Would not recommend.... At all . Travel the extra distance to another post office . The workers are extremely rude, have an attitude when you ask them for help with simple thing(things that are part of the job descriptionand not very helpful. Customer service is not a priority at all. Wont be returning.
Dropped off 9 packages with prepaid shipping labels. 7 were shipped. There is no record the other two were received. Not sure if they are dishonest or incompetent but according to the reviews it seems a lot of packages go missing from this post office.
This place is the WORST. Staff is rude & the lady sent my package to the wrong place!
Theyre terrible they never had a phone number that you could ever get a hold of anybody if you have an emergency or want to tell them about something or report something no theres no room nobody to answer the phone who wants to work there if the people are that slackered already
This is worst post office I have ever dealt with. Apart from the delivery people always stealing packages, their services are the worst. I have lost over 10 packages that they said they delivered but they never did because I have a camera in front of my door.
Rude and unprofessional. They have lost 3 packages this month alone, and damage this one. Clearly they could have just used a larger package box or dropped it off at the door, but no, that would be too much work. I was told this was the senders fault. Did they come all the way to Georgia and stuff a vinyl record into a box that is too small? I think not.
From looking at all the reviews it must have been a good day for me. I walked right in and mailed my package without any problems. It took less than 5 minutes.
Horrible and unprofessional makes me never want to use usps EVER AGAIN!! 35 PATTERSON RD employees act like your bothering them just to pick up your package. The white lady doing the sworn procedure looked at me like I was a foreign object the lady reminded me of return of the zombies 🧟♀️
Horrible, I needed a passport appointment for my son and couldn’t do it on kiosk. I tell them and they say it’s nothing they can do to help me RIDICULOUS I see why they have 1.7 review
Customer service here is terrible and the staffs are not helpful. I do not want to return and feel so much better with USPS at Snellville location.
I was in line to pick up registered mail at Patterson Road Branch. When it was my turn to pick up the mail, the attendant by the name James called me to his window and I handed him my ticket. He told me to step aside and called the next person and started to serve her. After waiting for several minutes I politely informed James I was in front of the other customer he was helping and asked to get my mail so I can leave since I was there first. He then went off threatened to have me removed. I asked for a manager to speak to. He refused to get his manager and continued to shout at me. After I insisted to speak to a manager, he had me walk around to another locked entrance door at front and told me to wait for supervisor. After waiting for so long, no supervisor came and I realized a supervisor will not show up so I had to walk away. I called the office to speak to manager, of course the wait was an hour long to get a manager on the line so I had to hang up. The worst post office and total waste of tax payer money. Unless you really have to go to USPS, go to UPS or look for another branch, definitely avoid this rude guy called James.
The automated machine was broken and the employees seemed to not care. Consistently get mail in my PO box thats not mine... and some senders seem to always get mail returned even when correctly addressed to me. Its a mess.Update: service here went from bad to abysmal.
THE UNPROFESSIONALISM AT THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I had to pickup my mail here for a few weeks because my newly built community didn’t build our mailboxes yet. If I came before noon the reply was “come back later the mail is not sorted yet” or “We have no one to go back there and get it” THE ATTITUDES ARE CRAZYYYYY!!!!! Glad they changed my zip code and this is no longer my zoned post office!!!!!
1 star is a stretch for the post office on Patterson Rd in Lawrenceville. The people in the office are so very rude and honestly WHY??? The tall LOUD man that works the counter is the worst. Not sure why he still has a job. I have to go 5 miles out of my way to get to a post office where you are treated decently. Such a shame.
They lose my packages all the freaking time.....My sister sent me a gift just last week...p.o. Delivered it to wrong address somewhere in my neighborhood... But those ppl out of town, their mail is actually on hold at p.o. Nothing should have gone there anyways....... Nice lady at p.o. Calls me and says...... Well it shows delivered to... She went out to the house and looked to see if it was still there.. Nope... But guess what it wasnt insured, so even though they the ones jacked it up.. Im out the gift... Happy birthday to me.....How is it my fault when they deliver to the wrong house... And admit it.....My neighbors delivered my package today.... Theyre great....
