Nice campus there for short tour…
Beautiful campus in picturesque setting.
Beautiful campus with mature trees next to foot hills.
It was an amazing experience. The light show was something wed never seen before.
Beautiful Place, weather can be moody.Best coffee on campus is at the Laughing Goat, Norlin Library
Went for Shakespeare festival. It was great, even in the rain.
Very very nice campus
Our son is a student at CU Boulder and we couldnt be more happy with his decision to be a buff. A fantastic academic institution with a diverse student population and (in my opinionthe prettiest campus in the world. Absolutely love the place!
Such a beautiful place. The campus has grown in leaps and bounds since I first stepped foot on it in 1967, then again in 1979, and now in 2022.The history and memories 💖💖💖 I have shared on this piece of ground at the base of the Flatirons, I hope to never forget 🦬🦬🦬
Its a great place to walk through especially when the new under is finished
All they care is about the money. Not only is it ridiculously expensive but they do not help at all. My friend got a full ride scholarship that was supposed to cover all of tuition given to her as financial aid. She had already set a budget with her counselor in boulder for what she was going to pay for room and board etc. All of a sudden a month before school begins she finds a bill of 10k from fees that her counselor had not told her at all about. She called her counselor and the counselor told her the fees were final and nothing could be done about it. The counselor also evaded the question of why she didnt tell her about these fees.
Amazing campus, beautiful architecture and blue skies.
Surrounded by mountains and greenery, an awesome place to get your degree from!! Wintery days are gloomy but the mountains compensate for those once snow starts. The temp in peak winter (Feb-Marchdrops to as low as -25 degree C (-13 F). The spring brings a new life to the place and the beauty gets enhanced by blooming flowers all around.
I’m not giving it a one star because the campus is beautiful and the rec center is amazing. I’ll list out the pros and cons of this schoolPros:Beautiful campusGreat rec centerGood business schoolMostly good professorsWelcoming to minoritiesGood restaurants on pearlWalking distance to the mountainsConsClasses are very big even for some upper level class, I had one upper level class that still had 80 peopleVery agnostic and atheistSafest isn’t a number one priority as events happen and we find out through barstool buffsPeople can be super judgey if you are conservative or religiousNot enough resources for people with learning and mental disabilitiesHousing is on average $1300Not enough fast food places on campus or by the hill
Regret the day I chose to come to this university. Money minded management that couldn’t care less about their students. The professors are good, but that is overshadowed by the management who want to do everything but educate.
Pretty campus. I just come here for work (bus driver), so I dont know anything about the school or buildings.
Incredibly pretty campus where you can walk to downtown and are nestled right up against the mountains.
Before I studied in this school and like the environment and school very much! Very good University
Beautiful campus! Love coming here.
Great college!
Stunning campus . The grass and landscaping are immaculate and history is evident in the older part of campus. The new part of campus is elegant and planned well. Really a gorgeous campus. Students are very friendly and helpful!
Love CU!!! Games are so much fun!! Love the goal for 0 waste, they are making it easy with well marked bins.
AVOID HERE. Just go to another university. I REGRET the years at CU Boulder. Professors are fine but the bureaucrat SUCKS. They RUINED MY WHOLE LIFE because they refused to admit their mistakes and make any adjustments. And it will negatively impact my life for something I havent done. They assert that they care students. But the truth is when I really need help to maintain justice, NOBODY ever helps me. All they do is rely me with format and throw my problems to others and refuse to help. This school ruined my whole life.
Ive never been more stressed in my life then going here. Really beautiful place and great academics but man, lots of pre-requisites and a whole lot of weed out classes that have really thrown off my groove this last year. I hope to change my review over the next few years though. It can still prove itself.
The University of Colorado Boulder is located at the foothills of the Rocky Mts with many options for great outdoor activities. This university can be known for having a drug and party culture, yet in my experience some of what is being taught through the college courses is even more harmful! In my time as a student on campus some of my professors seemed to be dangerously lacking accountability and oversight. A womens studies class included the teaching of feminine superiority and the crediting of Creation & wisdom to female power as a basis of womens empowerment. If you choose to take classes at this school check the syllabus, you might be surprised to learn what your money (& taxpayer moneyis being used to promote.
What a beautiful campus. Lots of hiking trails right by your dorms. Lots of sunshine. Nice place.
