Stop and check out the butterfly garden before heading into the center where you can sit and watch a variety of beautiful Indiana birds gather around the feeders.
Really enjoyed it with my grandkids. They had things for the kids to see and do inside. Outside they had some rescue birds/owls. Small wildlife area and a small garden
Always a great place. Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable folks.
Kids love it
Very nice employees. Nice lay out
If I go there take my grandchildren look at the birds . And a very clean place thanks
They updated the flood map and added a TV with different videos to watch. My favorite was the photos of the dam and reservoir being built.
Very good nature center. One of the kids was upset by the hawk eating the chick, so the employee let him feed the turtle to make him feel better. Also the garden is very nice.
Great place for kids

You learn a lot about wild animals like eagles! Very interesting!
Love the staff here. Wonderful and knowledgeable about local wildlife. Good family fun. Also has a birdwatching area and I rails near here
Attended annual "Pioneer Granny Doctor" workshopInformative, interesting, fun time.Center also has nice taxidermied, and live displays. Master Gardners also do a very nice garden area to wander through.
Great nature center.
Love visiting the garden here and appreciate those who take care of it each year! The kids enjoy the center and we always walk the short trail behind the center. So many good memories at Salamonie!!
Had a great time and made owl calls
Wonderful hiking trails! Avoid them after heavy rains though as the trails flood. If youre camping over night you need to bring cash ($12.85to pay for your primitive camping spot on bloodroot trail!
Love this place
Fun place to visit at the Salamonie
Staff n facility were really great
Very nice.
One of the most kid friendly nature centers with a bird watching area and interactive play area.
Awesome Raptor Center.
Located in Salamonie State Park. Its a great little nature center. You can learn about animals in the area as well as seeing some up close. There were amphibians and reptiles behind glass, as well as an area to bird and chipmunk watch. As well as an outdoor area where some larger birds were kept. Really great area.
Great nature center and wonderful staff. Please remember to support your favorite conservation and Recreation areas.
The staff is always helpful .The grandkids love it here. There is a butterfly garden. And a couple loop trails that give you a good feel for the property.