When you have a package at this branch and the tracking number says its Out for Delivery, it simply means they scanned it, thats it. If its something bigger than a regular envelope, theyll either put a notice slip in your mail box or youll have to bring the tracking number to the post office and ask them to find your package.
Absolutely terrible customer service and uninformed staff. My review is simply two questions: Why do I, the customer, have to educate your employees as to what can and can not be sent through the mail? Why do your employees not know this or at least make an effort to look it up? No wonder your rating is so low on here.
So I went to this post office today to inform them that I am not getting my mail, and that also mail is all over the place where I live, on the ground, stuffed inside empty mailboxes, etc. The man that helped me needs to work with the dead because he has no customer service skills whatsoever, the way he speaks to people including myself is deplorable, I dont ever want to deal with this post office again. I dont care if they were the last on earth. No customer service skills, and they talk to people as if we have no education. This post office needs to be shut down.
They should literally fire everybody here and rehire them back a brand new motivated staff. You can tell they come here just to collect their checks, I set an appointment time to be here to do my passport paperwork arrived on time, and was told to wait because they were waiting on someone LATE to arrive and be served before me. It has now been 25 mins past my appointment time and I still have not been helped. Terrible service I wish I could give less than 1 star.
The people that work at this place are very rude. Our house caught on fire and was no longer livable. So, we requested that our mail be held at the station. On the third days after putting in the request, my husband went to pick our mail up, a slim short lady with black Curly hair went off on him, telling him they would not keep holding our mail. On their website it states that they will hold the mail for Up to 30 days. It had only been the third day. She was being very nasty to him, saying they would no longer hold our mail, and we had to get a PO BOX. Which I did as well, but on their site it states that it takes 7-10 Days for Po box mail forwarding to go in effect. I hate having to go to this post office. They won’t even honor services that they advertise. They just need close this post office down.
Im surprised at the current overall reviews since I think today the USPS here is doing a great job. Me personally, Ive been shipping with them for the past several months. Not sure how things were way back then, but today I would say their customer service is on point and they try to expedite customers as fast as possible, always calling out customers whos already paid to just drop off to the far right or pickup to the far right without having to wait in line during busy hours. They do what they can, and I also noticed that when the line gets long another rep would come out to help assist the speed as well. I would like to give a shout out to Vickie there as well, she helped me ship out my 7 boxes, thanks for your patience even though it gets so busy.
Beware that masks are not required in the PO box area, and I have seen several people come in without masks. However, the actual mailing area does require that customers have face coverings. I went early in the morning and several employees did not have masks on. Though, they were behind the plastic shields that divide the employees in the back and the customer area. No social distancing and even in the morning there were several people.
I am a staunch USPS supporter, but when I dropped by this location to send out some packages, I encountered TWO unmasked counter workers. One kept leaning around the plastic hanging barrier to talk to customers. Both unmasked women were incredibly rude to customers. I ended up leaving without mailing my packages. I find it appalling that while the branch had several signs requiring masks and social distancing inside, the federal employees did not follow the same orders.
Genuinely the most frustrating USPS branch I know of. Had made me change my opinion and understand that privatization of the Postal Service is necessary. There is literally a ~18% chance (Ive calculatedthat when a package is "Out for Delivery", it will not be delivered and updated as "Held at Post Office, At Customer Request". Obviously I dont request this, theyre just too slow and/or lazy to deliver and have to try again. Staff at this location are all either overworked and/or apathetic, no customer service is to be had here. Expect the worst.
Sent a package out on 12/10 and paid for 3 Day Priority because the item was a perishable. The destination is 3 hours away from here. Not only did my package never make it, it was sent back and no one will answer a phone to give me an explanation why or refund me. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! You are better off just spending the money with Fedex or UPS. Worse customer experience ever. Also there is never more than one person working the line.
Worst service and rude employees. The lady that delivers to our neighbor constantly skips us and does not deliver for 2 3 days. Also marks our packages held at customers request because she doesnt deliver. It is out of hand and they always have excuses when I speak to them.
