The staff at the Orwigsburg Post Office is amazing. Carriers and Clerks are all friendly and willing to help. Thank you for your service!

No masks, in a tiny post office. These are mandates for you to follow. You should be fired. I live with two parents, in their 70s. If you want to exercise your “freedom”...quit your tax funded job and go work for yourself. Follow the guidelines for the safety of the community that employs you.

I applaud the USPS for continuing to show up every day during this national crisis. The staff at the Orwigsburg Post Office is awesome! They are always kind and help me with all of my needs. I don’t want to say they go above and beyond because everyone had their limits of what they can do. I believe they do the best they can with what they have. I see reviews on here telling employees to quit their jobs or complaining about the employees not giving tape. GROW UP! This is a place of business and if they have it for sale then they should not give it out for free. How would you like it if they came into your workplace and wanted a handout. Yes I understand it might be only the smallest piece of tape but I guarantee you are not the only one who asks. Leave these people do their jobs the way they are told to do it. We have an issue in our cul de sac where one of our neighbors CONSTANTLY parks too close to another neighbors mailbox. The Postmaster did the right thing and took care of the issue to the best of her ability. Mail delivery isn’t always 100% perfect but that lady tries her best to make sure things are fixed. Postal employees are human just like all of us. Give them a break already.

Usually, in the past, I have had wonderful service. This morning was ridiculous. The clerk would not give me a couple of pieces tape to affix a label to my package. Told me I had to buy their packing tape. I asked her why, she just kept pointing at the tape on their wall. I told her in the past that I have been helped with putting on a label and she said " Well I dont know who you were dealing with back then." She was rude and unhelpful. Told me to go down to the Dollar General and get cheaper tape. I asked if she couldnt help me WHY was there tape at her station. She just looked at me. By the way, Dollar General taped my label on for free. That was an exceptionally nice thing for her do. (Had to pick a 1 star so it would postBut a ZERO STAR is for the woman at the post office, not the facility. Shame on the Orwigsburg Post Office for putting in a bad customer service clerk.

I know most people don’t like junk mail. But some junk mail is important to others. 3 time I was at the casino when tournaments were going on and I could not register because I never got the mailer. I don’t receive any mailers for Ollie’s or harbor freight either. So I contacted the places to make sure my information is correct and is the same thing time and time again you must contact the post office so you get your mailers. If it’s addressed to me I should get it if I don’t want it I’ll toss it away. I really enjoy my carriers they are nice and courteous.
