement in the past about the delivery status because they could blame Amazon instead. All they told me was to file a claim. The similar thing happened before, and it showed delivered but I didnt get it until a few hours after that status change.

My 1st time here. Very easy parking. Easy ramp to walk up into the building. Beautiful rustic wood interior walls. Very old looking building. The agent that helped me was knowledgeable, efficient, and helped me very quickly.

Very indicative of the mentality of the postal service as a whole these days. Lines out the door constantly and only one window open; they hardly ever answer the phone...its no wonder the USPS is losing millions and millions of dollars each year. Amazon should take over the post office duties.

Located in California, and called this post office because of an outgoing package I needed intercepted last minute and the lead manager was so helpful and called the carrier and got it taken care of for me and now returning the package back to sender. thank you so much!!

Let me just start by saying if I could this place a zero star I would!!! My boyfriend ordered a pair of Air Jordan Dior 1s from his cousin in California Oakland if you know these Jordans are limited sneakers. The USPS guy came and delivered the package. When my boyfriend opened the package it was two white towels. I just want the employee who felted confident enough to steal sneakers worth up to $12,000 to be held accountable. We have many vacations coming up and baby showers to attend and this is just one of the many problems to deal with. When I visited my local post office who delivered it, the supervisor told us maybe when the workers seen "California" they may have thought of illegal drugs . Its not far to the ones who work hard to have to deal with the b.s. TWO WHITE TOWELS FOR $4,000 I CANT BELIEVE IT.

My package was last seen here on March 14, noted as “in transit to the destination,” which is Rahway. It’s now almost March 18, is someone walking it over to Rahway?? Seriously, Google maps says it would only take 4h 45m to actually bring it to Rahway on foot.Note, the package came from the Ukraine. Their post got it to NYC in 2 days. That was February 24th, mind you. So it’s been bumming around NY/NJ for WEEKS now. The USPS is a national disgrace.

Slower than Molasses. When I worked In shipping we guaranteed delivery to an adjacent state the next day, not in a week or two. The USPS estimated the delivery date to be two days previous and it’s been sitting at this post office for 3-4 days so far.

Used passport service to apply passport for my kid. My appointment was at 10am and they have stated around 10.04 am. Staff was friendly and helped me to resolve all queries and collected my documents. Overall process was easy, I have filed my passport form online and submitted to usps. Only problem is here youll find Street parking during busy hours its difficult to find parking spot.

Everything I buy on Ebay that happens to go to this post office sits for weeks and sometimes months. Its a total joke. I have no issues at other post offices but it stops here and done. Fire every useless lazy loser that collects a check here because thats all they do is collect a check. Its very obvious they dont work.

Im baffled that this post office has not been looked into by USPS. My wife is relying on a package that she paid for faster delivery and it was expected a week ago and its been here. Theres no way to get ahold of anyone either. Stuck in New Jersey. This is a joke right?Update: finally received the package but still absolutely no clue who is at fault though. Couldnt reach anyone here or at the seller.

They have lost TWO of my recent orders. One package has been sitting there for 3 weeks and was due 2 weeks ago. I live in NJ by the way, about 2 towns over. My second package arrived at Kearny and its most recent update was that it arrived in MARYLAND!

Two different packages from different companies have been lost. One lost about a month ago and another 2 weeks lost. The moment I saw the tracking said it hit Kearny Post Office, I cringed and knew something would go wrong and sure enough it did.

USPS Tracking says pre-shipment and label was created on Sunday the 5th, its Wednesday the 8th, expected Delivery is set for TODAY the 8th , No updates on the website nothing. So is my package just sitting there ? super inconvenient Im so mad I had to search the reviews and find out something like this would happen.

I am absolutely upset with today. I have been trying to pick up a package for a week now. I have gone to the post office 3 times now and now because of one letter mistake in the name, they would not let me recieve my package. I have requested for it to be redelivered. If I am still unable to recieve my package I will be extremely disappointed in this service and would request to speak with a manager about this😡

Been here several times during the week and ive never had an issue. There have been times where there’s a wait but never unreasonable. Staff is helpful and nice.

I live in Rosedale, MD and I order an item from a company who has a warehouse in Dayton, NJ. The company shipped the item on 3/1/2019 early in the morning, the Dayton post office transferred it to the Kearny, NJ location also on 3/1/2019 at 4:06pm. Then as in 3/1/2019 up to today 3/5/2019 the tracking info stated " Shipment Received, Awaiting Package Acceptance" Then as of this morning 3/1/2019 the status of my package changed to"Accepted" so my package sat in their office for almost 5 days before they did anything with it. Also as of right now they have only accepted my package, so I have no clue how much longer it will take them to get it out an on its way to me. I only live a few hours from that post office, if they would have done their job properly from the start. I would have already had my product days ago, as it should have been delivered to me no later then 3/3/2019 based off when the company originally shipped it. I tried calling the Kearny, NJ post office but after an hour of searching online, all I can find is a 800 number that cant or wont transfer you to the local office. This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a post office, whoever oversees this office really needs to take action about this. Because there is 223 bad reviews about this particular office, so why hasnt anything been done yet?