Mailed Halloween cards on October 26th. Also mailed a birthday card for a friend for Oct. 31 st. The USPS could not get it to Florida IN 7 DAYS! The birthday card was delivered on 11/2, what a disappointment. One of the Halloween cards was delivered on11/2, and the address is serviced by this same post office! Worst service and awful attitudes. Every one of the employees needs to be fired in this location, worst people ever. This location is also the filthiest I have ever experienced. You complain, no one cares. You complain, your mail does not get handled properly.
The customer service here is terrible. I have had many delivery issues with this post office. Any time I order a package and it is delivered through usps... it gets "lost," or "stolen." However, they mark it as delivered. I was informed that when they do this... it is so they dont have to deliver it and they can store the package for however many days they want. This should be illegal, and as a tax payer... we need to vote to defund the usps if this continues.Maybe we should try a private option when delivering our mail. Anytime I order through Amazon Prime, or FedEx... I always get my package.... why cant usps do that? I think it is time for a privatized postal service.
Second time my packages had been robbed by the employees of this location !They marked it as delivered from their end.I called the office the first time and their answer was they had footage proving it was delivered. I requested to see the “footages “ however the lady said she wasn’t authorize to show those !Worst customer service ever.
I have a package coming with a tracking number and for two days now it has said that a delivery attempt was made when there was none (I have been expecting this package and watching my mailbox like a hawk). The tracking says it will be held for pickup but when I went they said it was out for delivery. The mail had already run at that point and the package wasnt there. Why did they say a delivery attempt was made when there was none? Why did they say the package was being held for pickup if it was sent out on a truck? I just want honesty and transparency. Im fine if my package is delayed, just be honest about it!
I had a slip in my apartment mailbox 3 days ago to pick up my package at my USPS location which is this one and I went this morning since they were closed over the weekend and when I got there, they had one person behind the counter and a line out past the door. Very slow and short staffed. I was told my package wasn’t there and would be delivered to my home Today since they are overwhelmed with packages and they decided to deliver them instead of keeping them. Well guess what, mail came today and NO DELIVERED PACKAGE! I went back up to this post office and someone else told me again that my package would be delivered and it’s coming. So now I have no clue when it is coming and that package I ordered was a item that was 500$ so I’m very angry no one can tell me exactly when it’s coming and I don’t know why it wasn’t delivered today when the mailman came to house. I am beyond angry. I know things are slow with COVID going on but if I’m told it would be delivered today then it should have been delivered today especially since the package tracking said it was at their location since Friday and it’s now Monday and still NO Package!
The Staff is very rude with the nastiest attitudes.I haven’t received mail due to my box being too far from the curb in a month, however I’ve been at my address for over 6 years with no problem. Then received notifications in my mailbox about undeliverable mail ...if you can leave a notification, you can leave mail! Customer service training is a must have for this location.
ZERO stars.. very disrespectful. Unprofessional and incompetent. I was in line and overheard another customer asking about her misplaced package. She seemed calm and polite but the woman behind the counter quickly got loud and defensive. Obviously I didnt hear the whole conversation but I dont know of many situations where that sort of response would be appropriate.Not to mention they were THROWING packages into the bin. Not placing them gently.
The postman at my address 3405 sweetwater road is wither stealing my mail or continuing to give it to the wrong address. Ive had two packages in the span of 5 days go missing. Keep in mind both of these packages are small enough to fit in my apartment mailbox no problem.The post master informed that some packages need to be picked up at the post office if they do not fit. I went there and none of them were there leasing to belive they were again stolen or put in the wrong mailbox. Apparently matching numbers is too hard for some people.Ive included a picture showing just how much mail gets misdelivered here. This only from the past 2 HOURS. Its crazy and disgusting how careless these people are.