Just got doing guests Relations at the CU FB Luncheon. Had a lot of supporters, alumni and donors friends of athletics Department. Had a great time seeing and meeting them.
We were there for freshman move in and the made it pretty smooth and easy
Beautiful campus with lots of cool things to see and do. Museums, bookstore, the football stadium, and so forth. Awesome place for a stroll.
Remarkably car-proof campus
Met 2 very nice college guys at the burger place..one from NY and the other bay area Calif..
Really lovely campus and everyone is friendly and people care about house their space looks.
The rock memorial is amazing beautiful and special. Its just below CUs football stadium on the Creek. Where the football team does Spring training. Its worth the ride to Boulder it is beautiful! 10 statues or pillars commemorating each of the people that died at king soopers fantastic work.
Live the myriad of wildlife and the beauty of the landscape.
This is a great campus to walk around and view the old buildings and history related to the university. During the winter more wildlife will come down from the mountains and enjoy the campus as well :)
Nice college. Beautiful campus. Student concentration is a lot less than normal but a little more than what it is in the summer. Most students are wearing masks on campus. Off campus is another story. As of last weekend there were still parties on the Hill. If covid 19 cases skyrocket classes will go online only.
Beautiful campus but you can tell that the overall school gives little care to the students or professors. Most of their time and money get invested into sports and very little into the academics. (I mean look at the stadium, gym, and main cafeteria for the athletes versus the physics building, math building, or even the chemistry building. The difference is like night and day.
I cannot personally attest to the academics here, but the campus was beautiful. I have two mates that go here, and they seem to really enjoy it if that counts for anything. The Front Range gets over 300 days of sun per year, and that is reflected in the red tile roofs and solar panels gracing them, very progressive of Colorado-Boulder. Worth a visit if in the area or hoping to enroll in the university, though one should note that its a good distance away from Denver International Airport, and transportation should be arranged if you would like to make decent timing there since using public transport includes taking several busses and transfers.
I was in the area for the first time to hike recently and saw this campus from up on Panorama Point (on Flagstaff Road). Since its red roofs stood out even from that distance, I was intrigued enough to go down and walk around. I was blown away by how beautiful it is here! Its as if youre walking through a modern Italian town, or some place in southern California. The buildings almost all have awesome stonework and red tile roofs, and there are areas here and there with ponds to sit near. I would seriously consider going to school here just for the architecture and ambience
A beautiful campus in a beautiful city. If I was a virtual teacher and could teach from anywhere--I would seriously consider Boulder, Colorado.
Scenic views, but the students there are awful to opposing fans.
Beautiful campus full of knowledge! Unique style of building walls. There are many different kinds of food choices in cafeterias.
Beautiful campus. Must see if you’re in Boulder.
The most beautiful campus with mountain backdrop. Amazing building architecture.
Visited the Boulder Campus for an ASU vs Colorado football game. Colorado prevailed 😪. However we still enjoyed our overall experience as the stadium staff was very welcoming & the Colorado fans were gracious in their team’s victory. Hence, I will be rooting for the Buffaloes to have success thru the remainder of their 2018 season. And I look forward to them visiting us in Tempe in 2019 - and I will be rooting for our Sun Devils to improve & be victorious on our home field. “Forks up” 🌵 !!
Did a college visit summer 2018 with my twin boys. The campus is beautiful and the immediate area around it is fantastic. No students there yet, but the location made a major impression on 2 potential applicants!
We visited campus to attend an event at the Planetarium, as well as the Observatory. We had time to kill while waiting for the Planetarium to open so we rented bikes from a nearby kiosk and rode around campus. The campus is extremely clean and inviting, and is very bike friendly! It sits at the base of the mountain, so it is very picturesque.
Beautiful campus right in the heart of Boulder downtown.
I really enjoyed the programs offered to students here. The staff are very caring and the campus is so beautiful. I love how many events we have availible as well as different student organizations. I am sad that I have to transfer to a different school in AZ because I had to move but I will always be a buff at heart.
Beatiful campus, courteous staff, and an awesome city!We visited CU and walked around the campus just to admire how massive the campus was. Tucked in the mountains of CO, the campus alone feels like a small town rather than a school. We checked out an art exhibit, rode some bikes, saw some football practice, and took in the outdoors lifestyles of the locals.Room for improvement: A more guided visitors guide outside and within the campus.