I order a package to be here by last Friday. the carrier left one notice on Friday. The packages are always left. This one they didnt leave. I tried to have it delivered. They could not find thepackage. I called customer service. They told emto call the post office. They give me a number that is disconnected. I waited an hour. I call later and have to wait another 45 minutes. I do not have a car thats why I ship everything. I just had to go to the post office and spend $15. On a taxi. Now it looks like I will have to go to the post office to pick up my package. Sloppy hate this ahitty service. Update... went to pick up the package and they would release it to me. They wanted a lease. Even though the package had my name on it. The website states I need an Id. They declined and wanted a lease. It doesnt say bring a lease to pick up a package.

This has to be the WORST USPS facility in the states. Every time one of my packages ends up here I always receive it a day or two after the scheduled delivery date. WITHOUT FAIL, every single time. I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is consistent in one thing and that’s delaying delivery dates, I wish USPS would step in and either hire new staff or improve the service. Absolutely ridiculous.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I was sent a CERTIFIED letter a month ago which was returned because when the carrier scanned it apparently said my address didnt exist (mind you I have been getting all my other mail perfectly fine). The letter was then resent AGAIN Certified, it has been over a week since it supposedly arrived at the distribution center and has not been scanned since. I have spoken to the manager there and was told that it was scanned through the wrong machine. He even told me that because of this it may have arrived at the local post office but no one has sorted it as Certified and it could possibly be just sitting there. I called to ask to speak to a supervisor, I was told by the person on the phone that she was a manager. I kept trying to explain the situation to her and what the manager at the Distribution Center said but all she kept saying was that the last scan was somewhere else which means they dont have it. When I kept trying to explain that per the manager at the center maybe they didnt look anywhere else thinking that it HAD to be in a specific spot she started raising her voice and talking over me. I got so upset that I had to hang up on her. This is an important money order, and this is the second time the delivery has been messed up. These people do not know the meaning of customer service.

I hate this stupid post office. They always losing peoples packages. Every time my packages comes to this post office it sits for like 3 days or it gets to the wrong post office. If I could give it zero stars I would. If I were the Boss o would fire every single one of these people. No wonder usps is going under. Amazon will soon get rid of you.

Despite all the negative reviews, Ive been doing online shopping every month for the past two years and every package I get goes through this post office right before getting to mine.Ive only had to view this post offices reviews about twice in those two years out of frustration with a SLIGHT delay in my shipment.Ive never had anything go missing despite all the reviews youre reading.However even my own post office has horrible service and workers so Im not going to knock everyone elses bad experience.

Last week on hold 34 min and someone says my package was delivered according to the tracking number-obviously not or I would not be calling. They say they will speak to the driver and call me back. Today still no word so Im on hold waiting 27min when the call gets picked up and disconnected...ugh Im trying to call back and now its just busy. At least once a month we get the neighbors mail, or the block up with the same house number and the other day someones from E. Orange(not even close)! Wheres my package? And wheres your customer service? They say it was delivered Sat. Dec 3rd-its now the 13? What happened

when i tracked my packaged to Kearny, i curiously read the reviews, which was a mistake. Because it made me became really worried my package would get stuck at this post office. but i noticed a lot of the reviews are months apart, so i guess those reviews were the packages that "slipped between their fingers." I got my package on time and i live all the way in Cali!staff probably just need to be more careful!

OMG I just cant believe how worse this location is. I send a very important time sensitive official documents through priority mail from CA to Newark,NJ and and it reached NJ just in one day. glad that it made it across the country in one day, but my package has been stuck at Kearny, NJ location for freaking 2 weeks!!!! god knows how long more! all the tracking information just stops at this location. Everyday I get the same notification that it has "departed the destination facility" but obviously it hasnt because it cant be departing every damn day! Customer service is absolutely no help! phone number doesnt work for this location. By looking at all these past reviews I cant believe they havent done anything about this place. Avoiding USPS at all cost now.

This post office facility is HORRIBLE!!! My package scanned in there on October 14 with 2 day priority shipping. It is now October 19th and I still have not received my package. After reading these reviews, its quite obvious to me that this postal facility is in need of some serious changes. The company I purchased the product from has filed a complaint with this postal facility. We will see if they do anything. Are the employees stealing packages or just being lazy?

If there ever was a black hole of the USPS, this is it. If you ever see "Kearny" on your tracking, its over. Whoever is running this place should be immediately terminated. It has taken over a week to get a small package just a few miles, it still hasnt been delivered. "Processing Exception " for 3 days now? Really, the Post Office is finished.

First time dealing with this PO - Express Package from California with guaranteed delivery to somebody going overseas. Tracking showed it arrived 8:45am but they never delivered by 7pm when the person was leaving for the airport. Tracking checks, text messages and calls were of no use. Line always busy!This is a most Useless and hopeless Post office.Are people there having a Federal Job? Looks like these are the offices that make the Post Office unable to compete and losing so much taxpayer money! This is the worst experience I have had with the post office! So nobody picks up the phone anymore in our public offices? Come oooon!!It must be closed down! Period! People must be fired since the taxpayer is paying them! Or find totally new Management and hire new staff and train them!