The workers are extremely unprofessional. The short older lady with curly gray hair and glasses her name is Cheryl and a worker name Ms. Thomas (she claim this is not her regular officetried me today. Instead of Cheryl going to get my package when I arrived to pick it up she went and got Ms. Thomas out the back to confront me for hanging up on her earlier. Who ever the letter carrier is don’t want to do their job so I had to go get my package that was supposed to have been delivered 5 days ago. My previous experience with the employees there has been the same. I have had two packages come up missing from this location.
They provide the absolute worst mail service ever. Here I am at 8:30pm and my mail has not been picked up yet. They frequently come after 9pm and we have a different mail carrier each time. We have dealt with this poor service for years. Also when we go into the post office they are slow and very rude. I have also observed one lady working at the post office mocking an immigrant for his accent.
This place is the worse post office Ive ever dealt with in my entire adult life, in my opinion. Cheryl refused to answer a specific question I asked her about my mail being placed on hold, but I never placed the hold. She just kept saying, your mail will be delivered today, thats it, refusing to answer the question. I do not like going to this post office at all, But its close to my house. If you have a choice, go elsewhere and save yourself the headache, in my opinion.
Please note this location not only are the most unfriendly staff I have met to day. This is why no one has respect for USPS system. It is beyond frustrating dealing with all of the staff including management. No one knows where you mail is that should be held. No on calls when you leave messages for your carrier. And you get two different direction. Please note I did learn that you can not ask for your mail to he held and place a change of address at the same time. Even of the form has dates. It does not matter. Someone needs to help this government organization with a little common sense and a lot of CS training
This post office is holding my priority parcel since my May6 2019 and do not wanna deliver it, nor i cant get it because its supposedly somewhere in the back. I have contacted any possible official and filed reports. Lawrenceville post office isnt responding any calls. Customers affairs rep responded that this post office manager isnt responding his emails neither. How the local post office hold someones property like that?????!!! Parcel is small and light and have my personal belongings, not sth orderd from the store.
The worst post office ever!!! They could care less about your mail. They act like they are doing a favor for you! I received a “last notice” forCertified letter when I didn’t receive the other notices. Went to the postal office before time was up and the item was sent back already. AskFor supervisor after waiting 10 minutes a gentleman offered to help ( Campbell . Other than that nobody here is interested in helping you they could care less .
Ive read several reviews of missing packages, unfortunately I just experienced same. My package was delivered to a wrong address and they couldnt retrieve it. Sad!!!Update 12/31/2018: Another package Im expecting was returned to the sender and they claimed my address has issues!! Unbelievable, a rating of 2 stars is alarming to any functional entity. Overhauling is absolutely needed here!!Update 01/03/2019: Well, Miracle still exist and maybe theyve launched a quality management tool to get them on the right track. My missing package of 6months and another package returned to sender on a claim that my address was wrong were delivered. I lost hope totally in them to the extent that I turned my Sisters address at Buford to my mailing address. If I can crucify them, I should be able to also appreciate efforts made in recovering a 6months old lost package. I will change my rating of 1star to 3stars!
By far one of the worst experiences I had for a post office. First off I expect it to be busy on a Saturday, but what was happening before me was enough to make me think this post office needs a serious cleansing of its people and processes. My experience went like this:Arrive for my passport 15 minutes early, 2 parties of people were in front of me. I had to wait for a whole 45 minutes. When my turn came not only was it a rude and unprofessional attitude this lady had, but she also made completely unnecessary comments and questions on the processing of my renewal of the passport itself. She made a comment about the sweater I was wearing, and asked why I was ordering the passport book instead of the card. Like its even her business on why I choose the book over the card because duh I travel a lot. I was very patient and I held my tongue but I definitely wont go back here again. Oh and the other lady forgot about the payment needed for my passport photo. I had to remind her.
My girlfriend lost her important legal documents that she was supposed to get in mail but she never received it. Thankfully she had signed up for email notification in which you get the picture of the mail that’s being delivered but somehow she never received it and when she went to the post office to complain about the issue, they never took it seriously and the document is still missing. The supervisor at the post office never cared about the issue and didn’t put any efforts to locate it. She also receives mails that doesn’t belong to her address. These people just don’t value the mail and they just put anywhere they want.
May not be the chattiest employees (like a lot of people would like, people don’t understand dealing with people consistently like this is tough. We are all human beings and sometimes we just don’t want to talk. So if I receive a greeting, a smile or nod during the transaction and a have a nice day at the end I’m good with that because I don’t need to expect you to put on a show for me when I tell you My cat died todaybut every time I go in, it’s packed and those postal workers are busting their butts. I’ve never been made to feel like my business was unwanted or or my time was invaluable. I have gone in there and seen 15 people in line, (it doesn’t help that it’s a small spaceand one gentleman who seems to always be there when I go in, helping like two or three people at the same time all while not making one feel less attended to than the other. That is superb service to me!!!!
Worst service ever. A friend and I came here to apply for a passport, It was their first time, and I made sure to check a location that operated on weekends so I could go in with them and show them the process. The website showed that there was no time available for weekends, even though the main page says otherwise. So we went in as walk-ins and were told all appointments were cancelled, but we cant fill out any forms, make our payment, and have our photos taken without an appointment. The room was completely empty with 3 or 4 women behind the counter. The lady was short, cold, and told us to go online, after I had explained that we tried that. We were there in person, completely prepared and no appointments were there. We showed up at 10am exactly. Their hours are 9am-12pm on weekends.....so they say. It was really rude of her, frustrating for us, and such a disappointment. Nothing but lazy people behind that counter and they are operating at a government facility.
This location had completely unprofessional staff and only one person at the counter with over 10 people in line. You can hear people in the background and it literally sounded like they were having some kind of a laughing competition. They lost the title to my car which I cant even tell you how frustrating that is. They took down my number and said they would call. No phone call in 4 days, so I called corporate and this location didnt even escalate the issue. At least their corporate did. No hope for this location. If you dont have to come here, dont bother.
So we were super excited to get our Amazon Fire Stick only to find out the mail man lost the flipping key to all of our mailboxes...we havent received mail in a week so everything that had been sent to us had now been returned. However, the post office marked our amazon delivery as delivered. How could it be delivered if the mailman lost the key!! They cant deliver packages at our door here at our apartment complex. We will be arriving shortly to figure out why they keep covering their ass. This isnt the first time theyve done this to us. This is the second time its happened within a month. Thankfully, the last time we caught it before the package was returned. This time we werent so lucky. Use UPS or FedEx, yall. Because this post office is a joke.
How hard does it has to be to put the correct mail in the right mailbox. Im tired of my packages being misplaced, or lost. Maybe they only hire incompetent people as carriers. It really makes you worry about ordering valuable things online, and expect them to deliver them to the correct address.
you always have to wait in line whether theirS one person or 200. when the wait line gets down to a few people the other clerks walk off. the clerks in this office are nasty, rude and insolent. they act like your doing them a favor. I am white and the black clerk acted like I just slapped her across the face when I asked her to explain something. then she stormed off to the back screaming that someone else would have to wait onme. I sent $2000 worth of electronics off for a modification and paid the insurance to ship it there and back. the box arrived back at my house crushed. I went down to find out what happen and the lady told me if I filed a claim the insurance would cover it. I got a check for one unit and they refused to pay for the other three units. total loss $1600. I do not go to this location for any reason and the main one is that I am handicapped and cant stand in line for 30 minutes at a time. very poor service.
This Post Office is ridiculously terrible! NO ONE does their job correctly! I have sent numerous packages to my best friend from VA and every single one of them never gets delivered to her, no matter how many times I have scheduled it for redelivery. She always ends up having to go up there then argue with the people cause they claim they dont have her package. Not only that who ever delivers to Sweetwater apartments is completely incompetent and mentally challenged. They NEVER knocked on her door and this isnt the first, second or fifth time its happened. We send packages back and forth EVERY week or two and it happens EVERYTIME! I never have a problem with my package she sends me cause my post office isnt a bunch of over paid monkeys that dont know how to do their jobs!!!!!!!!
